Auto news on Youtube Oct 1 2018

hey guys I am Kaushik Das from Kaushikdas.com and in today's video I am gonna to

be doing a quick review of the product called smart affiliate stores by Dan Ashendorf

smart affiliate stores is an all-in-one system that allows you to

make money from day one it finds the hottest

selling ecommerce products across nine social media platforms that Amazon, eBay,

Aliexpress, Walmart, CJ, Esty, Linkshare Envato and Clickbank and

this software is synchronized with both physical and digital marketplaces this

will double your Commission's it then leaves the product on an unlimited

number of stores with a choice of five is turning templates then comes in the

traffic part the product listing will be shared across five platforms and they

are tumblr Twitter Pinterest readied and medium during this smart affiliate stores

review video I will show you the members area and show you what you're going to

get in Smart Affiliate Stores and how it works and I have also put together

custom bonuses for those of you they would like to buy smart affiliate stores

through my link which is down below in the description of this video just take

a look at what you are going to get in smart affiliate stores and how it works

hey everyone this is in dungeon here and on behalf of my business partners dan

and Daniel I'd like to give you a quick overview of the app and what it does as

you know this is an app that will help you create app feel it's tools from from

nine different ecommerce platforms and you know it's a very powerful store once

you're logged in you will see the dashboard this is the examples to that I

have created for myself demonstrate this process and for my testing purposes once

you get in there you will see all these options you'll see the dashboard you'll

manage tools you'll see marketplace settings a help tab and manage profile

now just to get started help is where you can get like no sir like support

support information you can get no training videos and training content

manage profile is where you can manage your profile you can change your email

address you can change your profile details and stuff like that you can also

change your password so once you see this is the main dashboard this is not

your true dashboard mind you this is the entire entire know app that you it is

basically an accumulation of the entire store that you have okay entire number

of stores that you have okay now manage stores is where you know you'll be

managing the videos tools that you've created and you have to click on this

create store button to create the store but I will come to that later let me

quickly show you the the option that we have on this left navigation bar and

then we head over to the creator auction in the marketplace settings you'll see

that there are I'm sorry so in the marketplace settings you'll see that

there are you know there's an ellipse besides there's an Amazon IDE PID

Walmart IDC G it's C link share in water and click back so all of these are API

keys that you can enter your respective API keys and save them so the moment you

enter this API key is what happens is you know the app connects to that

particular platform in the backend and thus you can search for products and

import products using using your affiliate ID and have them updated in

the store right so that's what we are doing here doing here now I spoke about

these two already so let's move on to manage stores okay now this is a place

where all your new stores that you create will be showcased okay so let me

start with creating a store once you click on creating a store you will have

this option so let me say give a demo title let's say you know

demo store alright and then what I'll do is I'll just create a sub domain for

this and if that sub domain is available it will be given to me if it's not ready

