Hey, what's up?

Today we are in BMW and I'm going to share with you some tips so you better know which

navigation system you have in your BMW.

So the thing is that BMW is making all the navigation systems with very similar user

interface.

And each generation of the navigation system is available in two version.

With the small (narrow) screen and with the wide screen.

And to complicate this even more each of this navigation system versions is using different

set of maps.

So if you are looking for maps update for your BMW you'll have a really hard time to

find the correct ones if you don't want to go to your dealership so they do it for you.

But luckily you can check the codename that you navigation database is using.

To do that go to the navigation, the press OPTION, scroll all the way down to the end

of the list.

You have the Navigation Version over here.

And you will see that you have currently installed maps for a certain region like the East and

Central Europe over here, you have the database date,

and you have the name like here we have the MOTION.

Each iDrive generation with its version is using a different codename so the MOTION is

only for the CIC Business navigation.

If you have PREMIUM, you have the CIC professional with the wide screen.

If you have MOVE, you have NBT Business with small screen.

If you have NEXT, you have NBT Professional with the wide screen.

If you have ROUTE, you have EVO Business with the small screen.

And if you have EVO, you have the EVO Professional with the wide screen.

Ofcourse there are new versions of the iDrive system like the MGU which was presented few

months ago.

And we have the old CCC navigation with is using the DVD disk for database storage.

In the description below this video I'll share the full list of the codenames that you can

follow to check which navigation you have in your car.

hey guys , so in recent days in ces 2019 , bmw showcased a lot of things and i next series was one of the best thing , its basically going to be an autonomous one

so here bmw basically included a lot of new features in the car , so i will be discussing all those new things here in this video so just keep watching it, so guys as you all know 2019 is here

as its been years we are hearing about different types of car be it smart , self driving , autonomous , fully autonomous , btw there is a company from Russia which already bought a proper self driving car ( there will be a video soon on that )

as we all know bmw i next series is whole a new experience thing , as bmw has made a great combo of autonomous things and luxurious as well as comfort which is why BMW is BMW

so , basically the model that they showed in ces 2019 , , for sure they have provided a steering wheel and a lot of comfortable things and with all this there were a lot of things announced and one of the biggest thing in them its 90% an autonomous vehicle

here its not completely like this one doesn't want any human interference , well humans are needed and obviously there are people interested and passionate about driving , they have given a lot of mode through the car can run fine on its own even be it traffic or highway

well as we all know that human interaction is necessary even from the point of view of govt organizations and others also , and so bmw has done a fine job making it both , as its still years when autonomous cars will be allowed on roads on their own ,

as there are still so many unexpected things and possibilities , so apart from this bmw has also included there assistant , yes their own assistant , which can control this car by voice commands

and also people can , lock and unlock the car , opening and closing windows and bonnets via voice commands , they have also included a lot of gestures and best thing its compatible on both android and on ios

and bmw has also taken care of people coming from work and gym tired and frustrated not willing to drive in traffic so they have given a mode with the help of which car can drive itself on its own following gps

and people can relax and read things and can even use their phone and all the notifications regarding car will be given on their phone so that they can take control when needed , most of the people are thinking that if its can drive on its own what's is the reason for giving steering wheel

1st will be most of the countries's wont allow it without that where an human can't take control as its not considered as safe , 2nd- there are people who enjoy driving and they love it , so i guess bmw has taken care of everything

and for now there is no name for the assistant they have provided in this but there have been leaks that it responds by saying "hey bmw " , bmw said that they will release it by 2020 or 2021

Who Needs A BMW M8 When You Have G-Power's M850i - Duration: 2:49.

