Now, this is very, very odd!
Chicks On The Right reported that during this morning's twisted testimony from the Democrat
Party's newest darling Christine Blasey Ford something was caught on video that has
the nation up in arms.
And it's not the actual testimony.
It's something that happened in the background.
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, who is not even a senator and has no business being at
the hearings, can be clearly seen handing Ford's attorney an envelope.
An envelope which he quickly acknowledges and conceals in his jacket pocket.
Now let me ask you.
Why is a sitting Congresswoman even talking to this woman's attorney let alone handing
him an envelope?
And what could be in that envelope?
Instructions, a thank you letter, and an autographed picture, or maybe what sounds more probable…
money?
We can only guess at this point and I am sure with a timid bunch as the Republicans are
we would not know anytime soon.
According to the Congresswoman's press office, the envelope was simply unopened stationery
notes given to counsel for Dr. Ford from women who wanted to enter the hearing room but were
not allowed to enter.
Why do I find this explanation so hard to believe?
Here is a reminder of who Sheila Jackson Lee really is via Legal Insurrection:
"A woman named Jean Marie Simon was scheduled to take a United Airlines flight, booked into
First Class using miles.
"Then she realized that United had bumped her from the seat, and given it to Texas Rep.
Sheila Jackson Lee."
The reactions of both United and Jackson Lee were sadly predictable.
"United blamed the passenger, in a convoluted claim that the passenger had canceled the
seat from her mobile phone app and then immediately re-booked.
The passenger rejected that claim, as the Houston Chronicle reports:
"After thoroughly examining our electronic records, we found that upon receiving a notification
that Flight 788 was delayed due to weather, the customer appears to have canceled her
flight from Houston to Washington, D.C. within the United mobile app," United said in a
statement.
"As part of the normal pre-boarding process, gate agents began clearing standby and upgrade
customers, including the first customer on the waitlist for an upgrade."
"Simon denies that she canceled her ticket.
She sent a reporter a screenshot of the United website showing only one "inactive" reservation
– a flight to Houston in August to visit her daughter that she had to cancel because
of Hurricane Harvey.
"A United official said screenshot does not show the December flight as canceled because
she ultimately took the flight….
"She said the plane took off at 12:50 p.m. and she arrived home that night, still upset.
Simon wrote a letter to airline's CEO and posted it on Facebook and Twitter.
A "resolution manager" called her Saturday morning and apologized at least a half-dozen
times, she said.
She said she wants a formal, written apology from United.
"It's just impossible to suspend disbelief and swallow that story that I canceled my
flight," Simon said.
"United has suffered a string of customer relations gaffes this year.
"In June, a woman said she was forced to give up her 2-year-old's $969 seat on a
flight from Houston to Boston and hold him for roughly three hours because the airline
sold the seat.
"In April, Dr. David Dao was forcibly removed from a United Express flight in Chicago to
make space for crew members headed to Louisville, Ky.
"The airline announced policy changes after that incident and its CEO, Oscar Munoz, has
promised a "culture shift toward becoming a better, more customer-focused airline."
"Jackson Lee did not see this as a mere dispute, issuing a statement that the woman
complaining was racist: "Since this was not any fault of mine, the
way the individual continued to act appeared to be, upon reflection, because I was an African
American woman, seemingly an easy target along with the African American flight attendant
who was very, very nice," Jackson Lee said in the statement.
"This saddens me, especially at this time of year given all of the things we have to
work on to help people.
But in the spirit of this season and out of the sincerity of my heart, if it is perceived
that I had anything to do with this, I am kind enough to simply say sorry.
"Pathetic."
Sheila Jackson Lee is not an upstanding citizen.
In fact, she is far

Suspicious Note Left For "Dr. Ford" In Senate Hearing Room — Here's What It Said - Duration: 3:10.
Ahead of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday,
a suspicious note was left for the liberal professor in the hearing room.
Here's what the handwritten message said.
According to the New York Post, a mysterious, handwritten "good luck" note was left
for Christine Blasey Ford in the Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing room ahead of her Thursday
testimony.
"Good luck, Dr. Ford," read the note left Wednesday on the witness table where Ford
testified about her allegations of being sexually assaulted by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh
in the 1980s.
Just hours until one of the most anticipated Senate hearings in decades, someone has left
a message for Christine Blasey Ford.
It's unknown who left a note that says, "Good luck, Dr. Ford," on the witness
table where the California professor will testify about accusations of sexual assault
against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh — who is also set to testify on Thursday.
A Roll Call photographer, checking out lighting and angles ahead of Thursday's 10 a.m. hearing,
noticed the notepad in the Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing room on Capitol Hill.
[Source: Roll Call] An aide initially told ABC News that committee
Chairman Chuck Grassley left the note — penned on Senate stationery — but his staffers
later said that was not true.
Indeed, it seems far more likely that the note was penned by one of the Democratic members,
as if to say, "Good luck, Dr. Ford.
You are our last hope at stopping the confirmation of President Donald Trump's Supreme Court
pick."
And, after all, that is what this has been about from the very beginning.
It has never been about getting to the truth.
It has always been about stopping Kavanaugh by any means necessary.
The Democrats knew Ford's story was impossible to prove from the getgo.
That's why Sen. Diane Feinstein held onto the professor's letter for six weeks before
making her accusations public on the eve of Kavanaugh's confirmation.
Feinstein had ample opportunity to confront Kavanaugh before then — the judge had participated
in 65 different meetings with Senators and sat for hours and hours of testimony, but
Feinstein never brought up Ford's allegations during any of those opportunities to address
them.
Yes, this has always been about stopping Kavanaugh's confirmation.
It was a political charade from the very beginning.
Without legitimate means of thwarting President Trump's Supreme Court pick, the Democrats
unleashed sexual assault claims they had held onto for weeks prior.
That, in and of itsef, is enough to prove that this is no more than political theatre.
Furthermore, the note left for Christine Blasey Ford in the Senate is a perfect example of
the difference in the way she has been treated, versus the way Judge Kavanaugh has been treated.
Was there a similar note wishing Kavanaugh "good luck" with his testimony?
Of course not.
There should have been, though.
After all, Kavanaugh is the one who stands to lose everything in this debacle.
Not Ford.
She has an army of people behind her who believe her story — even without a shred of evidence
— and who have crowd-funded hundreds of thousands of dollars for her "cause" — whatever
that is.

This Tweet Exposed Kavanaugh's Accuser's Biggest Lie - Duration: 3:21.
Christine Blasey Ford finally told her story under oath.
