Required tools: Torque wrench

Fender cover Microfibre towel

1. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the air duct. Use round-nose pliers.

2. Unscrew the clamps and fasteners on the air filter intake pipe. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

3. Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter housing.

4. Unscrew the fasteners connecting the throttle valve to the intake manifold. Use a drive socket #8. Use a ratchet wrench.

5. Release the clamp and detach the connector and the vacuum hose from the intake manifold near the throttle valve. Use round-nose pliers.

6. Unscrew the fasteners of the intake manifold bracket. Use a drive socket #10.

7. Detach the vacuum booster hose from the intake manifold.

8. Unscrew the intake manifold fasteners. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

9. Remove the intake manifold.

10. Cover the intake manifold passages with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting inside.

11. Detach the connector from the ignition coil.

12. Unscrew the ignition coil bracket. Use a drive socket #10.

13. Take out the ignition coil from the spark plug well.

14. Clean dirt, dust and debris from inside the spark plug well.

15. Install the new ignition coil to the spark plug well. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.

16. Plug in the ignition coil connector.

17. Tighten the ignition coil fastening. Use a drive socket #10. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 9 nm torque.

18. Remove the microfibre towel from the intake manifold.

19. Remove the intake manifold gasket. Use a flat screwdriver.

20. Install the new intake manifold gasket.

21. Install the intake manifold.

22. Tighten the intake manifold fasteners. Use a drive socket #10. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 15 nm torque.

23. Tighten the fasteners of the intake manifold bracket. Use a drive socket #10. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 15 nm torque.

24. Attach the vacuum booster hose to the intake manifold.

25. Squeeze and install the vacuum booster hose clamp. Use round-nose pliers.

26. Install the throttle valve on the intake manifold.

27. Tighten the throttle valve fasteners. Use a drive socket #8. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 16 nm torque.

28. Attach the connector and the vacuum hose to the intake manifold near the throttle valve. Use round-nose pliers.

29. Connect the air intake pipe to the air filter housing.

30. Connect the crankcase ventilation hose to the air duct. Use round-nose pliers.

31. Tighten the clamp and the fasteners on the air filter intake pipe. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

32. Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.

33. Shut off the engine.

How to replace spark plug on NISSAN QASHQAI 1 (J10) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC] - Duration: 8:27.

Required tools: Torque wrench Spark plug socket # 16 Drive socket # 8 Drive socket # 10

Ratchet wrench Round-nose pliers Flat screwdriver Telescoping magnet Fender cover

High-temperature anti-seize lubricant Electronic spray

1. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the air duct. Use round-nose pliers.

2. Unscrew the clamps and fasteners on the air filter intake pipe. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

3. Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter housing.

4. Unscrew the fasteners connecting the throttle valve to the intake manifold. Use a drive socket #8. Use a ratchet wrench.

5. Release the clamp and detach the connector and the vacuum hose from the intake manifold near the throttle valve. Use round-nose pliers.

6. Unscrew the fasteners of the intake manifold bracket. Use a drive socket #10.

7. Detach the vacuum booster hose from the intake manifold.

8. Unscrew the intake manifold fasteners. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

9. Remove the intake manifold.

10. Cover the intake manifold passages with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting inside.

11. Unscrew the ignition coil bracket. Use a drive socket #10.

12. Take out the ignition coil from the spark plug well.

13. Clean dirt, dust and debris from inside the spark plug well.

14. Unscrew the spark plugs. Use the spark plug socket #16. Use a ratchet wrench.

15. Take out the spark plugs. Use a telescoping magnet.

16. Apply a thin layer of a special high temperature anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the new spark plugs. Treat the surface of the terminals of the new spark plugs. Use electronic spray.

17. Install the new spark plugs into their mounting seats.

18. Screw new spark plugs and tighten them. Use the spark plug socket #16. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 25 nm torque.

AUTODOC recommends: Don't tighten the plugs with excessive force. Exceeding tightening torque can damage the thread connection.  Be careful when working with a spark plug wrench. Its skewing can cause damage to the threaded connection.

19. Install the ignition coil to the spark plug well. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.

AUTODOC recommends: Follow the installation sequence.

20. Tighten the ignition coil fastening. Use a drive socket #10. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 9 nm torque.

21. Remove the microfibre towel from the intake manifold.

22. Remove the intake manifold gasket. Use a flat screwdriver.

23. Install the new intake manifold gasket.

24. Install the intake manifold.

25. Tighten the intake manifold fasteners. Use a drive socket #10. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 15 nm torque.

26. Tighten the fasteners of the intake manifold bracket. Use a drive socket #10. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 15 nm torque.

