Crochet Bow Tie For Mini Wedding Bears - Duration: 4:56.
hi guys welcome back this is part three of the wedding accessories for the mini
crochet bear in this video we're making a little bow tie if this is the first
time you've seen one of these videos there is a playlist that will walk you
through all the steps of making this bear in all the accessories that go with
it and that playlist is popping up on your screen it's a little circle there
you can click that if you don't see a circle there look in the description box
below and the playlist is there to make a little bow tie ever of course using
black yarn but I'm going to show you how to do it using this cream colored yarn
because black doesn't show up so well on film those of you who struggle using
black yarn I would suggest sitting in front of a window that has lots of light
or use a lamp and put that right over your stitches and that should help you
get through it I'm using the same hook that I've been using all along and
that's a 4.25 millimeter hook and again I'm using a bobby pin to attach my
bowtie to the bear if you don't have a bobby pin of course you can just sew the
bow tie right to the bear and I'm also using a blunt and your needle if you
don't need help with the crocheted rose there is a free written pattern that
could be printed off and that link is popping up on your screen
alright guys grab your crochet hook and let's get started alright so Row one
chain eleven so make your slip knot yarn over and pull through eleven times
there's our chain of 11 and starting in the second chain from the hook there's
the first one starting in the second one we're gonna single crochet across the
chain
at the end of row two and now we have ten stitches across chain one and turn
Row 3 is one single crochet in each one of those 10 stitches and we're gonna be
skipping the chain that we just made so we start in the first stitch of the row
and in this row work the starting yarn tail into the first three stitches so
I'm gonna show you how to do that put your hook through hold this starting
here and tail over your hook there's one two we're crocheting around that
starting yarn tail
and that just saves us from having to weave it in at the end okay
we're gonna cut it free but just give it a little tug so we know that it's pulled
up to the end and now we can cut it free be careful not to cut any of your
working yarn alright now we'll continue on one single crochet to the end all
right guys I just made it across now we're going to join the ends it's a
chain one hold the ends together and now we're going to slip stitch across the
edge we're going to put two of them in so just go through the first loop just
pick up a loop and then the other loop on the other side pull yarn through and
through and then through now push your hook through the next loop and we're
doing it this way to keep it from getting too thick on the ends now push
your hook through the next loop pull the yarn through and through and then
through and there we go we're all done now we're going to break free leave a
tail that you can use to wind up the middle
it's red your urine tail with your urine needle before we continue on with the
next step okay open it up and then fold it with the joined edges in the center
in the back and now we're going to wrap around the middle really tight creating
a bow
just like that okay and now we're going to bring our yarn needle through
anywhere so we can knot off I'll just pick a little bit of yarn close by pull
through and before we pulling all the way through go back go through that loop
and pull tight now we're going to weave in the yarn tail just bring it through
anywhere and out and just stretch out either corner because it might be a
little bit bunched up and do it on both sides I just grabbed it with my
fingernails and pull so to attach it to the bear I'm just gonna use a bobby pin
again don't use stick pins because they can put someone at risk of injury just
push it through a little bit of yarn and that's it all right you know to attach
it this one is gonna have to go down into the body and not behind of course
because the bobby pins too long it'll just stick out the other end and there
we go alright guys that brings us to the end of this video so part 4 will be the
hat as soon as it's available it will be popping up on your screen thanks so much
for watching and we'll see you super soon

How to do a Roll In on a Quarter Pipe (Mini Ramp Trick Tutorial) [2018] - Duration: 4:28.
Hi, my name is Justin Lauria, and today I'm going to show you how to do a roll in on a
quarter pipe.
Now, the easiest and safest way to start a run from the top of a quarter pipe is to rest
your tail on the deck like this and drop in, but if you start to get bored of doing it
that way and you want to start your run with a little extra style, you can do a roll in
instead.
