These Lange Black Mirrors with Delrin Mirror Heads are for those of you that have a 2007

and up JK that are looking for a set of mirrors that you can run when the doors are not on

your Jeep to keep you legal and to also to keep you safe.

Now, when you're looking at mirrors there are gonna be a couple different options for

you.

You're gonna be able to get a kit that will move your factory mirrors from the doors onto

the A-pillars permanently.

They're gonna be there all the time, and then when you take the doors on and off you don't

have to worry about your mirrors.

They're always going to be there.

There are gonna be kits that will have a quick disconnect bracket that will go on your A-pillar

so you will take your doors off including your factory mirrors and then put an after-market

quick-disconnect mirror onto that bracket.

And that bracket will always be on your A-pillar but of course, the mirror will always come

off of that.

And then there is an option that is like this.

This option here is where you will take your door with the factory mirror off and then

set this setup over the top of your door hinge and that will be what holds your mirror in

place when you don't have any doors on your Jeep.

Now there is absolutely nothing wrong with this setup.

It is one additional step every time you take the door on and off you'll also have to take

mirrors on and off.

Unlike that option that moves your mirrors from the door to the A-pillar permanently.

However these mirrors are going to be a lot easier to see out of than those other versions.

Those other versions will move the mirrors forward a little bit so it's a little tougher

to see out of them especially that passenger side mirror.

So that's why a lot of people like this kit, this kit's also going to be a little bit less

expensive and it keeps a complete stock appearance of the Jeep when the Jeep is in its stock

form with the doors in place and the mirrors in the garage.

These because they are quick disconnect makes them a very easy install definitely one out

of three wrenches, five minutes or less especially after the first time when you get these things

set up.

It's gonna take no time at all to get them get popped on and off which is a really nice

feature.

As far as construction goes a couple of these items are going to be aluminum.

The rest is going to be those Delrin Mirrors Heads with of course the mirror itself which

is a plastic material.

Now the arms and the brackets are aluminum so they are going to hold up really well.

You don't have to worry about any kind of rust on these.

They're going to be just anodized aluminum.

Again they're gonna hold up really, really well for you.

And then you're going to have that Delrin Mirror Head that isn't gonna rust because

it is a plastic material, and these mirrors themselves that are plastic as well.

So everything is going to be very, very durable.

And these do come with thumb screws that's going to help these brackets tighten down

on those door hinges when you have them installed.

That way they're not gonna rattle, move around, or try and fly off on you.

So it really does come with everything you're gonna need to get these mirrors installed,

That installation process is going to be a one out of three wrench install.

Less than 15 minutes to get these installed because again they're a quick disconnect mirror.

So you're gonna be taking them on and off all the time you want that to be a very simple

process for yourself, and that's what Lange did here.

They made this very, very simple.

So all you have to do is remove your door, there is going to be a small protective button

that you're going to attach onto your door hinge.

And that's going to be for where the thumbscrews tightens down, because, of course, you don't

want that thumb screw biting directly into the painted surface of that door hinge.

So you have a little protective button there.

Then you can slide the bracket over the top of the door hinge, the mirror onto the arm

and finally attach the arm into the bracket and tighten down that thumb screw.

Now that whole process only has to happen once.

After everything is attached it's really just a one-step process of loosening up that thumb

screw and removing the whole mirror as one piece and setting it aside.

So that main assembly process is something that only has to happen once.

The rest of the install and uninstall every time you take the doors on and off is very,

very quick.

These mirrors come in at $70 which is a pretty fair price for what you're getting in my opinion.

There are going to be a lot of other mirrors out there.

A lot of them are going to be a lower quality steel and plastic construction.

You may have some issues with rusting in those scenarios.

An issue that a lot of people will have with other mirrors when they are a mirror that

is the style like the quick disconnect mirror is that they'll move, they'll either fold

down when you're at highway speed, they'll rattle so much you can hardly even see out

of them.

These ones are going to be a very solid mirror.

The way that they mount on those door hinges makes them very, very solid.

The fact that the arms are aluminum that's anodized instead of painted steel means you're

not gonna have any rust issues with those.

And then the fact that you're getting a Delrin Mirror Head again this is gonna hold up for

a very, very long time.

So I think this is a scenario where you might have to pay a few dollars more for this kit

over some of the others out there, but you're gonna get a great quality product and you're

gonna get a lot of longevity out of your dollar.

So if you're looking for a very high-quality set of quick disconnect mirrors for your JK

I definitely recommend taking a look at this option from Lange and you can find it right

here at extremeterrain.com.

