A weather control stone... water type!

The rain is using 8 sprites, flickering to create the impression of 16.

Make sure to watch this video @ 60 fps to see the effect properly!

Another weather stone… lightning type!

The lightning is a palette effect, occurring at random intervals.

Found a mana-type weather stone…

This is the "mana shroud"… The air is is filled with magical energy.

The mana sparkles rising up from the ground are two sprites appearing randomly across the screen.

They animate to create a shimmering effect.

Back to the sunny weather.

Let's experiment with palette colours. I have some debug keys to tweak them.

All the palette effects are additive / subtractive.