As you learn this trick, take your time with each practice step and try not to progress
too quickly, since while it's certainly possible to fail at it without getting hurt, you'll
be dropping from a little bit higher than you're used to, and if you don't fall properly,
you could sustain an injury.
However, if you skate mostly within your ability level and slowly push your boundaries as you
progress, you should be able to handle the new challenges without any problem.
Alright, so now, to get started, first you want to make sure that you're extremely comfortable
rolling off of curbs and ledges.
For a video covering that topic, you can click the link above or in the description below.
A really useful practice step for roll-ins is to practice rolling off of a curb with
a little bit of a lip on it, like this one has.
This is similar to what you're going to be rolling over at the top of a quarter pipe,
so practice keeping your front wheels in the air and make sure to take the weight off
of your back wheels and give them a really good nudge just as they come into contact
with the bump at the end so your board doesn't get stuck.
Once you're comfortable with rolling off of a curb, you can move on to the second practice
step, which you'll perform on a flat ramp.
For this practice step, rather than just rolling over the top of the ramp like you normally
would, try to simulate what it would be like if the ramp was a quarter pipe instead.
So as you approach the top corner of the ramp, lift your front wheels up like before and
nudge your back wheels over the edge with enough force to send them into the air as
they roll over it.
Once the back wheels have cleared the top edge, slam both sets of wheels down onto the
slanted part of the ramp and lean forward enough to compensate for the fact that the
angle of the ground you're rolling on has changed dramatically.
Once you get the hang of doing this, you can start to approach the ramp at an angle, with
your back facing the bottom of the ramp, and turn into the maneuver with a frontside rotation
like this.
Not only is it rare to find a mini ramp with a deck long enough for you to approach straight
on, but it'll also be easier for you to land more towards the top of the ramp if you reduce
the amount of momentum you have in this direction as you enter the move.
Some people prefer to approach roll ins from the other side and use a backside rotation
like this, but in my opinion, the frontside rotation is easier, so I would recommend starting
with that one first.
If you're able to find an obstacle at your skatepark that looks like this, it's going
to be another really good way to practice your roll ins, as it'll help you get used
to the feeling of rolling off of the edge of something, having your wheels go into the
air, and then landing on a steeper incline.
Once you're feeling confident that you have the motion down on flat ramps, it's time to
take it to a quarter pipe.
As you roll slowly alongside the coping in preparation to do the trick, start to lean
your body toward the inside of the ramp like you would if you were doing a frontside carve
in a bowl.
This will help redirect your momentum in the right direction and put you in the mindset
of being on the inside of the ramp before you actually send your board over the edge.
Just like you did on the flat ramp, hold your front wheels up and give your back wheels
a nudge right as they come into contact with the coping to help them get over the bump
without getting stuck.
Once your back wheels are clear, slam all four wheels down on the inside part of the
ramp and roll to the bottom, leaning forward and keeping your eyes focused on where you're
heading rather than down at the board.
If you've been on the fence about trying this move out, I hope this video gives you the
confidence and the information you need to go ahead and give it a shot, because once
you get it, you'll see that it's really fun and also it opens up a lot of opportunities
for tricks you'll be able to do in the future.
Make sure to like the video and share it with a friend if you think they could learn something
from it and as usual guys, never stop improving.

Marinated Mini Sweet Peppers Recipe - Duration: 3:48.
Hey everyone, it's Natasha of Natashaskitchen.com and today we're making
marinated mini bell peppers. These are so easy and they always disappear fast.
There's no seating, no slicing, no dicing, and they can be made ahead, so they're
perfect for parties. We'll start with one and a half pounds of mini bell peppers.
