Where do you see Audi in one year?

In one year from now - that is relatively easy.

Siegfried Pint Head of Powertrain Development Architecture, Control Units and Vehicle Integration

We will have successfully launched the Audi e-tron onto the market and, consequently,

will be experiencing the first electric car offered in the premium segment.

We will also see the first fast-charging networks on European highways and in America,

and with that, will also ensure the vitally important long-distance mobility of electric cars.

Where do you see Audi in seven years?

In seven years - it's a bit more difficult to see

what will happen in that time, of course.

But I am firmly convinced that electric mobility will prevail.

We will have the drive form across the board in all segments - in small

midsize and large vehicles.

In my view, the issue of charging infrastructure will have been resolved, not only for long-distance trips

but also for car owners who can only park in public spaces.

I believe that a great combination will emerge: Level 3, Level 4 driving -

meaning automatic driving on the highway - will be possible in combination with electric mobility.

That's a truly great thing for customers, because the driving task can then be

handed over to the car and you can use the time for yourself.

Where do you see Audi in 20 years?

I'm convinced that mobility will essentially be green,

and that electric mobility could therefore be the dominant form of locomotion.

Especially in combination with what could by then already be Level 5 -

that is highly automated driving without a steering wheel.

But I am also convinced that the issue of driving pleasure can and should continue to play a role

in this beautiful, new, green world of mobility.

For me, this means that the basic human need for locomotion and dynamic

locomotion will still be around in 2038 and that mobility will still be fun.

Hello, Youtube, Nathan's Vincent here with stp euro.

We're going to do a really quick product review on the exact performance over systems for

the mark seven Gti.

Alright, so let's start at the front of the car.

We have the front damper right here.

So this is your main damper.

This is going to go into your knuckle front.

Your sway bar is going to mount to a here.

This is a dust cover and this is obviously going to go to your top mount.

This is your front springs right here.

So front spring sits on here, uses your existing top mountain and drum bearings that your car

has.

We have an inverted damper.

So let me explain this a little bit.

This is something that most of the high performance dampers are doing at this point.

So you can see this as an inverted designs.

How big this diameter is.

This isn't skinny, this is it.

This is a big dining.

The reason that is is because this is actually the part that has fluid in.

It says the oil and inside here is a small rod, I'm just like a normal damper.

So if we look at a traditional damper, one of these rears is actually a traditional labor.

You have the small route right here, oil is in this area.

So, um, these inverted fronts either opposite boils up top.

We have a small rod running down in here within this larger rough, so we have our damping

adjustment right here.

So this is basically a two way damper so you can adjust the ride height via these threaded

colors and these will act as a locknut now locked together at whatever the chosen ride

height is.

And then you also have your jumping adjustment right here so you can make a harsher, harsher

valving or, or, or more resistant to move or change or you can soften it up.

I will note that this stuff is quite robust.

You can look at the diameter is up here at these big treads.

Obviously inverted design is going to make us more, more robust.

This is just a duct seal.

I know a lot of people switch over to a coil over suspension.

They struggled with it starts to leak oil.

You bought them out a couple times, you know everyone has their car nice and low.

This system, it looks like beat the materials used coming from VF, race engineering and

sexual performance.

These guys knew how to make the self well and this will last many, many years without

engineering.

Life Car TV - Audi RS Q8 Could Get The Panamera's 670-HP Hybrid Powertrain - Duration: 2:59.

Since the arrival of the new Audi Q8, we've all been looking forward to the launch of the RS Q8

According to Autocar, the highly anticipated RS Q8 would indeed pack a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, just like the Urus

But instead of using the engine that Audi furnishes for Lamborghini's crossover, the RS Q8 would adopt the powertrain from the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid – complete with its electric assist

In the Panamera, the system generates a combined output of 671 horsepower (500 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque – the same amount of twist, but a good 30 hp (22 kW) more than the Urus' 641 hp (478 kW)

And with the electric motor filling in the gaps, it'd likely offer more consistent power delivery

That'd make the RS Q8 the most potent crossover in the VW group – more than the Urus, the Bentley Bentayga, and any version of the Porsche Cayenne to date, though that would likely change as the powertrain makes its way around under the group's vast umbrella

It'd also make the RS Q8 the most powerful model Audi Sport (née Quattro) will ever have offered, eclipsing even the R8 V10 Plus by 68 hp (51 kW) and 214 lb-ft (290 Nm)

And it'd give Audi's new flagship a leg up over the competition as well, like the Mercedes-AMG GLE63, BMW X6 M, and Range Rover Sport SVR

Audi Sport could very well fit the RS Q8 with its 48-volt adaptive suspension as well – something which Ingolstadt said wasn't needed on the base Q8 due to its lower roofline and wider stance

Fitting it to the RS version would likely differentiate it from the standard model, though, and help tighten up what's sure to be a rather hefty vehicle

Life Car TV - Audi SQ8 Caught Undisguised, Will Likely Feature 500 HP Hybrid V6 - Duration: 3:24.

This is the upcoming S version of the new Audi Q8, spotted free of camouflage during its late development stage

A recent report on the range-topping RS Q8 claimed that it will feature the same plug-in hybrid powertrain used by the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, where it makes 671 HP

That, however, would make it more powerful than the Lamborghini Urus, which, given that both companies fall under the VW Group umbrella, seems unlikely

Besides, Audi has teased the production SQ8 with the Q8 Sport Concept that was powered by a mild hybrid powertrain consisting of a 443hp 3

0-liter V6 TFSI hooked up with a 27hp electric motor, offering a total of 469hp (476PS) and 516lb-ft (700Nm) of torque – something that seems more plausible

The car will feature the brand's 48-volt electrical architecture and a small lithium-ion battery pack mounted under the boot

The SQ8's V6 engine is also expected to feature an electric compressor along with a traditional turbocharger, a technology that has debuted already in the SQ7 that is is powered by a diesel ICE

Since this powertrain is already available, there's a chance Audi will offer the SQ8 with the SQ7's diesel engine as well – at least in Europe

The prototype pictured here carries the TDI badge on the tailgate, but that could be a distraction instead of an indicator of what's hiding under the bonnet

On the outside, the SQ8 is distinguished by the more aggressive bumper design that features bigger air inlets at the front, lowered suspension, larger alloys, deeper side sills and quad exhausts

Sporty touches in the tech-laden cabin will include a flat-bottom steering wheel, bucket seats and more vivid color options to set the tone for the upcoming performance SUV

Eventually, the new hybrid petrol powertrain will find its way to more Audi models, including the A6, A7 and A8, and maybe even the Q7
