These RedRock 4x4 Mesh Grille Inserts are for those of you that have a 2007 and up JK

and are looking up to change up the look of the front of your Jeep, as well as add a little

bit of protection to your radiator, all without changing up that iconic seven-slot grille.

Now, there are a lot of grilles that you can get out there that will have just one solid

mesh insert in the front section, of course completely changing the grille.

There are the grilles that have the eyebrow on them, the angry eyes, a lot of different

options there.

But again, if you're not looking to completely swap out the grille but you do want to get

a little bit of a unique look, a grille mesh insert like this is going to be really nice

option.

Now, RedRock 4x4 does offer some inserts that are just going to be the surround area without

the mesh in the center.

Again, these are going to change up the look even further and they're also going to offer

a little bit of protection to that radiator, which is a really nice feature.

Now, as far as mesh grille inserts go, these are going to be very fairly priced in my opinion,

and they're also going to fit very well.

In fact, they have to.

These pressure-fit into the grille, they clip into the grille, there's 3M adhesive which

makes the install very, very easy, and the uninstall very, very easy.

And, it also means that they have to fit properly in order to clip in and stay in place, and

these do.

So, I think these are gonna be a pretty good deal if you're looking to change up the look

of your grille.

These grille inserts are going to be made as a durable ABS plastic.

It is an automotive-grade plastic and that means that it is going to stand up to a stone

throw if you were to catch a stone with one of these.

They're not going to fade when they're in bright sunlight, out in the UV rays, these

aren't going to turn chalky, turn gray on you, they're not going to crack.

They're gonna hold up really, really well and they're gonna continue looking good for

a good long time.

And these do have this matte finish, which is a really nice finish.

You don't have a lot of glossiness on the Jeep from the factory.

A lot of those plastic black accents that are in the Jeep from the factory do have more

on a matte appearance so these are going to match a lot of those.

They're going to fit in very well.

And in my opinion, these looked like they could have come on your Jeep right from the

factory.

In fact, the 2016 and up Saharas, and some of the special edition Jeeps, do have a grille

insert without the mesh part, but a grille insert right from the factory.

So again, this is going to be one of those mods that's almost like an OEM-plus mod, changing

up the look without drastically changing the Jeep.

So, everyone knows it's still a jeep, just a Jeep with some personal touches.

I'm going to give this install a very simple 1 out of 3 wrenches.

You can get this done in less than an hour.

Now, RedRock 4x4 does suggest that you remove the grille to get these installed.

Now, I know a lot of you are going to look at the instructions, you're gonna look at

the inserts and you're just gonna pop them on without removing the grille.

And that's okay too, if you decide to that.

The idea behind removing the grille, is that you can ensure the the clips on the back side

of these are fully seated in place by being able to actually see the back side of the

grille and ensure that they're installed properly.

However, if you feel comfortable just popping them into the front side without taking the

grille off, that's fine, too.

So, if you follow the RedRock 4x4 instructions, you have to remove the clips across the top

of the grille and then give the grille a little bit of pull to release the clips on the bottom.

Before you that, make sure you remove your turn signal socket from the turn signal housing,

give it a quarter turn, pop it out of the way, that way you're not going to pull those

turn signal wires tight.

Once you have the grille completely removed, you can set it on a nice soft surface, lay

down a blanket , make sure you're not going to scratch it up, and then you can insert

your grille inserts from the front side, making sure that they do completely seat and completely

clip into place.

You'll be able to look at the back of the grille and ensure that all the plastic clips

are fully seated.

Once you have the inserts installed in the grille, install the grill back on the Jeep

in the reverse process, just give it a push on the bottom, reinstall the clips across

the top, and reinstall your turn signal sockets.

These mesh grille inserts are gonna be right around $65, which I do think is gonna be a

pretty fair price for them.

Of course, the version of these inserts without the mesh in the center here are gonna be a

little bit less expensive from RedRock 4x4.

Of course, they have less material, it would make sense that they be a little bit less

expensive.

Now, there are some inserts out there that are going to be significantly more expensive

than these.

There are some that are made of billet aluminum, there are some made of stainless steel, so

of course they're going to be a little pricier.

In my opinion, for an appearance item like this, are right around $50, $75 is where I

like to be.

I don't need billet aluminum grille inserts.

I think that these plastic ones, they look good, they are going to serve their purpose

and they're gonna save me some money.

So, I do think these are a pretty good deal.