Rinse and pat dry the peppers then drizzle with half a Tbsp of olive oil
and toss to coat. Grill the peppers over medium-low heat about two minutes
per side or five to six minutes total. You want to see the brown grill marks
start to form and you're really just softening them at this point. You can
saute them on a skillet until they're golden but keep in mind they do splatter
a little bit more on the stovetop so use a splatter guard. Transfer those to a
bowl and set them aside to cool while you make your marinade. I just love the
sweet smoky flavor of grilled bell peppers. To make the marinade, combine one
cup of cold water, 1 and 1/4 cups of white vinegar, 6 Tbsp of sugar 2 Tbsp
of sea salt and 6 minced garlic cloves. Stir that together until
the sugar and salt dissolve. Now finely chop 1 small bunch of fresh parsley.
You can use either flat leaf parsley or the curled Italian style.
Now finely chop 1 bunch of fresh dill. I'm usually using equal parts of parsley
and dill but if you have more dill or more parsley, it'll still work great.
Now we're ready to put everything together. In a half gallon jar or similar
container add half of your fresh herbs to the bottom, then tightly pack in all
of your peppers. Add your marinade, top with the remaining herbs and any leftover
marinade. Take a moment to admire your beautiful peppers then marinate for 24
hours in the refrigerator before serving. I just happen to have some marinating in
the fridge overnight already so we're gonna go right into the taste test and I
cannot wait. And we love serving these with mashed potatoes. It is the best
flavor combination, I'm telling you. These are always a hit at parties. They
disappear fast so it's smart to make a double batch. I'll just tell you that
right now - you've been warned. Okay, here we go.
Mmm-hmm... Wow! These will make your taste buds dance.
They are so flavorful each one is delicious and putting them on the grill
like that adds a smoky sweetness to them that is just irresistible. I love that
these have this great garden feel to them. They're loaded with fresh parsley
and dill. These are so good, they're kind of old-school but seriously fantastic
and a keeper of a recipe. This recipe has been a family favorite for a long time
and it was inspired by a recipe by my friend Natalia
from Momsdish.com. So thank you so much for sharing this goodness with all of us.

Crochet Your Own Mini Bear Part 1 Head - Duration: 12:47.
hi guys welcome to part 1 of how to crochet your own mini bear this is the
same pattern used for the wedding bears there's a number of videos in this bear
pattern so there is a playlist and you can find that link up here to be popping
up on your screen if you don't see it there look in the description box below
there's an introduction video for this pattern as well in that video I show you
what we need to make the bear so if you haven't seen that already please view
that and that will also be popping up on your screen this is part 1 in part 1
we're making the muzzle first I'm going to show you how to add the nose to the
muzzle and then we're going to crochet the head from rows 1 to the end of row 9
those of you who don't need any help with the crocheted rows please refer to
the written pattern those of you crocheting along with me grab your
crochet hook and let's get started alright my friends I'm going to show you
how to do the muzzle first because we're gonna be sewing this muzzle onto the
head before we're finished making the head so we're gonna make the muzzle set
it aside and they'll be ready for us when we're ready to sew it on so the way
we do the muzzle is exactly the same way we start the head I will show you here
you'll see muzzle Row 1 is a loop with six stitches row two is two single
crochets in each one of those six stitches and then the head is the exact
same thing Row 1 is a loop of six stitches and then Row two is two single
crochets in each one of those six stitches so I'll go very slowly over at
Row one and you'll just watch what I'm doing and then pause the video and try
it yourself take the shorter yarn tail I'm gonna wrap it around these two
fingers twice then I'll hold that yarn tail between my pinky and my thumb and
then hold the working yarn in between my pinky and my thumb I'm gonna insert my
hook and bring it to the back I want to pull this yarn here underneath these two
strings now I have a loop on my hook I'm gonna grab the yarn one more time and
pull it through that loop on my hook and that just created a slipknot now I can
take it off my fingers and get ready to crochet on I'm gonna put six single
crochets into this ring going through the ring each time I go through grab the
yarn and pull it through the ring now I have two
loops on my hook grab the yarn and pull it through those two loops and there was
one single crochet now we're going to repeat that five more times going
through the ring grab the yarn and pull it through the ring you have two loops
grab the yarn pull it through those two loops and there was two and three and
four
