Alyssa Milano Attends Christine Blasey Ford Hearing | Heavy.com

Alyssa Milano, the actress, was spotted at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing where Dr.

Christine Blasey Ford was scheduled to testify on September 27, 2018.

Milano was there as a guest of U.S.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, a California Democrat who received a letter from Ford over the summer and who has been criticized by Republicans for sitting on the information at first.

Here's a photo of Alyssa Milano at the hearing, where Brett Kavanaugh, Donald Trump's nominee to the U.S.

Supreme Court was scheduled to testify.

Andrew Desiderio, a reporter with the Daily Beast, posted the photo of Milano and reported that she was there.

"Alyssa Milano is here today as a guest of Sen.

Feinstein.

She recalled the 1991 Anita Hill hearing and told me she believes this time will be different.

(She also told me she likes my glasses,)" he wrote.

It's not clear why Feinstein would have invited Milano to the hearing.

However, she has been one of the Hollywood actresses active and most vocal in the #metoo movement.

A few hours before the hearing, Milano posted a video in support of sexual assault victims.

"I believe Dr.

Christine Blasey Ford," she wrote.

She has posted many times on the issue of sexual assault.

"#IfOnly I could save you.

#IfOnly I could help you remove that weight from your tired shoulders and become the joy of an unburdened you.

My prayer for all survivors of sexual assault.

#MeToo" she wrote.

Milano has also posted tweets about other accusations against Kavanaugh, all of which he has denied.

The accusation in the Ford/Kavanaugh case is 36-years-old and dates to when Kavanaugh was 17, a juvenile.

Blasey Ford – who was publicly testifying about the allegations before the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 27, 2018 – has alleged that Kavanaugh groped her while putting his hand over her mouth at a house party in the 1980s.

She then escaped.

Kavanaugh adamantly denies the accusations, and three other people Ford has said were at the party have denied any recollection of it (which would seem to present a serious evidentiary problem for any prosecutor considering charging).

Three friends and Ford's husband have submitted affidavits to the Senate saying that Ford told them about the alleged attack before President Donald Trump nominated Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

Blasey Ford has said there are things she can't remember – such as exactly when and where the alleged attack occurred – which could also present prosecutorial hurdles (and, as of now, no prosecutor has indicated they are considering lodging charges.) Ford's attorney says she passed a polygraph test and Ford says she told a therapist about the alleged attack several years ago, although the therapist's notes don't mention Kavanaugh's name.

Kavanaugh denies all of the accusations against him.

WATCH: Christine Ford Remembers 'Laughing' Between Kavanaugh and Judge | Heavy.com

During the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing for Christine Blasey Ford, one moment has quickly gone viral within the first hour of the hearing: Ford's recollection of Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge laughing at her while Kavanaugh allegedly assaulted her.

When Sen.

Patrick Leahy asked her what she most clearly remembered about the assault, Ford said ,"Indelible in the hippocampus is the laughter, the uproarious laughter between the two, and their having fun at my expense.".

"You've never forgotten that laughter?" Leahy asked.

"They were laughing with each other," Ford replied.

"I was underneath one of them while the two laughed.

Two friends having a really good time with one another.".

Two men claim THEY had 'encounter' with Christine Ford NOT Kavanaugh - Duration: 12:40.

Two different men have independently claimed they were involved in the sexual encounter described by Christine Blasey Ford and not Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh, it has been revealed

Both men claimed to the Senate Judiciary Committee that it was they who were involved in the incident at a high school party in 1982

Ford has accused Kavanaugh of pinning her to a bed and covering her mouth while trying to remove her clothing as his friend Mark Judge watched when she was 15 years old

The Senate Judiciary Committee said it interviewed the first man who came forward

Sen Chuck Grassley released a statement on Wednesday revealing the man 'believes he, not Judge Kavanaugh, had the encounter in question with Dr Ford'

On Wednesday, a day before both Ford and Kavanaugh are due to testify, the committee also spoke to another man who believes it was he who actually had the encounter with Ford in 1982 that is 'the basis of her allegation'

The committee said it interviewed the first man who took responsibility for the assault on September 24, according to Buzzfeed News

He was interviewed again on September 25 and 'described his recollection of their interaction in some detail', according to the committee

The committee received an 'in-depth written statement' from the man on September 26, the same day they received a phone call from another man claiming he had the encounter

'He explained his recollection of the details of the encounter,' the committee said

The committee did not release the identities of either men, nor did it reveal whether it found their accounts credible or worthy of following up

Unlike many states, Maryland does not have a statue of limitations for felony sexual offenses

