and today we're going to look at the updated

2019 Mazda CX-9

The 2019 Mazda CX-9 is powered by a 2.5L Turbo engine

Now the interesting thing about this engine

is you can run it on regular fuel and have 227 horsepower

at 5000rpm

or if you want to put in the premium fuel

you'll get 250 horsepower at the same rpm

The big story here though is the torque.

310 foot pounds at 2000rpm

Now on the 2019 CX-9, standard in the GSL trim

is the 20 inch alloy

If you go up to the GT and the Signature as well

also comes with the 20 inch rim

and in the GS model you still have a standard 18inch alloy wheel.

One of the new features that we have on the

2019 Mazda CX-9

is the addition of a luxury touch called

Power folding mirrors

When you walk up to the car

you hit the button

you're going to open the mirrors up

but when you walk away from the car

that's when the magic happens!

Hit the button

you'll see the mirrors fold away

you don't have to worry about anyone bumping them

or dinging them

or getting any damage on the vehicle

It's easy

You walk up to the car again when you get back to the vehicle

and they're back in their regular position.

The 2019 Mazda CX-9 has the available power hatch.

Push the button

and it opens with ease.

To close it, simply do the same thing

push the button

With 7 passenger capability

you can choose between passengers or cargo space.

With this configuration setup

you can have 7 passengers in here

If you choose you need more cargo space

you can simply fold the seats down

by grabbing the handle here

releasing it, pushing the seat down

and then to have passengers in here again

simply pull it up

put the headrest back in place

and you're good to go!

Getting into the 7 passenger CX-9 is a breeze!

Simply grab the handle

slide the seat forward

and hop on in!

One thing you'll notice when you hop in to the

2019 CX-9

is that they've slightly redesigned this whole area right here

so your controls are easier to use

but my favourite thing is that they've added

ventilated and cooled seats

Mazda continually makes changes to enhance your driving experience.

One such change is to the HMI controller

They've changed the angle of it and the height & positioning

so it is much easier to use.

One of the new features that we've added for 2019

into the CX-9

is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

but that's not where we stopped

we also added a 360 degree camera

Simply push the button

and it pops up

Now as you can see, you've got a 360 degree angle

around the entire vehicle

You've got a side view

You've got the front view as well if you want to put that on there

It just makes parking in tight spots much easier

Mazda is not just about the driver

it is also about the passenger

We think about the comfort that you're going to feel

when you're seated in our luxurious leather trimmed seats

We've also decided to raise the seats slightly

so you have that stadium centered feel

so when you're driving you have a commanding view of the open road
