ikey Pro sent me the safe that connects to a Wi-Fi and to an app they

send it to me to check out so well let's check it out

okay I'm thinking that's important let's not lose that and well ...how do

you mount this?

okay now that we've got the admin out the way what I like about the safe is

it's small enough to fit into a cupboard quite inconspicuously in fact can fit

into a drawer and good old combination like a hotel safe that you would have

and here's the catcher who here's the kicker

it's got this knob inside and when you turn this knob I don't that's the

technical word for it when you turn it basically the extends these wings on the

left and the right side of the safe and secure itself into the cupboard so you

can push it far back or up front wherever you wanted simply lock it in

place now the key here is once you press the lock button actually click it one or

two more times so it really really gets wedged in there at any point you press

the release and you can take the safe out there are three ways to unlock the

safe so you can use the combination like you would normally and of course its

customizable you can change it and that's the first way the second way is

we've seen already we use the two keys that come with it those are the override

keys please don't lock your key in the safe because then you're pretty screwed

and then the third way is actually being able to unlock it through an app now the

safe connects to the app to the app connects it to the Wi-Fi the Wi-Fi

connects it to the cloud and it all basically comes down down to your app

what you do is you're able to press the unlock button from anywhere in the world

and the safe will actually open but someone is to physically be there first

to make sure the safe is connected to the Wi-Fi by simply touching a button it

just prevents kind of accidents from happening now this is quite a novel idea

so in the app you've got something called reminders now why would you need

a reminder out of a safe app well think of these situations when you on

the way to the airports and you want to be reminded to take your passport for

example that's got some value in there but I think where it's got a real value

someone who's takes prescription medication on repeat prescription

medication the day it's locked normally away in the medicine cabinet this is a

cool way to say hey don't forget to take your meds and unlock your safe and it's

all there

so that's the safe that's the iKeyp Pro safe I like it for

a couple of reasons so the first one is the ease of installation there's no

question about that I hate drilling I hate finding studs and

screws it drives me insane this is beautiful couple of second

turning up and it's pretty much done like that like simplicity so the second

reason why I like this is because of the app I don't like things being connected

for the sake of being connected there's got to be a reason this one I find the

value is in the app and having that dashboard and I've been able to unlock

that safe remotely what I mean by that is when somebody opens a safe you get an

alert on alarm and it lets you know that that's been done so there's great way of

keeping and watchful eye on your valuables

Over—Steering on Highways & Freeways & Crashing | Crash Analysis Smart - Duration: 4:58.

steering and how keeping control of the steering wheel on a highway or freeway and stay crash free.

Hi there smart drivers. Welcome back!

Rick with Smart Drive Test talking to you today about over-steering.

Now over-steering… in the first video clip here you can see that the car is passing the

other car--probably at excessive speed for the conditions on the roadway--but as the

car gets up beside the car its passing, the car deviates over and pushes the passing vehicle

off onto the shoulder of the road.

Unfortunately the driver that's passing over-steers, over corrects the vehicle, the vehicle gets

out of line.

As soon as the vehicle gets out of line because of the excess of speed the vehicle loses control

and flips over.

On this next clip you can see the vehicle merges out onto the freeway and merges across

one too many lanes of traffic.

The vehicle that's on the freeway, it driver panics over-steers, over corrects to get out

of the way of the vehicle moving into its path.

The over-steer causes the driver to lose control and subsequently s/he collides into the barrier.

And the same with the last video clip here: the same thing, the vehicle merges over, the

vehicle over-corrects, loses control on the freeway and slams into the barrier on the

roadway.

So know that it is going to be far less damaging if somebody is merging into you whether you

hit side to side than it is if you lose control of vehicle and slam head-on into a barrier.

So hold your course when other vehicles are merging and are threatening to merge in you.

You simply have to move the steering wheel less than a quarter of a turn - not even a

quarter of a turn.

Like a little bit of a turn to adjust the steering.

And oftentimes for new drivers what happens is is that they get excited, they panic, and

they over-correct, they over-steer when you need just a little bit and you have to hold

your course.

This is the other thing that happens with new drivers as well, is they get intimidated

by other drivers.

They oversteer and overcorrect and lose control of the vehicle.

Whereas you just simply have to hold the vehicle because the driver in the first clip, rather

that was passing another vehicle and dropped off onto the shoulder of the road and hit

the dirt - yes it's going to freak you out a little bit, especially if you've never had

that experience before of dropping off the pavement, but had that driver just held the

steering wheel straight and just deft control of the steering wheel.

Because we've all been in those situations as veteran drivers where we're going too fast

and we feel that the thing is going to go out of control, but as soon as that vehicle

starts to deviate from the straight line you're going to lose control.

So you have to hold the steering wheel, because if you over-steer, you're gonna lose control

and end up doing what's happened in these video clips here at high speeds.

It doesn't take much for that vehicle to get away from straight, and once it does you've

lost control and now you're riding a juggernaut that's going to probably flip and roll over,

or crash into a barrier and cause extensive damage.

So don't oversteer - hang on to that steering wheel… deft touch on the steering wheel.
