Good Morning Britain presenter Martin joined Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard on the sofa to tell viewers how to save some money while buying presents in the festive season.

As he introduced the deals that he would be talking about later in the show, Martin made a sly dig about presenter Piers Morgan on air.

Talking about Body Shop deals and how viewers could save on festive decorations, Martin added: And a free video from the big, rotund fellow.

Thankfully, I dont mean Piers. Piers wasnt around to respond to the cheeky dig, but after losing a weight loss competition against Lord Alan Sugar, it may be a bit of a sore subject.

The pair started the contest back in September to see who could lose the most weight, with the loser donating £5,000 to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Lord Sugar managed to lose a whopping 19 pounds, taking his weight down to just under 13 stone. Meanwhile, Piers lost nine pounds, making him 15 and a half.

In the end, both of them donated to the worthy cause as Piers accepted defeat gracefully. Also on the show, Kate Garraway had a bit of a tough time on the show as she kept making blunders.

Not only did she miss her cue, she also mispronounced words during the sports segment and gave the wrong results for a game. GMB continues tomorrow at 6am on ITV.
