In my everyday life, during cleaning or when I fit something in space like in Tetris,
I am reminded of the game in that sense.
I like that feeling of piling blocks to make them disappear at once,
as I work in a transport company where I pile up boxes,
the game helps to keep things organized.
For example, when I sit on a train and the row of seats fills up,
I feel like when a line is complete.
When I used to play, I would imagine things in real life fitting well,
where they could disappear if piled the right way.
A new Tetris series came out around when I started this job,
I added it in the arcade and it was popular.
However, popularity faded over time as new games came out,
so it was removed from the shop.
Then customers came saying that they wanted to play the game one more time,
so when I put it back, the game was good,
everybody realized it was fun.
Passion for it grew with time,
I started organizing tournaments,
at which point new people started coming in as well.
As a result I started to add in more machines,
this is where the arcade gradually started to be specialized in Tetris.
Honestly, it does pop up in my dreams sometimes.
It was in my dreams,
I would dream I was stacking around 20 blocks without leaving any holes.
I would see four-square blocks starting to fall or to move,
I picture this from time to time.
When I put things in a box and everything stacks well,
I would feel the same satisfaction as completing a line.
That's about it, I don't really feel it in other aspects of my daily life.
The Tetris Effect, as it is commonly known,
perceiving blocks in buildings and such,
I have probably had it when I started playing Tetris,
I was in high school at the time,
I recall feeling it around that time.
I remember having conversations about it, so I must have had it.
It may be only me,
But I have a similar sensation after playing Tetris as when I finish a jogging session.
I feel liberated in the same way,
I always thought it was similar,
more so as I was playing Tetris and running around the same period.
I know someone else say it was similar to listening to music,
there are many ways to perceive it.
For me, it is close to when I finish a run, It still applies to this day.
