1. Unscrew the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19.

AUTODOC recommends: To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the bolts.

2. Raise the front of the car and secure on supports.

3. Unscrew and remove the oil pan cover. Use a drive socket #8. Use a ratchet wrench.

4. Unscrew the lower fastener of the plastic bumper cover. Use a drive socket #8.

5. Unscrew the wheel arch cover fasteners. Move the part aside. Use a ratchet wrench. Use a Phillips screwdriver.

6. Unplug the connectors of the headlights.

7. Unscrew the fastener connecting the bumper to the fenders. Use Torx T30. Use a ratchet wrench.

8. Stick painter's tape to the car fenders to protect the paintwork from damage when demounting the bumper.

9. Loosen the bumper upper fasteners. Use Torx T30. Use a ratchet wrench.

10. Carefully release the bumper from the fasteners.

AUTODOC recommends: Do not apply excessive force when removing the part. Otherwise you may damage it.

11. Unscrew the upper fasteners of the bumper and remove it.

AUTODOC recommends: To prevent damage to the components, hold the bumper when unscrewing the upper fasteners.

12. Unscrew the fastener of the intercooler air guide. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

13. Remove the intercooler air guide.

14. Unscrew the fastener of the spacer under the bumper reinforcement bar. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

15. Unscrew the fasteners of the bumper reinforcement bar. Use a drive socket #17. Use a ratchet wrench.

16. Remove the fasteners of the bumper reinforcement bar. 17. Remove the bumper reinforcement bar.

18. Unscrew the upper fastener of the intercooler. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

19. Unscrew the intercooler pipe clamp. Use a drive socket #7. Use a ratchet wrench.

20. Pry up and detach the lower pipe from the intercooler. Use a crowbar.

21. Unscrew the fasteners of the side member from the subframe. Use a drive socket #16. Use a drive socket #18. Use a ratchet wrench.

22. Move the intercooler aside and remove the side member.

23. Clean the fastener connecting the ball joint to the steering knuckle. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

24. Unscrew the ball joint fastening to the steering knuckle.

Use a combination spanner #17. Use a drive socket #17. Use a ratchet wrench.

25. Unscrew the front arm fastener. Use a drive socket #18. Use a tap wrench.

26. Unscrew the rear arm fastener. Use a drive socket #18. Use a tap wrench.

27. Release the fastener connecting the ball joint to the steering knuckle.

Use a flat metal-working chisel. Use a hammer.

28. Disconnect the ball joint from the steering knuckle Use a crowbar.

29. Remove the arm.

30. Clean all joints of the arm. Use a wire brush. Treat all joints of the arm. Use WD-40 spray.

AUTODOC recommends: After applying the spray, wait a few minutes. Wear protective goggles. Wear a respirator.

31. Install a new arm. Use a crowbar.

32. Install the front fastener of the arm. Do not tighten it.

33. Install the rear fastener of the arm. Do not tighten it.

34. Connect the ball joint to the steering knuckle If necessary, use a rubber mallet.

AUTODOC recommends: Do not damage the ball joint cover.

35. Screw the rear arm fastener. Use a drive socket #18.

Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 115 nm torque.

36. Screw the front arm fastener. Use a drive socket #18.

Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 110 nm torque.

37. Tighten the ball joint fastener. Use a combination spanner #17. Use a drive socket #17.

Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 40 nm torque.

38. Move the intercooler aside and install the side member.

39. Screw in the fasteners of the side member. Use a drive socket #16.

Use a drive socket #18. Use a ratchet wrench.

40. Treat the bolted connections on the side member. Use WD-40 spray.

41. Install the bumper reinforcement bar.

42. Tighten the fastener of the bumper reinforcement bar. Use a drive socket #17.

Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 65 nm torque.

43. Screw in the fastener of the spacer under the bumper reinforcement bar.

44. Attach the pipe to the intercooler. Install the intercooler on its mounting seat.

45. Screw in the intercooler upper fastener. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

46. Install the intercooler air guide.

47. Screw in the fastener of the intercooler air guide. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

48. Tighten the fasteners of the side member.

Use a drive socket #16. Use a drive socket #18. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 95 nm torque.

49. Clean the bumper mounting seat. Use WD-40 spray.

50. Install the bumper. Screw in the upper fasteners.

AUTODOC recommends: To prevent damage to the components, hold the bumper when screwing in the upper fasteners.

51. Remove the painter's tape.

52. Install the bumper to the mounting seat. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.

53. Screw in the bumper upper fasteners. Use Torx T30. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 10 nm torque.

