our pro series and our race series, says here i have to do this boring sound clip video
I don't think I'm going to do that
we have our 2016 camaro ss with the lt1 engine in it
and we're going to show you some exhaust options that we offer
because the factory exhaust system is pretty ugly and it sounds good but we are going to make it sound better
so we have our pro series axle-back installed on the vehicle now
so we took off the factory unit, that big ugly heavy thing
pretty ugly and heavy so we are going to throw this in the garbage
so what these things do, is they cancel each other out noise wise
we found that the absorption style mufflers here sounded awesome
when under acceleration and at idle, but on the highway around 70 miles per hour
you started getting really bad drone in the cabin of the car
so what we were finding is we used a frequency analyzer and some software to figure out
exactly where that resonate frequency was that was causing that annoying drone
that annoying vibration
from there we were able to use quarter wave length resonators
which actually come through this pipe and then bounce back and cancel out the sound at that particular
frequency so by adding these we were then able to significantly take the drone down
at that particular frequency and almost cancel it out all together
if you don't want to wake the neighbors and you don't want to have annoyance on the highway
this is the kind of system you want to go for
so if you want the most America to come out of the tailpipe of your camaro
this is the system you want, it practically sings the star spangle banner as you rev it up
we have some options on the exhaust tips, we have duals, quads, polished stainless steel or these black tips
they all look good its personal preference - it's your choice
