Hey everybody I'm Debs, I am a BMW Genius her for Hendrick BMW

in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina and this…

this is the brand new BMW X7

(Upbeat music plays)

The BMW X7 is the newest addition in a long line of luxury SUVs and it is also the largest for BMW

With unrivaled power and boundless luxury packed in over 16 feet of German engineering,a new level of ordinary is here

The exterior of the new X7 puts that luxurious BMW style on display in a major way.

The all new redesigned kidney grills are complimented by the new adaptive LED headlights.

Now, the largest SUV in the fleet has to have the right wheels.

Standard on all models are 21 inch wheels in various styles with the option to upgrade to the bigger, 22 inch wheels.

The back of the X7 keeps up with the new BMW styling with the LED tail lights and powered split tailgate.

To top it all off, driving comfort is brought to you by the standard two-axle air suspension system with adjustable height for easier entry and loading.

The incredible interior of the new X7 will leave you speechless.

From the standard heated front seats, panoramic glass roof and sky lounge

down to the ultra-modern controls

the atmosphere of elegance really makes you feel like you are in the lap of luxury.

You can take your interior to the next level by customizing it with BMW Individual.

Upgrading your seats to the finest leather, exclusive colors and beautiful trims… all chosen by you.

The second row comes standard with bench seating which gives your seating for 7.

You can upgrade to the captain's chairs which will give you seating for 6.

The third row really shows you how much interior space you get in the new X7.

Normally most SUVs have stadium seating where the head room is sacrificed to fit the seats

not the case in the new X7.

Now enough about the looks, let's talk about the tech!

Standard is the name of the game.

Well, BMW made safety a focal point with the all new X7 giving everyone that owns it, peace of mind.

With features like, driver alertness system, active blind spot, lane departure and rear cross-traffic alert… all standard

it's easy to see that BMW not only cares about their image

but the people and families that love their brand

Thank you everyone for joining us in unveiling the brand new BMW X7

It's been a total pleasure.

If any of you have any sort of questions, or you just want to see this beautiful beast in person

2019 BMW X5 review: O.G. dog, new tricks - Duration: 6:37.

2019 BMW X5 review: O.G. dog, new tricks

I want to call the 2019 X5's styling derivative, but the only design it's 'borrowing' is its

own.

The front end may have slightly thinner lights and a more hunkered-down look than before,

but it looks largely the same as the X5 it replaces -- save for the grille, which has

continued to swell like a dying star.

Things are a bit different at the rear, where BMW's new corporate taillights give the X5

a bit more dimension.

I mean that literally -- the taillights have some very nice 3D characteristics that help

to break up what would otherwise be monotony 'round back.

My tester's 20-inch wheels add to the SUV's looks, but not without tacking an extra $600

onto the price tag.

The interior is laid out in a straightforward manner.

Don't get me wrong, there are loads of buttons in here, but they're grouped together sensibly

-- all the climate controls are next to each other, while everything related to driving

is down by the shifter.

It doesn't take me long to commit most of these positions to memory, making it easy

to change settings on the fly.

My major gripe here is storage -- aside from the center armrest cubby, which isn't very

large, there aren't many places to cram things, which could be an issue if this is a family-first

vehicle.

The first tech-related bits you'll probably notice in the X5 are its screens.

The standard 12.3-inch gauge display and 12.3-inch infotainment screen are both large and in

charge.

I am not the biggest fan of the gauge cluster's "map," which really only works when navigation

directions are turned on, since the roads aren't labeled.

Otherwise, I do appreciate that all the relevant information is displayed prominently on either

side, and the colors and layout change depending on the mode, which is a nice touch.

Sport and Comfort modes get red motifs, while Eco Pro turns the whole thing blue.

The latest iteration of BMW's iDrive works well, with a home screen that displays most

of the relevant information by default.

Being able to jump between touching the screen and using the physical dial below is appreciated.

That said, there are loads of menus and options on there, which can be daunting at first.

Changing certain things, like the optional head-up display's brightness, requires diving

through several menus, which can be awfully distracting.

Apple CarPlay is included, but BMW charges a subscription for it, which is stupid.

You get the first year free, at least.

My tester also packs BMW's optional gesture control, a feature I think is frivolous and

actually detrimental from a distraction standpoint.

Yet, it's part of a $2,050 Premium Package that includes things like wireless device

charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot and a surround-view camera system, so I think the package is worth

it, even if you never once attempt to change the volume by swirling your finger around

like Harry Potter's wand.

