20% of U.S. dollar wires globally, 2.3 trillion dollars of transactions a day.

The key question we face is how can we use this data to meet our clients' needs?

The field of design strategy is about taking product concepts

and making sure that they're based within client needs,

and making sure that we're really serving who is going to be using it.

Design strategy brings three big methodologies with it.

One is building empathy through need-finding interviews.

What is their experience? What's keeping them up at night?

What are their big urgencies around their work?

Then we translate those needs through ideation, and visualize all of our thoughts and new ideas.

And third is we make mockup prototypes where we are beginning to develop the idea in front of clients

and getting feedback at the same time.

So as a new team, we are laser focused on building three data products.

The first is a recommendation engine, and it enables our clients to evaluate their performance,

set realistic targets, and take action.

The second is a cash flow predictor that facilitates active balance management.

And the third is a decision engine that automatically routes emails for our client service managers,

giving them more time for proactive client work and reducing our client response time.

A project we're working on is cash forecasting,

and so we're using the metaphor of weather forecasting when we are thinking through.

What is the visual inspiration for that tool we want to develop?

And so we use those elements to construct the potential wire frames that a client will interact with,

Because clients understand what type of information they're getting when they are reading a weather forecast,

and we want to emulate that understanding.

We really are data and design, so we have a mixture of data scientists and design strategists.

We know how to play with data, and how to build models, and that's fantastic,

but models alone don't change anything.

Um they give you numbers.

And so it's really all about combining that intelligence and that expertise with the design skill.

It's an incredibly human experience, spending time with somebody,

when you're truly wanting to learn kind of how they work, and what they think,

and what excites them during the day, and what frustrates them.

And that's actually where kind of the magic lies in terms of creating exceptional products.

hey guys welcome back to my channel why do I do that nobody knows okay so for

today's video we're going to be doing one that you guys kind of requested but

it was like I asked if you wanted to see it and you're like I mean you're kind of

you know like whatever so as far as the video goes I'm actually going to be

filming this in a two-part series okay so it is going to be my favorite brushes

people ask me a lot what kind of brushes I use to apply the

makeup to my face and honestly they really don't change a whole lot they

actually I use kind of the same brushes until they die and then I get new ones

of the exact same brush I really don't go out of my comfort zone very often so

I figured I would share with you guys kind of like once and for all what

exactly are my favorite brushes so I figured we would do kind of face brushes

first because the base the face and the base you know anyway and then we would

do AI brushes after that I have rings on oh my god we're gonna go ahead and start

with the face ones first and then the next video will be the eye of brushes so

I have picked out ten of my favorite brushes that I use pretty much on a

daily basis let's begin shall we so I've made a list and checked it twice

you know and these are the ones that we're gonna talk about alright so I'm

gonna just kind of go down in order it doesn't necessarily mean this is you

order but I apply Pink's to my face but this is how I wrote them down to the

time I'm gonna talk about them cuz it's the only way I could stay focused okay

okay so the very first brush that I'm going to talk about is one that I have

actually glued back together at one point oh I should probably well I can't

I want to purchase a new one but I literally can't because this brush is

actually no longer made um or at least in this fashion I haven't really looked

to see if it's been like recreated but that's why I've like held on to it like

baby didn't treasured it because to my knowledge I can't get it again so this

is the morphe e 2 brush this is what it looks like it is just a really big

big like round whoa there's a really big round fluffy face brush no I use this to

apply my powder to my face I haven't filmed a foundation routine in a while

after you guys but this is actually what I do after I put on all of my

translucent powders and I put on a foundation powder on top of it this is

the brush that I use to do just that so it kind of dusts the way the translucent

powders and lays down the foundation powder for me so this is the person I

like to do with just because it's like big and fluffy and too perfect and I

love the tapered handle it's just I love you so much just like this literally

popped off one time whenever I was cleaning it so I just glued it right

back on and we're going strong we're still going strong oh you oh my god you

so a lot of my brushes are kind of janky because like I said I literally use them