to open era so we you'll be asked to create another sub domain okay if you

want if you have the the domain mapping feature if you've caught the pro version

of the front and one of the tools then you'll have will be having this domain

mapping feature alright so once you see this you can actually connect this to

your own domain and use that okay now there are five different templates that

you can use in your to create your stores these are very high quality and

test that we have and these would be super useful if you want to create a

store that is different from what we have in place okay now what what are the

traditional app like you know stores store designs available in most of the

apps okay so these are very unique so what did you is click on one that you

like and then save it and then your store will be created okay so once the

story is created it will be shown as demo store dot smart a pilasters calm

right now that the store is created we have a blank store here so what you have

to do is you have to let me show you these features okay so once you click on

view you'll be able to see the store that has been created for you if you

want to click clear late you'll be able to leave the store if you don't edit it

you can edit some of the features that we just entered with this store and in

order to manage the store or to import products into the store and do all sorts

of good things you'll have to create on manage store once you create or manage

store if you move on to like you know the Stu dashboard which we'll be editing

now alright so here we are on the marriage to section and like you know as

you can see we have a similar dashboard it just that we have not imported any of

the products as of now and now what we'll do is we'll good and click on

input product now this import product option is where we will select the Phil

Amazon platform that we will work with and we'll be able to kind of you know

take it forward from there okay so if you see here we've got all of these

updates available and you know if you see let's say let's say we go for Amazon

and we click on Electronics and let's say we type in

camera okay so it'll search for products on Amazon and you can you can repeat

this process with any of these platforms kay you can repeat the process with any

of those platforms so you import the product and all you have to do is import

it and it will start showing up at the store okay import it is short to the

store right so let's say we want to go for this one or this one okay let's say

you want to see some more right so all you have to do is click more and you'll

you'll see all these options now let's say you want to click on multiple

products and import them all at once okay so all you do is input input

selected and it'll start posting them as you can see the selected options have

been posted okay so that's how it works okay so now now that you've seen the

products have been imported to the store in the next phase we'll go to marriage

products and we'll see how to go about managing the product so in the manage

products section you'll have two different options one is the category

which where you can manually attach a category to a certain product and the

other one it's all products okay so in all products you'll be able to see all

the products that we have actually imported so we imported a few of them

right now and those have been published here on the manage products section okay

now here's basically a tube a still feature which allows you to give a

special priority to some of the products and you know make them entities diesel

so let's say it let's say there is a particular product that you want to put

emphasis on let's say you are importing something from your Clickbank account

and you would like to make it as a deal for the day so this is where that

feature comes in okay now this publish an unpublished feature basically takes

off the product from the from the store like the moment to unpublish it it goes

off of this store and you know you'll not be able to see it the featured

option on the other hand is basically you know providing the products making

the products a part of the featured product list and you can see there is a

special dedicated page in this template for the future products okay so the

moment you switch it on it becomes official products and the moment you

switch it off it is taken off of that list okay so each of these products now

can basically this is an Amazon link what

does that gives you this takes you straight to the Amazon page where from

where this has been picked so if it is from ebay you will get the EP link and

likewise okay you won't do inter product you can delete it here you can edit a

product if you want say for example you want to edit a product right you can go

ahead and change the title you know sometimes the title that is chosen or

that is that is borrowed from the platform may not may not be consistent

or may not be to your liking that's because you know but there are nine

different platforms and not all of them are as mature as far as the EPA is

concerned as Amazon eBay or some of the other one other bigger ones okay so what

you have to do is you basically have to get this I mean you have the option of

changing this and kind of you know working with that okay now here's the

thing like you've got the edit option now when it comes to view this will take

you straight to the store where you can actually see the product alright this is

what we have in the store this is how beautifully the store is laid out okay

so that's that's all about the managing product section and as you can see there

is a certain category here if say you want to change the category of the store

do you can always do that what I have to do is go ahead and create the category

if it's not already existing in here if it's not existing you create that

category and then what you do is go back to this and you know irrigate and then

insert the new category over there okay so that's how you can manage the

products in this entire website okay now let's go back to the settings on this

particular tab and see what's in there so in the general settings you'd be

getting a lot of options basically to customize your website okay so you can

add your social links you can add Google Analytics Facebook pixel and other

integrations by other integrations we're referring to autoresponder settings and

we've got like you know the social media settings where in thus the product will

directly be configured so the moment you switch this on what and enter your keys

what will happen is every time you input a product it will be published to each

one of these five social media platforms as a result of that what happens is you

start creating social signals for the product that you've written since that

is a product name sorry a long long tail keyword you know product name keyword

that you're targeting for on each page and you have the option of changing the

text and description and things like that there is a good opportunity that

this social signals will actually push it higher up

the search engines for specific search terms related to that product okay so

that's one wonderful advantage over here when it comes to the appearance this is

like you know as the name suggests all you have to do is this this basically

defines this particular section defines the look and feel of your store you can

upload the logo slider settings you've got you know favicon and everything

literally everything that in there is been there that can be changed can be

changed from this particular section and it's pretty straightforward alright you

just uploaded the image and you really have the options that we're looking for

I have had the you know a design you're looking for so when it comes to pages

let me quickly show you so this is the home page this is where you go ahead and

kind of you know alter the home page design if you want let's say you start

with style one but you'd like to go to style too and you want to change that so

you'll go ahead and do that here update homepage and do that here mind you when

you do that there is a good chance that you will have to kind of you know update

the images because the banner is on style to style three style four and five

are different you know the layout is different so I would suggest if you're

doing something with related to a store just be sure about the style that you

want to opt I mean you know create some quick four five inputs on for pet

products and then kind of you know check it out if it's working out fine for you

the menu builder is where you will you'd be creating menu for the header like you

know this is the top menu on the header you can actually add a menu and then you

know add sub menus these are all submit is being added up okay so this is if you

have to add a new menu this is why this is what you do all right

so similar to similar to your header menu you've got a footer menu section

which operates pretty much in the same style then there are blogs you can

create blog categories here's like you know if there is a number of categories

that you want to create for your blog those can be treated here and saved once

you've created those categories you can create blogs here and once you create

the blog's you can locate different categories to them for example when you

click on this it'll show you a nice little text box like this way you can

you know enter your HTML tags I mean you know you can you can basically it format

it in whichever way you want right you can write the text and format it in

whichever way you want so you've got block title you've got a blog image and

you've got a category to choose from right so this is how

the blog works now these are all some mandatory pages for example the contact

us page is there so this is a beautiful read page you know you have contact form

and then you've got you've got some details about your business your phone

number email address now in some of these shows you may not want to do that

you may not want to give it all you have to do is leave this vacant and you know

it could be taken care of okay but it does build Authority and credibility

when you provide a certain business address okay

so privacy policy terms and conditions now this privacy policy is basically

something that I have already given and this is demo text that is there to help

you out I would strongly suggest that you you know modify this update this

based on the requirements for your own store and it should be fine

similar to that for the terms and conditions as well then we've got the

footer which basically you know takes care of the copyright message so if you

want to have a copyright person YouTube business a minute you can do that and if

you want to add a page you can always do that by clicking here

right so this will allow for creating text-based pages for your website that

you know you you want to have in place okay so that's all about it all about

spot affiliate stores thank you so much don't forget to check out my smart

affiliate stores bonus package which is down below in the description of this

How to Determine Right-of-Way...and When to Go :: Smart Sunday #57 - Duration: 56:27.

Hi there smart drivers. Rick with Smart Drive Test talking to you tonight about

rules of the road and right-of-way. I had a question from one of the smart drivers

last week and that was impetus for starting this discussion about

right-of-way rules because unfortunately the smart driver was not successful on

his road test so that was the poll that I put up on the community tab and talked

about that and so we're gonna go over some of the rules of the road and talk a

little bit about that and how rules of the road no longer you know no more

stamp out traffic crashes than criminal law stamps of crime so they are

guidelines that hopefully make traffic more predictable so there's quite a

number of people here already Stephan Stephan is here lucky is here

Edgar is here Kayla's here and tonight is here Tim is here from basic Joomla

tutorials Tim does websites for with Joomla and whatnot Janet's here and

Corey is here bricks for wheels both those both Tim and Corey are moderators

and for videos that I get for you and suggests for you they'll have a look at

choreo get those up free and does really well so we're gonna get over to the

PowerPoint presentation further quickly here and get into that because I've had

some feedback from people who are watching on the replay that they want to

see the presentation and you know don't want to stick around for the question

and answer period but so we'll get to that and as well be sure to head over to

the smart drive test website and sign up for the newsletter over there and

that'll help you out and as well if you're new to smart drive test be sure

to subscribe give it a thumbs up and if you like what you see here leave a

comment and share the video is all that gets all the information out for smart

drivers who are working towards a license and working to be safe drivers

or started careers of see it started career as a truck or bus driver so

that's what we do here at smart drive test matt is here trevor is here sylvan

is here and just as well in the comments just let me know where you're tuning in

from in the world there and we can help you out and i had a request from just

looking for it here the Kayla wanted the video on the

maneuverability test in Ohio and yes Kayla that's been on my list for some

time and it is far overdue I need to get that video done for you all right

excellent brothers mob you passed your license please head over to the 100k

campaign Cory will put that up for you and we'll get that working for you yes

and fixing last week we had some problems with the questions in the

comments here and it wasn't working out so I think that's been fixed I think

YouTube has been on that because no longer is a dumping all my my comments

into the review section so that's working so Millie's here from the Bronx

and Patrick has a question so just hang on your question there Patrick and maybe

I'll answered in the presentation and he is here from Buffalo New York excellent

from that's great Darvish is here Victor's here left-hand

turn and now rivers to get back on the wheel Victor one of the things I'm gonna

say and firstly I'm sorry to hear that you were involved in a crash on a

left-hand turn Victor I want you to get back right on start driving again

because it the longer you leave it the more difficult it's gonna be so get back

to driving as quickly as you can if you're not comfortable start driving in

residential areas and places where there isn't a lot of traffic and then kind of

work your way out and I say this to anybody who's been involved in a crash

whether it's in a car on a motorcycle on a bicycle or whatnot you need to get

back and start doing it again because the longer you leave it the more

difficult it's going to be so make sure that you get back to driving as soon as

possible Brandon thank you so much you are most welcome for glad we can help

you out the letter A by itself so I think that's what was happening that was

one of the things thanks for that Tim Corey's put the video up for four-way

stops there and just bear with me here I'm going to get over to the PowerPoint

presentation I can't answer questions during the PowerPoint presentation and

but I will come back and answer your questions and if I do miss your question

in the question and answer period makes that you asked the question again it's

just because there's a lot of people on the livestream and the questions go back

pretty quickly so if I miss it just ask me again and I'll be more than happy to

get to that too and if I don't get to it tonight in the live stream send me an

email rip that smart drive test calm and be

more than happy to help you out or leave a comment in one of the videos I try and