Ford has maintained that she vividly remembers the assault with Kavanaugh. She has also passed a polygraph test

'It was hard for me to breathe, and I thought that Brett was accidentally going to kill me,' Ford wrote in her prepared remarks prior to Thursday's hearing

'Both Brett and Mark were drunkenly laughing during the attack. They both seemed to be having a good time

'Mark was urging Brett on, although at times he told Brett to stop. A couple of times I made eye contact with Mark and thought he might try to help me, but he did not

' Two men independently claiming they assaulted Ford when she was 15 years old come amid more lurid revelations about Kavanaugh's time at Georgetown Prep

Kavanaugh's nomination has opened the door to a shocking world of the children of Washington's wealthiest, who pay as much as $50,000 a year to exclusive schools which offer gilt-edged educations and entries into elite circles

And in the 1980s the exclusive all-boys school in Bethesda, Maryland was almost as infamous for its parties as it was for its ability to send boys to the Ivy League

'All of these Catholic schools were wild,' one woman who attended an exclusive Washington school for girls and whose brother attended Prep told AFP

'They have a wonderful reputation for education, and they also have a lot of bad boys

If it wasn't drinking, it was gambling,' she said.Kavanaugh has denied accusations that he sexually assaulted or abused women in some of those parties

But student yearbooks from Prep and other schools, including Holton-Arms academy - where one of his accusers went - testify to the rowdy party culture they lived at the time

The teens of the time clearly had money to burn and their own cars to get to weekly parties students held in massive suburban Washington homes, usually when parents were out of town

The Holton-Arms yearbooks note that invitations to Georgetown Prep parties were highly coveted, where the things of importance were 'boys and beers' and the main activity all-night drinking games

'Striving to extend our educational experience beyond the confines of the classroom, we played such intellectually stimulating games as Quarters, Mexican Dice, and everyone's favorite, Pass-Out, which usually resulted from the aforementioned two,' one student Holton-Arms student wrote

In his yearbook, Kavanaugh described himself as 'treasurer' of the 'Keg City Club,' adding '100 kegs or bust' - a reference to a pledge by a group of classmates to drink 100 kegs of beer before they graduate

Judge later wrote an entire book about the roots of his alcoholism at Georgetown Prep titled 'Wasted: Tales of a Gen X Drunk'

After the first beer, he recalled of an early party: 'I found it impossible to stop until I was completely annihilated'

He also referred to his pseudonymous friend 'Bart O'Kavanaugh' vomiting and passing out in a car after one late-night party

Until his nomination, Kavanaugh's life at Georgetown Prep was something he would joke about

'What happens at Georgetown Prep stays at Georgetown Prep,' Kavanaugh boasted in a 2015 commencement speech

But Kavanaugh has sung an entirely different tune since Ford and two other women have publicly come forward to accuse him of assault

'The vast majority of the time I spent in high school was studying or focused on sports and being a good friend to the boys and the girls that I was friends with,' he told Fox News on Monday

It was an image that stood in stark contrast to the wild - and horrific - parties Julie Swetnick claimed she witnessed in the 1980s

Swetnick said in an affidavit that she attended at least 10 parties with Kavanaugh and Judge between 1981 and 1983

She claims she saw them spiking 'punch' drinks with drugs and alcohol in order to get female partygoers incapacitated and run group sex 'trains' on them

Swetnick said she witnessed groups of boys raping the intoxicated girls, and saw boys lining up outside bedrooms to wait their turn to have group sex with the young women

'I also witnessed efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh and others to cause girls to become inebriated and disoriented so they could be 'gang-raped' in a side room or bedroom by a 'train' of numerous boys,' she said in her affidavit

'I have a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms at many of these parties waiting for their 'turn' with a girl inside the room,' she added

According to Swetnick, she saw Kavanaugh and Judge waiting in line during these group rape episodes

'In approximately 1982, I became a victim of one of these 'gang' or 'train' rapes where Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were present,' she said

'During the incident, I was incapacitated without my consent and unable to fight off the boys raping me

Democrat Senator Slips Ford's Lawyer An 'Envelope' Before Hearing - Duration: 3:58.

Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson of Texas was caught on camera Thursday morning handing

what appears to be an envelope to Michael Bromwich, the lawyer who represents Christine

Blasey Ford.

On Thursday, Ford testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about her allegations

that Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her roughly 36 years ago.

Kavanaugh strongly denies the allegations, and will be telling his side on Thursday afternoon.

Sign the official petition to tell Congress to confirm Brett Kavanaugh here.