So if you're looking for a fairly inexpensive and easy way to change up the look of your

grille, I definitely recommend taking a look at these mesh inserts from RedRock 4x4, and

you can find them right here at extremeterrain.com.

Jeep Wrangler Corsa Dual Axle-Back Exhaust w/ Black Tips (2007-2017 JK) Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 6:18.

This Cora dual axle-back exhaust with black tips is for those of you that have a 2007

and up JK that are looking to change up the sound and the exhaust volume that your Jeep

produces.

This is going to be a very easy to install axle-back system as with most other axle-backs,

definitely one outta three wrench installation, really only one clamp and a couple of exhaust

hangers that you need to remove in order to get your old system off and this one on.

But we'll talk more about that in just a second.

Now, any time you let your engine breathe easier in or out, theoretically you're gonna

get a little bit more power.

But because this is just an axle-back, even though it is a straight flow through muffler

you are going to get a lot more sound, a lot more volume, but not so much more power.

This is definitely not going to be a power mod.

It's going to be more of a sound and an aesthetics mod.

So a lot of you are after that dual-outlet exhaust.

It definitely changes up the look of your Jeep, and having one with the black tips like

this will definitely give you a little bit of a custom touch.

I like the tips on this system because they are a mirrored black finish instead of a matte

black finish, so, again, sets it up apart from some of the other axle-backs out there.

And of course the sound is definitely gonna set your Jeep apart from the other ones.

This is going to have a much lower and louder exhaust note.

Now, Corsa is known for making a very high quality system.

This is going to be a 304 stainless system which is one of the higher grades of stainless

that they make stainless exhausts out of, so you're not going to have to worry about

this rotting out.

It's not going to even end up with any appreciable amount of surface rust on it.

However, you are going to pay a premium for that high quality of build and material.

So this is going to be one of the more expensive axle-backs out there.

If you have the budget for it, if you're looking for quality and longevity this is definitely

going to be a nice option.

So this system is going to be made of a two and half inch mandrel-bent 304 stainless tubing.

There is 409 stainless, there is aluminized steel, but 304 is going to give you the best

rust resistance out there.

The fact that this is built with mandrel bends means that there's a piece on the inside and

the outside of the tube while they're bending it which is going to eliminate any crimping

which can cause some restriction in the exhaust flow.

This is going to be, of course, a fully-welded system.

It's going to be very high quality, very cleanly built.

You can tell that they put a lot of effort and a lot of quality control into building

their systems.

This is definitely one of the nicer exhaust systems that I've seen.

As I said before, these tips are going to be black but they're gonna be mirrored black

which sets them apart from a lot of the other ones.

It's a lot easier to just spray a high-temp black powder coat finish on a tip and call

it good.

This is going to be a mirrored black finish which is definitely gonna be a little bit

different from some of the other options out there.

So this is definitely all about quality, but that also drives the price up a little bit.

You have to be willing to pay a little bit more for this system.

Installing an axle-back on your JK is a very simple one out of three wrench installation.

This isn't going to take you more than an hour to get done.

The most difficult part is getting the factory axle-back off of the factory tailpipe if you

have a little bit of rust or sometimes releasing these exhaust hangers, again, if your Jeep

has a little bit of rust on it they might fight you a little bit.

Once that system is out of the way this is going to be that much easier to get installed.

So the first step is going to be releasing the factory exhaust clamp then releasing the

factory exhaust hangers, and it's always a good idea to spray those with a good penetrating

oil well before you get started.

It's going to make it that much easier and quicker to get that old system out of the

way.

Once you have the clamp removed, the hangers removed, just twist, pull, whatever you need

to do to get that factory system off and out of the way.

Then you're going to set this section, including the muffler and these pieces of tubing up

into place over the tailpipe using the clamp that comes with the system, hang that off

of the factory exhaust hanger, then you can attach this next elbow here, hanging it off

of the factory exhaust hanger, again using one of the clamps that comes in the system,

and finish everything off with the tips.

You'll work from the front of the Jeep to the back of the Jeep tightening up those clamps

to make sure that everything is level and sitting exactly where you want it.

I've said a couple of times now that you are going to have to pay for the quality that

you're getting with this system, quality in both materials and in build.

So this is going to be one of the more expensive axle-backs out there at right around $550.

Now, there are more expensive ones out there but this is definitely going to be up toward

the top of the price range.