No one could believe what she said.
And this one tweet exposed her biggest mistake.
Christine Blasey Ford Gives Conflicting Testimony Ford claimed she could not immediately testify
because she was afraid of flying.
She said she needed time to drive cross-country from California to Washington, D.C.
Trump supporters suspected she was not telling the truth.
They believed she was stalling for time.
This delay allowed two other women to make more baseless allegations against Kavanaugh.
Both women's stories were so full of holes that the New York Times would not print them.
And after yesterday's testimony, Republicans suspicions were proven correct by Ford herself.
She admitted her fear of flying was suspect.
Rachel Mitchell, the outside prosecutor hired by Republicans to question Ford, asked her
how she got to Washington.
"I was hoping … to avoid having to get on an airplane," Ford responded.
"But I eventually was able to get up the gumption with the help of some friends and
get on the plane."
Mitchell asked, "When you were here in the Mid-Atlantic area back in August, end of July,
August, how did you get here?"
"Also by airplane," Ford answered.
Mitchell noted that Ford likes to surf and has listed "Hawaii, Costa Rica, South Pacific
Islands, and French Polynesia" as prime surfing locations.
"Have you been to all of those places?"
Mitchell asked.
Ford said she had and that she traveled by plane to all of them.
Ford Has Major Credibility Issues Ford lying about not being able to fly in
for the committee hearing was just one of her major credibility issues.
Donald Trump, Jr. noted that Ford developed a very convenient fear of flying.
Donald Trump, Jr. tweeted: "I'M NO PSYCHOLOGY PROFESSOR BUT IT DOES
SEEM WEIRD TO ME THAT SOMEONE COULD HAVE A SELECTIVE FEAR OF FLYING.
CAN NOT DO IT TO TESTIFY BUT FOR VACATION, WELL IT'S NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL."
Conservatives pointed out other issues with Ford's testimony.
Mollie Hemmingway of The Federalist tweeted: "SOME PEOPLE MAY FIND BLASEY FORD CREDIBLE.
OTHERS WILL NOT.
THAT'S WHY EVIDENCE, AND NOT SUBJECTIVE EMOTIONS, IS THE MEASURE TO USE TO SEEK JUSTICE.
FORD CAME AND LEFT THE HEARING WITH NO CORROBORATION.
TODAY ALSO REVEALED SOME TROUBLING INCONSISTENCIES."
Ford's testimony was emotional.
But it lacked substance, and most importantly, evidence.
She offered no corroboration for her claims.
And there were troubling contradictions.
The Washington Post reported her story based on the fact that they had reviewed her therapist's
notes from a 2012 counseling session.
However, Ford would not say if the Post actually saw her notes.
In addition, she could not give a straight answer as to how many people were at the party
where she claimed Kavanaugh tried to rape her.
Trump supporters went into the hearing believing the Democrats were exploiting Ford's claim
for political gain.
Ford's inability to deliver a credible testimony only further proved that theory.
We will keep you up to date on all new developments in this ongoing story.

RULES TO BE CAREFULLY USED IN THE VEHICLE
Nowadays, we are all people who drive and use traffic. Most of us do not know the
features and requirements of the vehicle we use, without using the conditions of use.

In addition, the use of vehicles with automatic pared to manual transmission. We will

using our tools, what are these rules and errors?
DIESEL VEHICLE USE RULES
It should not be forgotten that the diesel vehicle user chooses, in the wrong use, both the
engine life is shortened and high maintenance and repair costs can be removed.
However, it is a kind of engine that can be used safely and with pleasure for many years
safely and properly when used properly. It has a high torque compared to gasoline
vehicles and it shows power even at low revs.
1- We make our biggest mistake while driving on long road. The first point to be
considered when using especially in long road conditions is to stop our vehicle
immediately when we take a break. The reason is this; When the engine is running
regularly at high speeds, the lubrication in the system and the turbocharger will fit to it,
and if the lubrication is interrupted suddenly, our high-speed turbo can be locked or
damaged. The only thing that needs to be done is to stop immediately when we stop our
vehicle. Leave it for 1-1.5 minutes to idle and lubricate the entire system, including turbo, and then stop your vehicle.
2-Fuel from well-known big companies and get good quality fuel. Take care not to get
fuel from unknown, unchecked stations through intercity roads. Leakage and poor quality
fuel can possibly cause great damage to your vehicle's precision injector system.
3-Make sure that the gearshift of your diesel vehicle is between 1800-2800 rpm. Reduce
the gear without falling below 1800 rpm and increase the gear without exceeding 2800
rpm. On average, a diesel car on 2200-2500 rpm will be sufficient for both comfort and
fuel economy (this may vary depending on whether the road is on a downhill or downhill road).
4-Do not use your vehicle at very low speeds and do not force it at low speeds to
accelerate, immediately shifting will reduce the morote and the walking system. Your
vehicle will make itself much more comfortable. Diesel vehicles torque force of the
gasoline vehicles to be strong and fast recovery will not fool you. Don't shake your car
with a lot of throttle in low gear, immediately increase your gear.
5 - Do not use your diesel vehicle at high speeds for a long period of time, this puts an
additional burden on the turbo system and damages the propeller and the shafts of your
turbo. It also produces very high consumption amounts as fuel.
6-If you are using your vehicle so calmly, the engine wear is reduced and the system health is protected.
7-Diesel vehicles are the most damaging airborne dust and particles. Air filter is original
or high quality is very important for the health of our tool. Small dusts in the air damage
the turbine's propeller during high speed and cause it to break.
8-Motor and walk system maintenance without interrupting the regular maintenance, oil
is always new and clean under extreme pressure and overheating conditions are very important for our diesel engine.
9-Diesel vehicles for the first time 30-sec or 1 minute until the start of the warm up and
self-lubrication will be right to wait. As soon as the cold engine starts to run or force the
vehicle, it will lock the turbocharger and cause much more internal engine wear. This is especially important in winter conditions.
10-Diesel vehicles are operating under higher temperture and pressure during the
journey, we should follow the temperature indicator occasionally. Unaware of the rising
If we use our diesel vehicles according to these conditions, it will be much more efficient and will serve us without any problems for many years.

After Using Her, Feinstein Actually Threw Ford Under the Bus with Jaw-Dropping Accusation - Duration: 4:44.
If you had the stout constitution to sit through every moment of the Kavanaugh/Ford hearings
Thursday, I am both envious and curious.
The envy stems from the fact that you could watch a room of craven politicians preen for
the camera and donor-email clips and not lose interest.