five and last one six we put six single crochets into that ring and now they're
called stitches and you can see the V's of the stitches there will be six of
them count six V's all the way across now we need to close up this ring so I'm
gonna hold that slip knot in between my finger in my thumb and I'm gonna pull on
one of these two strings and see which one will close up this ring it's not
that one so I know it's the next one pulling up from our finger and our thumb
pull it all the way and then we have another loop we need to get rid of we're
gonna pull on the starting yarn tail give it a little wiggle
there's our row one with six stitches so we can count those just pull out your
last stitch they don't lose it underneath that big loop you can see the
V there's one two three four five and six so every stitch has two loops in it
so when you go through you want to make sure you're going through both loops of
the stitch see both loops there every time you go through you're going through
both loops so let's get ready for row two the starting yarn tail we can work into
the second row to hide it you don't want to cut this up too short because you'll
end up with a hole in your stuffy so just leave it hanging or work it into
Row two Row two is two single crochets and each one of those six stitches I'm
going through grab the yarn and pull it through and there was one now we're
gonna go back in the same stitch and do another one and there's two
that was two single crochets into the first stitch now we're gonna go into the
second stitch go through
now we're gonna go back in the same stitch we were just in and make another
single crochet okay so I want to hide that starting here and tell that you can
see there's a bit of a gap there it doesn't really matter because we're
gonna be putting a nose here but if you wanted to close up that gap you can just
pull on that starting yarn tail it'll make that gap a little bit smaller okay
so now we're gonna go into the third stitch this time we're gonna pick up the
starting yarn tail and hold it over our hook and crochet is normal grab your
yarn pull it through and there's one single crochet now going back in the
third stitch again and make another single crochet going into the fourth
stitch now going through hold the starting yarn tail over the hook and
crochet around it there was one and two going into the fifth stitch now one and
two and now into the last stitch of the row number six two single crochets and
we're all done row two and now we can cut free that starting yarn tail make
sure you're not the cut any of your working yarn
so now we're done the muzzle we want to finish it off by evening up this edge
here so we're gonna make a slip stitch so in the next stitch we're gonna slip
stitch you're gonna go through grab the yarn pull it through instead of your
earning over just pull the first loop through the second loop and that just
gives a nicer finish there now we're going to finish off pull out your last
stitch don't lose it break free leave a yarn tail long enough
to stow the muzzle to the head pull that yarn tail through that loop and pull it
tight so this is the front side of the muzzle and this is the back side this
side will be sewn against the face so now we can add the nose so we're gonna
use your needle I'm just using a blunt and your needle
and a length of yarn you can use embroidery thread as well bend it over
and push the bend through coming from the back of the muzzle to the front
bring my yarn needle through bring one yarn tail through and leave the other
one in the back I'm just gonna make a line across the top and I'm gonna come
through the center hole of row one coming through the center pull it
through am I gonna make a B it's gonna go on the beginning of that line going
back down
coming up should a center hole again
finish off that be there we go and now we just have to fill in the middle I'm
gonna go right across the middle and over the top of that line okay and I'm
gonna bring it through underneath I'm just gonna make this some line here and
then back down at the bottom of that B and that's it now we can just knock this
off in the back okay and I'm gonna cut that up shorter there we go it's all
ready to be sewn onto the feet so now we have to go ahead and make the head
I've already jumped ahead and made my first two rows so Row one was a loop of
six stitches and then Row two is two single crochets in each one of those six
stitches so it's exactly the same way as this except for you don't slip stitch at
the end of row two so go ahead and pause the video make your two rows and then
come on back here and we'll start off with Row three
alright welcome back now that you have your two rows you will need a marker
from here on out so I just use a piece of yarn of a different color just
remember if you use a yarn marker it can be pulled out along the way so you have
to keep that in mind so here's my two rows I have 12 stitches
around my starting yarn tail is hanging there and I'm just gonna leave it
hanging there I can tuck it into the head when I'm done and I'm gonna add my
