Mini-Review | Safari Condo Savana LDX | Affordable Family Camper Van Built on the Chevy Chassis - Duration: 10:25.

Hi everyone and welcome to Ultramobility Mini-Review where I give you just the essentials in a

5 minute, unsponsored RV review.

I'm your host Neil Balthaser and today we're heading up into the Great White North (à

la Belle Province qui s'appelle Québec!

Bonjour à tous mes amis Québecois!) to check one of the 3 camper van manufacturers that

made it onto my short list when I purchased my current RV.

We're going to be taking a look at the Savana LDX by Safari Condo.

Safari Condo emphasizes European-inspired product designs which bring a youthful and

modern touch to camper vans.

They emphasize ingenious and innovative solutions for maximizing interior living space - and

you're going to see that today.

They offer a variety of different floor plans and layouts for a variety of different chassis.

Currently they build for the Sprinter, Promaster and GMC/Chevy chassis.

But it's the GMC and Chevy chassis that interests me.

There just aren't many camper vans built on a GMC chassis here in North America.

The Roadtrek Popular line is built on a modified Chevy Express; New West - a direct to consumer

manufacturer for the Canadian market has 3 models built on an unmodified Chevy Express

and Safari Condo who has 4 models built on the GMC Savana cargo van.

The MX built on the 18' chassis, and 3 built on the 20' chassis: The LX with 2 refrigerators,

the LSX which can seat 6 passengers in 3pt seatbelts and the model we're taking a look

at today the LDX with a fixed flush toilet and an innovative shower design.

You have a variety of engine choices to meet your needs.

There's the standard 4.3L V6 engine with an 8 speed transmission that's capable of delivering

up to 276HP and 298 lb.-ft. of torque; the Vortec 6.0L V8 with alternative fuel option

offers 341hp and 373 lb.-ft. of torque in a 6 speed transmission.

Let's have a look at the exterior.

With the exception of the awning it looks just like a normal passenger van.

This van is great for stealth camping and most HOAs would likely not have a problem

with it.

Its length is 20'.

It's overall width with mirrors extended is 13'.

It's height with the top down is 8' and these dimensions mean this van is going to drive

just like a car and will park in any parking spot and even in some garages.

Unlike its competitors Safari Condo also gives you a choice of roofs.

The standard roof is a low-profile canvas roof with good headroom and the possibility

of an optional overhead bed.

You can upgrade to the full-height canvas roof which has more headroom and an optional

overhead bed as well or the electric roof with rigid side walls or T.O.P.S. roof with

superior insulation and soundproofing.

Let's head inside now and see all that this van has to offer!

There are 3 layout options available on the 20 foot Savana chassis: The LX which is the

most open and spacious but is lacking a front lounge, the LSX has a front lounge but is

lacking an interior shower and the LDX which we're reviewing today has a front lounge and

an innovative, space-saving shower.

Here we are in the entry way of the LDX looking into the van.

In the back is a bench seat with 2 3-pt. seat belts and headrests, your galley mid-section

and up front is a dinette.

This LDX model has the electric pop-top with rigid sidewalls and here's what it looks like

in its lowered position.

When the roof is lowered the interior standing height is 5.5'.

And here the roof is in its raised position and the interior height is 6'3".

If you get opt to get one of the other two canvas pop tops then the interior standing

height increases to 7'.

On this rigid side walls version those windows slide open at the top and let lots of light

in.

Starting in the back, you can flip out a hide-away table top from the cabinets and have a second

lounge or computer workstation.

The bench seat lowers to become a 51"x76" bed - just long enough to accommodate a 6'3"

tall person.

Moving mid-section to the galley you've got a better equipped galley than you might find

on competing pop-top models: starting with a two burner stove and a standard microwave

and plenty of prep space when you use that hide-away table in the rear.

Rounding things out you have a marine style sink and a 3.5 cu.ft. compressor refrigerator.

Since this coach has both a microwave and compressor driven refrigerator let's talk

electrical systems: This coach is powered by 2 6V AGM lead acid batteries.

There is no lithium battery upgrade but you could replace those batteries with drop in

lithium batteries from Smart Battery or Battle Born batteries if you like.

