2015-2017 Mustang GT Ford Performance Coyote 5.0L 4V Crate Engine Control Pack Review - Duration: 2:56.

This is the Ford Performance Engine Control Pack for manual Transmission Coyote 5.0L 4Valve

Crate Engine swap.

You're going to need this control pack in order to make a 5.0L Coyote swap into anything

other than a 2015 to 2017 GT Mustang work.

This pack is compatible with the stock 2015 to 2017, 435 horsepower stock Coyote Crate

Engine and the N/A Aluminator too.

It'll not work with any other Coyote swap.

You'll have to grab another pack.

The control pack includes a PCM with a Ford Performance calibration, electronic throttle

control accelerator pedal, so no worrying about rotting a throttle cable, an OBD2 diagnostic

port, a power distribution module, airbox, air inlet tube, mass airflow sensor, upper,

lower rad hoses and HEGO sensors.

You will need a return type fuel system with this control pack.

It's not compatible with a returnless system.

I'm going to call the install for this a three out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter

because you will be doing your engine swap with this.

The control pack harness replaces the stock body harness.

And so this will be considered a little bit of a project.

You can expect to spend a few hours, about three or so, getting the control pack installed.

Ford designed this control pack to take the complexity and mystery out of wiring a late

model 5.0L Coyote engine with a manual transmission.

With this control pack, you can drop in an N/A Aluminator or a stock Coyote Crate Engine

into anything.

Another year Mustang, a hot rod and be able to wire it up and get it running.

I've all ready listed everything that comes with this a second ago and all they're genuine

Ford Performance products.

The PCM is a re-manufactured unit and is not to be used with the 2015 and 2017 F150 engine.

The other nice thing about this control pack is that it will convert you over to a drive-by-wire

system.

You don't have to worry about re-routing the throttle cable.

The kit includes an electronic throttle control accelerator pedal or drive-by-wire that will

get rid of that throttle cable if you have one, that is.

As far as price goes, you can expect to pay $1,500 for this control pack.

This is the only control pack that'll get your Coyote swap running, so you don't really

have any other shopping options.

And the great thing about this is that this takes all the complexity and guesswork out

of wiring a 5.0L Coyote Crate engine.

You get the entire unique control pack harness that replaces the stock body harness and all

of the other engine control items that you'll need to get the engine running.
