Why Good Morning Britain weatherman Alex Beresford DOESN'T want Morgan's support for Dancing On Ice

Good Morning Britains Alex Beresford is taking part in this years Dancing On Ice alongside the likes of Kem Cetinay and Candice Brown.

But hes adamant he doesnt want support from GMB host Piers Morgan, following Charlotte Hawkins failed stint on Strictly Come Dancing earlier this year.

Speaking to Mirror TV at the Natural History Museum ice rink, he told us: When Charlotte was doing Strictly, when he got behind her, she was getting less votes.

But if you diss her on national TV, everyone jumps in and helps.

So I hope he continues to diss me!.

Alex doesnt want support from Piers Morgan .

Despite Piers picking on him almost everyday while they present GMB together, Alex insisted its all for show.

He said: We banter back and forth everyday, I think hes secretly pleased Im doing the show.

He said hes got my full suport until I fall over so Im trying not to fall over.

I think deep down he does care.

He supported Charlotte Hawkins .

  And then she was kicked out of Strictly .

Alex added hes doubtful Piers would ever get on the ice as he cares about his image too much.

He said: I dont even think if you offered him two million youd get him on the ice.

He doesnt like to be seen losing at anything!.