The coach comes with a 1500w inverter.

That inverter is a modified pure sine wave inverter but you can upgrade to a more preferably

1500w pure sine wave inverter.

There is not generator, the batteries are recharged from the chassis' 150amp alternator

although again if you wanted you could purchase a portable, quiet generator and stow it in

the back.

Up to 380w of solar is optional and that's more than the Tofino by Pleasureway or the

Envy by Recon.

Moving on up to the front we have the dinette and a second living area - pretty incredible

for a van this size.

The cab seats do swivel and 3 people can sit up here comfortably.

There's an optional island table with integrated cup holders that can be placed between the

two cab seats as well.

An optional front bed system for across the cab seats can sleep 1 person.

And on the standard or extended canvas roofs, an optional 48"x76" sliding loft bed can accommodate

another 2 people so this van can sleep 5 people and has proper 3-pt seat belts for 4.

And that's the way to do a true family camper van.

And if squeezing all this into a 20' van wasn't enough, Safari Condo has also given us something

that neither the Tofino nor the Recon Camper offers and that's a proper fixed toilet and

interior shower!

Take a look at this: Hidden under this front bench is a fixed toilet!

To convert it into a shower just lift up the seat back to create a wall, flip the bottom

of the bench up to create a second wall, flip up the floor to expose your drain pan and

voila you've got a large shower area.

It's an interior shower and toilet that works and cleverly gets out of the way when not

needed.

I think its brilliant.

So how does the conversion process work?

Well if you live in Canada you can simply find a Safari Condo dealer and buy one off

their lot.

The MSRP for the entry level model is $95k Canadian dollars or around $72k US dollars

and that price includes the van.

If you're in the United States Safari Condo will sell to you direct.

You'll need to purchase and then drop off a new Savana chassis at Safari Condo's factory

in Quebec.

After the conversion is completed you'll just drive it back over the border.

Production wait times vary and can be up to a year but Safari Condo has been expanding

their production capabilities to meet increasing demand.

You should call them to confirm current wait times.

and to maintain and has a huge service center network; and can fit into many garages and

has 3-pt seat belts and sleeping accommodations for 6 then you should consider the Savana

lineup by Safari Condo.

There's a ton of floor plans to meet your needs and best of all it comes with a 5 year

coach warranty.

outfit that I want to show you from Shein.com it's a turtleneck with

long sleeves kind of mini dress extremely form-fitting extremely thin

material I have to say all of the items that I showed today we're going to be

listed in the description below here's the back of the dress you know

just a regular long sleeve kind of turtleneck but it doesn't like choke you

at the top you know like some turtlenecks do I picked for kind of

different items than you might consider as typical Valentine's Day clothing to

wear in this one I think kind of represents well maybe like the stem of a

rose or something you know what I mean because everybody else is gonna be

wearing red you don't want to fit in with the crowd you're gonna want to

stand out right it's okay to be the stem that's what I'm saying

but the flower is prettier I'm glad you said that because you know what stems

are great too stems are strong stems have the thorns in them without the stem

there wouldn't be a flower so this is the first outfit let me show you the

second one so here's the next outfit I think this is so so cute oh my god I

can't wait to wear this sound like a vacation I guess this could tie in to

Valentine's Day if you and your partner are but are they're living in a warm

climate and on a casual lunch or something for

Valentine's Day or if you're going on a tropical vacation for Valentine's Day

which I would much prefer the latter I think this dress is so sunny and cute

and so easy to wear and just like throw on it's comfortable it's so so so cute I

cannot wait to go on another vacation vacations are all I really think about

and I constantly have like a bag packed with warm weather attire and vacation

ready essentials and I'm actually gonna throw this one right into that bag

because I'm that antsy to go on vacation cannot wait to go on vacation with this

cute little number what do you guys think of this I don't often wear like

cutesy stuff I don't feel like on my youtube-channel but this is something I

would wear like every day hopefully you'll see me vlog and like live my life

and this in the summer so yeah love this one let me show you the next outfit so

here is another gorgeous dress it is a white sequin mini dress this also I

chose because it goes again along the lines of not wanting to dress like

everybody else this Valentine's Day I guess I just feel like being different

is something special and I don't know who would want to fit in right so that's

why I chose this one actually the straps it's just a chain halter top as the

strap so it's it's quite like revealing I feel like it's super sure and I'm

going to show you the back just how kind of open the back is you could always

throw a sweater on over and maybe feel a little bit more comfortable I'll back up

