Did you know that you can unlock your car and start it without using a key?

It's called Intelligent Access with push-button start and

can be used on the front doors or on some models, all four doors.

Let me explain.

With your key fob in your possession, such as in your pocket or purse,

you can unlock the doors, start the ignition, and lock all of your doors.

To unlock your doors, touch the unlock sensor on the backside of the door handle

for about a half a second, being sure not to touch the lock sensor on the front

simultaneously as it requires a brief delay to verify your unique key fob.

Then pull, and you're in.

To lock your doors, simply press the sensor on the door handle for

about a half a second.

It'll have ridges or a square sensor, like this.

Be sure not to touch the unlock sensor on the back of the handle.

When you hear them click, you'll know they're locked.

But you can also immediately pull on it to confirm locking.

Or you can press the lock button on the inside door panel before closing the door,

and it will automatically lock.

You can also open your trunk or lift gate without using the key

by pressing the soft button switch located either just above or

below the license plate or in the lift gate handle.

To start your vehicle, once inside just press and

hold the brake pedal while you push the engine start stop button.

To turn it off, be sure the vehicle is in park and push the start stop button again.

If at anytime the battery in your remote dies or the signal is interrupted,

you can use the removable key inside to unlock the driver's door.

Just press the button on the front of key fob and slide the key out.

Now, depending on which model you have,

you can either insert it into the exposed key cylinder and turn it to unlock.

Or you may need to insert the key into the slot located

underneath the drivers door handle, and

push up until you feel the internal tab flex and unlocks the plastic bezel.

Then slide the bezel back to completely remove it.

You'll be able to access the key cylinder and unlock your door.

To replace the bezel,

slide it forward until you feel it snap into the lock position.

Or pull the door handle out, when you do,

you'll notice the key cylinder is located at the end of the handle, here.

Just insert the key and turn to unlock.

Once you're in, there's a pocket in the center console made just for the key fob.

It'll allow you to start your car.

Place the key fob in the slot with the buttons facing up and

the unlock button toward the front of the vehicle.

Keep in mind, because the key is programmed to your car, if you lose it,

you'll need to contact your dealer for a replacement.

One more thing.

To help prevent locking the key fob inside of the vehicle when using the door lock,

depending on how the vehicle is set up, if left inside,

you may hear a horn chirp indicating the fob has been left in the vehicle.

And the doors will not lock.

How To Check The Tire Pressure On Your 2017 Ford F-150 - Duration: 2:19.

Hello everyone, I'm Willie Beyer from Holiday Ford and today we're gonna talk to you about

how to check your tire pressure on your 2017 Ford F-150.

Checking your tire pressure is fairly simple, easy to do at home, and we're gonna show you

how.

From time to time, you might get a low tire light on the dash of your 2017 Ford F-150.

The low tire light is gonna be an amber light with an exclamation point on it, and what

looks like a horseshoe underneath it.

If that light comes on, you'll also get a warning message showing you which tire is

low.

On this particular vehicle, the front left tire is down to 21 psi.

To check the correct amount of tire pressure your vehicle needs, you simply have to open

your door.

Take a look inside, and the tire card will give you the size, and proper inflation for

each tire.

This particular tire is 35 psi.

You're simply gonna go down to the tire, remove the valve stem cap.

Once the valve stem caps' removed, you can use a tire pressure checking tool,

to find out what the pressure is.

This particular tire pressure is at 20.7 pounds.

The next step is to add air, putting the proper amount of air in.

Once you've added the proper amount of air, simply reinstall your valve stem cap,

hop in your truck, fire up the engine, and take it for a quick road test.

You only really need to go down the road about a block or so before that tire light will

come off the dash, and you're all set to roll.

Hopefully these tips are helpful for you, whenever you see that low tire pressure light

on your dash and your tires are low.