G-Power has just unveiled its modified BMW M850i and while it's no M8, it does have the specs fitting of a car with the M badge

Normally, the BMW M850i pumps out 523 hp and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque from its 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine

For most people, that's more than enough grunt

For G-Power, it's comes short.The famous German tuning company has outfitted the BMW with new performance engine software and fitted a set of stainless steel downpipes with 200-cell sport catalytic converters

The car now pumps out 661 hp and 656 lb-ft (890 Nm) of torque and can, therefore, accelerate to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a rapid 3.1seconds and reach an approximate top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h)

In all likelihood, the horsepower, torque, and acceleration numbers of G-Power's M850i will put the car one step ahead of both the upcoming BMW M8 and M8 Competition

Unlike the upcoming M8 and M8 Competition, however, the M850i doesn't enjoy any mechanical upgrades other than those previously mentioned

That means its chassis, suspension, and braking components are all identical to standard M850i models

We'll have to wait and see what chassis changes will be applied to the impending M models

G-Power has priced the new engine software at $2831 while the new downpipes and catalytic converters cost $4742

Customers wanting to unlock the vehicle's full top speed potential need to hand over an additional $500 to have the limiter removed

The only visual alteration offered by G-Power for the M850i are a set of unique 21-inch wheels

Measuring 9 inches wide at the front and 10.5inches at the rear, they are priced at $8,577

2020 BMW M8 Gran Coupe Ready To Challenge AMG's GT 63 S - Duration: 2:44.

Less than a year after its debut in concept form at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the BMW M8 Gran Coupe has been spotted in the wild

The good news is that the production model sticks as close as possible to the stunning study from a design standpoint

Naturally, unlike the study it does have door handles and normal-sized side mirrors but not much seems to have been lost in the transition from design study to production car

The bumpers adopt a similar appearance to those of the Concept M8 Gran Coupe although they do seem to have been toned down for production; the vertical vents in the rear bumper are gone, as are the vertical air intakes in the front bumper

Apparently, the fender vents had to go too and that's a shame.Other than that, chances are the production M8 Gran Coupe will indeed be a performance beast

The beefy brakes and typical quad exhaust pipes hint at some serious power, as do the big wheels, which don't look that big on the massive body by the way

While there are no photos of the interior yet, you already know what it will look like if you have taken a peek inside the new BMW 8 Series

Sure, the cabin will be spiced up with M Division touches, but the overall layout will remain unchanged

The four-door M8 will use the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine as the M8 Coupe and Convertible and the standard M xDrive AWD system with full RWD mode

BMW said the unit will have more than 591 hp (600 PS) on tap, so something around 625 PS (617 hp) looks likely

That's what the same engine makes in the M5 Competition and it fits with M Division boss' suggestions that the M8 will be more powerful than the M5

We do know the regular M8 Coupe will come in a Competition version as well, which should offer even more power

We see no reason for the M8 Gran Coupe not to get such a version, too.Expect the BMW M8 Gran Coupe to debut at the end of this year or in early 2020, following the M8 Coupe and Convertible that should come this spring or summer at the latest

Genesis Won't Build A Fast G70 To Rival The BMW M3 - Duration: 2:10.

Genesis says that it has no plans to launch a high-performance G70 to directly rival the BMW M3 and Mercedes-AMG C63

During a recent interview with Car and Driver, Genesis president Manfred Fitzgerald hosed down speculation that the G70 could receive a more potent version similar in philosophy to Hyundai's N models

For now, Genesis is focused on differentiating itself from Hyundai and increasing sales across its family of models

"We're trying to set our base.We have to get the basics," Fitzgerald said.Immediate goals from Genesis include expanding its range with a selection of new SUVs, such as the GV80 tipped to arrive in 2020 and a smaller SUV for 2021

Before these new models hit the market, Genesis is planning an aggressive expansion of its dealership network across the United States, eventually including between 300 and 350 locations

Most of these showrooms will be standalone facilities that are owned by Hyundai franchises

"The brand is evolving day by day.We're looking for partners who believe in this brand

This should not be a sprint to the finish line." While those hoping for a BMW M3-rival from Genesis may be disappointed by Fitzgerald's latest statements, they should rest easy knowing that if the company ever changes it mind, Fitzgerald is the perfect man to make such a sports sedan a reality

Prior to heading up Genesis, Fitzgerald was the design director for Lamborghini.Curiously, Fitzgerald's statements are contrary to those from Hyundai Motor America vice president of product planning Mike O'Brien, who indicated a few days ago that a high-performance G70 could become a reality