marker I'm gonna go through the last stitch I just put in remember we're at
the end of Row 2 so you add a marker at the end of every row I'm gonna pull the
one strand through and leave the other one hanging and that's what I'll move
every time I'm finished a row so Row 3 is one single crochet in the first
stitch and then two single crochets into the second and then we repeat that all
the way around one in the first two in the second repeat one in the first two
in a second all the way around when you land on this marker you should be
putting in two single crochets so let's do the first set together one single
crochet in the first and now two single crochets into the second one and back in
for two and then repeat that one single crochet in the first and now two single
crochets into the second and so you just keep repeating that all the way around
alright guys so I just sped up the room I'm coming to the end here so one single
crochet in the next and you can see two is gonna line up marker so I'll pull it
out and put in two single crochets and that's the end of Row three and now we
have 18 stitches around and if you're unsure it's a good idea to count your
stitches make sure you still have 18 and then move your marker go into that last
stitch pull it through row four is one single crochet in the first two stitches
and then two single crochets into the third and then repeat that one one two
one one two all the way around when you land on the marker you'll be putting in
two single crochets one single crochet in the first one single crochet in the
second and then two single crochets into the third stitch going back in the same
stitch and there's two and then just gonna keep repeating you're gonna pause
the video and we'll meet back here when we land on the record
all right so we're all finished row four and now we have 24 stitches around
and if your piece is folding up on itself which is completely normal
sometimes you'll see something happen like this this is the wrong side and
this is the right side so if you don't stop and turn it it'll keep folding up
on itself and pretty soon you'll be working inside out then just make sure
that you're working on the right side always
all right so rows 5 through 9 is one single crochet in each one of those 24
stitches for five rows so you're gonna move this marker five times and you're
gonna put one single crochet in each one of those 24 stitches so the first row
that I do always count in my head as I go along so when I land on this marker
if I've counted to 24 then I know that I've got the right stitch count all
right guys so now you can pause the video and meet me back here when you're
finished row 9 remember you're gonna move this marker 5 times and I will show
you how to count rows if you've lost track and I'll also show you what to do
if your stitch count is a little bit out of whack just make sure you have 24
stitches every time you land on this marker alright guys that brings us to
the end of this video part 2 should be popping up on your screen and if you
don't see it there look in the description box below I'll meet you over
in the next video

Crochet Your Own Mini Bear Introduction - Duration: 1:56.
hi guys welcome back today we're gonna crochet this mini bear there's a number
of videos in this pattern and each video will take you over a section of the
pattern there's also videos to show you how to do the accessories to turn them
into a bride and groom that playlist is found up here you just click that little
link that's popping up on your screen if you don't see a little circle there look
in the description box below and the playlist is there and right about now
there should be another little circle popping up on your screen that will take
you to that written pattern you can print this off for free so if you don't
need help with the crocheted rows there's no need to watch the videos you
can just refer to the written pattern and I'm using worsted weight yarn this
is a red heart comfort yarn it's a 10-play wonderful yarn to make a
amigurumi's with for my friends in the UK i know you can't get this in your local
stores so the yarn that you would want to get most similar to this one is Aran
yarn you can use any hook size you want but to get similar size to this bear
here I'm using a 4.25 millimeter hook you can also use a 4 millimeter if you
don't have one of these if you use the same yarn and hook size that I did then
you should get a bear about four and a half inches tall you're gonna need a
blunt end yarn needle and this is for sewing I don't know the exact size I
just know has nice big eyelet for the yarn and a blunt end you could use any
size you want to the ones I've used for this bear are a nine millimeter alright
my friends have you never crocheted anything before then you'll want to go
to part one and that should be popping up on your screen it's a little box you
can click that if you don't see a box there look in the description box below
go to the playlist and find part one I'll meet you over there
