How's it going everybody we're at Jim Trenary Chevrolet in O'Fallon Missouri taking a

look at the new 2019 Chevy Traverse Premier. Real nice SUV as you can see. It

does have the LED lights, the HID lights, the fog lights, keyless entry, push-button

start, a lot of storage room, a lot of cargo room, a lot of leg room. Fuel economy on

this vehicle is gonna be 18 mpg in the city, about 27 mpg on the highway. It does have a 7 speaker

Bose surround sound stereo system and the built-in subwoofer. So, if you like

to put your jams on this is the vehicle to do it in. Some real cool features is going to

be the tailgate adjustment right here. So you do have the max which is all the way

open. If you are in a garage and you only want the tailgate to open 3/4 of the

way so it doesn't hit your garage door when it's closed, you can do that as well.

8 inch LED LCD touchscreen and it does have the hidden storage compartment as

well behind that. So inside here you're going to see a USB port and a lot of

different USB ports and 12-volt power jacks. You have the front controls on the

steering wheel with bluetooth, voice activation, 4G LTE wireless Wi-Fi hotspot.

The cool thing about the 2019's is there's always a place for your phone.

Put your phone right there, charge it up. This 2019 Traverse does come with heated

seats, air conditioned seats. Comes standard with OnStar. It does have the dual

sunroofs in the inside of the vehicle here. Power windows, power locks, power seats.

If you do want to fold the seats down, fold them all the way down so you have

additional storage in the vehicle. A real nice feature as well for people with

kids or families or whatever it is, is you can actually let folks in the back

seat even if you do have a car seat installed in the vehicle. Simply just

put that up. Folks can just get right in the backseat of the vehicle right here.

Baby undisturbed and then

get on your way. This here's a beauty Clark! Coming and looking at the tailgate on

the vehicle it does have push-button tailgate. Opens right on up like that and it'll

come right back down as well by the push of a button. On the 2019 Premier

Chevrolet Traverse you do have the dual exhaust. You have the rear wiper as well

and it does have the 360 parking camera. So whenever you are parking you do have

a 360 view of everything around you for the Parking Assist. Makes your safety

options a lot nicer on this vehicle. Second row seating on the 2019 Traverse

does come with heated and cooled seats which are adjustable right here in the

back of the vehicle. Obviously right here you have another 12-volt power jack with

two USB charging ports. Also USB charging ports in the back of the vehicle on each

side for your passenger and the third row seating as well as the air vents in

the back to keep everybody cool. Additional lighting that you have there.

Rubber floor mats do come standard on this model. That is easy for clean up, but

you do have the ability to put additional cloth floor mats down too if

you prefer to do that. To test drive the 2019 Chevy Traverse Premier, come to Jim

GM Might Chase Ford With An Electric Chevrolet Silverado And GMC Sierra - Duration: 2:38.

General Motors appears to be changing course following the surprise announcement that Ford is developing an electric F-150

While GM's vice president of global strategy, Mike Abelson, used November's FT Future of the Car summit to reveal "There will not be any AV / EV [autonomous / electric] pickups" from the automaker, the vice president of Buick and GMC has suggested this isn't necessarily the case

Speaking to CNBC, Duncan Aldred said the company is "certainly" considering an electric pickup as GM is on a "path to an all-electric future

"When pressed for more details, Aldred declined to say whether or not an electric Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra is already under development

Despite being relatively tight-lipped, Aldred suggested trucks could be a good fit for electrification

As he explained, battery technology is expensive and this means it's hard to create affordable electric vehicles in mainstream segments unless automakers are willing accept lower profit margins on them

This isn't too much of an issue when it comes to full-size pickups as Reuters estimated GM made at least $17,000 (£12,897 / €14,903) per truck in pre-tax profit last year

This means there's plenty of room for GM accept lower margins while still making a healthy profit on every Silverado and Sierra they make

It remains unclear if GM will actually offer an electric pickup, but trucks were missing from the company's electric vehicle roadmap which was revealed in 2017

At the time, GM said its new modular platform for electric vehicles would underpin at least 11 different models including seven crossovers

One of those models was previewed at the North American International Auto Show as Cadillac released renderings of a stylish electric crossover

The production model is still three years away, but Cadillac President Steve Carlisle suggested the crossover could have a range of approximately 400 miles (643 km)
