- Okay, let's make these donuts.
What's the first step that I always forget?
- Um...
(laughing)
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Wait, how do we do this?
(loud thud)
- Oh!
Sometimes my art falls off the wall because it's stuck there
with blue sticky tack.
Okay, do you think this is gonna stick?
- 'Kay, let's do some donut time!
Step one, we get a bowl.
In the green bowl, we need one bowl...one bowl?
One cup of this amazing gluten free flour blend.
This is from a page called Sarah Bakes Gluten Free,
and she has her own flour mix, and I'll link that below.
It's so, so great.
So one cup of flour!
Oh no...
- It's gonna fall!
- That's okay.
- I know.
(laughing)
- This is Stump Kitchen.
It's okay if it falls.
Yes, great, yes, good technique.
- There we go!
- Great technique, I'm just lovin' it.
Okay, now...I dunno, we have to look at the recipe.
One and a half teaspoons of...
- Baking powder!
- You know, working with you, you're just such a pro...
I don't have to do anything.
Do you know what I say to that?
Well that's stumptastic!
- One quarter teaspoon baking soda.
- Baking soda baking soda
- It smells weird.
- Can I smell?
It does smell-
(thud)
A salt, salt, salt, a salt, salt salt.
Great, yeah, shake, shake, shake!
Shake, shake, shake!
Yeah!
So, Callie, I feel like we have just invented
a new stump technique.
You had kind of like a backwards swing-a-ma-doodle here...
Just let me get you on camera.
Check.
What is that technique called?
- Um...
Stumptastic technique!
- Is this the first time that the world's seen it?
- Yes.
- Well, that's great.
Stumptastic by Callie, trademark.
Now, we get to whisk it up.
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Whisk it, whisk it, whisk it up!
It's gotta be stump mixed for sure.
Okay, let's put this aside, yes, over here.
In the lovely pink bowl, we need half a cup of milk.
- Milk.
- But first we have to...
- Oh!
- Shake a shake a shake a shake a shake a shake a shake...
This is how we shake our milk on Stump Kitchen.
This is the second time we've seen this technique
but the first time that we've seen it with liquid.
Holy cow, folks, look at this skill!
- One teaspoon white or apple cider vinegar.
- Yeah.
- Vinegar!
- Do we need to shake it?
- Of course!
Shake a shake a shake a shake-
Yes, going back for that same-
- Ahhh!
- Oh yes, look at that...yeah, that is skill, folks.
[Garbled Sound Effects]
(laughing)
- I dropped the spoon in there!
- Oh, it's okay.
We're just gonna leave that, with the spoon in it,
aside for later.
That is a rock of sugar.
- Yeah!
- It's a great way to get your anger out.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And what's this technique called, Callie?
- The smashing smashering.
- That's right, the smashing smashering.
- Three tablespoons vegan butter, melted.
[Laughing] Holy cow!
- That's probably good.
- Pull.
Since when did you get tall enough to reach that?
You used to not be that tall.
(thud)
(laughing)
You know what, sometimes DIY isn't the best,
but you know what, you do what you gotta do...
(gasp)
That is brilliant.
Yes, yes!
I think the last thing we need is some vanilla.
Half a tsp.
(laughing)
Maybe like a...a lot more.
- Ready to make our icing?
- Sure.
- Okay, one cup of icing sugar.
Great technique.
- 3...2...
1!
- Boom!
One quarter cup of cocoa.
Whoa...
We're making chocolate icing.
Butter, melted!
Oh yeah, that's okay.
Yeah, yeah...
This is looking so good.
La la la la la la la.
- Okay, that's good.
(laughing)
- It's perfect, high five!
(laughing)
Let's try our icing.
- Wait, why are we using our fingers?
- That's a good question.
Mmm...
- Finally!
- All clean!
- Yes!
- Purple, red, blue, orange, or...what's that?
Yellow, orange, green!
(screams)
Here, let's go take this-
(timer goes off)
Oh!
Donuts are done!
Look who we made!
I love you.
Aw, yeah!
We're gonna let them cool down like that.
Now, our first step is opening them all.
How do you feel about untying knots, Callie?
- Well, I don't really like it...
- Me neither.
But it's something that's just gotta be done.
Oh, that one was a nice easy one.
Oh my gosh...
- I'm gonna get it before you.
- Oh my gosh I can't...what on Earth...
How did they get into a knot?
Oh my gosh...
This is like, sometimes this is what nightmares are made of.
Like, just like, having to untie knots all day.
- Can you imagine if that was your job?
- No.
(gasp)
Beautiful.
Yum, yum, yum.
Yum, yum, yum.
(laughing)
Mmm, mmm.
This was awesome.