get to close every day or two days at the least

alright so Darby she's here thank you so much for all that and Brandon excellent

okay and here we go just bear with me for one sec here all right okay so

tonight we're talking about rules of the road and right-of-way and we're talking

about rules of the road because the question in the poll that I asked on the

community tab was if you're at a two-way stop sign so you're at one stop sign the

traffic on the other side is at a stop sign and it's a major road there are two

vehicles on the other side turning right and you're turning left do you have to

wait for those two vehicles to go before you proceed and technically according to

the rules of the road yes you do if there is sufficient gap between the

first vehicle in the second vehicle say for example the driver the second

vehicle isn't paying attention you might be able to sneak in between the two

vehicles but for the purposes of a road test you would let those two

right-turning vehicles turn before you proceeded because at a two-way stop and

I'll talk about this little more detail straight through vehicles have the

right-of-way returning vehicles and right-hand turning vehicles have the

right-of-way over left turning vehicles so we're going to talk about that a

little bit more so that's what we're talking about tonight there we go yeah

and of course it went all the way to the bottom so Paige down there we go so I'm

Rick August I do have a PhD in legal history as it relates to traffic and

specifically policing for those who you don't know legal history is the study of

police in courts and prisons and my expertise is in policing as it relates

to traffic throughout the 1990s I was a truck driver I drove

mostly in North America through Ontario Western Canada and delivered Freight

into the United States up and down the eastern seaboard when I moved to

Australia in 2002 I drove for Greyhound and a regional bus line there called V

line which was a bus that connected the rail lines so drove basically out of

Melbourne I took Ballarat and back every night so I've been a licensed commercial

driving instructor since 1997 and as I mentioned I have a doctorate in legal

history so I'm fairly qualified talking about all matters relating to getting a

license regardless of class motorcycles trucks buses cars and specifically air

brakes and I'm working on an air brake book right now which I hope will be up

next month it's been a long process in getting this done and on Saturday

congratulations to all the smart drivers who have subscribed to the channel we

passed the 75 thousand mark and according to social blade we're on

target to be to hit the hundred thousand mark as of the end of January and I'm

hoping that we can do that before the new year and I'm hoping that I can ramp

this up a little bit and get that just push ourselves over the hundred thousand

mark now it would be the goal for this year that'd be really great so

congratulations thank you because without you the smart drivers this this

really lofty goal would not be possible alright so tonight we're talking about

rules of the road if you haven't seen the video already be sure to head over

to the smart drive test website and sign up for the newsletter because they did

sign to send out a newsletter announcing tonight's live stream and giving this

video so you can have a look at this and I go through all the rules of the road

for different roads and those types of things and some fairly you know

specialized roads and that sort of thing and I talk about construction and what

not so it's a good overall video and I go out and stand at the intersections

and talk about each intersection that I'm going that you're gonna encounter on

a road test when you're driving alright and if you've been successful in passing

a road test in the last week make sure that you head over to the smart drive

test website and sign up for the 100 inque campaign in the next year we're

going to help a hundred thousand drivers earn their license regardless of class

of licence so motorcycle cars trucks buses and air brakes so if you've done

that head over there sign up for that and as well everybody who signs up for

the hundred thousand Kay campaign is going to go in a draw that will be the

draw for a hundred dollar gas cart every month so you're gonna be a lot of

legible you're gonna be eligible for that that's who's trying to say eligible

for the hunt for the hundred dollar gas card alright so Road rules are often

broken as you know anybody who's driven knows that people kind of use Rose Road

rules as a loose guideline and most people who drive and break road rules

see them as kind of you know it's a victimless crime for example when they

speed they're not hurting anybody else so they see it as a victimless crime if

they don't come to a complete stop at a stop sign it's not hurting anybody else

so most people would be of the opinion that when they drive if nobody else gets

hurt it's a victimless crime so but as I like to say to people because people

have said to me that you know don't always obey the road rules and those

types of things and most people don't after they get their license a short

period after they get their license we know that after three months most people

subscribe to social driving they follow the traffic flow

they don't come to complete stops at stop signs and you know they follow too

close they don't keep a good distance and whatnot so all of those all of those

traits of social driving apply a short time after getting a license and some

people say to me well you need to follow the road rules well Road rules no more

prevent traffic crashes than criminal law prevents crime so Road rules for

most people who drive serve as a loose guideline of how they're supposed to

behave and act on the roadway all right so just going quickly through the road

rules that do apply to those of you who are going to get a license to weigh

stops so the basic fundamental rules for two-way stops are that traffic on the

minor road is yielding and giving way to the traffic on the major road this is

what the purpose of most two-way stops you'll also see two-way stops at T

intersections so straight through traffic has

right-of-way overturning traffic and right-turning vehicles have the

right-of-way over left turning vehicles as you can see here in the top picture

there that car B will have the right-of-way over car a Akari will have

to wait because it's turning right and this is the other side of the road

obviously they're driving on the left side of the road but for the right

turning vehicle there which would be the left turning vehicle for those of us who

drive on the right here in North America car B has the right-of-way of a car a

now the bottom one both vehicles are turning left so both vehicles can turn

left at the same time and this is common at four-way stops where essentially it

gets to the point where yes the first vehicle to arrive and the vehicle on the

right but the alternating lanes of traffic will take turns and both lane

both left turning vehicles can turn left at the same time now again I'll just say

