hey guys Albe here, this time around is time to make our spoked wheel tubeless
with game of Motor OuteX kit, so let's get into it.
First thing to do is to clean
thoroughly the the rim itself so I'm going to spare you the part where I'm
scrubbing the rim, the rim is being cleaned, I used all sorts of detergents
on it I use brake cleaner on it so it is as clean as it comes, so the next step is
to install the nipple covers, so one by one let's start doing it.
the nipple covers are going in and it's a very very tedious job so let's get on
so let's get on it
now that the nipple covers are on let's go with the double tape, when you install the
double tape you need to start between the first and the second nipple near by
the valve
the most important part is the the edges obviously
it's not as easy as they make a look in the instructions
let's put it this way, it's a mess
guess I got to put it in first and then
squish it because otherwise is not going to work it goes it goes off the track
and it's difficult to set straight, now that is in I'm going to squish it in
properly.
okay at this point it's time to cut a hole through the valve hole, this material is
very gummy it's kind of difficult to cut, just as before the the edge of the
protective film needs to be between the first and second nipple but on the other
side
let's apply the protective film
even if it seems impossible this is even more tedious than the previous step
once you get to the edge you make sure not to overlap it and you just cut it
off
this step was as much fun as getting hit in the testies by a soccer player
not very much... not much fun at all, at this point is time to cut a strip of
the double tape over here and put it over the... and put it over the joint
over there
okay at this point we're going to cut the same length from the
protective tape and we're going to put it on top of it, at this point the instructions
call to take a blunt instrument and go over and try to work out all the air
bubbles around so I'm going to do just that.
okay at this point let's put the valve through the hole ... through and we put
the washer, and then the two little nuts.
the only difference between the rear and the front tire is that the front tire
has a smaller diameter therefore as you're applying the tape
you got kind of have to bow it down, and the valve per se has double the
rubber gasket and that's about it. other than that the
procedure is identical, so we're pretty much done the next step is to put
the tire on, fill it up to 36 psi that's the pressure that they give it and let
it be for about 3 hours and then check for leaks so I'll spare you all this
time watching, I'll catch up in a minute with the finished product. So both wheels
are complete and now it's just a matter of waiting and see if they actually hold
the air, now it's been about 1 hour and a half to 2 hours since I completed
the job and they seem to be maintaining pressure so fingers crossed I'll give you
guys an update but so far those tires are being mounted tubeless as the're
supposed to be, so as I said I'll give you an update later on, in the meantime

BMW M5 2018 price, specs tech and pictures REVEALED
BMW has now officially revealed the latest generation M5 after weeks of The new BMW M5 will go on sale from February 2018. According to the German car manufacturer the new vehicle is the most advanced version of the car that has been released to date.
It is also the most powerful too. . Under the bonnet of the sixth generation M5 is a mighty 4.4-litre V8 engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology.
This engine produces 600bhp of power and maximum torque of 750Nm allowing it to charge from 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds on to a top speed of 155 mph. Combined fuel economy for the car is 26.9mpg while it churns out a hefty 241 g/km of CO2. The powertrain is paired with a new eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic which is designed for rapid gear changes. .
BMW's latest M5 will also benefit from the M xDrive which is the manufacturer's four-wheel-drive system which is adaptable thanks to a central control.
It also offers a range of different dynamic driving modes. Despite it being an all-wheel drive car it will apparently perform like a rear-wheel drive vehicle and the front axle only receives power when the rear wheels reach their limits. .
In addition to this the xDrive system can be turned off, turning the M5 into a rear-wheel drive cars designed purely for driving pleasure. The engine's overall characteristics can be altered using Drive Performance settings which has three different modes - Efficient, Sport and Sport Plus.
While BMW has spent a lot of time focusing on improving the power and driving dynamic of the new M5, they have somewhat overlooked the car's design. It is again an evolutionary upgrade from the previous-gen with a few tweaks to the front bumper and across the body. .
This is not necessarily a bad thing as the M5 is a good-looking car but with the recent revelations of the and Concept 8 Series, we thought BMW may try something radical.
The M5 will come on set of exclusive 20inch wheels with their own specially developed tyre.
Carbon ceramic brakes can also be added to the car if you splash a bit more cash as can a number of colour packs for the exterior.
Prices for the car start at £89,640 but this can rise up to six figures if you get a bit trigger happy with the online configurator.

