These Teraflex two and three quarter inch Front Bump Stop Extensions are for those of

you that have a 2007 and up JK and are running a lift, bigger tires, or any combination of

additional suspension components that require some more bump stop.

Now you will need to add some more bump stop for a couple of different reasons.

Bump stop extensions will help to keep a larger tire out of the fenders, so as you're flexing

off-road, this will stop the axle from travelling up before your tires makes contact with the

fenders or causes any sort of damage, and a bump stop extension is also there to keep

a shock from fully compressing because that can damage your shocks.

So again, a couple of different reasons that you'll need to add some bump stop, and there

are also a couple of different ways to do so.

There are some lower bump stop extensions that you can drill and bolt onto your lower

spring perches, and then there are these which are going to be your upper bump stop extensions.

These are going to install a little bit differently than the lower ones, not going to require

any drilling, but regardless of which bump stop extension you decide to install in your

Jeep, you are going to have to do a good bit of disassembly of your front suspension in

order to get them installed.

Now these are going to be less expensive than some of the other bump stop extensions that

are on the market that are made of other materials.

There are going to be some aluminum bump stop extensions which are of course more expensive.

These ones are going to be made out of a polyurethane material.

They're going to be less expensive, but they're still gonna work just fine.

So like I said, this is going to be a polyurethane bump stop extension.

It does have a steel portion built right into it to make sure that this isn't going to complete

compress and buckle under the pressure and the weight of your Jeep, so it's going to

do its job and extend that bump stop and keep the axle from travelling when it needs to.

One of the nice parts about this bump stop extension is that it does use that factory

jounce bumper, so you're still going to have that very soft end of the compression when

you are fully compressing your suspension.

You have that factory jounce bumper, you're still able to use that, and that's still going

to work very well for you.

So to get these installed I am gonna give a strong one out of three wrenches, again,

no major modification necessary but a good bit of disassembly.

You're gonna wanna give yourself probably close to two hours depending on the tools

you have at your disposal in order to get these installed.

So the first step in the installation is going to be sagging the suspension down and removing

your front springs.

In order to do that, you'll have to remove or loosen any of the components that keep

the axle from fully sagging.

That's going to be your sway bar end links, your shocks, your track bar, and your brake

line brackets.

Once all of those things are removed or loosened up, then sag that front axle down, pull your

front springs out of the way, then you'll remove your factory jounce bumper from its

location, insert your bump stop extension up into that mount, and then reinstall the

jounce bumper in the bottom of your bump stop extension.

Once you've done that on both sides, it's a simple matter of reinstalling the springs

and reattaching and tightening up all those components that you had loosened up to get

these installed.

These bump stop extensions are gonna run you right around $40, and I do think that's a

very fair price for what you're getting.

As I mentioned before, you can get some aluminum bump stop extensions.

Aluminum is an expensive material, of course they're gonna be more expensive than these.

I really like these because they install easily, and they just work all while being less expensive

than some of the other options.

So if you're looking for an easy to install bump stop extension, I definitely recommend

taking a look at these ones from Teraflex that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Jeep Wrangler Bushwacker Rear Trail Armor Corners (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 4:14.

These Bushwacker Rear Trail Armor Corners are for those of you with a two-door 2007

and up JK that are looking to change up the look of your Jeep, add some light protection,

or cover up some existing damage that you might already have.

Now, these rear corners of your tub are an area that's susceptible to damage if you do

some really hardcore wheeling where you're laying the Jeep over in a situation where

you're really off-camber, there are stumps or rocks jutting out.

So, having some protection in that area is something that's offered by some stronger

steel armor that is going to be much more expensive and generally require drilling into

the tub.

Now, if you're not interested in all of that but you want some light protection against

scratches from brush and you want to change up the look of your Jeep, giving it a little

bit more of that off-road styling, but save some money and not have to drill into the

tub, that's where this is going to come into play.

Or, as I mentioned before, if you already have some damage on those rear corners, you

don't want to pay to replace it but you do want to cover it up, this is gonna do that

as well.