this as the as I repeat again and again even though you have the right of way

you can be right or you can be dead right if somebody else insists that

they're going to go you're gonna have to give up the right-of-way so yield and

give way signs you're going to treat yield signs the same as you're going to

treat two-way stops it's the same rule so even though you're not required to

come to a complete stop straight through traffic it has the

right-of-way overturning traffic and right-hand turning vehicles have the

right-of-way over left turning wheels make sure that you look twice before and

go once and this picture here this instance here at the bottom where car a

is turning right and car B is turning left and again this is on the left side

of the road would be car a would be turning laughing car a would be turning

right for those of us in North America the yield sign and the stop sign the

give way sign has the right-of-way over the stop sign they can go first but it's

very unlikely even in a road test situation that one of both of those cars

are going to drive arrive at the intersection at exactly the same time

but if they're both sitting there waiting for the cross traffic to go then

it's going to be the right hand turning vehicle that has the right-of-way

because car a does have to give way to the other vehicles and it's turning left

all right so four-way stops as I said first vehicle to arrive the vehicle on

the right has the right-of-way any road users that's in the intersection has the

right-of-way so here in this image the pedestrian in the intersection has the

right-of-way and again watch the video on four-way stops which Corey's already

put up and you will see that the all turning lanes of traffic will take turns

so if one lane of traffic is going straight through the two vehicles across

from each other will both go straight through at the same time or alternately

if they're both turning left they'll turn left at the same time and then the

other lane of traffic will go so it alternates back and forth alright

freeways there another place that you have to give the right-of-way and in a

number of states in the US they will have yield signs at the top of the

on-ramp that which indicates that the onus of responsibility is on the merging

driver and it really is on the merging driver and if you do this correctly when

you're coming out on the on-ramp which leads into the acceleration lane and

once you're on the acceleration Lane you'll see the continuity lines on the

Left continuity lines are road markings that are half as long and twice as wide

and continuity lines are indicate that the lane that you were in if you have

those on the left side of your vehicle is either going to end or it's going to

exit so that indicates that you're on the acceleration lane so as you're

coming out on the on-ramp you're heading to the acceleration you're looking for

your gap you're matching your speed to meet that gap and you're going to adjust

your speed accordingly so here in this image you can see the red vehicle at the

back the red vehicle is probably going to merge in behind the green vehicle so

you as the driver when adjusting your speed to merge in between behind that

vehicle because I can tell you now that if you have two or three vehicles in

front of you such as this image here they're not going to get up to speed

very quickly oftentimes they're just kind of kind of meander out onto the

freeway which is not what I recommend get the vehicle up to speed as quickly

as possible now the reason I put this up here in terms of the top three reasons

for crashes and I've talked about this before speeding failing to yield and

following too close and you can see that failing to yield or failing to give way

is number two in terms of crashes so this comes back to the thing about you

can be right or you can be and right you need to give up the right

of way sometimes and even though you have the right of way don't insist that

you have the right of way so you know see that as the number two reason for

road crashes and then of course following too close which I talked about

the fundamentals of defensive driving are space management if you're not near

anything it's less likely you're gonna hit something so case studies so what

prompted all of this in terms of talking about Road rules and who has the

right-of-way was a question from a smart driver who was unsuccessful on a road

test and asked me who had the right-of-way because the smart driver

was making a left-hand turn at a two-way stop and across from where the driver

had stopped there were two vehicles making a right-hand turn well one turned

and then the I guess the driving examiner said something about the fact

that he had to go now I can't make specific judgments on that call by the

by the examiner because I wasn't there so I don't know the exact situation but

I do know and I can tell you definitively that if you're waiting to

turn left in there are two vehicles across from you at a two-way stop

waiting to turn right then you have to wait for those two right-hand turning

vehicles it may be mitigated by the amount of time between the two vehicles

turning right but for the most part 75% of smart drivers did in fact get this

question right that you need to wait for the to right turning vehicles

okay so yeah unfortunately this is incorrect and I apologize about that so

that's what you need to do and that's what the road rules are and again it

comes back to the right-of-way is never taken the right-of-way is always given

so in other words if one of these vehicles is in the intersection you're

gonna have to wait for that vehicle in the intersection doesn't matter who has

the right-of-way all right and there goes okay so predict traffic patterns so

essentially rules of the road as it says down here at the bottom in blue if

followed Road rules create predictable traffic patterns so if everybody more or

less follows the road rules it will set up predictable traffic patterns and if

you're looking ahead at controlled intersections uncontrolled intersections

that in turning lanes and those types of things and you're watching other

if most people are adhering to the road rules it's going to create predictable

traffic patterns and you are going to be able to predict and interpret what

individual road users are doing and again this comes back to what I've

talked about before with knowing the characteristics of the vehicles and the

roads this is going to help as well and as well spring summer fall and other

times of the year you're gonna have different vehicles on the roadway which

are going to set up unpredictable traffic patterns

so this snowmobiler here coming down over the bank onto a roadway has to give

way because essentially the rule of giving way from a private driveway a

roadway applies to the rider on the snowmobile but he or she may not know

that and may not give up the right-of-way so if you're coming up

there and you see that snowmobile coming down there I would strongly recommend

that you have your foot covering the brake and you're taking evasive action

so that you can potentially stop or avoid a crash with that snowmobiler

coming down over the bank okay so good luck on your road test and remember when

it comes to rules of the road and right-of-way pick the best answer not

necessarily the right answer so just go back over and then I'll start answering

questions here all right transition ok so we got that hi there we're back and

lots of questions I'm sure all right and as I said if I don't get to your

questions just to ask your question again and remind me and I'll be more

than happy to get to your question okay so Darby SH I'm struggling to drive

straight sometimes my wheels right or left I feel a micromanage my steering

can you suggest any strategies control too much movement yes

Darvish what you're doing is you're not looking far enough down the road so you

need to look farther down the road and look for landmarks and toriel put the

video up for you on sending your vehicle in the roadway and that'll help you to

stop micromanaging the steering wheel because you really shouldn't be

micromanaging the steering wheel in this day and age I mean unless there's

something wrong with your vehicle and the steering needs to be fixed or

whatnot for but for the most part you should be able to look farther down the

road and hold the vehicle in Center of the roadway all right Odie I

downloaded all of your Anki YouTube discussion it was the daily background

in my car like driving it just passed my license last August only by watching

your videos oh that's awesome Odie congratulations make sure you head

over to the smart drive test website and sign up for 100k campaign register for

that and yeah that lets us know they're mad like the Terminator picture there

yeah always came up on the road rage incident so yeah you wouldn't want that

happening thanks so much Odie god be nice if I got a plaque of appreciation

from these other authorities to show what I'm doing is working all right so

mr. Odie is from southern Texas that's great edinburg texas yeah right on the

boy there I'm so thankful with all of your efforts generosity as youssef

initely share your time in driving safety thank you so much for that Odie

that's really great River Thompson how does the right-of-way work when there is

a bike lane to your right and you are turning right okay so River these do

vary a little bit from jurisdiction to jurisdiction in terms of bicycle lanes

but here in British Columbia where I live and in many states and provinces

it's going to be a solid white line that is going to divide the bicycle lane from

the main road of traffic and when that happens you cannot deviate into the

bicycle lane if it is a dotted line as you're approaching the intersection then

yes you can move into the bicycle lane to turn right so if it's a solid white

line you cannot move into the bicycle lane if it's a dotted white line then

you can indeed move into the bicycle lane to turn right and there are many

states that they do have dotted white lines and you can move in there now here

in Vernon British Columbia we have at one of our busier intersections bicycle

lane that is a different color it's green it's a dotted white line and it

crosses it crosses over the entrance of the slip lane the turning lane so off

obviously as a vehicle who a driver who's going to be turning right into the

slip plane you're gonna have to cross over the bicycle lane so it's a

that you do a shoulder check and move safely across that bicycle lane okay all

right Trevor g1 going to expire December but I

haven't got my g2 or G yet I don't think there's enough time for me to get my

full G licence before then well I have to start all over or not no Trevor if

you have a g1 and you go and get your g2 I think that extends your your period of