Fans of cable-based charging will be excited to see USB-C

衝撃映像!愛車のBMW M4が猛獣のエサに😫 考えられない大事件発生!?リアルに怖い!Wild Animal Destroys My BMW M4! - Duration: 10:03.

I've never seen anything like this before!

My car was eaten alive!

Look at this!!

What the hell happened???

WTF!?!?

I know I said I didn't like this car very much, but....

The lease is up!!!! OMG

I drove this for 3 years and not 1 issue until this!

What the hell happened ?!?!?

Hi Everyone.. I'm Steve with Steve's POV

Something really bad happened!

Last night in the middle of the night I thought I heard some noises outside...

But I was really tired and went back to sleep....

and its been raining here a lot in Los Angeles too....

so whatever I heard last night was drowned out by the sound of the rain...

a little bit ago I decided to go outside and check on things...

and something really bad happened!

Last time I had to use an umbrella was in Japan!

We never use umbrellas in Los Angeles! lol

For people used to the rain this may be nothing, but for us here this is a lot of rain!!

Look!

Look at this!!

When I came out this morning this is what my car looked like!!

I thought maybe someone tried to break into it last night...

but that isn't what happened!

Look at this!!

OMG!

WTF!

I am 48 years old and have never seen anything like this in my life!

I thought Ive seen just about everything, until this!

WTF?!?!

My BMW M4 got eaten last night!

Look at those claw marks...

There are chewed up plastic parts all over the place!

The whole rocker panel was ripped off!!!!

Things were out of control here last night!

There are wires everywhere... OMG

What the heck could have caused this?!?!?!

I've been thinking about this a bit...

at first I thought someone just came and vandalized my car....

but I don't think most vandals would actually gnaw on the car too?!?!?

they might break the windows and scratch the car, but eat the front bumper?? I don't think so...

This is the Los Angeles suburbs, so there is a lot of natural space and a lot of nocturnal animals around....

So the more I think about what could have caused this....

Raccoons....

Bobcats...

Mountain Lions...

there are definitely mountain lions around here...

Coyotes too!!

and of course there are pretty of mice and rats too....

My theory is a rat or something got up into the car somehow...

Then a pack of coyotes or something came to get that animal...

when they couldn't get it, they started eating and destroying my car to get to it!

They tried to get in from here too!

there are claw marks and bite marks too!!

the fender is scratched up and dented all over too!

How powerful was the animal(s) to be able to rip the side completely off???

I can't even break this thing....

I'm thinking coyotes...

I don't think a raccoon can cause this much damage??

I know I've said I don't like this car very much, but WTF!?!?

but this is a lease and I got to turn it back in in 2 weeks!!!!

I can't believe this happened!!!

I guess that's what insurance is for.... lol

But I'm still in shock!

I need to figure out what caused this... it's driving me nuts!

My car is just sitting quietly by itself at night...

and suddenly it is attacked for no reason!

It doesn't make sense, right?

There has to be a reason...

why did it happen to my car??

So I am going with the theory that a small animal got into the car...

and a big animal then followed to get him...

the mouse was way up inside the car and the large animal was determined to get him!

that lead the animal(s) to start tearing the car apart to get that mouse!

I am not sure but I'm about to open the hood to try and find out...

I wonder what we're going to find...

this is a little scary...

ahh haa....

it looks like a mouse or rat was living up in here!

There is rat/mouse poo in here...

The rodent was living in here!!

What the heck!?!?!

I think my theory was right...

a mouse or rat was up inside the engine bay...

a large animal or pack of animals came by and heard the mouse inside here...

But here is what I cant understand...

I drive this car everyday... I drove it and parked it yesterday before this happened!

Was the mouse in here while I was driving too???

No way!

More likely he got in here last night for the first time... but???

I'm not sure...

Let's check this nest out...

What is this material in here???

What did he make this nest out of??

I hope the rodent still isn't in here!!

I wonder what this material is and where it came from???

He was dug in here pretty deep!

But what is this material he chewed up???

Maybe he's still under this plastic cover!?!?!

I hope he isn't... lol

what is this stuff??

Very perplexing...

Is this an air filter? some heat shielding??

It really has me thinking now!!

How much damage is not visible by the naked eye???

Now I gotta get the insurance company involved... and body shops, etc....