However, I would caution you against covering up any exposed steel.

If you do have some scratching, any sort of major damage, you want to make sure that it's

painted properly before you put these on.

Otherwise, you're just gonna end up with a rusting situation that you can't see, which

can very quickly go bad.

Now, these are from Bushwacker, which means they're very high quality.

They're going to fit very, very well, but it also means they might be a couple dollars

more than some of the other versions out there on the market.

Being that these are from Bushwacker, these are made of Bushwacker's Dura-Flex 2000 TPO

material, which is a UV-resistant plastic material, so these aren't going to fade, crackle,

or otherwise end up weathering when they're out in the sun.

These are designed to, again, attach with 3M adhesives.

No drilling, no major modifications to your Jeep necessary.

In fact, if you wanted to put these on and run them for a while and then remove them,

you could certainly do that with the way that these install without any lasting effects.

I'm gonna give the install for these a strong one-out-of-three wrenches.

Even though these do just attach with some 3M adhesive, there's a little bit of disassembly

to do and a little bit of set-up, too, to get these attached properly.

So, give yourself about an hour, maybe even a little bit more to get these bolted up.

Now, the first step is going to be removing your tail lights.

You're also going to have to remove your license plate mount on the driver's side of the Jeep,

and then it's a matter of holding this up to the side of the Jeep and seeing where this

3M adhesive is going to make contact with the paint.

The most important part about getting a good bond is making sure that the painted surface

is nice and clean.

Bushwacker does provide you with some alcohol prep pads to help with that process, but any

good alcohol-based cleaner can be substituted as well.

Once you have the area nice and clean, Bushwacker suggests that you hold this up into position,

and you have these little tabs on the back of the 3M adhesive that are left long intentionally.

So, again, Bushwacker tells you in the instructions how to tape these using some Blue's Painter's

Tape, possibly, to make sure that they're not going to get tucked behind the corner

guard so that you can gain access to them and simply pull them off when you need to.

Then, Bushwacker includes very specific instructions on which tab to pull off in which order to

ensure that these are going to sit very nicely onto your Jeep.

You're not going to end up with any wrinkles or any parts that are bulging off the side

of your Wrangler.

So, follow the instructions very carefully.

Do it exactly how Bushwacker tells you to.

It might take a little bit longer, but the install is going to be very, very nice.

Once these are attached to the back of the Jeep, then it's just a matter of reassembling,

putting your license plate mount back on, and reinstalling your tail lights.

These corner guards come in at right around $120.

Obviously, that's going to be significantly less than a steel corner guard that is designed

to really protect your Jeep.

Again, these are more for the look, covering up damage, doing some light protection from

scratching, and these are going to be a little bit more expensive than some of the other

brands that are out there just because they are built with a very high quality material,

and the fit and finish is going to be very nice.

These are going to fit perfectly onto your Jeep, which is what you should expect from

a well-known company like Bushwacker that's been around for a long time.

So, if you're looking for a very high quality plastic corner guard, I definitely recommend

taking a look at these ones from Bushwacker, and you can find them right here at extremeterrain.com.

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge Third Brake Light Extension (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 4:20.

This Rugged Ridge Third Brake Light Extension is for those of you that have a 2007 and up

JK and are looking to be able to run a brake light extension that puts the third brake

light up over top of a larger spare tire.

You do need to have a third brake light that is visible in most areas to be legal and also

to be safe.

And while there are quite a few different options for running a third brake light with

a large spare tire, this is one that's going to be less expensive than some of the other

versions out there and is also going to be a pretty easy install.

There is going to be a little bit of cutting and trimming of your factory spare tire mount

in order to get this installed if you are still running that factory mount.

However, if you have an aftermarket mount, if you have a bumper-mounted spare tire mount,

you're not gonna have to do any trimming or cutting.

This is going to bolt directly into place, again making it a very easy installation.