time so if you've been in there you still get your G you can go and start

the process and it will just keep everything else going okay so make sure

that you do that just go and start the process and start working towards

getting you're doing your test and carrying on okay November 5th the RV's

you're gonna do great okay thanks so much Derby Sh appreciate this up welcome

to the smart driver community here and now that's great

my classmate is leading today I'm sorry here I'm sorry here that Jaden that's

that's terrible my condolences alright excellent so if you're watching on the

replay be sure to subscribe be sure to give a thumbs up and share the video

leave a comment all that helps out the new drivers who are working towards a

licensed veteran drivers who are working to remain crash free and CDL drivers who

are working to start a career as a truck or bus driver that's what we do here so

consider subscribing consider giving it a thumbs up if you haven't already and

as well as I said airbrakes explained simply is an

electronic ebook that i've rewritten the air brakes manual and tried to explain

it simply in a better format for you and giving you the exact information that

you need to pass the CDL air brakes test both in the United States and here in

Canada mostly for the United States but it's just about ready and I'm hoping to

have it up for November I just sent it back to the graphic designer with some

of the final things I got to shoot a couple of videos for it but it's going

well and I'm hoping to get that up shortly for you and the other thing I'm

working on is a winter driving course and I'm going to have one of the live

streams here working it's winter because it's feeling pretty

chilly outside it's starting to rain here so and I think the connector

between Kelowna British Columbia and Merritt tonight was predicted they're

predicting that it's going to get 10 centimeters of snow up on the high

mountain passes so it is just about wintertime here as well

AB good evening how are you where are you tuning in from Darvish Rick you have

a list of things that will be an automatic fail on a road test it would

like to know this is I don't want to make any mistakes on my road test

Darvish what I would suggest to you is to focus on what you are going to do

right on your road test and it's more important to focus on that however it

one of the same time derbyshire there is a video here on what to look for in

terms of things that are going to cause you to fail your road test ok excellent

ok chronic do MNS tires past winter tires to insurance companies yes they do

chronic there's a video do I have a video on winter tires yes

with Gary at tire land here in Vernon I have an interview with him he talks

about winter tires and M&S stands for mud and snow and yes they will pass for

winter tires and in the mountain passes and those types of things here in bridge

Columbia and other provinces ok Sebastien I had this person refused to

slow speed and let me merge on when I had to do in point 4 miles I was upset

with him he needs to be tuning in on Sunday nights Thank You Sebastian but I

don't think he's going to as I said the onus of responsibility in terms of

merging onto a highway or a freeway is really with the person who is merging so

unfortunately and I don't think that you know even if the person does to know

it's not gonna help them Liam what does a bike symbol with two arrows above it

mean in New York City Liam I would have to specifically look at that but where

are the arrows pointing Liam that would be the other thing I need to know okay

ah watching you from Windsor I passed my full G after watching your videos now my

wife's is going for a g2 test I told her to watch your videos that's awesome so

congratulations they're in Windsor that's really awesome Ashley's here I'm

doing fine how are you tonight Ashley epic you're right about my four-way stop

being complicated sometimes but my general rule is that I usually let the

vehicle on the right to go first then myself epic most of the time that's

gonna work for you if the four-way stop isn't too busy but if you find that the

four-way stops are busy as they may be during morning rush hour or in the

afternoon you're gonna want to alternate with the alternating lanes of traffic

because it's gonna move more vehicles through the intersection as opposed to

always giving way to the vehicle on the right because if you give way to the

vehicle on the right it may confuse other drivers as to what's going on so

what I might suggest is is have a look at the video and then just kind of maybe

go down to a four-week stop when they are busy and have a look at how the

traffic moves through that and that will give you a little bit more understanding

of how all that works okay Jamie Davis is getting upset yeah okay halt phases

here hi there halt halt phase hopefully tonight you're not gonna get banned as

it was good happening last week so Ashley is in from Florida that's great

as the weather starting to cool down there Ashley in Florida

24 pretty I'm related but sometimes at night I can't see the lanes when two

lanes suddenly turn to three or vice-versa yes that can be a problem

Chuck for sure and be sure to have a look at the night driving video and that

will give you some tips and techniques for being able to find the road and

determining when the lanes are going to change for example when they're gonna go

from two to three lanes or three lanes to two lanes okay so have a look at all

of that Hall phase how many people get their licenses in Canada per year you do

you know I don't know how many in Canada Hall phase but I do know that in the

province of British Columbia which has a population of about 12 million there are

60,000 new licenses a year so there's there's that's a fair number so I don't

know whether you can extrapolate that or not but I'm sure you'd be able to find

that information out fairly easily okay 380 there cloak Lee called sharrows

they define a bike lane that occupies a vehicle lane space must be adhered

between bicycles and motor vehicles okay excellent

thank you for that 380 I also check out so there's the playlist final days for

the road test and that'll help you out in terms of getting prepped for the last

days before your road test and make sure that you're going to be good and ready

for that and just on that note of final days Road prep be sure that you book a

practice driving test with a local driving school because a driving

instructor will take you out and give you an assessment of your driving

abilities and your preparedness for a road test and they'll indicate skills

techniques and abilities that you need to improve to be successful on a road

test and I know Sam who works in the Bronx Ruki auto driving school I think

it's only about 25 dollars for a practice driving test a mock road test

and it is so worth the money so I would really counsel you to take a road test a

mock road test before your road test book one three weeks out and do it two

or three days before your road test then that'll help you out okay um Matt

looking forward to that winter driving course we're already hit the freezing

mark a couple of times here in wasu yes okay definitely Matt I will make that a

priority as soon as what am i working on right now I'm doing some air brake stuff

for a company I'm working for so get all that done for you okay

all right chronic LED halogen lights what is a better way of seeing at night

halogens yes actually chronic I think there is a headlight

called Nighthawks they're not they're not cheap either fairly expensive and

actually what I'll do for you nightmare chronic is I will find those light bulbs

for you on Amazon or I'll put them up on the Amazon store so what you can do

tonight I'll just write myself a note here is

just go over to the smart drive test website and click on the Amazon link

there on the front page and that'll take over to Amazon and you can have a look

at those nighthawk just remind myself so I put that up on the smart drive test

because you can have a shop and smart drive test has his own shop on Amazon so

you can have a look at that okay um Tyrell if my permit expires and

I haven't took my driving test yet do I have to redo my whole permit or just the

permit test no you'll just Tyrell you I don't know where you are in North

America here where you are in the world rather you may just have to go in and

rewrite the theory test but you may also have to redo the whole thing again so I

don't know I would get in touch with the examination center where you're going to