But more importantly, what is Jackson handing to Bromwich before the hearing?

In the video clip below, Jackson can clearly be seen handing what looks like an envelope

to Bromwich while they secretly discuss something.

The entire incident took place just behind where Ford is sitting for the hearing.

Of course, there are a number of theories about what the document was, what might have

been in the envelope, and why Jackson suspiciously handed it to him while hiding behind Ford.

Also, Jackson is a member of the House of Representatives, not the U.S. Senate.

Why is she even there for the hearing?

The clip ignited a firestorm online, with many social media users asking what Jackson

slipped to Ford's lawyer before the hearing began.

Aside from it looking like a shady, back-door deal, it has not been a good day for Ford

and Democrats hoping her testimony would be detrimental to Kavanaugh's nomination.

Less than 30 minutes into the opening remarks of the hearing, Democrat Sen. Mazie Hirono

of Hawaii got busted sending out fundraising emails to her supporters.

Hirono wrote in the desperate email that she has been "fighting the Republicans who are

desperate to rush Brett Kavanaugh's nomination and deny a fair investigation into credible

sexual misconduct allegations against him."

The Democratic Senator serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee overseeing Thursday's

hearing, which will feature testimony from Ford and Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett

Kavanaugh.

Ford alleges Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her roughly 36 years ago.

Kavanaugh strongly denies the allegations.

Hirono has become one of the most extreme voices for the Left's anti-Kavanaugh movement,

recently demanding that President Donald Trump withdraw his nomination and claimed Kavanaugh's

"ideological agenda" was too conservative.

Sign the official petition to tell Congress to confirm Brett Kavanaugh here.

The fundraising email was so bad that even CNN reporter Kate Bennett tweeted out a screenshot

of it on Thursday morning: Later in the hearing, Ford came under fire

numerous times for offering misleading, inaccurate, and utterly ridiculous claims surrounding

her allegations.

One of the most notable exchanges came when Ford was asked by Rachel Mitchell — an Arizona

sex crimes prosecutor and expert leading the questions for Republicans — why she previously

claimed she was "terrified of flying on airplanes."

Despite her claim of being terrified to fly, Ford admitted that she has been on numerous

vacations this year, all of which she took an airplane to travel to.

In another clip, Ford literally admitted that it's easier to fly when she's going on

vacation than for her to fly to testify in Washington.

Whether it's Ford's allegations getting exposed, Democrats trying to exploit the situation

for money, or Jackson suspiciously slipping an envelope to Ford's lawyer — this has

been an awful day for the Democratic Party.

Lisa Banks Is the Woman Sitting Behind Christine Ford | Heavy.com - Duration: 4:51.

Lisa Banks Is the Woman Sitting Behind Christine Ford | Heavy.com

Who is the woman in the black blazer who is sitting behind Dr.

Christine Blasey Ford during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing gathering Ford's testimony into her allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh?.

The woman is Lisa Banks, an attorney for Christine Ford.

When Ford first entered the hearing room, Banks interacted with her in an empathetic fashion.

(Zina Bash, the woman sitting behind Brett Kavanaugh in a previous nomination hearing, became a point of controversy.).

Several people immediately spotted that the woman sitting behind Blasey Ford to her right – and who appeared on camera the most of anyone in the audience – was Lisa Banks.

Other people spotted in the audience included Keith Koegler, a friend of Blasey Ford's who submitted an affidavit saying that she told him about the alleged assault before Kavanaugh was nominated to the U.S.

Supreme Court.

Kavanaugh denies Blasey Ford's accusations and all others against him (two other women have accused him by name).

Here's what you need to know:.

Lisa Banks Works With Ford's Other Attorney Debra Katz.

Debra Katz, who, like Banks, is a Democratic donor, has received a lot of the news attention in representing Ford.

However, Lisa Banks is an attorney for the same law firm who is also involved in representing Ford.

They both work for the law firm Katz, Marshall, and Banks.

Lisa Banks and Debra Katz were supposed to host a fundraiser for Wisconsin Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin, but they pulled out of the event after representing Ford.

According to Banks's law firm bio:.

Lisa Banks has successfully litigated employment discrimination and whistleblower protection cases at the trial court and appellate level for over 20 years.

Banks is a founding partner of Katz, Marshall & Banks, LLP, where she concentrates her practice on claims related to employment discrimination, sexual harassment, Title IX, whistleblower retaliation, SEC and CFTC whistleblower tips, and contractual employment disputes.

