Hello dear We Drive friends, and welcome to a new video!
I'm inside the new Citroen C5 Aircross
And today I'll show you the whole infotainment system
And also the new digital screen behind the steering wheel
Before that, be sure you didn't miss our complete walkaround of this new C5 Aircross
Link up here and in the description
Please subscribe to We Drive and click on the bell to turn on notifications on future videos
And also take a look at our Facebook and Instagram account, with more and different content from YT
But now let's see this system
Let's start from the central 8'' screen, right now it's set on the A/C controls
You can control the A/C from the display
Of course there are some buttons for settings like taking out mist from windscreen
Also to make air circulate inside or to turn off the A/C
But for every detailed control, we can only do it from the display
Let's set the speed of the vents
Direction of the air flow, too
This is a bi-zone A/C, so different temperatures for driver and passenger
I can also choose the air quality
Because this car has air filters, so the air inside can be purified
Then you can also set the A/C in mono, so one temperature for the whole car
Under the screen there are various buttons, this one is for the comfortable heated seats
Then there's music
There's the radio, we can slide or use the arrows to choose the radio frequencies
Of course there are various memories about radio stations
You can also use the DAB Radio
Then on this page you can choose from Radio, Bluetooth, USB, Ipod and Video
Of course you can see videos only with the car stopped
And you have to connect a device, but the setting is simple
Then there's a list of the various radio stations
The audio quality inside is good
It is
There are more options for the radio, you can manually set the frequencies
FM, DAB and so on
Then, with the AUX or USB, you can set your personal songs with the phone
Radio settings
And also the single bass, medium and treble settings of the audio
You can also manually adjust the zone of the car in which you want the audio
If you are alone inside, you can set the audio
Playing only by the speaker near to your seat
You can also set the touch sounds
You can turn it off or adjust the volume of it
Then you can adjust the volume of the voice of the system, for example for the navi indications
You can also choose the default ringtones of the car
You can upload some photos too
Now it's time to take a look at the navigation system
The map of the navigation takes the full 8'' screen
You got the pinch-to-zoom, it's pretty flowing
Let's try to set the navigation
I can write my destination on the keyboard
Or with this button [Car asks the voice destination]: Drive me to Milan
So you can set your destination with the voice commands
Useful
If there are bends or corners, the map adjusts and zooms itself to make it clearer to you
Down here you can control various settings for the navi
You can set the color of the map
In day mode and night mode
You can just look at the map or control the various points of interest
Right here there are various points of interest
An important thing is that if you have to control A/C, you don't have to click on this button
You can click up here to show the A/C window, then click again and go back to the navi
Then this car button is for the various driving modes and settings of the vehicle
We can adjust the headlights, make them directional
The headlights turn together with the wheels, very useful on dark bendy roads
Then inside comfort settings, inside lightings
You can turn on and off the opening of the boot with no hands
And many other comfort features
Then we can turn various safety features on and off
You can't disable some of the safety features, of course
You can disable just the ''less necessary'' ones
You can turn off the Active Safe Break, but you shouldn't do it
You can also adjust the distance you'd like to automatically brake from the other car
You can turn off the road signs detector
You can also set the car to automatically adjust the speed regarding the various speed limit signs
Let's assume you're on the freeway, the speed limit decreases from 130 to 90 KPH
The cruise control reads the speed limit change, and automatically sets the car to 90 KPH from 130
Then some parking settings
Some more driving features
There's the automatic adjustment of the high beam headlights
If you're driving with your high beams on
If there's a car coming in the opposite direction
The C5 detects it and turn the high beam off so the other driver is not blinded
Then there's the anti-wheelslip, giving you more grip in case of snow or very wet roads
Then also the sensor that detects a deflated tire
Let's see the phone
Right now there's no SIM card in the car
You can connect your phone, I won't do it right now
You can set your phonebook, you can look at the various calls
And you can also make phone calls with the buttons on the steering wheel
Connectivity: you can use some Citroen Apps from your phone connected to the car
Then there's obviously Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirrorlink
I won't show you them because we already filmed those systems, link up here to the videos
We can also set a very useful feature: the Wi-Fi
I can choose to share the car's Wi-Fi with the various passengers' smartphones or devices
I can connect my phone to the car's Wi-Fi
This car has a feature you can only find in high-end cars
Don't be misleaded because I see only the heated seats button right here, maybe I'm ignorant
If you do know about the function I'm about to tell you, tell me in the comments below
Down here there's a magic button, if I press it, the seats massage starts
Only if I press this button, on the screen appears the setting page of the seat massage
I can choose intensity but also type of massage
a Cat Paw like massage
Wave mode, but also the zones: Stretch, Shoulders and Lumbar
I don't wanna leave this car!
This is a very relaxing massage
Truly fantastic
It's a pity they didn't put that button up here, it would've been more easy to reach
Now let's take a look at the other display
First time for Citroen
First of all, on the steering wheel we have buttons on the right for phone
With lists and search buttons, too
On the left there's a button for the voice commands
The volume buttons, and this one right here is to browse the TFT in front of me
Now I'll show you this display
As you can see, on the left there are various choices, let's see Instruments
The classic layout: odometer in the middle
On the left the light gauges
Then the white and red dot in the lower part is for the road signs detector
Then rev counter on the left
And the gear selector on the right, right now we're in P
But if we change gear
It changes if I change gear from the selector or with the paddles behind the steering wheel
Let's put it back in P
Let's modify this layout, let's put it in Drive
It changes, in the middle there's the C5 Aircross
This car has the Keep Lane Assist system
So together with the car the lane lines will be displayed, changing color in case of danger
Right here you can select the Keep Lane Assist
On the left you get the Trip infos
Average speed, average fuel consumption and total range of the car from the start
On the right we get the odometer
The gear selected and the road signs
Let's see the navigation layout
This is the navigation layout
I can set the navi from the central screen and see the map in front of my eyes
Let's see the personal layout
You can personally adjust the layout in every single piece
The person who drove this car before, set on the left the Keep Lane Assist settings
On the right the Trip infos
And in the middle the odometer, gear and so on
Other layout: minumum
It shows a minimalistic layout
I suggest you to use this layout at night so you won't tire your eyes, it looks more comfortable and clear
Then you get back to Instruments
If I click on that little gear wheel, I can set the TFT from the central 8'' screen
I can personalize that TFT
I can set the Personal layout from this page right here, in every single element
Let's set navi on the right and media on the left
Let's see, on the TFT the car has changed with my instructions
I really appreciate the fact that Citroen developed this system
There's a detail I didn't show you, but I can't show you right now on the screen
If you know how to do it, let me know in the comments below
This thing right here: is a camera!
Is a dash cam, right here there's a micro USB socket
There's a button to activate it
And with this button I can snap a photo
It makes a sound
I sadly don't know where I can show you the picture