The curiosity stems from the fact that I get paid to do it, while most of our readership
does not.
If you waited until the end, however, you got to glimpse the guiding spirit of the whole
affair — or what a certain anonymous Op-Ed writer might have called the "lodestar"
that directed the proceedings — in a line from Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the ranking Democrat
on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
After being accused of leaking the letter that set this whole thing rolling, the California
senator denied either she or her staff released it.
Instead, she blamed the leak on a woman who was now utterly disposable to her — Christine
Blasey Ford.
The exchange began after Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz questioned the leaking of the letter,
which had been passed on to Sen. Feinstein.
"We also know that the Democrats on this committee engaged in a profoundly unfair process,"
Cruz said.
The ranking member had these allegations on July 30th and for sixty days, that was sixty
days ago, the ranking member did not refer it to the FBI for investigation, the ranking
member did not refer it to the full committee for an investigation.
"This committee could have investigated those claims in a confidential way that respected
Dr. Ford's privacy," Cruz continued.
"Dr. Ford told this committee that the only people to whom she gave her letter, were her
attorneys, the ranking member, and her member of Congress.
"And she stated that she and her attorneys did not release the letter, which means the
only people who could have released the letter were either the ranking member (Sen. Feinstein)
and her staff, or the Democratic member of Congress, because Dr. Ford told this committee
those are the only people who had it.
"That is not a fair process," Cruz said.
There were two options for Sen. Feinstein in this situation: a) apologize or b) deny.
If she chose option b), however, there was not the obligation to take path c): throw
Christine Blasey Ford under an entire Greyhound station of buses.
That's what she decided to do, however.
Mr. Chairman, let me be clear, I did not hide Dr. Ford's allegations.
I did not leak her story, she asked me to keep it confidential and I kept if confidential
as she asked," Feinstein said in response.
"She apparently was stalked by the press, felt that what happened, she was forced to
come forward, and her greatest fear was realized," Feinstein continued.
"She's been harassed, she's had death threats, and she's had to flee her home."
After blaming the Republicans for their investigation, which she called "a partisan practice,"
she continued to talk up the possible imperilment Ford was in.
"I was given some information by a woman who was very much afraid, who asked that it
be held confidential, and I held it confidential until she decided that she would come forward,"
Feinstein said.
She was then asked if her staff had leaked the letter by Sen. John Cornyn, another Texas
Republican.
"I have not asked that question directly, but I do not believe — the answer is no,"
Feinstein responded.
"The staff, they did not."
"Well, somebody leaked it if was not you," Cornyn said.
"I did not, I was asked to keep it confidential, and I am criticized for that too!" she said.
"It's my understanding that her story was leaked before the letter became public,
and she testified that she had spoken to her friends about it and it's most likely that
that's how the story leaked, and she had been asked by press.
"But it did not leak from us," Feinstein concluded.
"I assure you of that."
Yes, the letter leaked because this woman, who thought she was in grave jeopardy, leaked
the whole thing to the press by telling her friends, who were willing to put her in that
grave jeopardy by passing it on.
It had nothing — nothing — to do with the Democrats who would have benefited most
from this and would have had the motivation to pass
it on.
Right.

Ted Cruz Takes Christine Ford's Case Into The Courtroom And SHREDS It Into A Million Pieces(VIDEO)!! - Duration: 17:49.
Ted Cruz Takes Christine Ford's Case Into The Courtroom And SHREDS It Into A Million Pieces
Thank You mr. chairman
we're living in a divided time this country is divided right down the middle
there is an enormous amount of anger there's rage there's hatred we see
demonstrators screaming at each other
reflecting that rage reflecting that anger and I know there are great many
Americans who wish we could and believe we can get back to an environment where
we treat each other with civility and decency get back to an environment where
yes we have policy disagreements we disagree on what the right legislation
is to pass and we even have vigorous debates about what the right policy is
but we do so in a context that respects each other that doesn't demean the
humanity of each other that doesn't attack the character and drag people
through the mud the politics of personal destruction that we have seen on display
in recent days is Washington DC at it's very ugliest and all of us should
remember that we're talking about real human beings here these aren't pawns on
a chessboard these are real people dr. Ford has been through hell the last two
weeks I have no doubt have been extraordinarily painful for her for her
family the testimony she gave yesterday was powerful was clearly heart-wrenching
was clear she was hurting and hurting mightily having her name made public
against her wishes and dragged through the mud was a
hurtful thing to do it's the wrong thing to do and judge Kavanagh he too has been
dragged through the mud for the last two weeks in a way that has no precedence in
our polarized society we live in today it's almost tribe alized were half of us
we're one team's Jersey the other half we're the other team's Jersey and
everything we see we see through the lens of our Jersey so it would not
surprise me if across the country a
significant percentage of those on the Democratic side of the aisle saw
yesterday's testimony and concluded he must be guilty and it would not surprise
me if a very significant percentage of those on the Republican side of the
aisle saw yesterday's testimony the same testimony and concluded he must be
innocent one of the consequences of that you know Judge Cavanaugh talked about
how these smears and the many that had been leveled against him in the last two
weeks how they have as he put it destroyed his family some that may sound
like hyperbole I don't think it is Judge Cavanaugh has two young daughters a
ten-year-old and a 13 year old for the rest of their lives there is their
daughter's will go to school will interact with people many of whom are
convinced their father is a rapist I want you to think of the effect that
has when those are the allegations that's where it starts not I disagree
with your jurisprudence not I think you're wrong and how you interpret the
Constitution but you are I mean let's be clear he has been accused of among other
things participating in repeatedly drugging and gang raping women to take
some of the more sensational I think ludicrous claims that have been aired
these little girls are going to have classmates of theirs repeat those
charges to him some of the most poignant testimony yesterday when Judge Cavanaugh
described how he's taught law at Harvard Law School for over a decade and he said
he may never get to teach law again and that's entirely possible that's entirely
possible even if judge Cavanaugh has confirmed to the US Supreme Court as a
sitting justice in our polarized world I'm a graduate of the Harvard Law School
I think it is entirely possible those on the Left would say we don't want someone
we believe as a rapist ever teaching again he also talked about how much he
is loved coaching girls basketball coaching his daughters in basketball and
he mentioned he may never coach again
that's a very real possible consequence of the mudslinging and irresponsible
behavior of the last two weeks it may well be in this tribe alized partisan
divided world that the parents of the other girls say no we don't want him as
a coach anymore our words and actions have consequences that being said even
though this is a divided time even though this is a partisan time
I have faith in the American people I have faith in the American people that
we want to be fair minded we want to actually assess the facts we want to
actually assess what happens I think it's important that once these
allegations became public that dr. Ford was given a full and fair opportunity to
tell her story I emphatically urged my colleagues that was the right thing to
do to give her the opportunity to testify in public and that it was
important that when she testified she be given an environment that was fair that
was respectful that she not be too mean that she not be attacked and she wasn't
that was the right thing to do the committee once this had been forced to
the front pages of the paper the right thing to do was give her a public forum
and a full public forum to tell her story but the right thing also requires
and we saw yesterday judge Cavanaugh being given a full and fair opportunity
to defend himself
the American people watched that testimony and you come away with a
number of conclusions number one it is clear their testimony is in direct
conflict what they said is directly conflicting judge Cavanaugh
categorically and unequivocally denied the allegations
so the question is how do you resolve that discrepancy how does this committee
how does the United States Senate how do the American people resolve the
discrepancies when you have two witnesses that testify to things
diametrically opposed well the only way I know to do and this is how a court of
law operates this is how most reasonable people operate is when you have
conflicting testimony you look to well what is the rest of the evidence
demonstrate what other evidence is there and what does the evidence demonstrate
dr. Ford named three fact witnesses who she says were there and could
corroborate her story none of the three corroborates her story
not only did they not corroborate her story all three of the named fact
witnesses explicitly refuted her story and they did so under penalty of perjury
they didn't do so lightly they didn't just say it they did so in a context
that under the United States Code they can face up to five years in prison if
they lied to this committee so every single fact witness but dr. Ford named
has explicitly disputed her allegations now one of those fact witnesses was mr.
