Jeep's electric future FCA announces 5 year plan - Duration: 3:48.

This is a gas Jeep not an electric what am I thinking

Do you know what this is? You're gonna need to know soon FCA just unveiled their

five-year plan and it's got all to do with electricity. Welcome back my name is

Brandon Haneline your Jeep Informant if this is your first time here and you

want to know more about Jeeps you're in the right place. Today I'm standing

behind a substation.Why am i standing behind a substation because FCA just

announced their five year unveiling plan which has all to do with electricity

FCA stated they're going to be investing

10.5 billion dollars electrifying their Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo

and Maserati brands they talked about a midsize pickup truck being electric and a

third row Grand Cherokee being electric also a Maserati midsize crossover. Now

they did previously talk a little bit about Dodge Chrysler and Fiat they're

gonna remove Fiat from North America. They're going to remove Chrysler from

the rest of the world. They're gonna leave it in North America and then Dodge

they're just not putting a lot of money in the Dodge Brand. They're gonna

keep it but they're just not putting a lot into it. Now the diesel they are

phasing out the diesel by 2021 in Europe okay it is staying in North

America so Europe you are losing passenger car diesels.

Okay all diesels will be going and passenger cars they're just gonna start

facing that out 2021 is that deadline. Now did state that they are going to be

electrifying all of their vehicles in some way you will have an option for

electricity whether it be hybrid whether it be plug-in hybrid or whether it be

fully electric now a lot of people don't like it and I understand why but it's

just the way that they have to go due to the government regulations it's being

full electric. Manley stated that in three-and-a-half years by 2022 14 Jeep

products will have some form of electricity to it. Now Jeep also did

state that there's gonna be bringing out the third row Grand Cherokee which you

know it's kind of like the Durango also they're bringing back the Wagoneer and

the Grand Wagoneer so glad to hear that and we kind of knew that but now it's

official now they did state that 10 of these Jeep vehicles are gonna be plug-in

hybrids and four of them are gonna be all electric. They are discussing

autonomous stuff and they are moving forward with autonomous vehicles I will

go into more than that on a different video. Today I'm just kind of letting you

know what the five-year unveiling was about now they did talk a little bit

about having a smaller Jeep like this that's smaller than the renegade okay

I'm assuming that's going to be one of the the fully electric vehicles and then

also they talked about a larger Jeep than the Grand Cherokee which I'm

assuming that's gonna be the Grand Wagoneer. Guys thank you so much for

Marchionne ha annunciato anche una variante Giardiniera (cioè "allungata") della 500 - che potrebbe quindi diventare una - e la possibilità di "ampliare il successo della Fiat Panda con una motorizzazione ecologica"

As expected, Sergio Marchionne's last five-year plan as head of Fiat Chrysler will broaden the Jeep range, and push the brand into more market segments than ever before

At investor conference in Balocco, Italy, the Italian-American company has confirmed it wants to build a long-rumoured A/B-segment Jeep to slot in underneath the Renegade, which is currently the smallest Jeep and measures 4

23 metres long. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Jeep has recommitted itself to building a new range-topping model to be sold under the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer names

Just as importantly the brand also plans on having new versions of the Renegade, Cherokee, and Grand Cherokee on the market by 2022

Both the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee will seemingly be available in both two- and three-row formats

Also listed in the product roadmap is an updated version of the recently released Compass, as well as a new "Jeep Truck", most likely referring to the ute variant of the latest-generation Wrangler