What a pain the ass!!

I drove this car for 3 years without any issues....

and in my last 2 weeks of ownership this happens!

Terrible timing!!!

But nothing I can do other than deal with it now!!

Is BMW Better Than Audi? - Duration: 14:45.

so you're shopping for a BMW or an Audi you want a premium German sedan or a

coupe I'm gonna share with you why you probably want to buy a BMW before you

buy the out welcome back to the channel everybody mark with exotic cars lately

the pros and cons of both brands and what would make you decide to pick one

or the other we're gonna compare all the major facets of each car brand and then

you can make a decision at the end and I'm gonna explain to you what I believe

I would purchase and for what reason so first of all let's start with the

exterior styling of both cars of course when we talk about BMW if you look at a

lot of particularly the M cars the BMWs are a lot edgy ER there's a lot more

aggression going on there yeah sure Audi's a lot of times have the big open

spoilers and whatnot but BMW is a lot more prominent more big aggressive

spoilers more vents and generally speaking more creases and other accents

all over the car where the Audi generally is a little bit understated

great styling very attractive cars of course very beautiful in the Audi world

just slightly understated slightly more conservative unless you get into the

really aggressive models you know say for example an r8 or an RS 7 you're fine

gonna find yourself with a car that is a little bit more conservative than the

BMW now on styling I mean they both have benefits and we can talk about the fact

that they both have great unique body styles in in different versions I mean

they each bring something sort of unique and I'll give you some examples

howdy for example has the wonderful r8 the a7 RS 7 of course with that unique

unique back-end that style that chopped-off backend which kind of gives

a really unique style you know coupled that with the aggressive front spoiler

and of course one of my favorites in the Audi world is the TT RS which is an

extremely quick little car that I got a chance to review a couple of years back

I really loved it it's a sweetheart of an engine with that 2.5 liter

turbocharged five cylinder engine makes great sounds

and goes like there's no tomorrow so there's great cars where IOT in terms of

the styling the stout look and the aggression their BMW on the other hand

has some unique styling cars too such as the i8 e i3 and the m4 GTS which is a

hardcore diehard track wrecking machine the BMW first of all it has a very

high-quality interior fit and finish there's a lot of great materials

particularly in the upper scale versions like the M cars you get a lot of great

nice soft touch materials the switchgear is very nice high quality and overall it

gives a very very very sturdy feel to it that being said BMWs have a little bit

of an outdated look to them and honestly up until about 2018 here and now of

course the new restyle it's finally changed but a lot of the BMW still only

had analog gauges the old-school gauges and I know a lot of people a lot of you

guys you know don't hate me for it they're great I mean an analog gauge is

classic and of course it works better in bright sunlight however it's still the

old tech and Audi has moved massively ahead leaps and bounds several years

ahead at BMW you know the downside with the BMW interiors though unfortunately

now are you know the interiors you've get the linear dashboard which a lot of

people like it but in a lot of cases is slightly bland in my opinion as well as

also in my opinion the iDrive display the way that they stuck it right in the

middle of the dashboard tells me like it's more of an after effect an

afterthought they didn't really plan that one out very well you can't make it

go away it's fixed there it's situated and this is where it sort of puts you

behind puts BMW behind outtie in terms of you know outies technology

advancements and that moves us to Audi when we talk about Audie Brad versus the

BMW there's no question in my mind the Audi has the premium interior the

Tirion there's just something about it it's just a little bit

upscale from the BMWs the interior materials are a little bit nicer there's

even less use of cheaper plastics in certain spot they have a much better

interface system where you can either toggle between the dashboard right in

the gauge cluster or you can pop up the display in the middle of the dash but

the beauty is the middle of the dash you can make that thing disappear in a lot

of these Audi's nowadays so it doesn't become the eyesore that the BMW sort of

displays in the middle of the dash and that really moves us into the whole

discussion about the user interface the Audi one is definitely leagues ahead of

the iDrive system even though BMW sort of led the charge in terms of interfaces

you know way back when they first came out with their eye drive system they

were one of the first to come out with that type of concept and you know it was

just like Audi to basically take from that build on it and make it much better

it's a cleaner more easily operated system and of course it's just in

generally more advanced more refined than the BMWs and then we talk about

another one of the key ingredients and its performance where the BMW comes in

is the fact that BMW creates engines sort of unique for that car they they

design the engine based on what they want for that cars dynamics it's unique

its original and they really focus on that drivetrain they're more precise and

a lot of the engines and power trains coming into the BMW cars particularly

the M cars are in my mind a little bit more worked out in the sense of the

design the the delicacy and the performance the sound tends to come a

little bit more you know it tends to be a little sharper in the BMWs and you

want some examples how about the wonderful McLaren f1 with that glorious

v12 motor that they lent to McLaren that you know design in-house by BMW that was