judge we've heard a lot of discussions about mr. judge a lot of my colleagues
saying why didn't we hear testimony for mr. judge
well mr. judge refused to talk to the committee he submitted a statement a
statement under penalty of perjury under penalty of felony but he refused to be
interviewed by investigators it's not complicated to understand why the public
record indicates mr. judge has had a very troubled life that he is battled
with addiction for most of his life we heard testimony yesterday that he's been
near death that he battles with depression that he's a cancer survivor
he has also been directly accused of multiple felonies so when committee
investigators asked to interview him he said no that shouldn't surprise anybody
we had a vote earlier today on subpoenaing mr. judge it's not
complicated what would happen if he were subpoenaed he came before this committee
any defense lawyer worth his salt would tell mr. judge not to testify
now I understand politically Democratic members of this Senate would very much
like to see a man who struggled with addiction most
of his life sitting before this committee and pleading the fifth that
would make great theatrics that would make great political theatrics it
wouldn't help one iota in the search for the for the truth but it would make a
great public show and I will say of the three fact witnesses the one who I think
is most revealing is Leland Kaiser MS Kaiser was close friends with dr. Ford
miss Kaiser had every incentive to back up her story and instead miss Kaiser
under penalty of perjury says she doesn't know judge Cavanaugh
and she has no recollection of any party like the one dr. Ford describes dr. Ford
testified yesterday that Miss Kaiser texted her after submitting that
statement to say she was sorry sorry for not backing up her story I think that
indicates powerfully that her incentives if at all possible were to back up the
story and yet she didn't feel she could she had no incentive no motive to lie
every incentive to agree with dr. Ford's story and yet she did not do so so all
three fact witnesses have explicitly disputed the allegations what other
evidence do we have we have judge Cavanaugh's calendars detailed day to
day I have to admit when the calendars were first released there were press
stories about them I didn't find that terribly persuasive evidence until Jeff
Cavanaugh walked through day by day each of the possible days when this was
alleged to have happened and walked through the specific conflicts how he
was out of town for many of the days how he had conflicts for many of the days
the notion that his calendars were almost like Diaries I frankly I think is
kind of odd that's not something many people do but it appears to be something
both he and his father do that contemporaneous evidence that he
kept in 1982 I'll tell you the court of law that kind of contemporaneous
evidence would be powerful if you're trying to ascertain two conflicting
witnesses and which one is telling the truth you would look for contemporaneous
evidence one way or the other and finally we know judge Cavanaugh's
impeccable record of decades of public service he's 53 years old and prior to
two weeks ago there have been no allegations whatsoever of this kind six
FBI background checks detailed thorough FBI background checks nobody raised any
claim like this now all of us know from human experience that if someone is a
sexual predator if someone is committing the kind of actions that have been
alleged that it is very rare that they're a one-time offender but if
someone is carrying out this kind of conduct they typically have a pattern of
doing so over and over and over again we have seen powerful men throughout
society and politics in journalism in Hollywood whose careers have rightly
been ended but they've been ended for a pattern of harassment of abuse that
typically extends decades because when someone behaves like this they behave
like this over and over again there's no credible indication that that's occurred
indeed it's striking that in his 12 years as a federal appellate judge a
majority of his law clerks have been women that is exceptionally unusual I do
not know of another federal appellate judge for whom that is the case and I
can tell you his law clerks revere him they hold him in the very highest of
respect his reputation judge Cavanaugh his reputation in this town
is it being a Boy Scout is it being a boring Boy Scout that's been his
reputation for a long time now some might say well gosh and the press there
been these other sensational allegations we've seen others that have popped up
after this one well I thought it was striking in yesterday's hearing that not
a single Democratic member of this committee chose to ask about any of the
other allegations I think that indicates how little credibility there is behind
those allegations what the one that is the most sensational by the client of
mr. avenatti makes extraordinary claims which apparently our Democratic
colleagues are embarrassed to say publicly because they demonstrate that
this has become a partisan circus this is not about substance this is about
smears can I ask the senator if he could sum up the reason I've done that is
because I'd like to give everybody a chance to speak this committee has given
dr. Ford and judge Cavanaugh a full and fair opportunity to lay out their views
and I will say unfortunately the conduct of our Democratic colleagues it's been
clear that this has been all about politics all about delaying this
confirmation until after the election hoping that they win the Senate in the
election and then keeping this Supreme Court seat vacant until 2021 every
Democratic member of this committee before the confirmation hearing started
said they opposed judge Cavanaugh before a single thing started and not only that
this allegation the ranking member of this committee had it in writing on July
30th if on July 30th that had been reported to the committee chairman this
committee has a process to investigate it a process to investigate it that is
confidential that the FBI could have participated in investigating starting
back in July 30th that we could have had a hearing
that is closed that is not dragging either of these individuals through the
mud that's the way this process should have worked
and the testimony yesterday from dr. Ford is that the only people who had
copies of the letter were herself her lawyers representative su and the
ranking member of this committee dr. Ford further testified that neither she
nor her lawyers handed the letter over that leaves the only conclusion possible
is that the letter was leaked to the public by either of the two Democratic
members of Congress or their staff or that or someone else to whom they gave
it if there are only four people that have it and two did not give it then the
other two are the only possible sources and that unfortunately demonstrates a
cynicism a willingness to smear dr. Ford if it helps politically delay this
nomination I think we have an obligation to be fair to be impartial to listen to
the evidence to weigh the evidence that's the right thing to do and that's
what I hope this committee does and that's what I hope the full Senate does
thank you god bless you and God bless america

After Using Her Feinstein Actually Threw Ford Under The Bus With Jaw-Dropping Accusation
hey sir de croo Thank You mr. chairman judge Cavanaugh you and your family have
been treated incredibly poorly by Senate Democrats and by the media and let me
say also I think dr. Ford and her family had been treated incredibly poorly by
Senate Democrats in the media you have both seen your good names dragged
through the mud and this has been sadly one of the most shameful chapters in the
history of the United States Senate let me say to you and your family thank you
for a lifetime of public service I will say watching your mother's pained face
has been heart-wrenching as she's seen her son's character dragged through the
mud after not only your lifetime of public service but her lifetime of
public service as well and I know as a father there's been nothing more painful
to you than talking to your daughters and explaining these attacks that the
media is airing I also believe though that the American people are fair-minded
people that the American people can set aside the partisan warfare of Washington
and look to substance and facts and that is the charge of this committee now
there have been three different sets of allegations that have dominated the
media I think it's important to note that two of those sets of allegations
had so little corroboration that even the New York Times which is no
conservative outlet refused to report on them because they could find no basis
for them and it was striking in this entire hearing that not a single
Democrat in this committee asked about two sets of those allegations mr.
