The e-tron is first and foremost an SUV

that just happens to be an electric vehicle.

So you're getting all the comforts that you've come

to know throughout our SUV lineup in the e-tron,

but you're getting it in an electric package.

But what's really exciting about the e-tron

is the push and rush of acceleration

that you get gives you a unique driving experience

that's unlike anything else you've experienced before.

The e-tron comes with a charger that's included with the vehicle

to allow you to charge at home overnight.

But if you don't have a high- voltage charger in your garage,

we've teamed up with Amazon to make it very easy

to have an electrician come to your house

and install that charging cable for you.

How does electricity take shape?

It begins with a spark of inspiration.

A vision that calls for aesthetics and aerodynamics

to sing in stunning harmony.

Bold surfaces are sculpted...

streamlined...

and scrutinized.

Beauty battles brutality.

Winds, conquered.

Efficiency, maximized.

Electricity takes shape in the glow of ambient LED lighting...

In the curve of a wraparound dash...

And in the company of progressive technologies.

This is the shape of a rapidly approaching revolution.

It was a big theme to make a modern, timeless,

quattro muscled sculpture.

We wanted to do the most sporty A6 ever done.

You should really see that it's an Audi, but every new car

of ours has a different way of speaking that language.

♪♪

My name is Helmut Jung, and I'm the exterior designer

of the A6 sedan.

The A6 shows like the A7 and A8 already before,

our new family face with that super-wide Singleframe.

And it brings a lot of width into the car,

but at the same time,

also a lot of sportiness and a lot of prestige.

We managed to get the front axles more forward.

We reduced the overhang.

And the car looks super low

because of a lot of cool features.

So we have that beautiful, softly but still precise

integrated quattro blisters,

which gives the car a really powerful stance.

The designer wants to have the car as low as possible

and as wide as possible.

It's a really tough engineering, but in the end we managed to get

a really cool combination of bringing it all together.

♪♪

My favorite view is the three-quarter rear view

where you see these quattro muscles.

And with this kick in the shoulder, it looks like the

wheels are even more out then they already are.

The rear has this beautiful feature with this horizontal

aluminum bar, and the rear lights, which have the biggest

volume on the corners so it's really stretching the car.

We have many design departments for the headlights,

or for the rear lights, or for the rims.

And everyone: "I want to have this angle," "I want to have

this angle," and in the end, it needs to have a nice sculpture

which is fitting together.

So we managed to get a really dark headlight,

but silver and really bright.

So you read it as a really small object,

but in the end it's a big one.

And it's really communicating the intelligence of the car

with all these sensors and digitalization of the interior.

The shot line on the engine hood is a very complex corner

because we had to fulfill a lot of pedestrian safety rules,

and it took a lot of energy to make that real.

We also have this typical A6 roofline with a super-fluent

C post which almost gives you the impression of a coupe,

but with the trunk lid together, you can still see it's a sedan.

♪♪

It's an amazing feeling if you see the car for the first time

driving outside and you see all the reflections and little

things are going on, and it makes the thing alive.

And that's what we're all dreaming about.

We're creating a living sculpture.

That's the best thing in the world.

How can a car model this young already be a classic?

A closer look at the Audi A7 begins to explain.

Sharply tensioned lines and curved surfaces

characterize the breathtaking side view of the A7.

The enhanced boat line moves fluidly across the body

and into the wheel arch.

Emerging from the rear contour,

the adaptive rear spoiler vanishes when no longer needed.

The sloping roof defines the profile and propels the A7

with a feeling of motion.

The award-winning Sportback silhouette-

a nod to the Audi 100 Coupe S-

complements its pioneering design

by giving easy access to the spacious cargo area in back.

Everything on the A7 has been designed with artistry

and engineering in mind.

Audi's illumination innovations

are crafted around dynamic lighting,

and effectively integrate creative flair

with advanced lighting technology.

The headlights are divided horizontally, and the available

HD-Matrix design with Audi laser light technology

helps illuminate the road ahead.

The taillights expand on the theme with dynamic indicators

and available animation.