This is also going to be adjustable like a lot of the other ones on the market, so you

can keep it right at the top of that tire, it's not sticking way up over the top, which

can look a little bit goofy, or too short to be seen.

Now this is also going to be less expensive than some of the other third brake light options

on the market.

Some of the other extensions will come with the light itself, which of course is going

to be more expensive, or with some other features made out of some other materials that can

drive the cost up a little bit.

But if you're looking for an effective and fairly priced option, this is going to be

a really good choice.

This third brake light extension is made out of steel and it's covered in a textured black

powder coat finish which will match a lot of your other off-road accessories and also

the factory black plastic trim that's on your JK right out of the factory.

Like I said before, this is designed to mount right on your tailgate using those existing

spare tire mounting locations, so there's no drilling necessary to get this installed,

and you won't even have to do any wiring or any cutting of your third brake light, which

is required with some of the other options out there.

Another nice feature of this is that you are going to get a CB antenna or flag mount built

right into this third brake light extension, so you're just getting that much more utility

with this setup.

This is fully adjustable, like I said before, at one-inch increments so you can put it exactly

how high you need it for your spare tire.

As far as the installation goes, I'm gonna give this a one out of three wrenches.

It shouldn't take you more than an hour to get this installed, and there's no cutting

or trimming to do unless you are using that factory spare tire mount.

If you are using the factory spare tire mount, the first step is of course going to be removing

that factory spare tire and removing the spare tire mount and doing that trimming.

Once you have that step completed, you can go ahead and bolt your new extended bracket

onto the tailgate, remove your third brake light from its factory mount and bolt it into

your new extended mount.

And go ahead and reinstall that factory spare tire mount if you are using it.

Of course, if you're not using it, at that step you're gonna be completely finished with

this install.

Again, no drilling necessary or any major cutting or trimming unless you're using that

factory spare tire mount, so this install is very easy and anyone can do it in their

driveway.

This extended third brake light mount is gonna run you right around $70.

And as I mentioned before, that is going to be a little bit less expensive than some of

the other options out there that actually include a light.

Now the nice thing about this one is that you don't have to hack up that factory third

brake light.

You are going to be able to reuse it in its factory form if you choose to.

You're really just remounting it in here.

The downside to not having a third brake light bracket that comes with a light is you're

not going to have any of the benefits of a more modern light, something that might be

LED.

So there are definitely going to be trade-offs.

If you're looking for something that's going to be easy to install, less expensive than

some of the others, and keep that factory look, I think this is going to be a really

nice option at a really fair price.

So if you're looking to extend that third brake light up over a large spare tire, I

definitely recommend taking a look at this third brake light extension bracket by Rugged

Ridge that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Jeep Wrangler KC HiLiTES 50" C-Series C50 LED Light Bar (1987-2017 YJ, TJ, JK) Review & Install - Duration: 6:18.

This KC HiLiTES 50-inch LED light bar with wiring harness combination is going to be

for those of you that have a 1987 and up Wrangler and are looking to add a 50-inch LED light

bar for some auxilliary lighting.

Now, these light bars in general, 50-inch light bars in general are incredibly bright.

They're going to be for when there really isn't any one in front of you, either coming

towards you or driving away from you because they just throw so many lumens.

These are gonna be for when you really need to see very far in front of you, when you're

on the trail, when you're on those dark back roads at night, again, without any traffic

around.

However, if you want something that is going to be a little bit more useful in an everyday

setting, a little bit less light, a little bit more controlled light, maybe one of the

smaller light bars is going to be a nice option.

However, a lot of you are going to install a 50-inch light bar like this one because

you like the look of the bar and you may not even use it all that often, and that's okay,

too.

However, if you are gonna be using a light bar, this is gonna be a really nice choice

because of the built quality and the fact that it comes with this really nice, completely

waterproof wiring harness.

Now, because KC is one of those premium lighting brands, you are gonna pay a little bit more

for this light bar than some of the other ones on the market, but you are going to get

a ton of light output and a very high built quality.

As far as the materials that this bar is made out of, it is going to be similar to a lot

of the other ones on the market.

