Mini Notebooks from Scraps - Ephemera for Junk Journals - Duration: 4:04.

Hi it's Susan. Welcome back to my channel. This is another episode of make-ahead

ephemera which is another way of saying little projects that I can work on in

between bigger projects and have them either completely finished or part way

finished so that when I'm ready to tuck them into a journal or a greeting card

or a gift for somebody they are ready or almost ready to go. So this one is about

notebooks. We've all done this we've seen lots of people do this. I think the first

person I saw do this was Rachel over at Roxy creations. But basically a notebook

is just another way to use up any of your offcuts that you have from other

projects that you have going around. So you can make them out of anything. I'm

trying to use up my scrapbook paper so I'm making some out of scrapbook pages

and I just put my little offcuts in here and so down the center with a fairly

long stitch. And so this you can see this is like the end of a page that I have

cut off I went ahead and before I even made the notebook I stitched around that

so it was ready to go then I just keep those like in a

stash and then when I want to make up some notebooks or I have some extra

pages to fit in the inside I do that. You can cut them all nice and even you can

have pages of different sizes and so you know it doesn't matter, the shape the

size of the notebooks. These are great little things to tuck inside your

journals. That's when I just left the flap a little longer to fold over.

I could put a closure on this I could do one of those little things that you

would tuck inside and you know later. So you can have these all ready and then you

can decorate them later. Like I might have a little collage that I want to put

on this guy maybe like that. That would work. You can take old book pages, this is

something else that I saw Rachel at Roxy creations do, you know, have a bunch of

book pages already that are glued together that you can do with things. If

you fold those in half you have a little notebook put your papers on the inside

and then maybe oh I guess that's what I was them thinking about the collage.

It's better on there yeah. There we go. It's better on there. You can even take a

little piece of fabric and put on the edge, but you know, you can do that to

customize it on the journal that it's going to go into. But

you could have this notebook made up ahead of time. One of the other make-aheads.

We made some of these little journaling spots that are folded like

this. Well really that's what turned into a notebook. It's the same thing. You have

the journaling piece or add some paper and you have a notebook. That's what I

did with this one here. This was one of my journaling cards that our journaling

things that had been covered with the napkin and then I just put some paper

inside. I mean easy peasy. There's another one out of scrapbook

paper. If you don't have any of that other stuff this is just a regular index

card with some paper on the inside. That's a little notebook. Then later on

maybe you add some fabric and some lace. You could ink around the edges. You could

wrap that all the way around and dress that up but you don't have to worry

about at the time. If this is just sitting around on your table make up

some notebooks. This one is made with greeting card. Oh not greeting card.

Wrapping paper and I had a whole bunch of this orange copy paper to use up and

then I just add a little note I put a little decoration on the front of it.

These are my tracing paper books. This is tracing paper and this is parchment

paper with alcohol inks stitched around the edges and then I just add a little

bit of fiber with the papers and these just a really cute little thing to tuck

in. So that's it. Make a head some little notebooks and leave them at various

stages and you will have something ready to go in your next project. Tthanks so

much for stopping by. There is a playlist of make-ahead ephemera so you can see

more of these quick little projects. If you like this video I hope you will hit

the like button. Hhit subscribe if you're not already a subscriber and thank you

so much for taking time out of your busy day to spend a little bit of time with

me. That's all for now. Bye

3D Printed Ryzen Mini ITX Gaming PC Case v2 – Fixing Thermals - Duration: 4:07.

Hi Guys, this is a follow up video to my 3D Printed Ryzen Mini ITX Gaming PC video where

I'm going to be printing new versions and testing alternate hardware to deal with the

thermal issues with the case design.

After deciding case version one wasn't large enough for sufficient cooling - I printed

case version two.

I increased the height by around 2cm and added a bunch more ventilation holes to the sides.

My thinking was that since the cooler was able to keep the APU cool at 65 degrees

outside the case while playing Tomb Raider, all I needed to do was add more ventilation and

give the cooler a bit more room to breathe.

However, the temperature still climbed to 85 degrees C fully assembled.

An improvement, but not what I was hoping for.

I then made the mistake of running Prime 95 to stress the CPU cores and saw the temps

quickly rise back up into the mid nineties range.

Ouch.

So, OK, let's try the same but with the top of the case removed.

Mid eighties.

OK better, but still far too high for my liking.

It's at this point I realise the stock cooler clearly isn't good enough to cool the processor

under any kind of actual load - at least without additional air flow.

So I go on the hunt for a new cooler and discover this guy.

The CoolerMaster G100M.

I settled on this for a few reasons, 1) It's fairly low profile and will still fit in this

case design 2) CoolerMaster rates it for 130W TDP (DOUBLE the 65W rating of the 2400G I'm

using here.