Once inside, it's easy to see that the A7 is affectionately

designed around the driver.

The MMI touch response system utilizes haptic feedback on its

10.1-inch upper and 8.6-inch lower displays.

The intuitive interface,

inspired by typical smartphone navigation,

optimizes the driver's control of settings and infotainment,

as well as enhanced handwriting recognition.

The virtual 3D view allows the driver to use the touchscreen,

rotating and zooming the image of the car

and the vehicle's actual surroundings.

The next generation of Audi connect introduces

connected navigation, 3D city models with predictive routing,

and a more refined natural language selection system.

The available dynamic all-wheel steering system

connects the driver to the road like never before.

Steering wheel feedback automatically balances

for comfort while cruising, and provides more responsive control

while driving dynamically.

The rear-wheel steering

turns the rear wheels up to five degrees.

The available adaptive damping suspension brings yet another

level of driver-focused innovation to the A7.

Sensors on all four wheels measure the movement,

and the vehicle's lateral and longitudinal acceleration,

which then controls damper characteristics as needed

for better comfort.

The A7 drivers assist systems

enhance some of the previous generation's features

and bring new ones as well.

Adaptive cruise assist

eases the stress of the road

at normal highway speeds

with active lane sensing,

stop and go,

and steering guidance.

The Audi pre sense 360 system

can help detect collision hazards around the car

and can initiate specific preventive measures,

ranging from a full brake application

to seat adjustments,

and pre-tensioning of the safety belts.

Intersection assist

brings the functionality of rear cross traffic

to the front of the car,

and can provide warnings through a brake jolt

if a hazard from the side is detected.

The spaciousness of a sedan.

The versatility of a Sportback.

With all the emotion of a coupe.

Hello, I'm Asko and welcome to "Sweatpants garage"

This time we continue test fitting that brake booster

have to see if it really fits.

My welding machine is at my brothers so I can't weld that rod

at least we need to remove those bolts from the firewall

and see if that booster will fit in it's place

anyway, let's get to work

I took the hood off as it was bit in away

it had no support to keep it open

other end of the gas spring has removed from there

dunno why... it should be there

so I took the hood off to get more room to work with

I also put that power steering return line back

originally it was routed from the top

I moved it to go from the bottom and it went just ok

It doesn't hit anything so it can be there

now we have plenty of room to that brake booster

these bolts should be removed and see if the booster will fit

think I had to take a slice from there also

and when Santa didn't bring me a new angle grinder

even when I had wished it so i had to go buy one

got this new ryobis brushless one

so we test that also how it works

haven't used yet. I just unboxed it and added a battery to it

I refurfished this booster yesterday or was it yesterday

it turned out quite ok. You can see few scratches

but it's fine for me

at least it's better now than it was earlier

but lets do some cutting and see if this fits

it fits like a glove

its steady and doesn't hit anything

had to take piece from there

dunno if it has any structural effects

prolly body is now even more flexible than it already is

scratched the booster when fitted it

next we have to figure that incoming pressure side pipe of the power steering

it had a spiral section and prolly I have to bend that a bit

I start to do that next and if it goes ok I will wash this section of the engine

and prolly I take that brake bomb off also

that pipe went there really easily I just opened that coil section a bit

there it is now

then we take that booster off I think I have to spray some paint to it

then we start to wash this

Oh that brake bomb had to be taken off

so we get this pipe away also

placed some saw dust on the floor as there were some oil residue on the floor

I have figured that it's good and cheap

it will absorb all the residue oil

I just leave it there and sweep the floor after some time

but this cleaned up pretty well

this section was full off oil and other depree

ok we will end here

now we have properly test fitterd that booster

and engine bay is bit more cleaner

at least you don't mess your hands imidiately

and we are still at 68.80€ if we don't calculate that engine cleaner

we can add like 2€ from it so we are at 70.80€

but anyway as I said on the previous episode we start to make shorter episodes

so this was it and we'll se on the next time

and prolly we continue to make that rod to that booster

think I'll try to get that engine running also

atleast I will put cooler and coolant in

but anyway bye for now!