54. Screw in the lower fastener connecting the bumper to the fenders. Use Torx T30.

55. Plug in the connectors of the headlights.

56. Tighten the intercooler pipe fastener. Use a drive socket #7.

57. Plug in the connectors of the headlights.

58. Install the wheel arch cover to its mounting seat.

Screw in the fasteners. Use a Phillips screwdriver. Use a ratchet wrench.

59. Screw in the lower fastener of the plastic bumper cover. Use a drive socket #8. Use a ratchet wrench.

60. Plug in the connectors of the headlights.

61. Install the oil pan cover and screw in its fasteners. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

62. Clean the wheel rim mounting seat. Use a wire brush. Treat the contacting surface. Use copper grease.

63. Screw in the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19.

AUTODOC recommends: To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when screwing in the fastening bolts.

64. Lower the car and working in a cross order, tighten the wheel bolts. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 110 nm torque.

Fender cover Wheel chock

1. Remove the clips of the plastic cowl grille. Use a clip removal tool.

2. Raise the wiper plastic cowl grille.

3. Clean the fasteners of the shock strut upper mount. Use WD-40 spray.

4. Unscrew the top fastening of the shock strut mount. Use a combination spanner #19.

Use HEX No.H7. Use a ratchet wrench.

5. Raise the front of the car and secure on supports.

6. Unscrew the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19.

AUTODOC recommends: To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the bolts.

7. Disconnect the wiring and the brake hose from the bracket on the shock strut. Use round-nose pliers.

8. Clean the fasteners connecting the stabiliser link to the shock strut, and those connecting the shock strut to the steering knuckle.

Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

9. Unscrew the nut and remove the stabilizer rod from the shock strut. Use box wrench #18.

Use a drive socket #18. Use HEX No.H5.

10. Prop up the steering knuckle. Use a hydraulic transmission jack.

11. Unscrew the lower fastener connecting the shock strut to the steering knuckle.

Use box wrench #17. Use a drive socket #15. Use a ratchet wrench.

12. Remove the support from under the steering knuckle.

13. Disconnect the steering knuckle from the shock absorber strut.

14. Unscrew the upper fastening of the shock absorber strut.

AUTODOC recommends: To avoid injuries, hold the shock strut when undoing the fastening bolts.

15. Remove the suspension strut.

16. Set the shock absorber strut on the spring compressor tool.

AUTODOC recommends: Note that when using a spring compressor, spring coils need to be securely gripped, compressing the spring on the opposite sides.

Ensure the correct position of the spring in the retainer.

Make sure that the spring coils tightly entered the lock handles.

17. Compress the spring.

18. Clean the shock absorber rod. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

19. Remove the strut piston rod nut. Use a combination spanner #27. Use HEX No.H7.

20. Remove the top strut mount.

21. Release the coil spring.

22. Remove the spring.

23. Remove the old shock absorber from the hydraulic coil spring compressor.

AUTODOC recommends: Τhoroughly examine the shock absorber mount, dust boot, bump stop. Replace them if necessary.

Before installing a new shock absorber you should pump it manually 3-5 times.

24. Install the new shock absorber on the hydraulic coil spring compressor.

25. Install the dust sleeve and the bump stop on the new shock absorber.

26. Install the spring on the shock absorber.

27. Compress the spring.

28. Install the upper strut mount and the strut mount bearing. Use a crowbar.

29. Tighten the shock strut piston rod nut. Use a combination spanner #27. Use HEX No.H7.

Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 60 Nm torque.

AUTODOC recommends: Check to make sure the spring is positioned correctly. Avoid its misalignment.

30. Decompress the spring.

31. Remove the assembled shock strut.

32. Install the shock strut into the wheel arch.

33. Tighten the upper fastening nut of the shock absorber strut. Do not tighten it.

34. Treat the shock strut mounting seat on the steering knuckle. Use WD-40 spray.

35. Fix the shock absorber strut on the steering knuckle. Install the new steering knuckle bolts.

36. Tighten the lower fasteners connecting the shock strut to the steering knuckle. Use a drive socket #15.

Use a combination spanner #17. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 85 Nm torque.

37. Remove the support from under the steering knuckle.

38. Connect the fastener of the ABS sensor cable to the shock absorber strut. Fasten the brake hose on the strut.

39. Secure the stabilizer link on the suspension strut. Use box wrench #18.

Use a drive socket #18. Use HEX No.H5.

Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 65 Nm torque.

40. Clean the wheel rim mounting seat. Use a wire brush.

Treat the contacting surface. Use copper grease.

41. Screw in the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19.

AUTODOC recommends: To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when screwing in the fastening bolts.

42. Tighten the shock strut top mount. Use a combination spanner #19. Use HEX No.H7.

Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 50 Nm torque.

43. Install and secure the cowl grille.

44. Lower the car and working in a cross order, tighten the wheel bolts.

Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 110 Nm torque.

