We started investing in gas trucks for economic reasons.
When we started, diesel was really expensive.
And gas is competitive in terms of cost.
99% of our cargo is food,
either frozen or fresh, but also dry.
There is a growing number of food distribution clients in Spain,
who want eco-friendly transport,
For them, there are a number of benefits
such being able to promote a better image in terms of social responsibility
Right now, Transnugon's gas-driven fleet is around 58 vehicles,
which is over 25% of our whole fleet.
We have our own gas station
and therefore the gas is much cheaper.
Even if the diesel price has gone down,
we still save around 35% compared to diesel.
The Volvo FH LNG that we've been testing
is the first gas truck that meets the same expectations
that we have of conventional trucks.
It fits perfectly for a round trip to Madrid,
or for a short trip. It's a versatile and ideal truck.

The steering is really smooth,
it's very versatile.

We can't stick to the same routines just because that's the way it has always been done.
Our goal is to change the whole fleet to gas trucks.
We need to transform the company and stop using diesel
because using gas trucks is now possible.