be taking your test and ask them about that and what what you need to do for

that okay rail Rooter scent - camp yep I was wondering if you've received it

actually I haven't I don't know whether I've received it yet royal I'm gonna

have to have a look for that and I'll write myself a note for that as well

it's been just a crazy busy week I've been finishing up this project that just

has gone over so royal video okay so I'm gonna have a look at that - so I've

written myself a note there we go Ashley where's Ashley Ashley the last thing to

scratch the back of my car because I actually turned into a narrow alleyway

and we had to back out couldn't see what I was backing into any tips I'm backing

up at night yes one of the things I would suggest Ashley when you're backing

up at night if you can't see around your vehicle definitely stop the vehicle put

it in park put the parking brake on get out and have a look around the vehicle

because if you unfortunately that's what's gonna happen is you're gonna

scratch the vehicle if you don't know for sure and that that goes for not just

what you're doing Ashley in terms of your vehicle and backing up at night but

any vehicle that you're driving if you are the least bit unsure when you're

backing up get out and look gol gol get out and look and the bigger the vehicle

the more important that becomes because if you were in the least bit dug you

don't like even if you have somebody who's backing you up who's guiding you

if you can't see them or you're in the least bit doubt stop that vehicle secure

it and get out and look and make sure you know what

going on because unfortunately what happens is if you damage the vehicle or

you cross property damage you as the driver are responsible so make sure you

can see your end of the vehicle all right Claudia thanks for your tips have

passed my test three weeks ago you're awesome excellent thank you so

much Claudia and if you don't mind if you could head over to the smart drive

test and register for the 100k campaign which is our campaign to help under

thousand drivers pass the road test in the next year that would be really great

Brit can you a video about intersections from what lane to turn to I always get

confused ok Brit have a look at both playlists for right turning and left

turning choreo get those up for you g OCH is it raining season could you

please get more tips on driving in rainy days yes I can do that I need to do a

video on raining because the one I had had a little problem in it I think I was

speeding in the video so I need to change that ok Hall phase I saw someone

driving in the Nevada desert in one of the straight roads and he was doing 180

kilometres an hour do you recommend that when the road is straight with hardly

any cars I can't recommend that Hall phase but that's up to your own

discretion about whether you want to let the string out you're on a straight

stretch of road okay EPIK where'd you go here

EPIK from Phillipsburg New Jersey you're absolutely right about four-way stops

being complicated sometimes with my general oohs yeah we already talked

about that weird that right Brit my road test got rescheduled to this Sunday I'm

going to be practicing the whole week excellent so one of the things Brit

focus for a short period of time every time that you go out on skills and

abilities that you have difficulty with so you know if you if you're having

difficulty with parallel parking for example just book a slot of time say

listen I'm gonna do this for 15 or 18 minutes during my practice session and

that way you're not gonna wear yourself out because you know slow speed

maneuvers will improve your overall driving but don't just do that do you

spend a bit of time on it but then take a break and drive around and then come

back and do that okay Jamie my test is on the October 12th and I also live in

Vernon my mock test is on October 11th that's

awesome and Jamie who are you taking your mock road test with here in Vernon

Ashley people that have a license that have not been driven for a long time

they need to learn how to drive by themselves yes yes they do Ashley for

sure Tim there we go Tim Tim Tim Tim can there we go okay so

Tim is saying congrats tips Oh Brit tips for driving in the rain and

snow and actually interesting enough Brit one of the things for driving in

rain and snow anytime that it's overcast or you have your windshield wipers on

turn your headlights on that makes you more visible to other traffic and makes

it easier for other drivers to be able to see you that's gonna be the first and

foremost in terms of driving and rain snow as well drive to the conditions of

the roadway if it's slippery out and you're not comfortable make sure you get

stay in that right-hand lane and that you're driving at a speed that you can

handle the vehicle and get stopped as well anytime that road conditions

deteriorate increase your following distance behind other vehicles under

ideal conditions your following distance is going to be two to three seconds but

as road conditions deteriorate as it starts to rain heavier as there's more

snow on the road increase that following distance because it's going to give you

more time to stop your vehicle in the event of an emergency and those types of

things to make sure that you're looking far down the road particularly in winter

weather and whatnot because the traffic down the road could come to a stop all

of sudden and you you need lots of space to be able to get your vehicle stopped

alright and in the rain make sure you have good windshield wipers make sure

your defroster is working well one of the other things you might put on your

vehicle is rain-x and again you can go over to the smart drive test website

click the Amazon link and in there in the shop is the rain-x and the rain-x

essentially is added to your windshield washer fluid and you can squirt it on

your windshield and it will cause the rain to beat off and give you better

visibility inside your vehicle if you're finding that during this time of the

year when it's when there's a disparate temperature difference between outside

and inside your vehicle roll to roll down your window it's like crack your

drivers window in that way that'll help to

defrost some of the windows inside the vehicle and whatnot there we go okay I

Matt I've been in Illinois 16 years ago I had to renew my learner's permit

didn't have to do anything special other than to pay a small fee to renew it yeah