If you want something that's gonna last, you want something that's very high quality, that

has a really nice sound to it, has these mirrored black tips, then this is gonna be a great

system and you're just going to have to pay a little bit more for it for those additional

features.

If you're looking for a much less expensive axle-back, we have those available as well,

but you have to know that you're not going to be getting the same build or material quality.

So if you're looking for one of the best built axle-backs that I've seen for a JK, I definitely

recommend taking a look at this Corsa system, and you can find it right here at extremeterrain.com.

Jeep Wrangler 2018 REVEALED in pictures - First look at the new car

The new Jeep Wrangler 2018 has been revealed in pictures ahead of its launch.   Official pictures released by Jeep reveal the Wrangler's updated design.

These images were shown as the SEMA show in Las Vegas as part of a presentation by Mopar - FCA Group part's arm.

Jeep has stuck largely to the formula with the Wrangler's design, with it largely resembling the previous generation.

There are some subtle updates around the highlights, grille and indicator cluster but it is much of the same from the car manufacturer.

Technical details about the car are yet to be revealed but it is expected to be powered by a choice of petrol and diesel engines.

Additionally, four wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission are likely to be available for the car.   What has been confirmed about the new Jeep is that there will be over 200 accessories to go with it, available from MOPAR.

These range from a fold down seat with cupholders in it to the usual off-roading paraphernalia such as racks and off-road lights.

Here's what Jeep said about the new Wrangler in its news release: "The most capable SUV ever delivers even more legendary Jeep 4x4 capability, a modern design that stays true to the original, advanced fuel-efficient powertrains, more open-air options, and is loaded with more safety features and advanced technology than ever before.

"The all-new Wrangler's unique design includes an instantly recognisable keystone-shaped grille, iconic round headlamps and square tail lamps, improved aerodynamics, a convenient fold-down windscreen for off-road purists, even more open-air freedom, and dozens of different door, top and windscreen combinations." The car's specs and price are expected to be confirmed when the car launches at the end of this month.  It will make its public debut on 29 November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Jeep Wrangler TruShield Pet Barrier Net (1992-2006 YJ, TJ) Review & Install - Duration: 2:59.

If you're a pet owner like myself, then I'm sure you love taking them with you on a ride.

Well, we all know it can get quite annoying and unsafe when they jump around the cab of

the jeep.

This pet divider and cargo divider by TruShield is for the '92 to '06 TJ and YJ owners who

wanna keep their best friend safe and keep themselves safe as well.

This is an inexpensive way to create a barrier that you can easily install and take down.

This installs in seconds, so I have to give this one a one outta f three wrenches on the

difficulty meter, and I'll break down the install in just a moment.

Now like I said, this is gonna keep everything in the back from flinging forward into the

front seats and it'll keep your furry friend from climbing around.

Not to mention, I think that it looks pretty damn cool.

The netting itself is made of a thick heavy-duty nylon, and at each cross, it's triple stitched

for extra strength.

It's rated strong enough to hold up to about 1,100 pounds.

So it's safe to say that this is gonna do a great job at keeping your items in the back

even if they happen to fly around.

There are multiple spots on the roll bar that this netting can attach to.

And it connects with heavy-duty buckles and straps. This will make it easy to take on and

off and you can adjust the tension so it isn't flopping around or getting loose.

It also has metal rings that attach to the square netting and the straps which makes

this very flexible with where you would like to position the straps.

Overall, this netting is affordable and will only cost you around $90.

Now, this is the only pet and cargo barrier that we currently have on the site, so there's

not much to compare it to.

Even though there's not much to compare, this does have great reviews.

So you can tell that it does its job, and it has high-quality construction.

Under a $100 with a strong quality material, I think the TruShield did it right and you're

definitely getting what you paid for for this.

Like I mentioned, this is a very simple install, and should only take you about 15 minutes

to get hooked up.You don't need any hand tools to get this installed, making this a one outta

three wrenches on the difficulty meter.

There are four straps that need to be attached to the side roll bars.

I would recommend starting with the top straps and then moving to the bottom straps.

Connect the top two straps above the top seat but don't tighten them down just yet.

Then you can attach to the bottom two straps to the bottom portion of the roll bar, and

after everything is attached, you can adjust the tension as needed to enjoy your new pet

carrier.

So if you're looking for something to keep your furry friend and all of your stuff in

your back seat, this Trushield pet divider is a great option for you.

This is Merideth with XT, and you can find this and everything else Wrangler right here

at extremeterrain.com.