Ramirez's allegations and the allegations of the client of mr.
Robinette II not a single Democrat I don't know if they were just to
embarrass mr. Evan Eddie's allegations were so scandalous that the ranking
member of mitad his clients most scandalous accusations
of you as a criminal mastermind essentially omitted those scandalous
accusations from her statement this hearing has focused rightly so on the
allegations dr. Ford presented and let me say I think the committee did the
right thing and giving dr. Ford a full and fair opportunity to tell her story
that's what we needed to do when these allegations became public and the
committee treated her with respect as we should i do not believe senate democrats
have treated you with respect what do we know we know that her testimony and your
testimony are in conflict a fair-minded Assessor of facts would then look to
what else do we know when you have conflicting testimony well we know that
dr. Ford identified three fact witnesses who she said observed what occurred all
three of those fact witnesses have stated on the record under penalty of
perjury that they do not recall what she is alleging happening they have not only
not not corroborated her charges they have explicitly refuted her charges
that's significant to a fair-minded fact-finder in addition you've walked
through before this committee your calendars from the time now I will say
you were a much more organized teenager than I was and that many of us were but
it was a compelling recitation of night by night by night where you were in the
summer of 1982 that is yet another contemporaneous piece of fact to assess
what happened and we also know that the Democrats on this committee engaged in a
profoundly unfair process the ranking member had these allegations on July
30th and for 60 days that was 60 days ago the ranking member did not refer it
to the FBI for an investigation the ranking member did not refer it to the
full committee for an investigation the ranking member this committee could have
investigated those claims in a confidential way that respected dr.
Ford's privacy and some of the most significant testimony we heard this
morning is dr. Ford told this committee if the only people to whom she gave her
letter were her attorneys the ranking member and her member of Congress and
she stated that she and her attorneys did not release the letter which means
the only people that could have released that that letter were either the ranking
member and her staff or the Democratic member of Congress because dr. Ford told
this committee those are the only people who had it that is not a fair process
and we should look to the facts not anonymous innuendo and slander German I
asked for a point of personal privilege to respond merci mr. chairman let me be
clear I did not hide dr. Ford's allegations I did not leak her story she
asked me to hold it confidential and I kept it confidential as she asked she
apparently was stalked by the press felt that what happened she was forced to
come forward and her greatest fear were realized was realized she's been
harassed she's had death threats and she's had to flee her home in addition
the investigation that the Republican majority is heralding is really nothing
that I know about other than a partisan practice normally all the witnesses
would be interviewed however that's not happened while the
majority has reached out to several people they did not notify me or my
staff that they were doing this and so ought to argue that we would not
participate but not tell us what they were up to is somewhat disingenuous I
was given some information by a woman who was very much afraid
acid it'd be held confidential and I held it confidential until she decided
that she would come forward mr. chairman would would the ranking member
answer a question please if I can I I have great respect for senator Feinstein
we've worked together on many topics and I believe what you just said can you
tell us that your staff did not leak it oh I don't believe my staff would leak
it I have not asked that question directly but you do not oh you know that
I mean how in the world did that get in the hands of the of the press the answer
is no the staff have you ever asked have you asked your staff or other staff - of
the Judiciary Committee pardon me well a Jennifers reminds me I've asked her
before about it well so that's true hope well somebody leaked it if it wasn't you
well it was I'm telling you it was not I did not I mean I was asked to keep it
confidential and and I'm criticized for that too mr. chairman could I ask the
Chairman a question which is does the committee have a process if there is an
allegation against any nominee to assess that allegation in a confidential forum
rather than in the public dread since dr. Ford requested that it be kept
confidential is there a process for the committee for considering confidential
allegations and the answer is yes and I sent senator Tillis pointed out the
document that I put out to show of all the things that we've done along the
lines of your equation and mr. chairman what would you have done if on July 30th
the ranking member had had raised this allegation with you has the chairman of
this committee how would you would have done like we have done with every
background or let's say FBI report that comes from the White House with the
nominee and then subsequent to that because maybe the FBI got done with it
three months ago we go through the FBI or information comes to us then we have
our investigators in a bipartisan way both Republicans and Democrats follow up
on the whatever those questions are or those problems that
have to be worked out so bipartisan investigators could have
investigated this two months ago and it could have been heard in a confidential
setting without dr. Ford's name or Judge Cavanaugh's name being dragged through
the mud correct and except for one or two conversations that we had with the
judge to our investigators Democrats didn't participate except in those two
but in those two or one or two they didn't ask any questions
Thank You mr. chairman I want to would mr. chairman yes Matt mayor respond it's
my understanding that her story was leaked before the letter became public
and she testified that she had spoken to her friends about it and it's most
likely that that's how the story leaked and that she had been asked by press but
it did not leak from us I assure you of that
Oh mr. mr. chairman I I'm a little confused I thought only the member of
the house and senator Feinstein and her lawyers had the letter so her friends
she might have talked to about it couldn't leak the letter if they just
had a book verbal conversation unless she gave that my copy of the letter
senator I don't think the letter was ever leaked well how did the press know
to contact her about her complaint she apparently she testified here this
morning that she had talked to friends about it and that press had talked to
her senator our judge a sense there was reference to the problems the legitimate
problems and the and the change of lifestyle that dr. Ford had if you want
some time to say the impact on your family I'll be glad to hear you if you
don't want to talk about that's okay I've talked about that okay then senator
Harris thank you god bless you and God bless america
you

5 Major Problems With Dr. Ford's Testimony That Could Ensure Kavanaugh Gets The Vote - Duration: 5:27.
The whole nation sat next to their TV yesterday to listen to the Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's
testimony where she accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of a sexual assault.