This is going to be an extruded aluminum housing with a polycarbonate lens.

This does have a dual-beam pattern like a lot of the other lights out there.

So the outside corners of the light bar are going to be a 30-degree flood pattern, while

the inside is going to be a 12-degree spot.

So, even though this does have a dual beam like a lot of the other ones, this is still

going to be a little bit more narrow than a lot of the other lights on the market.

A lot of the other ones something like a 60-degree flood.

So with this light, you are gonna get a ton of projection down the trail, down the road

in front of you, not quite as much flood up close.

Now, something that does make this light bar a little bit unique is that the backing of

the reflectors, so the area that doesn't actually do any reflecting, is going to be a black

pattern, giving the light a little bit more of that stealthy look, where on a lot of the

other ones, it's gonna be the same shiny, metallic reflective material that the actual

reflector is made out of.

So again, that's just going to change the visual look of the light when the light isn't

turned on.

Now this, as it says in the title, does come with a wiring harness, like most KC products,

and that harness is going to include a switch, a fuse, a relay, everything you're going to

need to get this powered up and running.

And instead of just a two-wire pigtail on your light, you are going to have this screw-on

weatherproof connector, which will make a direct connection right into that wiring harness.

And that whole thing is going to make getting this wired up very easy.

All you're really gonna have to do is pull the wires so you can get power at the battery,

get your switch mounted in the dash, and get the other end of the harness up to this weatherproof

connector to make that connection.

Finally, something that KC has done that I'm sure a lot of the other companies will follow

suit on but haven't quite yet is adding a set of rubber isolators onto the cooling fins

of the light.

If you've run a 50-inch light bar before, you'll know that the wind passing over those

cooling fins will make a humming noise which can be very loud and very, very annoying when

you're in the cabin of the Jeep.

So there are a lot of solutions, putting tape, using RTVs, silicone sealer, really anything

to keep those fins from vibrating.

Well, KC has added three rubber isolators across the back of this light to eliminate

that issue.

As far as this installation goes, I am going to give it a one out of three wrenches.

You're not really gonna have to do any wiring at all because you have this essentially plug-and-play

wiring harness.

The whole installation process will probably take you around an hour, maybe a little bit

more depending on how clean and neatly you wanna run your wiring.

Now, one important thing to note is that this light bar, like a lot of the other 50-inch,

will come with a set of feet.

However, the vast majority of you are going to wanna purchase a 50-inch LED light bar

mount to make your installation of your bar completely no drill and completely bolt on.

Those brackets are going to attach to the windshield hinges in the front, giving you

a bolt-on bracket.

The only other way to get this bar installed would be to drill into your windshield frame,

which, again, a lot of you are not going to wanna do.

So, the first step in this installation is going to be getting the bar mounted onto the

Jeep, and as I said, a lot of you are gonna get a 50-inch LED light bar bracket in order

to do so.

You'll hang the bar in its spot, running the wire down the inside of the bracket between

the bracket and the windshield frame itself.

From there, you can get your harness installed.

So there is a group of wires that you'll have to pull through the firewall in order to get

your switch hooked up.

You're gonna have a positive and negative that are gonna go right over to the battery

to get powered.

And, of course, the other end of this weatherproof connector that needs to go over to the bottom

of the windshield frame so that that connection can be made as well.

And after that, you're done.

Flip your switch on the interior of your Jeep, fire up your light.

This light bar is gonna come in around $440, and I do think that's a pretty good price

for what you're getting.

There are light bars all over the spectrum as far as quality and price goes.

You can go on the web.

You can buy a light bar, a harness, and a set of brackets for $100, but you're going

to get some condensation behind the lens.

You're going to get LEDs that are burning out individually or the whole light bar is

just gonna stop working on you.

You're gonna have all kinds of issues.

On the flip side of that, you can get one of the top-end premium light bars on the market

that's going to cost about three times what this one does without even including the harness,

and then you still have to purchase your brackets.