And 3) It's RGB so I can get rid of the LEDs and allow the cooler to do the work lighting

the logo.

Unfortunately this cooler sucks.

It turned out to be pretty much on par with the stock cooler.

I don't know if CoolerMaster seriously over-rated this thing or if it was a mounting issue.

I reseated it several times and each time I removed it, I could see it wasn't making

good contact with the APU.

And I was very careful while tightening this thing down, trying to keep it level.

Oh well.

At this point I'm thinking: OK, Let's get a Cooler that is going to actually work (...while

still keeping the RGB if possible).

I settled on this guy.

It's the Wraith Prism cooler that ships with AMD's current consumer flagship the 2700X.

I figure if it's capable of cooling *THAT* it should be fine with my 2400G with only

half the cores - plus it's still not *too* big either.

Fortunately, it *was* very capable.

It maxed out at around 66 Degrees in Prime 95 (open air) and kept The APU under 40 Degrees

in Tomb Raider.

Unfortunately, it's now too tall to fit in case version 2.

At this point I'm thinking OK, If I have to print another one of these things, I'm going

to make sure the APU has the best possible chance of staying reasonably cool.

So I printed this Monster.

It's now 15cm high, 50% taller than version 2 and almost twice the height of the original.

There should be decent enough space for the Cooler to breathe and a whole bunch of extra

ventilation to keep the air moving through the case.

So, with baited breath I re-run the tests.

And finally temps are under control.

I made one last change - making an adapter for the back so I could use the original Case

Top panel since it has the Logo insert I spent a bunch of time sanding and polishing glued

onto it.

Details of that can be seen in the previous video.

So that's it, despite the case being a bit fatter, I'm pretty happy with the result and

I really like the subtle pulsing light effect the new cooler gives the logo.

Although, I'm now thinking with the extra 2ish cm of room on the 3D printer's print

bed, I could probably make a slightly wider version of the case that would fit a small

1050 ti or something - it's certainly tall enough now.

The Pico PSU is only 160W though, so it would be incredibly tight on power since it's already

drawing a max of around 110W from the wall and PCI-e slots are designed to allow a draw

of up to 50W.

It would also mean more heat.

Someone talk me out of it please.

Anyway that's it for now, cheers for watching.

If you're interested in more videos like this please let me know by either commenting or

liking and sub to make sure you see them!

Thanks, catch you in the next one.

Hello guys, Roscoe here

and welcome back to Roscoe Channel

First, I want to apologize

because I didn't make any video for the past couple of months

The reason behind that was because I was assigned out of town

and out of nowhere, my assignment got extended

I didn't expect that to happen

I was planning to take around 2 weeks of rest in video making,

but that extended assignment ruined my plan and I didn't carry my Tamiya stuff with me

and that's why I couldn't make any video at all

So this time I got the chance to make another video in Roscoe Channel

Today I got 3 good news which related to Roscoe Channel

The first one is...

At 21 February 2019

Roscoe Channel had achieved...

10000 subscribers

Thank you guys for all of your support from the beginning of this channel right up until now

I also want to thank all of the new subscribers

I hope you guys will keep on supporting me, so I can make better videos in the future

The 2nd thing I want to share with you...

because I always believe that if you guys like my videos,

and if you guys really enjoyed my videos,

all of you will still be a subscriber of this channel

and I never run this car at all

it stayed the whole time at the box after I assembled it

The 3rd one is the Synchro master Z9

This one was also a review unit

I never run this car at all and it's still in a great condition for sure

The last one is the Great Magnum R

So how do you become a winner of this giveaway session?

It's really easy

1st, you need to be a subscriber of my channel

2nd, click on the bell sign

so you guys will get the notification when I've uploaded a new video

3rd, this one is a bit tricky

So in my first Q&A video,

I've inserted 2 hidden words that only displayed only for less than 1 second

and those words can be found at some point of my video

So if you want to win these items,

you have to find those hidden words

and write down those words in the comment section of my next video

Remember! NOT THIS VIDEO!

So make sure you've clicked the bell button,

and when I've uploaded my new video

you can directly post your answers there

The first 4 comments with correct answers

will get these items for free

you don't need to spend any money on these items and I will also take care of the shipping fee

So you just need to watch that Q&A video, find the hidden words,

and write that answers down on the comment section of my next video

If you answer it correctly and chosen as the winner,

I will contact you

and we can discuss about the shipping process

I think that's it for today's video

Don't forget to click that subscribe button if you haven't already

hit that bell button

and stay tuned for more great videos on Roscoe Channel

because I will use this camera to record the upcoming videos in this channel

Mini-Review | New West Camper Vans | 7 Year Warranty & 4 Seasons! - Duration: 7:19.