There were two types of people watching yesterday.
Those on the right who tend to watch with an open mind and try to be fair and those
on the left are basically ruled by nothing more than emotion and their hate towards conservatives
and the white American male.
The same white American male who is responsible for the creation of our great nation but now
seems to be branded as the evilest thing since the creation of Satan.
Leaving aside all the left wing hate, if you actually listened to Dr. Ford's testimony,
you could not help but find at least five inconsistencies and contradictions.
Here is more via PJ Media:
1.
She still can not confirm the basics of her account
She can tell everyone definitively that Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her, but she
does not know when, where, who took her there or picked her up (she was 15), or pretty much
anything of significance.
She has no facts, no corroboration, no medical report, no police report.
There is nothing but a claim from a woman with a bad memory and a story contradicted
by all her own witnesses.
At this point, there is not even any evidence that there was a party at all, much less that
Kavanaugh was there or that anything happened between Kavanaugh and Ford.
2.
There's the polygraph weirdness Rachel Mitchell, a sex crimes prosecutor in
Maricopa County, Arizona, who questioned Ford today, went out on what seems to be a strange
tangent about the polygraph that Ford took in August.
Surprisingly, it still prompted Ford to say a couple of very strange things.
Ford said the polygraph was done in Maryland because of her grandmother's funeral and
she was asked if it was done on the same day as her grandmother's funeral.
Ford did not know the answer to that question.
Mitchell also asked if she paid for the polygraph, which would normally be quite expensive, and
again, Ford said she does not know.
If Ford does not have a clear memory of big events that happened to her LAST MONTH, how
can anyone be sure her memory of what happened 36 years ago is correct?
Was Kavanaugh involved?
You would not think someone could get confused about something like that, but you would also
think someone would know if she spent thousands of dollars paying for a polygraph last month.
3.
She could have testified in California At one point, in response to Mitchell's
comment about how this was not the best forum to explore her allegations, Ford agreed it
would have been better if she could have testified at home without having to do this publicly
in D.C. — except she could have done exactly that.
Not only was the offer made to her legal team, but there were also news articles about it.
It was not a secret.
So either Ford is lying or perhaps worse yet, she really does not know what's going on
and her legal team unnecessarily tossed her into the meat grinder for political purposes.
4.
Ford's fear of flying is fake Ford's own lawyers have been publicly claiming
that she's too frightened to fly and they have gone out of their way to say that she
would not get on a plane because of the Kavanaugh incident.
Because of that, they said she would have to drive cross-country to get to a hearing.
Of course, she actually flew.
Additionally, under questioning, she admitted she had flown to Maryland, Hawaii, and Tahiti.
In other words, that was a bald-faced lie.
If she is lying about that, what else is she lying about?
5.
Her witnesses do not back up her account In her initial letter to Sen. Dianne Feinstein,
Ford claimed that four people besides her were at the party.
That number seems to change by the day, but let's go with her original claim.
Those four people were Brett Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge, who she says were both
in the room along with PJ Smyth and her friend Leland Ingham Keyser.
All of them have denied her story under the penalty of felony perjury, which begs an obvious
question: whose house was the mystery party at?
Are they all supposed to have been partying at someone else's house while they were
gone?
It makes no sense.
It's even more damning that her friend Leland Ingham Keyser says she has never even met
Brett Kavanaugh.
How do you square that circle?
Keyser has never met Kavanaugh at all, but she was at the party where Kavanaugh did this?
Also, her best friend saw her run out of the party but said nothing?
She did not ask her about it the next day?
This single issue in and of itself completely destroys the credibility of Ford's accusation."
The Democrat Party needs to pay for this farce in November.

JUSTICE SERVED! Kavanaugh Vindicated – Dems And Dr.Ford Have Hell To Pay - Duration: 6:43.
After a heated and grueling full day of hearings, Thursday, from both Judge Kavanaugh and his
accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the Senate moved forward in favor of Kavanaugh that advances
him on to the final vote on the Senate floor.
If he gets approval there, from Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer and Republican Senator
Mitch McConnell, Kavanaugh will be confirmed as the next Supreme Court appointment.
The incredible turn of events comes after a decisive vote from Republican Jeff Flake
(Arizona), who made a last minute compromise with Democrats on an FBI investigation.
Flake said that he would vote in favor of Kavanaugh contingent on having an investigation
and a delay on the final vote to complete it.
Democrats believed they came out as the victors over nominee Kavanaugh, from Dr. Ford's
emotional testimony and fragile appearance.
The win for Kavanaugh is also a win for Republicans and Americans, but not for the left who were
desperate to keep him from the Supreme Court, including pulling out this sexual assault
allegation in the 11th hour.
Kavanaugh overcoming this step also sends a message to the left that their continual
tactic of sexual allegations is a transparent character assassination to gain control, since
they seemingly can not on merit and honesty.
Dr. Ford maintained her allegations against Kavanaugh, from 36 years ago, that it was
him who attacked her.
Other than political Democrats who supported her claim, friends, classmates, and associates
of both Ford and Kavanaugh did not corroborate her claim, as well as the subsequent two accusers'
claims.
As if we needed more reasons to doubt that the Democrat Party made up allegations against
Brett Kavanaugh here comes Julie Swetnick along with her lawyer Michael Avenatti, also
know as "The Creepy Porn Lawyer."
Young Conservatives is reporting that Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh was accused on Wednesday
by a third woman of engaging in sexual misconduct at parties while he was a student at Georgetown
Preparatory School during the 1980s.
The allegation came from 55-year-old Julie Swetnick, who like 53-year-old Judge Kavanaugh
grew up in the Washington suburbs.