to show you the full front of this outfit showing up to the melting pot in

this it's gonna I mean obviously turn some heads alright so here's the back as

you can see it is just this halter strap that is a chain and then the back is

completely bare I guess down to here which just zips up

and then is sort of like a mini dress so yeah this one beautiful I think it goes

really well with these pantyhose that reset me because everything's just like

shiny you're shining bright like a diamond then this darling

alright let me show you the last item alright so here is the last outfit

I had this shirt previously what I'm wanting to display today as part of this

giant collaboration is actually this this skirt this is the only kind of red

item that I picked and it kind of reminds me of a kilt which is why I love

it so much kilts are nice bagpipes are better who

doesn't love a little bagpipe music you don't need to be in Scotland to

celebrate Valentine's Day and at artined tartan skirt such as this one it's also

just it's just real cute it's just like Oh am i wearing red I didn't even know I

was actually going to a parade has two little slits in the front which is super

cute oh and I try I'm wearing different colored pantyhose um the ones that Ray

got me came in two different colors one is like a cream color and the other is

this I don't know what do you think of this because if it came in a 2-pack with

two different colors you know one would assume that I could wear both but I'm so

conditioned to think that it should match the color of my skin that I don't

know if this is even appropriate to wear these are pretty because they look even

shinier and though and I like that look so I'm really just not sure am I just

like only supposed to wear the cream-colored ones um I don't know I

don't know why what else would have come with two different colors if I'm not

supposed to wear one of them I don't know I hope you enjoyed this video thank

Funko Disney Princess Romance Series Beauty & The Beast Unboxing Mini Vinyl 2 Pack Figure Review - Duration: 10:01.

tale as old as time hey guys me who supersorrell that your

arrows tuning in so today we've got something a little special it's

Valentine's Day so there's no better day to review this pack than then we got a

package from EMP mrs. soup sorrel bought this bright thought I'd beat it to the

review because I'm a nice guy but my soups are will be put in her own review

in her own spin on this video I want her channel check out mrs. supersorrell in

the link in the description below because she doesn't have her own channel

now poor guys well let's open this up so this is from

EMP and we decided to pick up the new Disney Beauty and the Beast

Funko romance series now in this series you can get Beauty the Beast which is

mine and mrs. soules favorite but you can also get Tiana and Naveen which we

also have an order they should be arriving real soon

arrow Ariel and Eric and also Flynn and Rapunzel

but for Valentine's Day there's no better couple than meeting the Beast now

they do come in this awesome little case which you can pull out from the back

here and it just separates into two pieces meaning you can be split in this

awesome black case with the love half which is a perfect gift I think for

Valentine's Day it's just such a nice beautiful pack look at it it's awesome I

really like this one so much and yeah it's nice designed by Funko I really

like how they've made this and so he's an official Funko products you see from

the Funko labels and things and he's from official Disney Princess line is a

two parking it is $14.99 these are in keeping with the new sort of 5 star and

characters that they've been producing I think they're kind of in scale with

those and these two look awesome and I can't wait to bust them out the

packaging there's a link in the description to emps websites where you

can pick this up they don't pay me to say this they haven't given us this or

anything we've bought this with our own money and yeah I started leave a link in

the description where you can pick these series up we are gonna get the rest of

these it doesn't look like there's any review

of this online rarely yet I've only seen like I think one video which is got like