So it really depends on what your budget is and what you want for your Jeep.

I think that this is a really nice mix of both quality and value.

You're going to get something that's gonna last a long time, you get 20,000 lumens, you

get your wiring harness.

However, it's not going to be that $1500 price tag that the top of the top-of-the-line lights

will carry.

So, if you're looking for a high quality but still fairly priced LED light bar for your

Jeep, I would definitely recommend taking a look at this one from KC HiLiTES that you

can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

2017 Jeeps At The Farm - Jeep Show, Mudding & Off-Roading With ExtremeTerrain - Duration: 8:50.

Ryan: I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrian.com.

And in this episode of Throttle Out, we're here at the Jeeps at the Farm event that we

are proud to be the lead sponsor of yet again.

This is an amazing event, we have some great weather, tons of awesome Jeeps out here.

We're gonna be bringing you guys with us as we go through the Show and Shine as well as

hitting that Comp Course.

And the Jeep that we're going to be bringing through that course is the built Dune Four

Door behind us.

In case you haven't seen that build, make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel

to check that out as well as a lot of other great Jeep content.

Let's go check out the event.

So we're checking out the Show and Shine area.

There are a ton of JKs, JKUs, but we also have some CJs, XJs, a little bit of everything,

including some really well built TJs here.

Not everybody's ready for that Show and Shine judging, a couple people have already hit

the Comp Course and are already absolutely covered in mud but we're gonna check out everything

that's here.

Ryan: So as we're walking through the Show and Shine area, a Jeep that definitely caught

my eye is the one behind us here.

And luckily Denny was here to tell us a little bit about it.

Very nice to meet you, Denny.

Denny: Nice to meet you.

Ryan: Thanks for telling us about your Jeep.

So the thing is obviously huge, it's on 40's.

Tell us a little bit about what you did to it.

Denny: It's a 2013 JKU Rubicon, 5 1/2 inch lift, there's a custom roll cage in it, a

custom hood, the bumpers and stuff.

Like I said, you're running on 40's, you've got to run big.

Ryan: Absolutely, and it is probably one of the biggest Jeeps out here, it's absolutely

beautifully done.

And you were telling me, it's daily driven as well right?

Denny: It's my daily driver, I drive it every day back and forth to work.

Ryan: So running 40's every day on the street, what gears are you running?

Denny: I'm running 4 88 gears and it seems like it's doing pretty good, I'm getting about

15 miles to the gallon so I can't complain.

Ryan: And with those gears, it feels pretty peppy?

Do you have any power adders on it?

Denny: Yeah, I have plenty of power, I just put the super chip in it so that's going to

help me a little bit more.

Ryan: Yeah, absolutely.

Any thoughts about any kind of forced induction maybe, a ripped supercharger?

Turbo?

Denny: I'm trying, believe me, I'm trying.

I've got to talk my wife into it, you know, that's how it always works, you know, you've

got to talk to them first.

But that's my next step.

Ryan: Yeah, that would definitely help with turning these big tires for sure.

Denny: Like today, I'm gonna take it on the track and make sure it gets dirty.

Ryan: There you go.

And that's the impressive part because when I saw it, when you see big wheels, big tires

sometimes, the Jeeps never see mud.

This one, it's got the rock rash on the wheels to prove it.

Denny's here, he's gonna run it through the course.

This one sees the on-road and the off-road and it is just an incredibly well-built Jeep,

Denny, thank you so much for telling us about it.

Enjoy running through the course.

Denny: Thank you.

Ryan: So we have all kinds of Jeeps here, I mentioned from every different generation

but also all different purposes.

There are some Jeeps that are here built specifically for the trails and then Jeeps like this which

do not hit the trails.

Now I know this is not gonna be everybody's cup of tea but it certainly is eye catching.

This thing has a ton of work done to it and it's done in a different way than a lot of

the other rigs that you'll see here.

First and foremost, you're gonna see this thing has a set of 37 x 1350 tires on it.

