In this video we have the Nut mini
It's a lost-and-found tracker which works together with an iOS or Android app to help you locate lost items
It's the smallest and thinnest Nut smart tracker. It comes in a pastel shade of green pink blue, or white
They supply the nut mini with an adjustable strap to loop onto things and with a 3m sticky pad
It has a one touch feature. Press find on the app and your Nut mini will sound an alarm to help you locate it
If your lost item is much further away
Then you can locate its last known paired position, likely where you dropped it, on the street map on the nut app
The net mini smart tracker has a bi-directional alert
Meaning that if you walk outside of a specified distance of your paired mobile phone
Then the net mini will sound to tell you that you're about to leave your phone behind. Great feature
To pair the net mini to your phone is really easy
Just pull the protective insulation paper out, have your cell phone in range and follow the instructions as it sets itself up
Give it a name if you want to or choose from the pre-selected items and that's it
I'm not doing a full review of the app because I explored that when I reviewed the nut 2
you can see that review by clicking the link above.
I did notice one new feature on the app however, which is called Footprint. The app tracks and records your location on its calendar
You might find that useful for you
Here we can see at scale compared to the note 2. The nut mini is smaller and a little more attractive
Notice, so it doesn't have a button so you can't press a button to sound an alarm on your mobile as you can with the Nut2
But it does still have bi-directional support as I explained before which is
proactive in sounding an alarm on your cell phone if you're about to leave it behind
It's dimensions measure 36 millimeters by 24 millimeters and it's just 5.3 millimeters thick
You can attach the nut mini to a purse, wallet, a camera, maybe a drone
It's useful on your rucksack or briefcase. Those are just a few ideas
So maybe you've lost your favourite bear.. your kids favourite bear. No problem- assemble an away team, launch your app,
click locate for last-known position,
retrieve your furry dude, return him to his quarters, an erect a level-10 force field around him, job done.
One place you're not going to want to use your Nut Mini is on your car keys
The plastic unit like many trackers is mostly hollow and it's suspended against the keys
it's gonna rattle like crazy and it will drive you insane.
A quick summary of the things I like best. First is the price.
it depends where you buy. I got this one for less than $8 as I was happy to wait four weeks for overseas shipping. I
put a link in the description. For disclosure I get a small fee
if you buy from the affiliate link
The second thing- unlike many trackers the Nut Mini uses very very little battery resource
And it doesn't bug me for constant updates that would otherwise drain my data.
Oh. Help me out, please. Subscribe. Thanks for watching