Jeep Wrangler MBRP Installer Series Cat Back Exhaust (2007-2011 JK 4 Door) Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 6:59.

This MBRP installer series cat back exhausted system with the muffler relocation is for

those of you that have a 4-door, 2007 to 2011 JK that are looking for an exhaust system

that's going to give you a louder exhaust node, a lower exhaust tone, and also going

to relocate that muffler to an area where it's not going to get banged up on the trail

quite as much as it otherwise would.

This system, as with most other aftermarket exhaust for your JK is going to be a very

easy system to install.

Definitely a one out of three wrench installation here.

Shouldn't take you more than two hours to get installed.

Probably less than that, but we'll talk a little bit more about that in just a second.

So everything is gonna be nice and tucked up out of the way, again, for those of you

that are doing a little bit more rock crawling and off-roading.

Now if you're looking for the highest tuck system with the least amount of piping, there

are some other options out there that are going to dump right after the muffler in the

same position that this is, instead of having this larger over axle pipe that still exits

to the back.

Those systems are in general going to be a bit louder because they don't have quite as

much piping.

If you want something louder, if you want something that's a higher tuck, those options

are available.

But this is still going to be a pretty aggressive system that's gonna be great for those of

you that are gonna be going off-road.

Our MBRP is able to keep the cost of this system down a little bit because this is going

to be built of aluminized steel instead of stainless steel.

Now stainless steel's gonna get holed up even better than the aluminized will to rusting

conditions.

There are a couple of different grades of stainless that are going to be of varying

qualities and varying costs.

But this is aluminized so it's gonna need to be a little bit more susceptible to rust,

but it's also going to be a little less expensive than some of the other options that you might

find.

You're gonna have all the parts and pieces that you're gonna need to get this installed

onto your 4-door JK, including all of the clamps that I don't have on the table here

today.

That includes your extension pipe, it's, of course, going to include your muffler, your

over axle and tailpipe.

So it is a very complete system.

This is all going to be two and a half inch piping which is the same diameter as your

factory piping.

All these bends are mandrel bend, which essentially means there's a piece that goes inside the

pipe as well as outside the pipe.

So when you're getting those bends made, you're not having any tinking of the pipes.

So you have a nice flow, you're not having any restrictive points.

And overall I do think it's a well-built system.

I've seen systems by a lot of those top-end brands, with bigger-name brands, much more

expensive systems that don't have as nice of welds on them as this system does.

So I do think it's a well put-together system and I think you're gonna get a lot for your

money here.

Speaking of money again, aluminized, non-stainless also doesn't have a polished tip.

It's not a black system that's ceramic coated.

None of that.

This is really more of a no-frills system.

And you are gonna be able to save a bit of money because of that.

So for the installation again we're gonna give it a one out of three wenches.

Very easy to bolt this up in less than two hours.

The first step is, of course, removing all of your factory exhaust components.

You'll start by removing the muffler off the back of the jeep.

And then the extension pipe that goes from the collector of the headers all the way back

to that muffler system.

That's really going to be that whole system there.

Everything is gonna come off from the collector on the headers all the way back.

You're going to be reusing all of your factory hanging points, all of your factory hangers.

These are designed to go right onto those.

So there's no modification of the Jeep necessary, it will make things nice and easy.

And this does come with all of your clamps.

So if you have a factory system that's a little bit rusty, go ahead and get it out.

Then you Sawzall, cut it up and get it out there any way you can.

You're not gonna be reusing any of those clamps but again the hangers you do wanna leave intact.

That being said, your system is not overly rusty, hitting it with a good penetrating

oil well before you get started with the installation is definitely going to help speed the install

along.

Once all of that stuff is removed, you'll go ahead and install your new system.

You're going to have your extension pipe on your 4-door, followed by your muffler.

Then you're going to have this next tailpipe piece here.

And finally your over-axle and your exit that's going to go in place.

You'll start from the front, working your way to the back leaving all of your clamps

loose at first.

Then you'll go back through the system again starting at the front and tighten everything

down to ensure that everything is lined up exactly how you like it.

This system comes in right around $260, which I do think is gonna be a really good deal

for what you're getting here.

If you step up to one of those bigger brand names, you are going to pay a little more

just for the name.

And then their systems are also going to be available in high grades of stainless steel,

which are going to all add cost.

They're going to have polished tips, we're gonna to be getting into systems that are

offered in a black ceramic coating.

All these things add cost.

This is going to be a little bit more of a bare-bones, no-frills system that's still

going to work very well, install very easily and get the job done, but save you some money.

