So we have two Civic Type-Rs, the last two generations.
This has 310 hp from the 2.0 l turbo engine,
this was the base of the
WTCC racecar.
This is the base of the new WTCR car.
This one has 320 hp.
The biggest difference
is the comfort mode.
That can be more comfortable on harsh roads.
The rear suspension is also different.
It is said to be more stable.
I drove it on Slovakiaring in a event..

When I had to brake hard, the back wasn't stable.
Because of that they made the next model
to be a bit more calm and stable.
So that one is more comfortable
but should also be faster.

footage on the Hungaroring with Csabi..
We needed a second RS because the first one couldn't handle it.
The Civic was much faster in a straight line.
It has better brakes too.
The Focus RS accelerates out of narrow corners better.
But the Civic is better in every other aspects.
The comfort mode is really close to my hearth.
So a sportscar that can be used comfortably.
And you? Only thousandths
difference between the two cars.
I liked the drivetrain of that more.
Because it's AWD and you can
get upgrades for that to be a better track car
or a more comfortable street car.
Of course you have to decide these things before buying the car.
For 60000 kilometers until
the engine dies..
Yeah there were some problems in terms of reliability.
We're not taking reliability as a deciding factor.
But..
That's still a good car for the winter too.
It's a bit harder with this.
On a slippery road you can't put down the power.
It may be faster on the Hungaroring
or..
on a faster racetrack.
It did better on the straight.
That one loses some power because the drivetrain.