20 hits so I don't think these have been out very long okay so if we're

separating it from the box it just comes apart nicely it's a nice display window

as well like that on the box itself it has all the sort of it has the rows and

things built into the design which is nice

alright fact that it's nice and glittery gold there is a nice gold at the battle

a on the box as well because of the bells golden dress so it gives them a

nice weave golden glow that's just one of the EMP box outlay and here they are

guys they are awesome all these are still wedged in the

prison's you get rid of the little plastic key

fits you know super junior don't her eating them soul because she doesn't

know I'm doing this video yeah I've kinda beat them to it I feel really bad

for them also enjoying it so here we are how did the packaging guys for the first

time let's take a look at beasts first of all so these have no articulated

points or anything like that and they don't move anything they are static

statuettes and I like this this is obviously the moon

he takes Belle's arm and walks into the ballroom which is the scene as they have

set up on the TV right now as a backdrop for the desk count and I thought this

goes over it's over hand nicely behind his back there is a little bit of a

paint bleeding issue there is a little bit of scuffing here and his arm but

other than that that's really the only pain issue I can find at this time the

rest of the pain tap seemed very well done I like the blue bow in his hair as

well that's very in keeping with the traditional beast I was a business like

a try point like three so it holds him to stand him up properly because his

foot is like slightly forward and so the three with the tail and stuff it does

make you lean backwards a little bit which is nice and gives him more of a a

standing point although he is struggling to stand actually I don't think standing

was taken into account with these I think these were meant to be displayed

in the box really to be fair and then here is Belle now she's got her arm out

ready to take beasts arm and walk into the ballroom which is really sweet again

her gown is very nicely designed I like how they've done it and the hairs all

done as well like in the film with the nice yellow bow around the back very

nicely done what do you guys think of these think

these are nice yeah I think we've done a great job in bringing these to life so

what I'm gonna do guys I'm gonna go to the desk Amman to give you guys no close

personal look at Belle and beast and of course then and you'll be able to get

up-close personal look at these figures miss soups are like said we'll be

putting her own spin of this review online at some point and I want to get

this online for Valentine's Day as and it's a very nice box set and he's a very

nice gift idea if he's still billeted looking for gifts of Valentine's Day for

going out shopping for your partner and you know today or anything before you

see them tonight this is a really good set to pick up but guys I'm gonna go to

the desk I'll give you guys know close personal look tale as old as time song

Beauty and the Beast I like how that looks guys that looks really cute love

that like that just you know how this looks from my angle my makeshift

ballroom scene yeah and the reason why I've got this so high I take these two

down remove this now sorry I had to show you guys a little bit behind the scenes

magic because the photos look brilliant but the actual the way I love to capture

is just insane so guys let go saying this is a perfect set for Valentine's

Day they look awesome on the backdrop what do you guys think let me know in

figures because they are really cool so guys I really do think fun curve did a

great job bringing this set to life being the Beast is awesome I really like

how these look they've done a great job and yeah I think they really should make

more of these I think these are really cool says now that I know that's all you

can make them look like that like the villains are locking their arms and

things it just looked more animated and really cool and yeah I really want more

of these kind of figures and they're why stop at the Roman series why can't wake

up I got some heroes vs. villains and things like that but it'd be sick it's

very rare when you find some Disney sort of fun cuz they look really cool and I

think these definitely hit the nail on the head for me what do you guys think

2020 Mini JCW GP Shows Wild Production Bodykit For The First Time - Duration: 2:13.

It was just hours ago that Mini released official teaser images and details regarding its most powerful car ever, the John Cooper Works GP

Now, we can admire this extreme Mini in a batch of fresh spy shots, the first to reveal the final production car – following the JCW GP Concept's debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, we've only seen mules during testing, but never the real deal

That changes today as these spy images are the first that show the production model in all its (camouflaged) glory

As you can see, this little car means business, adopting the meanest body kit we've ever seen fitted to a production Mini Hatch (or Hardtop as it is marketed in America)

The highlight is obviously the massive split rear wing that looks taken straight from a race car, yet the JCW GP still has more tricks up its sleeves

Those include the add-on fender flares (much smaller than the concept's) and the aggressive bumpers that feature a splitter at the front and a diffuser at the rear

Other distinctive design cues are the central dual exhaust tailpipes and the wide wheels

The GP package also brings bigger brakes and a tweaked suspension, as well as lightweight materials

To make the car as light as possible, a rear seat delete should also be in the cards, at least as an option

Limited to 3,000 units, the Mini JCW GP packs a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine making more than 300 horsepower

The fastest and most powerful Mini ever approved for street use is expected to debut in late 2019 (possibly at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September), with deliveries to follow in early 2020
