Welcome to ShopRite Smart Meals. we're going to teach you how to make some
We're going to teach you how to make some
healthy snacks for your upcoming Sixers watch party and today we are going to do
Spicy Jicama fries.
Yeah World, are you ready for this?
Spicy Jicama fries I'm ready for it.
Alright let's go.
First step, we're gonna grab the Jicama and throw it into the bowl.
All right now we're gonna grab
some of the spices here and the olive oil and throw in it
Okay some of these spices
This is a great oh yeah look at that.
Now we're gonna get a little messy you're gonna throw your hands in there and mix it all around.
Mix it all around? Mix it all around.
Come on show him how it's done World.
That's how it's done.
So Matthew, why spicy Jicama fries versus
french fries cause World and I we like french fries
We're looking for a healthier snack so that's why we do something like Jicama fries because
we're not gonna get all that starch and carbohydrates. We're gonna get
lots of fiber a lot of flavor. We still get that nice crispiness on
the outside but the soft pillowiness on the inside right but in a little healthier way.
Yeah you're doing it great this is good.
So Matthew, what's the biggest difference between frying foods and baking?
What are we trying to avoid,
The fat, the salt, the sugar in our food so like cooking something in the oven
roasting all those different types of cooking techniques you know it's a
healthier way to enjoy our snacks.
World, you're gonna throw these in there now
Matthew wanna do the honors?
All right all right easy now it's hot all right.
You got to make sure you line this up right cause the oven is hot I can feel
it right now okay that's good.
Well done well done. I'm feeling good.
Everybody shake it out shake it out.
Feeling good we're doing well.
Dude that was the fastest 45 minutes ever.
Oh my. Slam dunk. Here's a slam dunk.

Smart motorways are making it harder for us to pull over criminals, say police chiefs - Duration: 5:34.
Police have expressed concern over the roll out of new smart motorways, warning they will make it more difficult to catch dangerous drivers
Large stretches of Britain's motorway network is being upgraded with new technology intended to improve traffic flow and ease congestion
Among the initiatives being rolled out is the removal of hard shoulders from around 300 miles of the busiest stretches
But senior officers have warned that the lack of an emergency lane will mean it is impossible to pull over problem drivers
David Blundell, who leads on roads policing for the Police Federation, said: "The difficulty with smart motorways is that they are difficult for the police to operate on, there's no hard shoulder, so where do we safely stop another motorist if they have committed an offence or we want to give them some advice? "The answer is we can't and we have to wait miles and miles and miles until we're able to do that
There are lots of questions that need to be asked." Smart motorways without hard shoulders have emergency lay-bys every 1
5 miles, but a recent RAC survey found the the majority of road users had no idea what to do if they broke down
An all-party committee of MPs has also warned about the potential dangers of removing hard shoulders and has said it could put recovery drivers' lives at risk
Smart Motorways John Apter, the chair of the Police Federation, also warned about the impact of reducing the number of traffic patrols
He said Britain's roads were beginning to resemble "The Wacky Races", with a significant increase in anti-social driving such as tailgating, speeding and drivers using their mobile phones while at the wheel
The number of dedicated road traffic officers has fallen by 11 per cent over the last two years, with speed cameras and other remote technology taking their place
But speaking at the National Roads Policing Conference, Mr Apter said cameras did not provide the deterrent that an officer in a marked car did
He said: "It's like The Wacky Races out there with some of the stuff we see. A lack of a visible deterrent for motorists will mean that their behaviour is not moderated
"And those who wish to drive in an anti-social dangerous way, without fear of being caught, will do so
"On journeys now, you'll see motorists regularly driving in an anti-social dangerous and aggressive way
They're just not being caught. They're driving without a care." "What we need are police officers on the ground, the visible deterrent
We need the drink, drug, aggressive, dangerous driver to be fearful of being caught
" He added: "The motorway is a hostile environment to be on out of the vehicle. Tragically, we see more people killed who have been involved in a relatively minor collision who get out their vehicle on the hard shoulder and are hit
"We have police officers who have been killed or have been seriously injured when they stop on the hard shoulder
Smart motorways must take all of that into account as it does cause a greater risk
"

Smart Mind - English - Present Perfect Continuous - Duration: 5:38.
In this video you are going to learn:
Using the Present Perfect Continuous
On the left side you have the menu that will guide you.
Using the present perfect continuous (also called the present perfect progressive)
Unfinished actions
1: To say how long for unfinished actions, which started in the past and continue to
the present.
We often use this with 'for' and 'since'
I've been living in London for two years.
· She's been working here since 2004.
· We've been waiting for the bus for hours.
This use is very similar to how we use the present perfect simple, and often it's possible
to use either tense.
Of course, with stative verbs, we can't use the present perfect continuous.
· I've been here for hours.
2: For temporary habits or situations.
The action started in the past and continues to the present in the same way as with use
number 1, but we don't answer the questions about 'how long' so clearly.
Instead, we use a word like 'recently'.
· I've been going to the gym a lot recently.
· They've been living with his mother while they look for a house.
· I've been reading a lot recently.
This is very similar to the use of the present continuous for temporary habits and often
either tense is possible.
Finished actions 3: Actions which have recently stopped (though
the whole action can be unfinished) and have a result, which we can often see, hear, or
feel, in the present.
We don't use a time word here.
· I'm so tired, I've been studying.
· I've been running, so I'm really hot.
· It's been raining so the pavement is wet.
The present perfect simple has a very similar use, which focuses on the result of the action,
whereas the present perfect continuous focuses on the action itself.

Celtics coach Brad Stevens calls Aron Baynes, Marcus Smart 'splash brothers' - Duration: 2:18.
Brad Stevens praised the shooting of Aron Baynes and Marcus Smart on Monday. The duo tallied 18 points from 3-point range in the Celtics' 112-104 victory over the Nets
They combined to make six of their 15 attempts from behind the arc, and Stevens called them Boston's "splash brothers
" Brad Stevens said Marcus Smart and Aron Baynes are the Celtics' "Splash Brothers" 😆 pic
twitter.com/FvlWPZwttQ— NBA on ESPN (@ESPNNBA) January 29, 2019 The original "splash brothers" are Warriors guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, who the Celtics lost to Saturday
Smart laughed when he heard about Stevens' comments and acknowledged that he doesn't quite live up to the Warriors duo's shooting prowess
"We're nowhere near that," Smart said. "We're just you know, taking good shots and you know, and making the shots that we get
" Both players have been much improved from behind the arc this season. Smart entered the game shooting 36
3 percent from 3-point range while Baynes was knocking down 31.7 percent of his long-range attempts
