Hello to all who follows this project:) Subtitles not fully READY! It will come in a WEEK.
I would like to say about few small things I did in past days
unfortunately it's not super big progress
Next episode will be about cylinder heads, and it will come in next weeks
but I wanted to show you what I did till now
so you will see those small steps I did
I do not have to much time in last days to work in the project
you definitely know how it is with the free time
I noticed there is a group of channel followers
and intensively want to say I'm spending to much time on some activities, and I'm doing things with too much details
and I should work faster
nobody plays as me with the engine
I will say, it's true that I'm doing things with too much details
but be aware about two things
first...
I'm real amateur
and I'm doing engine "renovation" first time
I'm learning a lot of things about engine construction & procedures
and I'm following your comments very much
to
learn some technical details from you
what to check, or where to check
so
the way, how I'm showing things
is very slow and detailed
because I want to present things very precisely, so you can comment them
that's why I'm playing with it so long...
however...
what I did since last episode...
I WILL FINISH THE SUBTITLES IN COMING WEEK!

VW/Audi MQB 02E DSG Transmission Service Kit - Really Quick Product Review - Duration: 1:49.
looks kind of like a toilet paper roll but I assure you it's not
hey YouTube it's Garrett here with FCP gyro and we're gonna do another really
quick proc review alright so what we have here is the o2 II DSG transmission
service kit co2 II is gonna be the most common DSG transmission you're gonna
find on your front wheel drive Volkswagens your 4 motion Volkswagens as
well as your 4 motion Howdy's basically the biggest issue on
the o2 II transmission it's actually super reliable the the biggest problem
they have is fluid contamination Volkswagen recommends the service
interval about 40,000 miles the issue that commonly happens is most these
vehicles are coming off of a three-year lease they've racked down 30,000 miles
they get resold nobody follows the factory recommended service interval
next thing you know contamination of fluid essentially wear wear particles
from the transmission clog up a lot of the Hall effect sensors that are inside
the transmission that determines slip and all sorts of other crazy
pseudoscience what's happening in there and eventually the transmission just
doesn't work anymore so the best thing you can do is really just follow the
service intervals for the DSG transmission so what we have here is the
crush washer for the drain / fill plug yes you drain and you fill through the
same hole bottom the transmission we also have our DSG filter this is an OE
filter it looks kind of like a toilet paper roll but I assure you it's not
when you have our local moly 80-100 DSG Hero oil this is gonna work with the O 2
new transmission perfectly not gonna have any problems putting this in there
you can find a link to this kit on our website in the description below if you
have any other comments or questions you can leave in the comment box below
rather than that we'll see you for the next one and that's the whole
shebang-a-bang that's what you came here to watch right