I was a few years ago Matt the most of these things have changed so okay Hall

phase we're off to a very slow start on 100k campaign I don't even think we've

reached a hundred yet so it's gonna take a little while to get some momentum

going here and getting lots of people knowing about 100k campaign it's one of

those marketing challenges for sure Ellie how long time to get g to license

by mail generally you should get it within six to eight weeks Ellie if you

haven't got it by six to eight weeks go down to the MTO and ask them what's

going on year 86 tips on how to back out enough of parking spots before turning

wheel to get out especially when there's a car part to your left and right okay

so 86 when you back off you want to you want to back out straight as far as you

can but essentially what you want to do you want to back out so that the the

front steer axle is at the back of the other two vehicles so for example if

you're gonna back out and you're gonna go to the right you want to have the

front axles at the rear because what's going to happen is is as you turn the

vehicle in this direction the front of the vehicle is going to go this way so

you need to be back out far enough to allow that front-end to swing past that

vehicle on that left side so that's the general rule that I would suggest to you

uh there you go there's there's Tim giving you the we're at 31 so we got a

few more to go yeah ninety nine thousand and in change there we go

Sebastian okay sorry I skipped a couple of people here and did it Colin did you

say it was your birthday I think you did okay I went down there

okay um yeah so as Tim said the 100k program was was broken for a couple of

weeks so yeah we didn't we didn't find out actually what you

should do if you come across a flooded area and there's no way to turn back I

drove through a flooded area and was afraid to damage my car okay

excellent question Ashley and one of the things I will tell you about water

sitting water on the roadway and I learned this from personal experience

that when the water starts stops going off the front of the vehicle like this

in a spray pattern because you're driving through and it's spraying off

the vehicle and rather it just kind of goes out in front of the vehicle and

ripples then the water is too deep to be driving in I learned this a few years

ago because I went through this deep water it was in a hurry we were on a

back road the whole roadway was flooded and eventually the because the engine

became flooded with water and I was with my wife at the time and she's will I

guess we'll have to get out and push so I got out of the front of the vehicle

and I pushed her on the front of the car and the cards have kind of floated away

so if you think the water is too deep to be driving in it probably is and you

really shouldn't be there so for most passenger vehicles if the water is

deeper than 8 to 12 inches or 20 to 30 centimeters it's probably too deep to be

driving in so you don't want to be driving in and if it's too deep because

eventually the car will float it will not go in there and sit down on the

bottom maybe if you have a big 4x4 or whatnot but for the most part I would

say for most passenger vehicles and light trucks 10 to 12 inches you know 10

12 to maybe 15 inches or 20 to 30 centimeters and then you shouldn't be

driving in it okay Chino I have a question regarding if you

should be looking both ways on every intersection on your road test yes you

should chain oh for sure because you need to shoulder check as well because

you're looking for road users you're looking for pedestrians people on

bicycles people on scooters so yes you need to check both ways okay yes okay

Liam what is the best way to get climatized to driving a new larger

vehicle liam one of the things to do is simply drive it okay that's the best way

to do it and do slow speed maneuvers that's gonna work out frame excellent so

you're going with Rebecca with live another day that's great so your

to do great there and she's gonna give you the awesome feedback to be

successful there the ICBC to take your test I have a question about when I am

turning right into a main road I know that I should turn into the most right

lane but should I also consider the middle lane to be empty in case I take a

wide turn no a ways when you're turning left you're gonna go into the left lane

when you're turning right you're gonna go into the right lane if you're turning

why do you need to go back and revisit the fundamentals because you need to be

able to turn from one lane of traffic into the other lane of traffic without

going wide if you go wide you're not gonna be

successful in a road test and Koryo put the video up here for you on learning to

drive and it give you some exercises with cones that you can do in a parking

lot that will help you to improve your skills with the primary controls the

steering wheel the brake and the throttle and combine those three primary

controls together and have absolute control of that because if you don't

have absolute control and you turn right and you deviate out into that middle

lane it's not likely you're gonna be successful on your road test so you need

to improve those skills okay Ryan I'm late but hello spend some

time on parallel parking today currently not a fan it's pretty tough yes Ryan it

can be a bit tough there at the beginning but it's gonna be better Hall

phase what am i working on I was looking at the air brake book today and I've got

to do two videos for the air brake book I got to do one on chaining up how to

put chains on a big truck and I got to do another video on the five in-cab

checks for air brakes and I know for most of you who are doing passenger

vehicle licenses that is probably of no interest to you but for CDL drivers and

for the purposes of doing my book air brakes explains simply I need to get

those two videos done so that's what I'm working on

Royall thanks a ton I'm an EMT in kinetic and would love to help you with

your channel I would love to provide you organically made dash cam video free of

charge to supplement your lectures royal that is incredibly generous and I am

greatly appreciative of that video because that would be just be incredibly

helpful and as I said I've written myself a note here I'm gonna look at

that dash cam video and I'll tell you that that would just be invaluable to

the channel and and helping make awareness about

emergency vehicles to drivers in North America and the world for that matter

and how important it is to you know make sure that you get out of the way and you

know give the right-of-way to people responding to emergencies and trying to

help other people in society so yeah just very generous offer I can't thank

you enough Sebastian how many miles should you put new oil in your car okay

Sebastian you should be changing the oil in your car every 5000 kilometers or

3,000 miles on most regular oil changes some of the newer vehicles that will

have synthetic oil in them and you can go as much as 7,000 kilometers between

oil changes so have a look at the owner's manual that will show you that

as well Cory will get you the video up here you have a video Sebastian on how

to change the oil in your vehicle and you can show you how to do that and it's

you know it's fairly easy I change the oil in my own vehicle and one takes me

about 20 minutes and I can do it for about $30 and it's kind of fun you know

everyone someone get out and tinker in my car so you can do that

jano should you reduce your speed when passing a bicycle I lost you there sorry

about that where'd you go where'd you go there you go no you shouldn't pass but

you should move over to the left as far as possible Vinnie had my g1 for a while

now just when I have to practice driving parallel park three-point turn just from

watching videos for a couple of days and my dad said I did better than he's ever

seen excellent we're so glad we could help you out Vinnie that's really great

yes and practice practice practice is gonna make you a better driver and help

you be successful on your road test what if I went to parallel park and there's a