In a statement posted on Twitter by her lawyer, Ms. Swetnick said she observed the future
Supreme Court nominee at parties where women were verbally abused, inappropriately touched,
made "disoriented" with alcohol or drugs and "gang raped."
She added that she witnessed 17-year-old Judge Kavanaugh participating in some of the misconduct.
Which included lining up outside a bedroom where "numerous boys" were "waiting
for their 'turn' with a girl inside the room."
60 people who grew up with Kavanaugh in that area are refuting the gang-rape claim.
They all signed a letter calling the Swetnick claims "nonsense."
Furthermore, they say they never met her or knew of her and these types of parties did
not go on there.
60 (!) men & women who attended Georgetown Prep or sister schools who knew Brett Kavanaugh
well sign letter calling the Swetnick claims "nonsense."
Say they do not know Swetnick, never met Swetnick, never say parties like this.
"It is reprehensible."
Here is more via The Chicago Tribune: "Swetnick's accusations against Kavanaugh
came a day before the Senate Judiciary Committee will hear from Christine Blasey Ford, the
California professor who said Kavanaugh assaulted her at a party when they were both teenagers.
A second woman, Deborah Ramirez, told the New Yorker magazine that Kavanaugh exposed
himself to her when they were both at Yale.
Kavanaugh has unequivocally denied both charges, as he did in response to Swetnick on Wednesday.
"According to her affidavit, Swetnick met Kavanaugh and his friend and Georgetown Prep
classmate Mark Judge in the early 1980s at house parties.
She alleges that the teens who attended tried getting girls drunk "so they could then
be 'gang-raped' in a side room or bedroom by a 'train' of numerous boys," she
wrote.
"I have a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms at many of these parties
waiting for their 'turn' with a girl inside the room.
These boys included Mark Judge
and
Brett Kavanaugh."

The Gaslighting of Christine Blasey Ford (What is Gaslighting Explained/Examples) - Duration: 10:17.
I've been furious for most of the week watching what's happening to Christine
blase Ford first Brett Kavanaugh and we need to talk about this mental health
subject what's up everybody this is Chris from the rewired salt where we
talk about the problem but focus on the solution and if you're new to my channel
my channel is all about mental health something I try to do is decrease the
stigma increase awareness and oh my god am I trying to increase awareness now
one of the reasons that I'm making this video is because so many people do not
understand mental illness they don't understand neuroscience and it's
absolutely mind-boggling anyways that kind of stuff make sure you
subscribe and win that notification bell but anyways like this is blowing my mind
like I unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it I know
so many women who have been the victims of trauma okay
and and watching this thing I've seen my friends posting about it and stuff and
how it's like bringing up memories and things like that and watching what's
happening - Christine blase Ford is absolutely disgusting like okay those of
you have been following my channel like I am a big neuroscience node I loved
neuroscience I loved learning how the brain works like the fact that you have
people making decisions and questioning this woman who have absolutely no
understanding how the human brain works is mind blowing
it is mind blowing like okay so first let's talk about the gaps laughing
that's happening so gasps reading for those of you who don't know what it is
gas lighting is when you make somebody question their own sanity okay a lot of
narcissists will do this to their significant others or people around them
and like seeing what's happening - Christine velocity forward like oh my
god and all these news reports that saying like well maybe it was somebody
else maybe she doesn't remember maybe she's just this and it's like are you
kidding me because then on the same side on the same side of that argument you
see people saying well why didn't she come forward sooner why did she wait
that long hello hi do you not understand why women
don't come forward because they're about to face this kind of scrutiny saying oh
well maybe you don't remember it correctly maybe this didn't really
happen and it's insane you know what thinking about this I remember watching
the comments and one of my 13 reasons why videos right and people were upset
with the main character because she didn't get for help after she was
sexually assaulted but she did go for help and the same thing happened when
she went to see a high school counselor he questioned her memory he questioned
whether or not she remembered properly and did this really happen or was it
consensual like it's crazy this is why so many sexual assault victims are not
coming forward and this isn't just in the Christina Blasi Ford case I know
countless women who have tried to speak up about these things and it gets
questioned like oh maybe it didn't happen
I know these are serious allegations I'm a fool to think that nobody in the
history of something like this but oh my god like when it comes down to the
memory and how the brain works like I might include a clip right here
christina blase floored for talking about how the brain actually works like
she dropped the mic so hard on these fools like how can you really trust your
memory and she laid it down perfectly you are very clear about the attack that
it was Brett Kavanaugh that covered your mouth to prevent you from screaming how
are you so sure that it was he the same way that I'm sure that I'm talking to
you right now is just basic memory functions also just the level of
norepinephrine and epinephrine in the brain that sort of as you know encodes
that neurotransmitter encodes memories into the hippocampus and so the trauma
related experience then is kind of locked there whereas other details kind
of drift so let's talk about the brain science of this stuff real quick trauma
burns in your memory like a brand okay because your brain the strongest part of
your brain is the limbic system the limbic system is responsible for fight
flight freeze it's also responsible for your memories okay traumatic events get
burned in your memory because your brain wants to protect you from that happening
again so when a traumatic event happened what happens is your brain locks that
into the memory but your brain is very efficient okay so it locks in the main
things okay typically sensory this is why when people get triggered it give me
sights sounds smells tastes all sorts of things like certain smells can trigger
somebody based on something that was in the room the time of this happening this
is why when you see War veterans who struggle with PTSD loud noises might
trigger them because even though they don't have to witness a horrendous act
happening in front of them the noise might happen because the brain is saying
yo this crazy thing might be happening again so you need to get on the defense
and you need to save your life so Christine pelisek Thord explained this
because she's actually a doctor and understands this stuff and how it birds
into the memory of the hippocampus so that's why she remembers those
particular details and like she mentions and talks about is with so many other
women struggle with is that it is it her relationships and she went to college
and later on in life and her and her husband went to couples counseling and
that's again where this came up but it just blows my mind that that people
would think that people would think that this woman would go under so much
scrutiny and all this stuff for some kind of political reasons like think
about in your right mind like I am NOT here I'm not a political channel or
anything like that I'm very passionate about mental health and advocacy that's
what my channel is about I try to leave my political opinions outside of here
but this is absolutely bananas but we could really talk about this with any
case with any case of sexual assault and things like that not all of them end up
like this but I just want people to understand
and that this is why more women don't come forward this is why people don't