still one of the best engines of all time as well as the e60 m5 now there's

arguments to be talked about reliability but in the sense of an engineering

masterpiece and this sounds and the 8,300 rpm redline that's

Formula One derived there's nothing like it

and so BMW there's no question in my mind creates drive trains that are the

primary focus of their car not the other way around now ollie on the other hand

you know because they steal a lot of the parts from the Volkswagen bin a lot of

the drive trains are a little bit more generic now that doesn't always mean

it's bad what that does mean is often the drive trains can be quite robust

well sorted and you'll have less issues generally speaking as well a lot of the

audi drive trains sounds spectacularly good how about the v8 r8 engine that is

an awesome drivetrain with that 4.2 liter v8 that they shoehorn in a lot of

their cars they've used them in the r8 and some of the you know the RS fours

you know are s5s things like that they've used that wonderful glorious 4.2

liter v8 which is not only reliable not only powerful but extremely great

sounding and a lot of fun to operate but it's not just about the 4.2 in OD

they also use some great engines like that two and a half litre five-cylinder

turbocharged engine that they shoehorn into some of their cars like the rs3 s

the TT RS as I mentioned before with that TT RS it is magnificently quick and

with a power-to-weight ratio that that car produces it is exceptionally fun to

drive and it's an awesome drivetrain that 2.5 litre as well engines that

you'll find in even some of the S models the turbocharged four-cylinder engine

that they share with the Volkswagen for example the 2-liter four-cylinder that

produces 300 horsepower that is a lot of power out of that displacement so great

technology there for sure shared between Volkswagen and Audi Oh both they have

wonderful rs7 that thing is phenomenally fast and up until the most recent m5

that thing would dominate over just about any luxury sedan on the market

with its performance and all-wheel drive sure handling capabilities it was just a

ruthless machine do everything for you the rs7 sure it

wasn't cheap but it did a lot of great things awesome machines and then we

talked about the last major topic street credibility you know Audi we talked

about some of the Audi's I think back to the you know the five thousands and the

five thousand turbos and all I can think it was honestly that's what comes to

mind so out up until they got into rallying really had nothing to talk

about in terms of their older cars they were

hideous they were disgusting they were unreliable and quite frankly

there was nothing about them made me want to buy an Audi back in the day

things have changed dramatically out he got their shit together and they finally

produced started producing some cars in the last decade or so that become

vehicles that you want to own performance machines they're more

attractive and of course they've got the Audi Quattro business so the all-wheel

drive has always been appealing where the BMW sort of lacks that that up until

a few years ago BMW couldn't match they didn't have all-wheel drive systems now

of course X drives and BMWs also are coming out with you know all-wheel drive

cars but still really other than the m5 you can't get all-wheel drive systems in

any of the em cars whereas the Audi's be a lot of the RS models they're all

all-wheel drive and you can enjoy that spectacular performance and you can

enjoy it all year round if you live in snowy conditions that being said when

you talk about street credibility BMW owns that they have a racing history

they were racing heritage and they also have they've been around a long time in

the 60s and the 70s and they've been producing performance cars since almost

the beginning of time hence their name ultimate driving machine that name sure

is a bit of a marketing ploy but there is definitely a lot of truth to it

so up until a few years ago honestly you sort of had to choose one or the other

you have to choose a BMW because you wanted the credibility you want the

bragging rights and you wanted that performance em engine or something along

those lines you would choose of Audi because you wanted all-wheel drive

systems that wonderful glorious Quattro system and a little bit of a performance

tuna to it as well well now in the recent years Howdy's up their game they

produced more and more performance based cars that are countering everything if

every other brand meantime BMWs been working on all-wheel drive systems to

bring that to the table to sort of meet already in the middle somewhere so now

the choice is more and more difficult between an Audi and a BMW you could sort

of have you know all-wheel drive at performance in either Brad for the most

part and so the choice really becomes yours which one do you like the bavarian

beast or do you like the Audi which honestly shares a lot of parts from the

Volkswagen parts bin and a lot of the parts are shared between many models

versus BMWs the engine is designed first and really the car is designed around

the engine whereas the Audi it's sort of the other way around they create the car