And even though they're 1350's, they are stretched on these absolutely massive chrome wheels.

These things, I'm guessing are probably 22's, maybe even a little bit bigger and they are

definitely wide.

When you move up from the wheel and tire package, you definitely need a big lift to support

that, probably 5-6 inches.

It has turbo badging all over it, so definitely some power adders to help you turn those big

37's, to make this thing run really, really fast on the street.

It has lights everywhere you could possibly have a light and in some places, I didn't

even know you could have lights.

And I even saw a nitrous bottle in the back, now it could be a CO2 bottle or it could actually

be nitrous.

There are a couple of LEDs facing directly up in this hood vent.

If it does have nitrous on it, that could be where the nitrous purge is to light up

that cloud which would actually be pretty cool.

It also has lights behind these huge wheels so as you're running down the road at night

when you're hitting the shows, those are going to be on as well.

So obviously, not spending a lot of time on the trail.

We're checking out all the awesome Jeeps here at the Show and Shine area at Jeeps at the

Farm and there is no shortage of built rigs.

Which reminds me, make sure to enter into our sweepstakes.

Right now, we are giving away not one but two fully built 2018 JL Wranglers.

This is the ultimate his and hers package.

Give one to your significant other, friend, family member, or be a little greedy and keep

both for yourself.

One of the Jeeps is going to be completely outfitted in Deegan 38 armor.

Deegan 38 is, of course, the brand new line of armor items exclusive to ExtremeTerrain

and the other Jeep is fully outfitted in Barricade parts.

So you can enter into the contest once a week up until November 15th and we're going to

be giving this thing away on the website on Black Friday.

So go to ExtremeTerrain.com/win to enter.

Enter once a week, get all your buddies to enter as well to give you the best chance

of winning the ultimate his and hers package.

Good luck.

So we're here at the obstacle course, there are a ton of awesome things setup over here.

We've got big rock piles, some cars to crush.

Of course, the mud pit which is always a big crowd favorite.

It's been awesome checking out everybody else running through this stuff but now it's my

turn.

Right off the bat, they've got a couple of hills here, just to kind of get you warmed

up, nothing that this Jeep can't handle, this thing is pretty well built.

Got some berms here to get a little bit off camber, gonna roll up on the side here, get

a little tippy.

It's always fun hitting these man-made hills, you're looking at the sky, then you're looking

at the ground, then the sky again.

Got some twisties here, I didn't disconnect the sway bars on this thing, so we'll see,

we'll see if we can't get it three wheeling a little bit.

Yeah, definitely got a tire lifting off the ground there.

This is a pretty cool obstacle we have up here too, got some telephone poles is all

that, watching the spotter, making sure that you have exact control over the Jeep, making

sure you're going straight and you're not going to slip off the poles.

Looks like the next row of this course has a couple of rocks, that'll be fun to hit.

Starting to build up a little bit, a little more challenging here and there.

Some logs here looks like it's plenty wide, shouldn't have a problem going left to right.

Just take it slow over top of that.

Loop around here, do a 180 back onto the next section, you've got some bigger rocks, some

bigger boulders, should be okay, I'm gonna stick to the right side here, take it nice

and easy.

Using those skid plates almost got hung up.

This looks like the biggest hill, straight up and over.

This is definitely one where you're gonna see sky then ground.

Then the car crush.

The cars are pretty flat at this point but it should still be fun.

Hopefully, I don't get hung up on anything but we've got skid plates.

And now for everybody's favorite, the mud pit.

This thing looks like it's been awesome all day long, tons of Jeeps coming out the other

side, absolutely covered in mud.

We're going to hammer down and see if we can't have some fun with it.

Got to give them a little bit of a show.

So we're coming to the end of the day here.

We had an absolutely awesome time at Jeeps at the Farm and we were so happy to be the

title sponsor this year.

We had an awesome time looking at all the Jeeps at the Show and Shine but it was even

more fun going through that obstacle course.

Make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel to check out great events like this, Jeep

builds, and some other great Jeep content.
