- [Tom] This is premium economy in a

2-3-2 configuration on the 787-9.

There's only four rows.

There are overhead lockers above all of these.

And each row of the window seats

has two windows apart from row 22.

So it goes from row 20, 21, 22, and 23.

Seats 20 K and J, I think they'd be a good choice.

- [Karen] We're seeing a 232 layout.

This was designed by David Caon, our industrial designer.

Our seat supplier was the same

seat supplier as business class.

It's Thompson Aero Seating, they're based in Belfast.

This was a prototype they had in the cupboard

that we actually saw potential to bring forward

and actually redesign our premium economy.

Not just the seat, but the experience.

It's designed for space and comfort.

A bit more privacy with the wings on the side here.

The headrest is one of the ergonomic designs,

and the pillow is actually designed specifically

to fit over the headrest, so as you're traveling

it fits in specifically to that so it's nice and comfy.

Another ergonomic design is the leg rest.

So both these two features we had an ergonomist

on the project that we worked really closely with

David Caon the seat designer and the ergonomist

to make sure that the foot rest and the pillow

once in full recline gives as much support to the body

without it being a lay-flat bed.

The screen is actually 25% larger than our previous

premium economy inflight entertainment screen,

and it also has an inbuilt ledge

that people can put their own devices in.

So we have the little pocket in here for personal stowage,

another, there's two USB ports for charging

and a shared AC power as well.

The other highlight for this seat is the integrated

(mumbles) and ambient light.

It's not meant to be a reading light,

reading lights are still overhead.

It's just more that when you're traveling

in the middle of the night

you need to find your own belongings,

and it's light enough to actually

fill out your departure card.

- [Man] Do you switch it on and off, or it stays on?

- [Karen] You can switch it on and off through the

inflight entertainment screen,

and it's been designed so that you're not

disturbing the person next to you (mumbles).

hey guys my name's Alex and I just wanted to do a quick review on this

wheel of animal seat cover that I recently purchased on Amazon now this

cover is super good quality and it came with the free travel bag and a fleece

blanket Koba absolutely loves it and so I'm just gonna show you how easy it was

to install so please keep watching all right guys so here's the bag it comes in

and this is super nice because it makes it super easy to travel with then you're

going to take everything out of it the seat cover the blanket and then put the

blanket and the bag to the side now just unfold the cover like so and then grab

the right anchors and push them in between the seats

then you're going to take the flap that goes up the back of the seat and undo

the plastic buckles and fasten the straps around the headrests then this is

optional but you can undo the velcro slots and pull the seat buckles through

then tuck the rest of the cover under the seat

next we're going to take our fleece blanket and velcro it to the cover so

our animals can have a comfy place to lay and you don't have to worry about

them sliding anywhere

then you can take the front of the cover and attach the buckles to the front

headrests and create a hammock so that your dog can't jump up front

and that's it you guys this was super easy to install no hassle at all and our

dog absolutely loves it as you can see this works with big dogs and small dogs

Nurse Tries To Interfere As Steward Removes Distressed Woman From Seat, Shaken By 3 Word

Airlines are getting a bad rap these days due to their ill treatment of passengers,

and although the media loves to dramatize such encounters, sometimes the poor reputation

the airlines have garnered is well-deserved.

Sharon Radcliffe witnessed an encounter that she'll never forget on a recent Delta flight

from Detroit to Nashville.

She was stunned when a male flight attendant approached an elderly woman, who was visibly

shaking, and removed her from her seat.

With tears in her eyes, Sharon whipped out her smartphone to document what was happening.

The steward took action not knowing another passenger was snapping pictures of the entire

thing.

Although it may seem like they're only there to serve you mediocre food and barely-there

drinks, a flight attendant's main function is actually flight safety.

They're highly trained to make sure that every single person on that plane comes to no harm

during an emergency situation.

But as a registered nurse, Sharon's main job is to ensure that people are well-cared for.

She could see that the woman's trembling was actually due to Parkinson's disease!

Even though flight attendant Jeffrey Jones could sense that the elderly passenger had

difficulty with her gait and balance, he still leaned over and asked her stand up and walk

towards the front of the plane.

Jeffrey knew that the woman didn't belong in coach, not when there was roomy VIP seating

up front!

On her Facebook page, Sharon explained:

"He noticed that a lady in coach class had Parkinson's disease and without blinking an

eye, he went to her and guided her - by the hand - to a free seat in first class!

Like WHAT????

A colleague of mine who was also on the flight, helped him get her into first class."

Jeffrey's own grandmother has been afflicted with the same ailment, so he knew right away

what he needed to do.

In fact, he was a total natural when he showed the woman lots of compassion.

Jeffrey doted on the woman for the entire duration of the flight as if she were his

own grandmother.

The flight attendant wanted her to be nearby, so he could keep an eye out on her and quickly

respond to her needs.

He was acting just like a mother hen!

"For the ENTIRE flight I could see him checking in on her, patting her back.

helping her get up, walking her (holding hands) up and down the aisle and generally "mother

hen-ing" her."

As a nurse, Sharon wanted to offer her assistance, but Jeffrey proudly said "I got this."

He appreciated the help, but this first class treatment was very personal matter for him.

Despite what the media would have you believe, not all flight attendants actually mistreat

passengers.

In fact, Jeffrey has shown what most of us should already know - that airline staff are

caring human beings first and foremost!

When Sharon returned to her seat, she was in tears.

"When I got off the plane, this is what I told Jeffrey.

"I am a nurse, and I am so impressed with how you took care of that lady.

My mother is a very young 70 years old and is a newly diagnosed Parkinson's patient.

I hope one day someone treats her as well as you treated that lady!"

This sweet experience shows that good deeds happen everywhere, both on the ground and

yes, even in the air!

Feel-good stories like these need to be told, and Jeffrey is so grateful that Sharon was

able to share his compassionate act of kindness with the rest of the world.

the rest which is not if I had one before that you had to adjust it and

unadjusted every time you wanted to take it on and off and this can also be left

in like this if you have kids back here you can leave it down this way it's just

a suv dog cover and not necessarily for pets now back here we have a non-skid

and I believe it's also waterproof I know that part's waterproof and I blue

that is tail and then as you see I left this undone too this just gets tucked in

there to hold it in place and it works very well it also has a place here that

still prone under where you would bring your car seat through we don't have any

kids - we don't need to park the car seat belt like that out this like I said

it's waterproof @mx tile it's a one size fit off and it's all adjustable you have

to have the headrest out to adjust it you spill proof non-slip rubber backing

adjustable straps with clips like I said it could be for kids or dogs it's

machine washable and it has a lifetime warranty