until they die so this one this is the morphe s 13 you literally can't even

read the name on it anymore because it's so old I've had it for so long this is

what it looks like it is I use it as a tapered a blush brush

oh my brushes are dirty okay this it I use it as a tapered a blush brush I mean

like look the feels like janky not me it's like janky and beat up and just

looks not the best but this is the best the best blush brush I have ever used in

my entire life I've also glued this one back together I think multiple times

they just pop off man and I don't wanna get rid of it I love you I like I love

you I have another morphe blush brush that I use every once around when this

one is just like so dirty and so much blush in it that I literally can't get

the color that I want to go on my face so I have another one that is tapered

just like this I think I do prefer these tapered brushes to apply my blush with

however this is the exact one that I use on a daily basis

the next one so this one is the more Fiji 35 this brush

actually came and hello there we go this brush actually came in the gun

metal collection that's why it has the G I use it has a contour brush just like I

literally just kind of like turn my head and just do one of these numbers and I

just like how it gets like really into the kind of like chisel cheek area you

know like on both sides you know do one of those things I'm gonna actually

mention another brush that I like to contour with as well but I've really

been enjoying this one and go back and forth between the two the other one I'm

going to show you so as this one's too dirty then I use

the other one like vice versa the next one is kind of like the sister brush

that I got in that gunmetal collection this one doesn't necessarily have a name

it is just another kind of like tapered focusing there we go this one is kind of

like another tapered powder brush as well it's smaller it's a little bit

bigger than the g35 that I just showed you this one I like to apply my

under-eye powder with like after I baked and whatnot I will literally just like

and then I'll do like a little dusting on my chin down my nose it on my

forehead to kind of bring highlighted to bring a highlighted look to those areas

this is the brush should I use that for and this is such a fantastic brush and

it's held up great I've had it for a very long time like both of those

brushes and I haven't had to agree glue anything I haven't had to do anything so

so the next brush that I want to mention isn't necessarily a name brand of a

blush brush like those last ones were all morphe brushes which I'm not like a

big morphe snob it's just like they're really affordable brushes and they're

really good quality so why the hell wouldn't I use them first of all so this

is a duo fiber blending brush so this is kind of what they look like you could

see how the duo fiber means like here is one type of fibers

- another type of fibers up here same thing these are synthetic brushes

meaning they don't hold a ton of powder within them they do they blend really

well so they're not gonna like pick up a bunch of your product however if you

press too hard with these they will move your product around on your face so you

got weaker but I explained to a client recently that these are basically the

blending brushes of the face so whenever I apply anything whether it's bronzer

blush whatever after I applied on that layer I

will literally go over this like with a pretty light like light pressure and

just like blend it like just blend everything in this is kind of like your

blending brush that gets to your eye this is kind of what this is for the

face so I just think everything looks a little more natural and a little bit

more put together whenever you use a brush like this it doesn't look so harsh

like all the different like I have on bronzer contour blush and highlight and

I don't think you can see the difference between each layer of product because I

have blended it all together using this type of brush I keep multiple of these

handy because they get dirty very quickly like this one is literally

filthy dirty it doesn't want to be seen it's so dirty

regardless it's filthy dirty just because you are going over multiple

types of powders and products with it every day so it's good have multiple

okay so here is wine that should literally be no shock to anybody because

I literally made a dedicated video just to this brush this is the affinity

Beauty highlighting brush the cheek hugging highlight brush all that's fun

see name since I made that video specifically for this highlight brush I

have used it every single day since I still haven't just as much as I did in

that video like that was no line none of that was faked or staged or anything

that was my genuine reaction like I genuinely love this brush so no wonder I

mentioning it is this one right here okay so I got this brush in a huge

unicorn set at IMATS last year this is kind of what it's like

it's just a larger fluffy brush fluffy face brush this is kind of hmm but I put

my bronzer with this is what I'm trying to get at it's like for me the perfect

sized brush that I can be very precise and very specific with where I put my

bronzer however I'm also not gonna get like harsh lines because like it's still

fluffy and it's gonna blend everything beautifully especially if I go over with

