we're here at the 2017 SEMA show where we've had our first chance to see two

new special edition Chevy Colorado zr2 one is called the midnight the other is

called the dusk and why are we doing them together because actually they're

pretty similar let's talk about the midnight first just as you'd expect the

midnight special editions offer kind of a blackout theme so you get black wheels

you get a black front grille you get blackout door handles mirrors and you

get a very kind of murdered-out if you will kind of theme to that particular

vehicle but the dusk Edition zr2 does something a little bit different you can

order that in any color except black that's only for the midnight dusk

edition means that the color is going to be color matched on the door handles the

rearview mirror but you're still going to get the blackout wheels and blackout

grille and also the inserts in the headlight and the taillights so it's

gonna have a very unique look to it again it's a special edition from Chevy

only on this zr2 now this whole package costs an extra

right around $3,500 for either the midnight Edition zr2 or the dusk Edition

zr2 and it is available now so if you want this you can head over to your

Elsa - 1963 Chevrolet Impala with Sniper EFI - Duration: 2:43.

Her name is Elsa, straight up from Frozen because of the color.

We drive it every day, rain, snow, whatever, it doesn't matter that's what we use it for,

we just use them as a family vehicle.

Christey and Paul Woosley, we're from Island Kentucky and we brought our Dad's 63' Impala.

My grandfather had a 64' and I always wanted you know that certain era of car to bring

back you know the memories.

The closest that we found in our budget and the shape we wanted was a 63' so we purchased

it.

It's a 327, with 700 R4 transmission.

Got a Sniper under the hood, you couldn't ask for anything any better on cold startup.

We had a carburetor issue, had to pump it, wouldn't stay running and we would go out

to dinner and our clothes would stink because it was running rich and all that.

And we thought about well let's do the LS and that wasn't possible there is a 327 that's

in the car that's correct and there wasn't anything wrong with it.

So our budget was more or less leading toward the Sniper so that's the option we took and

so far it's working out great.

Very pleased.

Easy startup, it doesn't stink, it keeps everything level you know there's no up and down and

all of that it's just smooth makes it easy to drive.

So far it's done great.

Would you recommend it to any of your buddies?

Oh absolutely!

Definitely.

Not going back to a carburetor anytime soon?

No no, absolutely not, keep your wife happy, make it fun.

Happy wife happy life.

That's right.

If momma can drive it, anybody can drive it.

Just knowing you're out there on the highway it's not going to load up or do anything funky

on the four-lane.

We've taken several trips to Gatlinburg, Nashville, different places and I'm always the one to

get to drive it with the kids, so we load up the two car seats and the two kids and

head down the road.

Every time we go out we want to go!