So if you're looking for a less expensive cat-back system on your JK that's still going

to relocate the muffler, give you less stuff to crush when you're off-road, I definitely

recommend taking a look at this system from MBRP and you can find it right here at extremeterrain.com

Jeep Wrangler Dirty Dog 4x4 Front, Rear & Back Sun Screen (2007-2017 JK 4 Door) Review & Install - Duration: 5:38.

We all love driving without our top on our Jeeps in the summer, but sometimes it can

get too hot and too sunny, leaving you stuck with your top on.

That is I'm happy to say until now.

This full-screen kit by Dirty Dog is just for you if you have a four-door JK and want

that open-air driving experience without being roasted.

This top will protect you from the sun and its very harmful UV rays, making sunburn and

a fading interior two less things to worry about when you have your top down.

With that, the mesh will still keep the air flowing and keep the cabin environment cooler.

Now, to mention, this will keep the glare out of your eyes from front to back, making

you more comfortable when you're driving.

Since this only attaches with some buckles and straps and bungee cords it's a very easy

one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, and I'll go more into the install in

just a bit.

The screen on this is very similar to other mesh tops that we offer.

This is a black UV protective fabric that will keep up to 70% of sunlight and UV rays

out.

Even though it stops 70% of the sunlight, this mesh will still allow light and air through,

still keeping a comfortable driving experience.

Like I said, this attaches to the roll bar with heavy-duty nylon straps and buckles as

well as a couple bungee cords, so this makes it really easy to install and uninstall, and

you can easily adjust the tension and positioning whenever you'd like.

Because this does not need a header assembly like other options that we offer on the site,

this works in conjunction with your soft top or your hard top, so you can keep this on

all the time.

What I really like about this sunscreen combination is that Dirty Dog includes a rear cargo screen

that wraps all the way around the rear roll bar.

At this time we don't offer any other mesh tops that reach all the way back down to the

tailgate to shave the whole cargo area.

Most all other tops cover only half of that cargo space.

This is a nice modular set up so you can take off or keep on whatever piece you would like

without affecting any other screens.

You can even purchase all of them separately or in different combinations instead of this

one that I have here, if you're set on a particular configuration and if you wanna save a little

cash.

And on that note, this full kit cost right around $180 for the front seat, back seat

and rear cargo cover area.

Now, compared to other options, this is a little higher priced than some other mesh

tops.

Keep in mind this is still not the most expensive option that we offer and this comes with a

rear cargo cover giving the mesh top more to offer for a relatively lesser price.

Other less expensive options as you can expect will not cover the full cargo area, they are

not modular and they're gonna be more of a quick and simple solution to get that sun

protection.

Speaking of the modular setup, like I said before, this is offered in a couple different

combinations.

You can get the front, back and rear in a full kit or they're available separately.

The front and back are offered together as well and Dirty Dog has an option for the front

and back connected like a traditional mesh top.

This gives you options so you don't have to fully commit to a full kit and the screen

options are great if you don't want to buy all of the pieces together at the same time.

Each piece is around $70 by itself, so keep in mind that it will be about $30 more in

the long run when buying them all separately.

If you know Dirty Dog then you know that they make good quality products that will last

for a long time.

For a premium sunscreen that gives you maximum protection and a ton of options, I definitely

think that this is worth the money.

Like I said before this is a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter

because all the install consists of are a bunch of straps.

You won't need any tools or a header to get this installed and it should take you about

30 minutes to get everything all hooked up.

I would start with the front portion first with the front snaps on each of the footmen

loops on the windshield.

Then for the front corner straps, you can wrap it around the roll bar and hook the bungee

cord onto the hole in the inside of the A-pillar.

Moving to the back, feed the straps between the roll bar and the sound bar down and around

the roll bar securing it with the side ladder lock.

The same goes for the side just wrap the straps around the roll bar and through the ladder

lock.

For the rear, you're going to do the same thing that you just did for the front, you're

just going to do it in reverse.

You feed the front straps through the sound bar and the cross bar and attach them through

the ladder locks, and do the same for the sides, and then for the rear straps just wrap

them around the rear cross bar and secure them down by another ladder lock.

Lastly, for the back screen, you're gonna wrap the front straps around the rear cross

bar just like the back straps on the rear screen, and hook the bottom two bungees into

the hole in the body of the Jeep.

You can tighten everything and adjust everything as needed when it's all attached.

So, if you're looking for some sun protection in your Ford or JK, this sunscreen by Dirty

Dog is a great option to check out.

This is Meredith with XT and you can find this and everything else Wrangler right here

at extremetrain.com.