they market it and then they find a power plant that's consistent with

Volkswagen or Audi brand and shoehorn it in that car so the BMW like I said is a

little bit more of a focus on the performance whereas out it was a little

bit more focused on on luxury technology as well as of course a wonderful

all-wheel drive system so they both bring something to the table they are

both spectacularly great brands you have to make a choice for yourself now coming

to my selection what would I choose if I were to pick up

one of these brand new cars I'm out shopping for a new Audi or a new BMW or

new Benz of course as well well to be quite honest at this point in time I

think I'm going to be going for the BMWs and then

only because I love the engines and the drive trains in the current model

lineups in the EM cars in the BMWs I mean I've driven a lot of these cars now

I've driven some of the Audi's I've driven a lot of the Beemers and some of

the bends and honestly I can tell you the BMW still create a well sorted

high-performance drivetrain the M drives are exceptionally fun to drive the m5 is

just monstrously powerful and now with its all-wheel drive it matches the rs7

the m4 and the m3 are both great hot rods both driven both of them and the

fact that you can get them in a manual stick shift or the dual clutch

transmission is very appealing to me but that engine is just really really sharp

really Torquay really crisp and I have to say I love the M cars so either way

you can't go wrong but that's my selection so I really hope you enjoyed

the video everybody hope that shed some light for you at the end of the day many

choices many strokes for different folks of course everything brings something to

the table and of course we're all big boys here time to make its choice for

yourself and if you liked the video you make sure you give it a thumbs up of

course like share it with your friends and your

social media as well hit that little subscribe button down below

with the notification valve beside it lets you know when the next video shows

up thanks again everybody mark here signing out with exotic car playplace

we'll see you on the next one bye bye

BMW F11 520D with defective EGR | Schmiedmann Nordborg - Duration: 5:07.

One of today's projects in the workshop is a

BMW F11 520D - 2011 model.

The car had particulate filter faults - it said there was an issue with the particulate filter,

and the Check Engine light was on in the instrument cluster.

Our technician Henrik tested the car to diagnose the issue.

It turned out that the particulate filter was not faulty - a test is run on the particulate filter to controll the counterpressure

and how much counterpressure there is in front of the particulate filter.

The issue turned out to be a defective EGR valve, which we have dismounted - it is normally placed here at the front of the engine

- furthermore, there was a clogged intake manifold which is normally placed at the left side of the engine.

Here are the parts ready to be replaced.

The EGR valve we dismounted had a couple of different defects.

The vacuum damper that opens and closes was in bad condition

And this is the defective EGR valve.

In this project we mount a complete and used EGR valve with EGR cooler.

One of the issues linked to the EGR system

is a clogged intake system - here is the pipe that runs from EGR valve to the intake manifold.

You can see here how the intake manifold is clogged with soot.

The pipe is narrowed in and almost closed.

This gives the car decreased performance and bad fuel-economy.

And this is the pipe that runs to the intercooler, and it too is clogged with EGR soot.

The parts will be cleaned with a special machine that can clean the manifold and this pipe, so that it will be as new.

After the cleaning we will assemble everything back together and do a testdrive - then the customer will feel getting a completely new car back.

In the process of diagnosing and testing a car like this 520D

that has reported particulate filter error in the instrument cluster, and with a computer readout have airflow error, EGR error,

and the other errors, our tester is a crucial tool

to make a diagnosis and get the car running perfectly once more.

At all steps of the process we are looking at how high the counter pressure is in front of the particulate filter (even while we drive in the car).

It is very important that the particle pressure never is above 300 millibar at full acceleration,

which I am keeping an eye on now that the car gets full acceleration.

And it is keeping at great level - far beneath 150 millibar.

Another important factor is the engine temperature.

In order for the particulate filter to last a long time and the distance it is meant to,

the engine temperature must always be at the right levels.

This car has the right engine temperature as it rises rapidly

- after you have started the test drive - up to somewhere between 85 and 90 degrees celsius.

As we have explained earlier in the video, the EGR valve and the EGR cooler was replaced and the intake manifold cleaned.

All errors are now fixed, as no errors appears on the computer readout - the car is fixed and to be handed back to its owner.