New 2017 BMW 5-series revealed: lighter, quicker, more advanced
'If it ain't broke, don't fix it. ' That appears, in many respects, to be the approach that BMW has taken to this, the newest iteration of its fabled 5-series saloon.
Yes, these really are pictures of the seventh-generation BMW 5-series. It's codenamed G30, features a host of styling cues and tech from the larger 7-series, and is reputedly improved across the board. . So, what are the big changes?.
BMW's given the exterior of the Five a gentle working over, including adding the 'full-width' headlights and the larger kidney grilles from the 7-series. It's fractionally bigger in all respects, too, which should make it feel slightly more spacious.
A keen eye has been cast over the finer details, too, including a 10% reduction in the car's drag coefficient, compared to the previous model, to 0.22.
That's in part thanks to active shutters behind the grille, which can block drag-inducing airflow through the cooling pack and in to the engine bay when not required.
BMW also claims that, in certain specifications, the new 5-series is up to 100kg lighter than the previous version. There's no carbonfibre core, like the current 7-series, but the latest 5-series does feature lots of aluminium, high-strength steels and magnesium.
Again, a lot of these reductions have been achieved by looking at the minor details – instead of a standalone spot caliper for the parking brake, for example, BMW has integrated the mechanism into the rear calipers.
The saving? A mere two kilograms. It all adds up. What engines will be available?. As you'd expect, there will be a wide range of turbocharged petrols and diesels in the seventh-generation 5-series. So far, the line-up consists of the following:.
20-litre turbo 4-cyl petrol, 249bhp, 258lb ft, 126g/km, 52. 3mpg 30-litre turbo 6-cyl petrol, 335bhp, 332lb ft, 150g/km, 43. 5mpg 20-litre turbo 4-cyl petrol + electric drive, 248bhp, 310lb ft, 46g/km, 141. 4-litre twin-turbo V8, 456bhp, 479lb ft, 204g/km, 31.
7mpg 20-litre turbo 4-cyl diesel, 188bhp, 295lb ft, 108g/km, 68. 9mpg 20-litre turbo 4-cyl diesel, 188bhp, 295lb ft, 102g/km, 72. 4mpg 30-litre turbo 6-cyl diesel, 262bhp, 457lb ft, 118g/km of CO2, 62. 8mpg.
At least downsizing hasn't taken away all the sixes and eights that we love so dearly.
Those among you who are inclined to change gears yourself will also be glad to know that the option of a manual hasn't disappeared in its entirety – a six-speed manual is offered in the 520d.
Otherwise, each comes with an eight-speed automatic. What are the performance figures like?. The 0-62mph figures for the new 5-series are as follows:. 7sec.
BMW will also be offering a host of xDrive all-wheel-drive versions, for those looking for a 5-series with a little more traction.
At launch, xDrive will be offered as an option on the 530i, 540i, 520d and 530d, and come as standard on the M550i.
The all-wheel-drive variants will cost more, but – outside of the obvious benefits – each is fractionally quicker in the 0-62mph sprint than the rear-drive equivalent.
BMW states the system can transfer 100% of the drive to the front or to the back, from a standard distribution of 40/60 front to rear. What kind of features will it be offered with?.
Predictably, there's a whole host of modern tech available, including semi-autonomous driving systems and myriad driver aids. All versions will come with BMW's Professional Media system as standard, featuring a 10.25-inch display with touch control and the latest i-Drive set-up.
Opt for the Driving Assistance Plus Package and your 5-series will even be able to changes lanes at up to 112mph – where legal, of course – steer around obstacles and maintain the correct lane position.
BMW's revamped the heads-up display, too, making it 70% larger and improving the resolution. This rounds of a range of interior upgrades, including a new instrument cluster, acoustic glazing for the windscreen and an optional Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
The 5-series also gets a range of apps, including Car-to-X. This allows your car to communicate with other BMWs, sharing traffic and weather information.
The aim, outside of easing your commute and making sure you bring your umbrella with you, is to lay the groundwork for fully automated driving in the future – as the systems will rely heavily on car-to-car communication. Any other neat tricks?.
If you're tired of parking for yourself, tick the option box for Remote Control Parking. As the name suggests, this lets you remotely control the 5-series from outside – so you can squeeze the car in to tight spaces.
When will we find out more?. Production of the latest 5-series begins in November, and the car's set to go on sale in February 2017.
The Touring version will follow the saloon, arriving some time in spring, but the M5 isn't due until late 2017.
Expect pricing to reflect that of the current 5-series line-up, likely starting at around £30k and rising to £75k for the full-fat M5.
