Next year we will significantly expand our range of alternative drives.
In addition to the Audi e-tron quattro which is our first all-electric vehicle
we will also be revamping the
Audi A3 g-tron, our gas vehicle.
Both vehicles are unique in being powered by renewable energies,
making Audi the first and only company to achieve this at this level of consistency.
In the coming years we will experience an intensive electrification. By 2025,
Audi will no longer have any models without at least partial electrification.
However, we will have significantly expanded the g-tron range, and the h-tron, our
first vehicle with hydrogen, will also be on the market as a low-volume production model.
And all three vehicles will also have renewable energies on offer.
These can be ordered either ex works or by the customer.
In twenty years we and our customers will be driving emission-free on a global scale
and with efficient use of resources.
This means that, depending on customer requirements – long distances, short
distances, the infrastructure in the respective country, whether a hydrogen network or
an expanded charging infrastructure are available – we will give customers the freedom to choose one of
our Audi tron models or to remain with a traditional combustion engine.
Here as well, we are convinced that we are developing a concept we can use to operate these vehicles
emission-free on a global scale and also pollution-free locally.
