Hey, what's up?

Today we are in BMW and I'm going to share with you some tips so you better know which

navigation system you have in your BMW.

So the thing is that BMW is making all the navigation systems with very similar user

interface.

And each generation of the navigation system is available in two version.

With the small (narrow) screen and with the wide screen.

And to complicate this even more each of this navigation system versions is using different

set of maps.

So if you are looking for maps update for your BMW you'll have a really hard time to

find the correct ones if you don't want to go to your dealership so they do it for you.

But luckily you can check the codename that you navigation database is using.

To do that go to the navigation, the press OPTION, scroll all the way down to the end

of the list.

You have the Navigation Version over here.

And you will see that you have currently installed maps for a certain region like the East and

Central Europe over here, you have the database date,

and you have the name like here we have the MOTION.

Each iDrive generation with its version is using a different codename so the MOTION is

only for the CIC Business navigation.

If you have PREMIUM, you have the CIC professional with the wide screen.

If you have MOVE, you have NBT Business with small screen.

If you have NEXT, you have NBT Professional with the wide screen.

If you have ROUTE, you have EVO Business with the small screen.

And if you have EVO, you have the EVO Professional with the wide screen.

Ofcourse there are new versions of the iDrive system like the MGU which was presented few

months ago.

And we have the old CCC navigation with is using the DVD disk for database storage.

follow to check which navigation you have in your car.

2020 BMW M8 Gran Coupe Ready To Challenge AMG's GT 63 S - Duration: 2:44.

Less than a year after its debut in concept form at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the BMW M8 Gran Coupe has been spotted in the wild

The good news is that the production model sticks as close as possible to the stunning study from a design standpoint

Naturally, unlike the study it does have door handles and normal-sized side mirrors but not much seems to have been lost in the transition from design study to production car

The bumpers adopt a similar appearance to those of the Concept M8 Gran Coupe although they do seem to have been toned down for production; the vertical vents in the rear bumper are gone, as are the vertical air intakes in the front bumper

Apparently, the fender vents had to go too and that's a shame.Other than that, chances are the production M8 Gran Coupe will indeed be a performance beast

The beefy brakes and typical quad exhaust pipes hint at some serious power, as do the big wheels, which don't look that big on the massive body by the way

While there are no photos of the interior yet, you already know what it will look like if you have taken a peek inside the new BMW 8 Series

Sure, the cabin will be spiced up with M Division touches, but the overall layout will remain unchanged

The four-door M8 will use the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine as the M8 Coupe and Convertible and the standard M xDrive AWD system with full RWD mode

BMW said the unit will have more than 591 hp (600 PS) on tap, so something around 625 PS (617 hp) looks likely

That's what the same engine makes in the M5 Competition and it fits with M Division boss' suggestions that the M8 will be more powerful than the M5

We do know the regular M8 Coupe will come in a Competition version as well, which should offer even more power

We see no reason for the M8 Gran Coupe not to get such a version, too.Expect the BMW M8 Gran Coupe to debut at the end of this year or in early 2020, following the M8 Coupe and Convertible that should come this spring or summer at the latest

BMW는 환경 친화적 인 전기 자동차로 스포츠 유틸리티 차량 (SUV)의 변경을 준비 중이다 - Duration: 4:02.

BMW가 리콜 악재를 딛고 재도약을 위한 대규모 신차 공세를 준비 중이다.

올해 선보일 신차는 '17종'으로 사상 최대 수준이다.

주력 세단과 스포츠유틸리티차량(SUV)은 물론 친환경 전기차까지 다양한 대어급 신차를 쏟아내며 수입차 왕좌 탈환에 속도를 낼 방침이다.

27일 업계에 따르면 BMW코리아는 올해 신차 출시 예정 리스트를 확정했다.

리스트에 포함된 신차는 상반기 7종,

하반기 10종 등 모두 17종에 달한다.

이 가운데 국내 시장에 새롭게 선보이는 신형 모델은 10종,

세대 변경을 거치는 부분변경 모델은 5종,

상품성을 개선하는 부분변경 모델은 2종이다.

BMW는 이달 플러그인 하이브리드 스포츠카 'i8 로드스터'를 시작으로 본격적인 신차 출시에 돌입한다.

2월 대형 SUV '뉴 X5',

3월 준중형 세단 '뉴 3시리즈'를 잇달아 내놓는다.

세 차종 모두 완전변경을 거쳐 상품성을 대대적으로 개선한 것이 특징이다.

아울러 1분기 중 고성능 쿠페 '뉴 M2 컴페티션',

주행거리를 대폭 늘린 전기차 'i3 120Ah',

2분기에는 BMW 새로운 플래그십 대형 SUV로 자리할 '뉴 X7'을 처음 소개한다.

스포츠 쿠페 '뉴 Z4'를 선보인다.

하반기에도 굵직한 신차가 출시를 준비 중이다.