Hi everyone and welcome to Ultramobility Mini-Review where I give you just the essentials in a

5 minute, unsponsored RV review.

I'm your host Neil Balthaser and today we're going to take a look at a little known RV

manufacturer creating quality class B camper vans for direct to consumer sales out of Quebec

Canada.

The manufacturer is New West and if you're open to a less conventional way of getting

into your dream RV then they just may be the ideal manufacturer for you.

New West has been manufacturing high-quality Class B recreational vehicles since 1999 - so

they're no new-comer.

Their founder Jean Dumais was a huge fan of the popular Westfalia models out of Europe.

Inspired by the Westfalia he designed his own class B RV that kept the key elements

of the Westfalia but also adapted it for the North American market.

Today, New-West makes 9 different models on 3 different chassis and we're going to take

a look at three of them right now.

The BO-M (which is short for Bohemian which in French is pronounced Bohème) is New West's

least expensive offering starting at $59k Canadian dollars or just $44k USD.

That prices includes both the van chassis and the build out.

The BO-M is assembled on the GM Chevrolet Express non-extended 2500 chassis and is only

18.5 feet in length - making it ideal for use as a second car.

It has a beautiful modern yet rustic interior design with a versatile interior layout.

The rear dinette converts to your bed and sleeps 2.

There's a poptop that can sleep another 2.

Mid-section is a basic kitchen with a 2.5 cu.ft. compressor refrigerator, a portable

alcohol stove and a small sink.

Now the water pump on the BO-M is manual but that's just one of the ways that they're keeping

the price affordable.

However you also get some nice available upgrades like 100w of solar, a Webasto gas fired heater,

a 1500w inverter and both a side and rear awning.

Next up is The Altitude.

It's built on the Ford Transit 250 High Roof chassis, imported from Europe with a length

of only 19.5 feet.

It starts at $115k CAD or $87k USD.

The biggest advantage the Altitude brings is its 6'4" interior standing height - one

of the tallest in its class.

In the back you have an innovative bench seat dinette that converts into your bed.

The rear portion of the bed is on a lift and allows for the storage of bulky items which

are also accessible from the inside.

Mid-van is your galley with a compressor refrigerator, a wood alcohol stove or an induction cooktop

and a marine style sink.

I appreciate the modern design elements like the curved radius corners on the cabinets.

Rounding things out the Altitude features an inside portable toilet and a shower concealed

beneath a folding countertop.

Rounding things out let's have a look at the Grizzly.

Starting at $139k CAD or $105k USD the Grizzly is assembled on the 19.5 Mercedes Sprinter

2500 4x4 chassis!

It is available in either the a 4 cyclinder 7 speed engine, which is the one I have on

my Sprinter and gets about 26mpg or the more powerful 6 cylinder 5 speed transmission which

gets around 23mpg.

The Grizzly's design is modern yet rugged for outdoor use at the same time.

It's a no-frills interior with easy to wipe down floors, cabinets and upholstery yet it

doesn't compromise on livability.

There's a dinette/bed in the rear and a second optional dinette up front for 2 people.

In the galley you'll find an alcohol stove - if you haven't noticed yet all New-West

designs feature an alcohol stove and that's so they can completely eliminate the need

for propane.

There's also an induction cooktop option.

There's a large 4.3 cu.ft. compressor refrigerator, a microwave a marine style sink and plenty

of storage.

Up front behind the driver's seat is an indoor portable toilet and the shower curtain drops

down from the roof.

There's also an outside shower.

There are 6 other floorplans and models available so I encourage you to check out New-West's

website.

I'll put a link in the video description below.

Two other important points you need to know: First, all models are 4 season except the

BO-M. That means they feature upgraded insulation in the walls, all their water lines are routed

internally and fresh water tanks are also internal.

Heating pads on your holding tanks and heat tape on your water lines are available as

options.

Secondly, New-West offers an incredible 7 year coach warranty which at this time is

the best in the segment.

Now as far as purchasing: If you live in Canada you can buy one directly from New-West or

find them at dealers.

If you're living in the United States then you'll purchase the chassis of your choice,

deliver it to New-West's factory in Canada and when the conversion is complete drive

it back home.

Production time is about 2 weeks and they currently have only a 1 month wait list.

If you're willing to think outside the box then New-West is a great alternative to the

standard fare camper vans that are available here in the states.

Alright that wraps up this week's mini-review.

If you enjoyed it then give me a thumbs up, subscribe and hit that little bell to be notified

whenever a new review drops on my channel and thanks for watching Ultramobility Mini-Review

where I cover just the essentials in a 5 minute review.

I'll see you next time everyone!

Take care!

Bye!
