I should have do this video couple years ago but better later than never!

On this video you'll see what happened behind schenes in "Virittäjät satamassa"(TEST MY RIDE) TV-show 2015 with my Hooters Capri.

My frind Petteri has signed me to shootings already previous year but 2015 they called me about the show.

First I wasn't too interested to after couple of hours rethink I decided to take change of a lifetime.

It's not so common to race on unique street track in middle of Kotka Town with Ex Formula 1 driver Mika Salo, even in Finland!

I couldn't handle the trip alone so fortunately my son Veeti and my friend Timo were able to join me.

Timo has this same fatal illness: Oval cataract and years of experience of Ford and racing.

Veeti is enthusiastic "Youtuber" so it was nice experience for him to see what happens behind scenes in real TV-production

and shoot his sarcastic comments about cars and Fords.

This Ford-ism is one of the worst healless illnesses of man kind!

Track was build in Kotka harbour between harbour hall and piers.

There was some 20 cameras around the track, four in Capri , drone and cable camera.

Track was really nice sweet, propably best environments where you can have a race with real cars!

Production company had couple resque divers ready, In case one of us would have dive to sea from pier…

Track was really interesting and sweet experience for driver.

In one part track went though the harbour hall which was my favourite part of the track!

First Formula 1 engineer Ossi Oikarinen inspected the car and asked all technical questions.

For my surprice he only gave car 9 points. I saw him later in the bar and asked how could I have gotten that one missing point.

He just showed ….

I did little prank to Mika Salo and I had one special button on dashbord having Mika and Harri -positions.

I told Mika this is "Player button", try If you dare!

I thought with this trick I could get half a second more lap time for Mika.

First Mika drove one practice lap and then fast laps with standing start.

Mika had been driving the track some 30-40 rounds with other cars before, so he had little advantage knowing the track.

I drove three practice laps , I didn't dare practice more cause there was some 30 people production team waiting for me

Fast lap was ok, I didn't do any bad mistakes but there was couple big humps here I did feel for car and push all in.

Mika didn't touch the Player button at all which was right decision, any other position would have….

...started window washer !

Mika gave good feedback about the Capri. For my suprice most criticism got thight gas pedal and pedal that are not aligned to each other.

Also he didn't like heavy steering

Since there was no sliding adjustment for seat, Mika took large sofa pillow to bucket seat and drove with that!

He liked high revving engine, traction and reliability. For some reason Mika didn't like looks of the Capri.

As conclusion experience was really nice; excellent weather, unique track, V6 sounds bouncing in harbour, good company and nicely working car!

My only critisim is that people who bring and risk their precious cars get practically nothing, only free lunch and T-shirt.

No salary, no daily or mileage allowance or free items from sporsor of the show.

Anyways I recommend this experience, at least we support finnish TV-production.

And Yes! This T-shirt is really awesome!

In official Lap times Capri was fourth , but two cars had rolling start, so I can speculate that if all have had standing start, Capri would have been third...

...just tuned 4WD Evo and 20 years younger Porsche in front so I'm pretty happy with results for 40 years old people's car.

You can find on that Capri episode what was final end result in battle between Salo's.

That I can reveal that …Salo won!

This is wild! Let's see how Harri can do donuts!

2018 Ford Focus ST-Line: How It Changed - Walkaround (ENG SUBS) - Duration: 10:38.

Hello everybody! You join me at Ford Autoteam dealership here in Bari

Where they kindly let me take you in a sort of ''premiere'' view

Because we still can't see them on the roads

We were lucky enough to find some of them already here in the showroom

In different versions

We'll be focusing on the better looking one today, I'm talking about the ''sporty'' 4th gen Ford Focus ST-Line!

This is the 2018 model, the latest Focus on the market

The car has been renewed in its engineering and its technologies

But most importantly it changed aesthetically

Aside from the new exagonal grille

And all of the aerodynamic lines on the bonnet

The thing you immediately notice are the new headlights

If you remember the 3rd gen Focus, it had more slim and aggressive shaped headlights

This one, too, looks a bit aggressive but thanks to some aerodynamic details

Because the headlights have a softer, arrow design going all the way to the side

In the lower part, being this the ST-Line

You can notice this difference from the normal Focus, it has some ''sporty'' bits