a duo fiber brush I would suggest finding a brush similar to this kind of

fluffier like I said so you can be kind of precise with where you want to place

your bronzer however it also is going to and everything really nicely so brushes

like like the other brushes it's really easy for me to be like you know hey this

is what I use this brush for this is the name of it this is where you can get it

bah-bah-bah where it's like this one it's like you'll probably never find

this exactly okay so the very next one is the Kat Von D shade + light contour

and highlight brush so whenever I was talking earlier about how I had kind of

a second brush to show you they did the exact same thing is fill out the to

gunmetal brushes this is what I was talking about I like that it's dual

ended because this is actually a really travel friendly brush so I can literally

get the job of those both of those brushes without taking up the space so

this end is the shade end or what I would use to contour I like that it's

angled sometimes I really do like a little angle to it and I can literally

just like Ormeau however you wanting to do it and do the same like everywhere

else and then this side I lay down the highlight shade or this is called the

light side of this brush and you can just Pat the lightening powder just like

that so I know this brush came out whenever her shade and light palette

came out I don't know if she still sells this brush um I got this so long ago

like literally when that first came out like when it was still in a cardboard

like paper type component like now I think it's like plastic and super fancy

I I really like this brush like I said it's perfect for travel and it's a great

job but what it's supposed to do and I love it so this next one is my favorite

foundation brush this is the morphe in 439 I think literally everybody on the

planet has heard of this brush okay so this is what it looks like right here it

is just a dome-shaped really dense brush it is perfect for putting down that

liquid foundation and just blending it into perfection so I have three of these

I think okay so another last brush that I want to talk about for the face is

this one right here this is the morphe e30 I love this little guy and this

teeny brush is actually what I use to contour minutes so what I'll do is I

will into the Prada to take it over here my yes okay and

then I'll literally just go like this down both sides of my nose underneath of

here and I just this brush is just like the perfect shape it's a perfect size to

give me the perfect nose contour my nose is just a tiny bit crooked here in the

bridge so this does a really good job at straining and that baby out and then I

use the duo fiber brush to just blend everything in and whoa I did it in 20

minutes I got em all so that's it guys that is it for all the face brushes

there was all 10 of them I didn't go and like I mean I didn't go into like 20

minutes of detail on each brush because I just don't think it's necessary and

like disclaimer you can use a makeup brush for anything you want okay you can

use this giant ass brush to put your blush on if you want okay there are no

rules that's the best part bad enough so that is just what I use my brushes for

those are the particular brushes that I enjoy that I like to use they may not

work out for you you may be like bitch I was like and that's fine you allowed but

as far as I go as far as my preferences those brushes get the job done and then

they give you this so yeah so okay well that's it guys thanks so much for tuning

The Next Project From Morgan Is A Bus

Morgan has announced that its next project is a bus – but its not going to be building one, rather it has announced that it is bringing back the iconic Routemaster bus for a run of public events in 2018.

The bus the company will be showing off is the penultimate example to be taken off the streets of London, getting a special send-off from years of service on December 9, 2005.

It is thought to have clocked up more than 1.5 million miles (2.4M kilometers) during its lifetime of service as a London workhorse.

The last of the traditional London buses to be taken out of service is currently on display at the London Bus Museum at Brooklands and is identical to Morgans recently acquired bus, right down to the 7.

7-liter Iveco diesel engine.

Morgan has bought its bus because it was built in the same year as the first Plus 8 – 1968 – and the companys engineers have set to work on what they call a sympathetic conversion to ready the big red fun bus for public appearances.

The changes arent drastic, the company says that the bus arrived at its Malvern HQ in incredible condition, and many of the buss original features and characteristics will be preserved.

All work on the bus will be carried out by hand by Morgan mechanics in the true spirit of the company.

The Routemaster bus is arguably one of the most iconic vehicles in existence, it serves as a symbol of Britain and is part of our national identity, said Morgan MD Steve Morris.

It gives us great pleasure to continue the life of one of the last decommissioned buses as our event space..

Morgan has an exciting year ahead, and we can't wait to utilize the bus at events all around the U.K.

Our plans for the bus will make it the ideal event space for Morgan customers and enthusiasts alike..