27. Attach the vacuum booster hose to the intake manifold.

28. Squeeze and install the vacuum booster hose clamp. Use round-nose pliers.

29. Install the throttle valve on the intake manifold.

30. Tighten the throttle valve fasteners. Use a drive socket #8. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 16 nm torque.

31. Attach the connector and the vacuum hose to the intake manifold near the throttle valve. Use round-nose pliers.

32. Connect the air intake pipe to the air filter housing.

33. Connect the crankcase ventilation hose to the air duct. Use round-nose pliers.

34. Tighten the clamp and fasteners on the air filter intake pipe. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

35. Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.

36. Shut off the engine.

Nissan GTR is not the fastest car in the world

When the new generation of R35 was launched, the car was considered a quantum leap back then

The car was very fast from Zero to 100km/h that people called it "supercar killer"

Because it could beat any supercar from 0 to 100km/h

But cars development is very rapid

Supercars became faster than before with impressive times from 0 to 100km/h

So GTR's aura gradually faded out

Still, Nissan GTR is very famous in the world of power and modification

and this car is extraordinary

It produces 1000+hp, but there is a secret I will tell you about it when we drive the car

This car is ready to be a supercar killer!

My God! What a launch!

If you pull the steering wheel it might fly! My God!

What a monster!

Let's switch to 5th, 6th gear to turn down the sound

so that we can hear each other!

The car's secret we mentioned before isn't about horsepower

But this car is ready to terminate any supercar

Why?

Because this car was modified in a scientific way

Let's go through the details of the modification job

All the mechanic parts in the car are modified from bumper to bumper

The engine got a full stroker kit it was increased to 4100cc

With modified pistons, rods, and crankshaft

All the inner parts of the engine were modified

The cylinder head bolts were also modified to keep the head attached to the cylinders

Because the turbocharger air pressure is so high it can destroy the stock bolts

About the turbocharger… as it's the main part of the car

The car has a Boost Logic modified turbocharger with the latest 1200hp kit

The car owner played it smart

Modified cars usually face a certain issue

because owners use giant turbochargers with high boost

thus, the turbocharger opens on too high rpms

while this one's size is good , relatively speaking

it doesn't open on the lowest rpms, of course!

but it opens at the right time to get the full power of the car

it doesn't need high rpms to open

The car has fully modified Boost Logic turbochargers, and exhaust

Airflow is fully optimized

The manifold is also fully modified

and so are the injectors

Nissan GTR originally has 6 injectors because it's a 6-cylinder engine

While this car has 12 injectors

Like the system we talked about in ZR1 episode

It has 12 injectors to insure enough fuel is delivered to the combustion chamber

To meet the airflow coming from the giant turbochargers

The engine was modified according to a scientific method

So that it can produce up to 2200hp

You only need to change the turbocharger kit

and replace them with the 2200hp kit

No problem!

The car has the largest intercooler from Boost Logic it's also modified to withstand a 2200hp

There is also an oil catch can to gather all the fumes

away from the engine

We can see a roll cage in the back while the front part is detached

If you want to take it to a race you can just attach the rest of the roll cage

Which provides better rigidity and handling

The ECU is stock but as you see it has a COBB Accessport

You can connect it through this OBD cable

to upgrade the ECU software

There are 3 software programs according to the type of the fuel

Low boost is 1.6 bar

The highest boost with race fuel

is 2.96 bar

About 3 bar! The amount of airflow is extraordinary!

The car is really wild!

It looks innocent from outside Nothing special about it!

Except for the carbon fiber rear spoiler

It's used for high speeds So that the car can compete against any supercar

The car's setup is arranged for normal driving not for tracks

So this car looks innocent on the streets, but if it competes against a supercar

it takes it out easily! Of any make or model

The car has adjustable Coilover suspension

You see the car is very comfortable It's not hard and shaky like track cars

Very excellent!

The car has lightweight 20" RAYS wheels with semi-click Mickey Thompson tires

They provide good traction for a sport car

The car needs this kind of tires to provide enough traction

Otherwise, it will drift when you step on it

Not a single horse is lost from the car's horsepower

They are all here!

The car's sound when you drive slowly with the turbo still not open yet is acceptable

You can drive it daily with this sound

But when you step on it It's very loud!

The differential lock is modified like everything else!

The gearbox is fully modified developed by Dodson from New Zealand

Installing the parts was done in UAE at Subzero garage

Professional job! The guys are experts in car modification

1000, 2000, or 3000hp No problem!

A piece of information for car enthusiasts...

A lot of people believe it's easy to modify a Nissan GTR to produce 1000hp

and it doesn't cost much

Modifying this car cost 330,000 AED

So when you hear about a 1000hp or 1500hp Nissan GTR

this means a fortune was spent to modify this car

It costs as much as buying a supercar!