But the front is not the only change in its look

From the upper side angle of the headlight starts a line

That runs on the whole side of the car

This line softens on the front door

And then keeps going, from the back door all the way to the new taillights

But in general it changed a lot in the side part

In the 3rd gen Focus the window line went all the way to the back in a sharp way

In the 4th gen, though, is softer, but this particular Focus has, again, some sporty bits

The ST-Line version takes its name from the ST sport Ford division

The intermediate, not as sporty as the RS

And we can notice this by these lines on the roof

Very aerodynamic

But also thanks to this big spoiler, with gloss black parts

That links the roof line to the back end of the car

I have to say this spoiler looks very good on the line of the new Focus

The line shape of the 5th door of the car looks similar to the 3rd gen one

Even if, as you can see, it totally changed in the back design

New taillights

The huge Focus name under the Ford badge

Here in the back, too, there are some aerodynamic details

It has two nice exhaust tips in the lower right part of the back

Then there's the boot

Has a capacity of 375 litres, you can obviously have more space if you fold the seats

The dimensions of the 4th gen haven't generally changed a lot

It grew up just a few inches from the 3rd gen

It is 4.38m long, 1.83m wide and 1.47m high

Enough with numbers, let's take a look at the interior of the brand new Ford Focus!

Before of that, I want to show you

This other Focus, still the ST-Line

But this time in red, I think it looks better

The grey one outside looks good but hides lots of details

First of all, let's take a better look at the back

The new taillights have a more horizontal direction and shape

The 3rd gen ones were softer and had a vertical direction

This one, being the new one, has the new Ford family feeling, like on the Fiesta

Here you can take a better look at the two exhaust tips

But also at the aerodynamic bits, on red, in the lower back part

And at the spoiler

It has aerodynamic lines that run on the whole surface of the roof

There's the antenna, and in the middle there are two more lines

Then on the bonnet there are even more aerodynamic details

Ok, we're inside

Let me adjust my seat, this is a real first contact with the 2018 Focus

Aside from the position of the screen

And the carbon look that runs on the dash

The overall interior design, with small changes, still looks familiar

And this is a very positive thing for a brand like Ford

It's easy to understand we're in a sport version, because the steering wheel has a sport shape

I hope I can see ASAP the ST and RS versions of this new Focus

Because the 3rd gen RS, guys, we saw it right here at Ford Autoteam

The old RS was simply scary and spectacular!

This will be even more in my opinion [On screen: the new Ford Focus' engines right now on the market]

The steering wheel looks sporty, flat bottom, red stitchings

This one has the dear and lovely manual gearbox stick

Sadly it has electric handbrake

The grey one we saw outside some minutes ago had the automatic gearbox

With the gear selector rotor in the central tunnel, very technologic and good looking

It also had paddles behind the steering wheel

Here there's the Sync infotainment system, by Ford

The seats in the new Focus are very comfortable and wrapping

I don't know if they're so wrapping because of the ST-Line version or they're like this on the normal cars too

I think they're very comfortable around corners, too

On the door panel there are the buttons for the side mirrors and the 4 windows

For a car of this segment, the interior overall quality is very good

Up here there's the zone dedicated to the interior lights

Let's see, here's a classic storage box

Under here there are two cupholders

Apart from the carbon look, it looks sporty thanks to the red stitchings on

The steering wheel, the gear stick and the seats

I have to say, I really like this car, not only for the aggressive red paint

The car itself gave me some doubts, by seeing it in photos

Because of the comparison with the aggressive 3rd gen, this looked too tamed

Maybe also because I remember the crazy RS

Waiting for the 4th gen RS I can say that

Seeing it in the flesh, it is actually tamed but looks very good, very elegant

And sporty, too, in the ST-Line version

Let's end this tour of the new Focus by taking a look at the backseats

Getting inside was easy and comfortable

Inside there's a lot of head room, I can almost fit my entire hand

The lights work pretty good

And help us also for having better light in this video

And the overall comfort is great

Getting inside was easy also thanks to the window line

Ok, the seats are not as wrapping as the front ones but

They are really comfortable for the segment

I don't know the travel comfort of this, I hope I will be able to let you know in a future test drive

But I think that 3 adults can fit here, and two of them alone can sit very comfortably

There's lot of leg space, I am more than 1.80m tall and I left the driver seat in my position

And my legs won't touch it at all, I have to struggle to do it

By the way, the front seats have the shape for the knees

The back part interior is pretty simple

Good note: there's a 12V socket to charge your phone in

This interior is simple but very functional
