Last week, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake wreaked havoc in Alaska, just north of Anchorage, the state's most populous city

Thankfully, there were no fatalities, but the infrastructure got hit pretty badly

Significant damages to bridges, roads and buildings were reported. The following video will give you an idea of how destructive Mother Earth's power is – and how little that matters for the Jeep CJ-7

You see, the Wrangler's ancestor doesn't need roads or actual infrastructure to get where it wants to go

So when the driver of this blue CJ-7 reached a stretch of road that the earthquake had destroyed, it was just a minor inconvenience

Although one bystander was heard saying "no way dude" and a child screamed "don't do it," the driver took the classic Jeep straight through the mix of broken asphalt blocks and dirt

Crossing one obstacle at a time, the CJ-7 and its driver made it to the other end of the road safe

While they made it look so easy, it certainly wasn't.Judging by the massive off-road tires, the front-mounted winch and the lack of hesitation from the driver, this pair has probably tackled worse off-road trails than this one

On a side note, the Jeep's driver did take a risk by driving over the recently collapsed road

A sinkhole could have formed underneath and the weight of the car would have been enough to destabilize the asphalt blocks and send them all into the pit
