 Susanna went on the show to speak about hers and Piers' new show, Good Evening Britain, which is a one off programme looking at the country's reaction to the World Cup

 She did her best to promote the show, but was forced into discussing her TV husband more than she would have liked as the boys kept asking her to talk about him

 Tim asked: "Your career was going so well then two years ago they decided to put Piers Morgan next to you

"  Susanna giggled as she went to answer the question, saying: "Whatever your think about him, everybody loves to talk about him and that's not a bad thing for a television show

"  Tim jumped in: "At five past six you've already got Piers ranting about something

"  The GMB host replied: "People often praise me for my restraint, no jury will convict

"  She tried to steer the conversation back to the show by explaining it would be Danny Dyer and Jeremy Corbyn to join them in the studio

  But Tim was not to be moved from his favourite topic, as he asked: "Will Piers have the guts to have a go against Danny Dyer about Love Island ?"  Susanna answered: "That's the jeopardy, isn't it?"  The conversation moved off the topic of Piers - at least for a while - before Tim brought it back when he had more questions for the morning TV host

 He said: "When he goes off on one, what is going through your mind?"  Susanna was ready with a quick reply to his query, saying: "My zen is in full mode - he says what lots and lots of people are speaking

 "Sometimes I'm fighting a losing battle."  Fans were not keen on Tim's line of questioning, wondering why the team at Sunday Brunch didn't get Piers on himself as they enjoyed talking about him so much

 Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid, 47, was grilled on her co-star Piers Morgan, 53, on today's Sunday Brunch

 The mum-of-three joined Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer on the Channel 4 show to promote her one-off show Good Evening Britain, but was asked repeatedly about her controversial TV hubby
