Hello World. How is it going?

[ Topster on Weekend #12 ]

[ *Green Screen on Point ] Once again it is three weeks ago when I uploaded my latest video.

I just didn't make it and forgot about it.

But something happened in the meanwhile.

On Saturday I was notified that my car was fixed.

In forest place I was super happy because it was one week earlier than expected.

But the car was placed in Bavaria.

I was lucky that my friend took me with him to Bavaria. We started at lunch time.

At midnight we arrived the workshop to pick up my car and bring it back home for the next few hours.

In the end I was on the road for over 12 hours.

But I used my fixed car for the last six hours.

I was worrying a bit since it was the middle of the night and I did not had that much trust in the car.

I assumed the car to explode or something but surprisingly nothing happened and I arrived my home.

On that trip we drove over Frankfurt to Bavaria.

Funfact: I was there again this weekend.

The reason for that is that my friend and driver had a appointment in Frankfurt and so we drove to that place two times within seven days.

I wanted to explore the local cities (Idstein) while my friend had his appointment.

Very beautiful city, nice old church and old buildings in general which I liked.

I think tourists in Germany always have cities like this is mind when thinking about Germany.

That is why I liked it and why I will show you a bit of it now.

For our way back home we decided spontaneously (like always) to visit Hambach and see what happens over there. (Protests against coal industry)

For those of you who might not know about it:

There is a forest at the city of Hambach (Hambach forest) with open-cast mining for RWE (company).

They want to destroy this forest to get more coal. The protesters succeed a few weeks ago so the forest will stay.

After that they wanted more and want to stop coal usage in general now.

I don't think they will success but who knows.

It was very dark when we arrived. That is why you may see nothing in the next clips.

A few hours before we arrived the protesters boycotted a train rail to stop the transportation of the coal.

We had direct police contact.

We walked around for a while. It was very interesting.

But suddenly there was a armored car.

[...] leave this place without getting controlled by the police. Please go up and leave the area towards the speakers. There you can leave this area. Thank you for your attention. [...]

Marius: You mean over there where all the people are?

Protester: Yes. They have armored cars! Can you believe it - For what?!

Okay, they send us away.

We were asked to keep going.

That is a helicopter over there, isn't it?

We just came from the train rails where the protesters blocked the train today.

We were asked again to leave the place. We should just do it.

There are more protesters on the rails singing and dancing.

Unfortunately I can not get closer. The police is blocking every entrance.

So: We are at the Hambach forest. Over there is a giant hole without anything - for open-cast mining.

We parked behind this barrier - "anarchy!" - It is the best place to park.

When we parked here there was a big car (A few hundreds meters away). Suddenly they started the engine and came closer.

That's not a patrol car. What is it? A troop vehicle, right? - Right

It was filled with police - Very interesting.

They just looked at us but didn't say anything. They will come back later and do the same. I am very sure.

They are good in looking angry. We already saw that on the rails.

We will see whether there will be problems. I don't hope so.

It was very surprisingly. But the police will know what the best is.

The protesters are interested in all this because of the environment. Of course I do care at least a bit about that too.

But there is one thing which is worse in my opinion: The people living in these villages next to the forest have to leave the homes.

This is expulsion.

Of course they will get some sort of compensation but that isn't really the solution.

Just imagine you are building a house and 10-20 years later you have to leave it.

To be honest: That already was my weekend.

This means: I drove to Frankfurt with my friend to see the cities.

After that: Hambach

It was very interesting to be there. Because usually you only hear it in the news.

And today (Sunday) I will cut and upload this video. In my opinion the Sunday is a day of silence.

What I wanted to say: I asked you for comments to give me some art of feedback in the last video.

And I got a few comments.

Thank you all for your comments.

Just keep going. I like that. It makes this while thing a dual way of communication.

In case you really watched the video till here: I would pull my hat for you if I would wear a hat.

Thank you. It is a good support and it shows me that I am doing, at least, not everything wrong.

That really was it.

If you want to you can watch more videos which will be displayed here or over there.

Maybe on my face?

See you in the next video - Ciao!

[ Thank you for watching ]
