Is this a Tiguan Allspace? Is this a Skoda Kodiaq? No, this is the new Seat Tarraco.
It's in the same segment as those cars though. Even better, it's a tad longer than the Kodiaq,
and we all know that the Kodiaq is a pretty big car. A remarkable choice, because Seat is Skoda's sporty brother.
Still, the Tarraco is bigger than the Kodiaq.
The difference with those other two is the biggest at the front and back.
Take a look, because this is an element the future Leon is going to get as well. This one piece rear light.
Also, it has a rear bumper filled with 'tough' details. This mesh here, or these exhaust-like things over here.
It looks nice and all, but if you look too closely, you'll see it's all fake.
Even more important is the front, because this is Seat's new family face.
The grille is wider than we're used to, and it has those V-shapes in the grille again,
which should give it a tough, SUV-like appearance. The headlights are a little higher up than on an Ateca,
just to get more of a V-shape. That's supposed to make it look more agressive.
You be the judge.
This dashboard is different than in the Kodiaq, because the Kodiaq has vertical vents and this has horizontal vents.
When we look at it that way, there are lots of differences, but it doesn't really change the atmosphere.
It's mostly very recognizable as a Volkswagen Group-dashboard, and who has ever driven a Volkswagen, Seat or Skoda,
will recognize the buttons. What is actually different however,
is that this screen seems to be fitted as a separate element. That way it's within reach and it has good hotkeys.
Luckily, it's got a physical volume button, so there's nothing to complain about.
What's rather special in this car is the fabric. It feels a little like a pair of jeans,
but it's not made of jeans. At the very least, it makes for something special.
On the third row I'm very happy that the second row is movable, because if the passengers want to move,
you can be back here for short distances. An Alhambra is more spacious,
but the Alhambra's days are numbered.