6. Unscrew the fasteners connecting the stabiliser link to the stabiliser bar. Use box wrench #18. Use HEX No.H5.

7. Remove the stabilizer rod.

8. Clean all joints of the stabiliser link. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

9. Install a new rod, tighten the fasteners. Use box wrench #18. Use a drive socket #18. Use HEX No.H5. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 55 Nm torque.

10. Clean the wheel rim mounting seat. Use a wire brush. Treat the contacting surface. Use copper grease.

11. Screw in the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19.

AUTODOC recommends: To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when screwing in the fastening bolts.

12. Lower the car.

13. Tighten the wheel bolts using a criss-cross pattern. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 110 Nm torque.

1. Prepare the new windscreen wipers.

2. Pull the wiper arm away from the glass surface until it stops.

3. Press the clip. Remove the blade from the wiper arm.

AUTODOC recommends: When replacing the wiper blade, take caution to prevent the spring-loaded wiper arm from hitting the glass.

4. Install the new wiper blade and carefully press the wiper arm down to the glass.

AUTODOC recommends: Don't touch the wiper blade at the working rubber edge to prevent damage to the graphite coating.  Ensure that the blade rubber strip fits tightly to the glass along the entire length.

5. Pull the wiper arm away from the glass surface until it stops.

6. Press the clip. Remove the blade from the wiper arm.

7. Install the new wiper blade and carefully press the wiper arm down to the glass.

8. Switch on the ignition.

1. Detach the air intake hose clamp. Use a flat screwdriver.

2. Detach the crankcase ventilation hose clamp. Use a flat screwdriver.

3. Unscrew the engine cover fastener. Use a drive socket #8. Use a ratchet wrench.

4. Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter housing.

5. Remove the engine cover assembled with the air filter housing.

6. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the air duct.

7. Cover the air intake hose with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system.

8. Unscrew the crankcase ventilation hose fasteners. Use a drive socket #13.Use a ratchet wrench.

9. Release the plastic fasteners of the ignition coil connectors. Use flat screwdrivers (2 pieces).

10. Detach the crankcase ventilation hose clamp from the distribution valve. Use a flat screwdriver. Remove the crankcase ventilation hose.

11. Unplug the connector from the camshaft position sensor.

12. Unscrew the fastener of the chassis (ground) terminal of the ignition coils. Use a drive socket #10.

13. Unplug the connectors from the ignition coils.

14. Raise a little the wiring of the ignition coils and move it aside.

15. Unscrew the ignition coil bracket. Use a drive socket #10.

16. Take out the ignition coil from the spark plug well.

AUTODOC recommends: Remember the sequence of steps for ignition coil demounting.

17. Clean dirt, dust and debris from inside the spark plug wells.

18. Unscrew the spark plugs. Use the spark plug socket #16. Use a ratchet wrench.

19. Take out the spark plugs.

20. Apply a thin layer of a special high temperature anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the new spark plugs. Treat the surface of the terminals of the new spark plugs. Use electronic spray.

21. Install the new spark plugs into their mounting seats.

22. Screw new spark plugs and tighten them. Use the spark plug socket #16. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 27 nm torque.

AUTODOC recommends: Don't tighten the plugs with excessive force. Exceeding tightening torque can damage the thread connection.

Be careful when working with a spark plug wrench. Its skewing can cause damage to the threaded connection.

23. Install the ignition coils to the spark plug wells. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.

AUTODOC recommends: Follow the installation sequence.

24. Tighten the fasteners of the ignition coils. Use a drive socket #10.

Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 8 Nm torque.

25. Secure the wiring of the ignition coils in its mounting seats.

26. Plug in the connectors of the ignition coils.

27. Plug the connector in the camshaft position sensor.

28. Tighten the chassis (ground) terminal of the ignition coils. Use a drive socket #10.

29. Screw in the fasteners of the crankcase ventilation hose. Use a drive socket #13.

30. Attach the crankcase ventilation hose to the PCV valve.

Install the clamp of the crankcase ventilation hose. Use combination pliers.

31. Remove the microfibre towel from the air intake hose.

32. Install the engine cover and secure it.

AUTODOC recommends: Make sure the engine cover is properly seated. It should not be displaced with respect to the guiding fasteners.

Do not apply excessive force when installing the part. Otherwise you may damage the fasteners.

33. Connect the crankcase ventilation hose to the air duct.

34. Screw in the engine cover fasteners. Use a drive socket #10.

35. Connect the air intake pipe to the air filter housing.

36. Fasten the clamp on the air intake hose. Use combination pliers.

37. Fasten the clamp on the crankcase ventilation hose. Use combination pliers.

38. Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