Banks is an experienced advocate who has consistently achieved outstanding results on behalf of her clients either in court or through negotiated settlement.

Banks has significant experience in federal and state courts, including courts in D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Illinois, Colorado, and Tennessee, and has achieved success at all levels, including appeals in the Fourth, Sixth, Tenth, Eleventh, and D.C.

Circuits.

She has also represented numerous whistleblowers before the Department of Labor (DOL) in the transportation, nuclear, financial, and pharmaceutical industries.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee Was Just Caught Slipping Something To Ford's Attorney On LIVE TV - Duration: 10:22.

Now, this is very, very odd!

Chicks On The Right reported that during this morning's twisted testimony from the Democrat

Party's newest darling Christine Blasey Ford something was caught on video that has

the nation up in arms.

And it's not the actual testimony.

It's something that happened in the background.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, who isn't even a senator and has no business being at

the hearings, can be clearly seen handing Ford's attorney an envelope.

An envelope which he quickly acknowledges and conceals in his jacket pocket.

Now let me ask you.

Why is a sitting Congresswoman even talking to this woman's attorney let alone handing

him an envelope?

And what could be in that envelope?

Instructions, a thank you letter, and an autographed picture, or maybe what sounds more probable…

money?

We can only guess at this point and I'm sure with a timid bunch as the Republicans

are we won't know anytime soon.

According to the Congresswoman's press office, the envelope was simply unopened stationery

notes given to counsel for Dr. Ford from women who wanted to enter the hearing room but were

not allowed to enter.

Why do I find this explanation so hard to believe?

Here is a reminder of who Sheila Jackson Lee really is via Legal Insurrection:

"A woman named Jean Marie Simon was scheduled to take a United Airlines flight, booked into

First Class using miles.

"Then she realized that United had bumped her from the seat, and given it to Texas Rep.

Sheila Jackson Lee."

The reactions of both United and Jackson Lee were sadly predictable.

"United blamed the passenger, in a convoluted claim that the passenger had canceled the

seat from her mobile phone app and then immediately re-booked.

The passenger rejected that claim, as the Houston Chronicle reports:

"After thoroughly examining our electronic records, we found that upon receiving a notification

that Flight 788 was delayed due to weather, the customer appears to have canceled her

flight from Houston to Washington, D.C. within the United mobile app," United said in a

statement.

"As part of the normal pre-boarding process, gate agents began clearing standby and upgrade

customers, including the first customer on the waitlist for an upgrade."

"Simon denies that she canceled her ticket.

She sent a reporter a screenshot of the United website showing only one "inactive" reservation

– a flight to Houston in August to visit her daughter that she had to cancel because

of Hurricane Harvey.

"A United official said screenshot doesn't show the December flight as canceled because

she ultimately took the flight….

"She said the plane took off at 12:50 p.m. and she arrived home that night, still upset.

Simon wrote a letter to airline's CEO and posted it on Facebook and Twitter.

A "resolution manager" called her Saturday morning and apologized at least a half-dozen

times, she said.

"She said she wants a formal, written apology from United.

"It's just impossible to suspend disbelief and swallow that story that I canceled my

flight," Simon said.

"United has suffered a string of customer relations gaffes this year.

"In June, a woman said she was forced to give up her 2-year-old's $969 seat on a

flight from Houston to Boston and hold him for roughly three hours because the airline

sold the seat.

"In April, Dr. David Dao was forcibly removed from a United Express flight in Chicago to

make space for crew members headed to Louisville, Ky.

"The airline announced policy changes after that incident and its CEO, Oscar Munoz, has

promised a "culture shift toward becoming a better, more customer-focused airline."

"Jackson Lee didn't see this as a mere dispute, issuing a statement that the woman

complaining was racist:

"Since this was not any fault of mine, the way the individual continued to act appeared

to be, upon reflection, because I was an African American woman, seemingly an easy target along

with the African American flight attendant who was very, very nice," Jackson Lee said

in the statement.

"This saddens me, especially at this time of year given all of the things we have to

work on to help people.

But in the spirit of this season and out of the sincerity of my heart, if it is perceived

that I had anything to do with this, I am kind enough to simply say sorry.

"Pathetic."

Sheila Jackson Lee is not an upstanding citizen.

In fact, she is far from it.

And it's very believable that this nasty arrogant woman would, in fact, have handed

Dr. Ford's attorney something she wasn't supposed to.

But as I stated before, chances are we will never know the truth, but it's very surprising

how the senators there didn't ask this question when they saw this happen right under their

noses.

Please pray for Judge Kavanaugh and his family!