come forward and it's like you know as a father as a father like I just hope and
pray that my son feels comfortable enough to talk to me if anything like
this ever happens like watching the Ford's testimony was brutal I don't know
how many of you watched it but I was at the gym and I was watching it and how
many times she was asked to recount the details of this and explain and go
through it like that is so difficult for anybody like I talked about some of the
traumatic things that happen in my past and they're nowhere near what have
happened to most victims out and around the world so the fact that she's willing
to come forward and do this I hope what I hope it does is it's kind of like with
mental health like I hope it inspires more people to come out and share their
stories and talk about them and everything like that like I am a firm
believer and due process I think the last thing I'll say in this rant video
is I think it's ridiculous that we don't hold somebody with a lifetime term as a
Supreme Court justice to the same standards as anybody else who would go
through the criminal justice system like they're trying to knock this thing out
in like a week like people were like giving her crap like oh why don't you
fly out here oh oh hold on there's more to this man they were trying to
discredit her anxiety by bringing up the fact that she gets anxiety when she
flies so I don't know if you saw that part of the thing but they were
questioning or like well don't you fly for work don't you fight for this I'm
like really really you're trying to discredit her about this sexual assault
by talking about her her anxiety by flying like how many people on that
planet on that panel actually know a damn thing about mental health
neuroscience anxiety PTSD or anything like that and these are the people
making laws like it's no wonder it's no wonder while why mental health treatment
is so vastly underfunded in this country like look at the way they think it works
you know what I mean but yeah part of my channel is advocacy
so I talk about this stuff but anyways my girlfriend had me watch
this awesome video on Fox I'm actually gonna link it down below basically talks
more in depth about why certain memories you know might not be you know as vivid
as other ones and things like that like for example he brings up a very good
point like about five minutes into the video he's like you want to test it I
showed you a clip of the beginning of this video what were they wearing what
were the names of these people wait you know what I mean
so I don't know it's very interesting check it out I'll be in the description
if you have any thoughts comments concerns make sure you leave them down
in the comments below you know like I have noticed that I have a very large
female audience on here and like I really hope I can make videos that can
help you inspire you and things like that and talk with each other like I am
just a guy here talking trying to be a voice I'm not trying to white knight or
anything like that it's just I don't know I have compassion for people as a
whole and it just absolutely sickens me when I see this type of stuff happening
to anybody out there in the world so anyways that's all I got for this video
if you like this video give it a thumbs up if you're new subscribe bring the
notification about I make a ton of videos I was actually gonna make a video
about why you date who you dates but this made me very passionate so I made
this video first so make sure you subscribe bring the notification Bell
because that video should be coming tomorrow alright I love you all stay
safe I'll see you next time

Dr. Ford's Testimony Seen As Catalyst To Get Women Talking About Sexual Violence - Duration: 2:21.
-------------------------------------------
BUSTED! Reebok Throwing Tons Of Money To Back Dr. Ford As Kavanaugh Undergoes FBI Investigation - Duration: 8:01.
What the hell is going on here?
First Nike decides to make that anti-American multi-millionaire the face of their company
and now Reebok has decided to do something stupid too and throw in with an organization
which has referred to Judge Kavanaugh as a rapist.
Today once again a celebrity who I have never personally heard of has come out with a statement
on Instagram about what the company Reebok will be doing with their profits.
"I worked with Reebok to design my own T-shirt and with every purchase, @REEBOK WILL DONATE
100% of the proceeds to two awesome foundations: @movemeant & @womensstrengthcoalition!"
Now celebrities being political these days I can understand since most seem to be suffering
from Trump Derangement syndrome after suffering from years of sexual abuse under their liberal
bosses, but why all of a sudden are sneaker companies who have been known for utilizing
slave labor and have done so for decades feel the need to alienate more than half of their
paying public by taking sides?
No one with business experience can say getting political as you try to sell overpriced sports
garments is a good idea.
Many people who have bought Nike shoes for most of their lives have now vowed to stop.
And the best part is when both Nike announced, on the following weekend, sales skyrocketed
as liberals were proud of them for so-called "Taking a stand for social justice."
But two weeks later Nike was singing a different tune when the numbers for the quarter were
released.
Sales are in the toilet, and they will remain there since it's doubtful they can do anything
to make it right with Patriotic Americans who used to buy their products.
Reebok will suffer the same fate, just watch.
But as WWeek reports it seems Nike is all talk but no action:
"Few American companies have touted their commitment to civil rights and inclusion more
proudly than Nike.
Its current ad campaign featuring quarterback Colin Kaepernick, ostracized from the NFL
for kneeling during the national anthem to protest police brutality, is merely the latest
example.
But to Jazz Lyles, a transgender software engineer who worked at the company's Beaverton
headquarters until earlier this month, Nike's reputation is a cruel joke.
Over the past six months, Nike has been rocked by complaints and lawsuits from female employees
who say a white male-dominated culture created a hostile workplace and widespread inequity.
CEO Mark Parker responded by firing a half-dozen senior executives and pledging in a May email
to all employees that he was "personally committed to making Nike a place where everyone
can thrive in an environment of respect, empathy and equal opportunity."
But this week, Lyles filed a workplace discrimination complaint with the Oregon Bureau of Labor
and Industries against Nike and its IT contractor, Mainz Brady Group.
The complaint, if true, paints a damning picture of a toxic workplace—and of discriminatory
behavior toward a transgender person that continued even as Parker pledged reforms.
In early 2017, Mainz Brady recruited Lyles to work at Nike Digital's engineering group.
Lyles is black and transmasculine/nonbinary (meaning Lyles was assigned the female gender
at birth but identifies with masculinity and as a nonbinary person.)
Lyles lived in the San Francisco Bay Area but was familiar with the culture Nike claimed
to promote.
But the culture Lyles actually experienced left Lyles humiliated, depressed—and unemployed.
"They talked a great game on LGBTQ issues," Lyles says, "but when you ask them to actually
stand up for these issues, it gets communicated to you that you are the problem."
Nike declined to comment.

(Jodie Wilson / Flickr) Lyles, 36, grew up in Houston and studied
art and art history at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
A photographer and tinkerer, they worked in database management for a while and then learned
software skills.
A stint in the video game industry led to a 2017 offer to come to Beaverton.
Before accepting the offer to work at Nike, Lyles told the recruiter from Mainz Brady
that they were transgender and stressed the importance of being identified by the pronouns
"they," "them" and "their."
Mikki Gillette, who conducts workplace training for Basic Rights Oregon and identifies as
transgender, says some people may find such a request puzzling, but the correct pronouns
are far more than just words.