3분기에는 플래그십 대형 세단 '뉴 7시리즈' 부분변경 모델과 국내에 첫선을 보이는 고성능 SUV '뉴 X3 M' '뉴 X4 M' 판매에 돌입할 예정이다.

소형차 '뉴 1시리즈'와 쿠페형 SUV '뉴 X6'가 완전변경을 거쳐 출시한다.

대어급 신차 출시는 4분기까지 이어진다.

'뉴 8시리즈'는 쿠페와 컨버터블,

그란쿠페 세 가지 버전,

'뉴 M8'은 쿠페와 컨버터블 두 가지 버전으로 나온다.

업계는 BMW가 올해 신차효과를 기반으로 소비자 선택 폭을 넓히며 지난해 주춤했던 판매량을 끌어 올릴 것으로 보고 있다.

올해 출시를 준비 중인 신차 대다수가 중대형 차급,

고급 차량에 집중돼 회사 수익성 향상에도 도움이 될 전망이다.

한국수입자동차협회(KAIDA)에 따르면 지난해 BMW는 대규모 리콜과 인증 지연 여파로 2017년보다 15.

3% 줄어든 5만524대를 판매하는 데 그쳤다.

시장 점유율은 2017년 25.

5%에서 지난해 19.

3%까지로 떨어졌다.

같은 기간 1위 메르세데스-벤츠와 판매 격차도 9200여대에서 2만여대로 두 배 가까이 벌어졌다.

BMW는 신차 출시 준비와 함께 지난해부터 진행 중인 대규모 리콜에도 최선을 다할 방침이다.

현재 리콜은 빠른 속도로 순항 중이다.

지난주 기준 리콜 이행률은 1차 9만9663대(93.

5%),

2차2만8586대(43.

4%)로 집계됐다.

올해 남은 리콜 이행을 이른 시일 내 마무리 짓고 판매 회복에 집중할 방침이다.

BMW코리아 관계자는 "고객 안전을 최우선으로 리콜 100% 이행을 위해 당국과 긴밀히 협조하고 있다"면서 "올해도 추가 리콜의 조속한 마무리를 위해 총력을 다하겠다"라고 말했다.

Become An Expert In 2020 Toyota Supra's BMW-Sourced Engine - Duration: 2:10.

The legendary 2JZ 3.0-liter inline-six engine is in a big part responsible for the Supra A80's fame, especially in range-topping 2JZ-GTE twin-turbo guise

Interestingly, the new BMW-sourced 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six (codenamed B58M30 01) produces a similar amount of power and torque as the 2JZ-GTE: 335 hp (340 PS) and 365 lb-ft (494 Nm) compared to 320 hp at and 315 lb-ft (427 Nm)

So does that mean the 2020 Toyota Supra's engine has a similar shot at fame as the 2JZ-GTE? It's obviously too early to tell, but Engineering Explained has put together a very detailed video which points out that the BMW engine has a closed-deck block that allows it to take high amounts of boost without any concerns

It's a similar design adopted by some high-powered custom builds from Subaru.Also watch: 2020 Toyota GR Supra's BMW-Sourced Interior Is Very Premium While that's a good sign for those who want to squeeze more power from the engine, the fact that it has an alloy block as opposed to the 2JZ's indestructible iron block probably means the B58 won't be able to take that much extra horsepower

Something that will also raise some eyebrows in the aftermarket world is the fact that the B58 has spray-on cylinder liners which don't allow re-machining and sleeving

There are many more interesting things you can learn about the 2020 Toyota Supra's 3.0-liter engine, such as the way twin-scroll turbocharging works.

The video dissects the new Supra's six-cylinder unit in great detail and makes for a very interesting, and unusual, viewing

2020 BMW 7-Series Enters The Realm Of Neverland As M7, Touring, Coupe And Cabrio - Duration: 1:43.

If you swing big for BMW's restyled 7-Series, the best you can do right now is an M760Li xDrive version, which is powered by a 6.6-liter V12 engine, producing 585 PS (577 HP) and 850 Nm (626 lb-ft) of torque

It's fast, big and luxurious and it's pretty much all the BMW you'll ever need, right? Well, it'll have to, as even if the Bavarian automaker has filed a trademark application regarding the M7 nameplate, we don't see it happening for this generation

Out of all these renderings put together by designer Aksyonov Nikita, we have the M7 as the most thrilling, the Individual spec (rendered on white) as a more exclusive offering, and then we have three more body styles that are completely out of the realms of possibility, at least for this generation of the 7er

Still, the one that best tickles our imagination is the convertible model, which would be (in theory), a proposition slotting between an open-top Rolls Royce and a Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet

Of course, like the S-Class, any two-door version of the 7-Series would require new body panels front and rear, so as to look a little more composed

As for the Coupe and Wagon drawings, the former isn't all that inspiring to look at, while the latter really doesn't make any sense considering how many SUVs you can buy from BMW