car behind me star are you working towards your license test is that what

you're doing because it's unlikely I mean in some cases they will get you to

park between two vehicles for the purposes of a road test but most of the

time they're not going to get a vehicle to park a vehicle behind you for the

purposes of a road test and have a look at the mock road test video here as well

look at parallel parking that will help you over so drive smart BC that's Tim he

does some really great work and has really awesome resources at drive smart

BC and I do encourage you to head over there and look at Tim's web

as well he's got really great blog information for road rules and those

types of things

thank you so much thank you so much Tim for that encouragement and compliment

it's really great and I'm glad that we're helping a lot of people out and I

really endorse what you're doing there at drive smart BC as well and you're

doing some awesome work too and certainly helped me out and whatnot

particularly with a question a few weeks back about turning left from a one-way

street onto another one-way street or a roadway in that you can do that so a

little bit of interesting Road rules and what we're talking about tonight Paul

Feig's what do you do if the car floats well unfortunately what's gonna happen

Hall phase after a short period of time is the car is going to sink and

eventually what happened was all the foot wells in the car did fill up with

water so they'll know that eventually it will sink but for the most part it will

float for a short period of time too so if you do end up in a crash and you end

up out on the water what not it will float for a short period of time and

give you an opportunity to get out of the vehicle okay Cory I don't know how

universal it is but I was taught to not turn from backing out a lot until the

string wheel wheels is physically farther back than the cars next to you

yes if if you have that much space Cory then I recommend that as well and I know

that some parking lots are going to be fairly tight and if it is fairly tight

you you want to wait until the front steer tires are kind of in line with the

back bumpers but what you said there is is absolutely right you want to wait

until you're absolutely out of completely out of the space if you have

that much room then by all means do that because it adds a buffer of space and

safety for you while you're backing out of the space od encountered this on my

license exam theory exam true or false don't know the answer here is it animal

drawn vehicles in a roadway do not have the same rights and duties as a motor

vehicle operator that's interesting Odie and I would have to look that up it's

particularly interesting is where my mom lives in Ontario dealing with the

Midnight's and a lot of horse-drawn vehicles along the sides of the roads

and there's a Corie Oh get that up for you on

slow-moving vehicles and I put some of the Mennonites in there and that would

make sense to me because a lot of the animal drawn vehicles are not going to

be able to do the same speed limit attained the same speeds as motor

vehicles so that would make sense to me but Odie just remind me where you are in

the world there and I'll have a look at that jano where'd you go where'd you go

I'm running behind you I'm gonna have to catch up I'd like to help thank you for

helping me get through my g2 test and my Giro test I'm about to take in Toronto

on October 15th well congratulations on preparing for that and taking your test

that's a great feat and good luck on your test be sure to stop back and let

us know how that goes driven before in 59 how many lessons should I take Nancy

I would suggest that what you do is go to a driving school and go out for an

evaluation and get the driving instructor to give you some specific

feedback because I mean you may have an aptitude for driving and you may not

have to take very many or you might have to take a few more so it's kind of

depend on that so that's what I would recommend that you do is go to a driving

school and take an evaluation and see what the examiner or the driving

instructor says and the other thing Nancy I would suggest to you is find a

driving instructor that works with seniors because especially seniors who

were older and going for retesting that's gonna be your best bet and

they're gonna be able to help you the most

all right Ryan no I haven't posted the thing like I said I'm just I'm coming

back to smart drive test here I've been I've been away for the summer and I'm

finishing up another project and I'm excited to get back here and get going

on all this stuff again and I'm gonna leave myself a note for that as well

there we go and I've written a note I got that down there so get that done

okay i was-- thank you especially all the for the link you're most welcome

Royall no dash cam video from the ambulance unfortunately but I have

plenty of footage from my personal vehicle excellent that's going to help

out how often do you change do you get an oil change I change my oil in my

Honda every 5,000 kilometers haul face Chris I got pulled over with my G

by police what should I do I have a court in two months Chris what was the

infraction that the police pulled you over for all right 380 where'd you go

where'd you go where'd you go where'd you go - I agree throat I can also send

over personal vehicle unknown how similar our laws are but always willing

to help no that'd be great 380 if you could do that as well essentially I

think what I'm gonna do is - cam I'll set up a Google Drive and then we can

drop it in there because I know some of this video footage can get fairly big ok

chronic do I let off the gas pedal when being passed on a two-way Road chronic

you can do that depending on the speed differential between you and the passing

vehicle if the passing vehicle is going further quickly then I wouldn't bother

letting off but if it's kind of you know they're trying to get by you then I

would let off the throttle and let them get by you for sure ok Ashley okay I'm

going to learn how to drive by myself excellent and Ashley if you have some

trepidation about that about driving by yourself start on residential places

places where there's low traffic traffic density and just get used to it and then

you know as you become more comfortable with driving by yourself then start to

move out on busier roads and those types of things and if you're uncomfortable

driving by yourself you know it's not it's not a it's not a slight against you

if you take somebody with you to kind of give you some advice for example if

you're having if any of you having difficulty with turning left at complex

intersections then get somebody to go with you can help you up because judging

gap is difficult and if you have a veteran driver who has some experience

in the vehicle with you they can say no no no don't go there's not enough gap or

those types of things and that's a very experiential thing and they can help you

out with that so do that as well all right okay um

okay uh mayor you when you turn allowed if there's no signs yes okay I think

you're talking about right-hand turns Corey we'll get the video up for you on

turning right on a red light and how to do that with Rick's videos and pass them

first I chronic that's awesome be sure to register for anybody who's passed a

road test be sure to register I'm just trying to catch up here on the

it's Christian when I'm turning left and an intersection I'm confused in the wet

lane to turn into Christian the left lane to left lane right two-lane rain

right lane to right lane so when you turn left you're going to turn into the

left-hand Lane and then you're going to merge back to the right unless you're

gonna turn left at the next intersection or what not but for the most part you're

gonna merge back over to the right vini how long does it take to set a date for

a g2 road test and receive your license upon passing that I don't know Vinnie it

depends where you are in Ontario and how busy the MTO

licensing Center is going to be so you need to call them and see how long how

far out you can book a road test the other thing you can do video is go

through a driving school because they get blocks of appointments at the MTO

center so through a driving school you might get a sooner appointment okay

Starr I meant if there is a car going after me in the line and I just want to

parallel park do I signal so the person behind me backs off or should I look for

another spot no Starr if you're parallel parking you simply pull up the others

beside the other vehicle immediately put the vehicle into reverse and put your

while you're gonna already have your right signal so as you're approaching

the space put your right signal on when you get up three feet beside the other

vehicle put the vehicle into reverse right away and that way your reverse

lights are gonna go on and your signal is going to be on and the vehicle behind

you is gonna know that you're parallel parking so they're gonna wait for you

okay cronic you're most welcome Edwyn hi there how are you

no more rush it was a question no I appreciate the reminder Ryan that really

helps me out because I've got a lot of things going on right now so I really

appreciate that Jo I'm an experience that the drivers pressuring pedestrians

the crosswalk will turn left is this allowed no it's not a lot J no if you

start pressuring pedestrians and you start pushing through an intersection

especially on a road test you are not going to be successful on a road test so

don't do that next week excellent we'll see you next week Ryan I really look

forward to talking to you again okay so I think we've got caught up here

excellent and we're just at the end of the hour here so again if you're

watching on the replay if you like what you see here give it a thumbs up be sure

to subscribe to the channel hit the smartdrive test website if you

passed a road test and sign up for the hundred K campaign and be sure to sign

up for the newsletter that way I send out notices or when I get the winter

driving courses up in those types of things and all the information I send

that out for you and give you notices about what's going on in the smart drive

test world and again hit the thumbs up and be sure to subscribe if you like

what you see here at smart drive test thank you everyone for showing up Thank

You Corey for the Great Moderation on the channel and I'm glad that YouTube

figured out the comments and everybody was able to get their comments through

tonight last week it was a bit of a bit of a meal a in terms of trying to get

all that going kale I took my driver's test yesterday and I passed the driving

part but failed to maneuver manoeuvrability part because they

knocked over some cones excuse me sorry to hear that Kayla so do you just

have to take the manoeuvrability part again Kayla or do you have to take the

whole thing yes darn cones and somebody from Ohio asked

me about that so I'll write this down here and that'll

remind me the Ohio thing all right so we're gonna leave it there for tonight

thank you again for your time showing up and all your great questions and

remember pick the best answer not necessarily the right answer have a

great night bye now

"Smart & Sensitive" 2018 REALTOR(R) Conference & Expo - Duration: 1:52.

Hey Y'all! I'm Trista Curzydlo and I'll be presenting "Smart and Sensitive: You, Technology and the law" at the

2018 REALTOR(R) Conference and Expo on Saturday, November 3rd at 9:30 a.m.

I have to admit making videos stresses me out!

I understand the need for videos. They're a great communication tool

they can remove some of the anonymity that exists online and they are a great resource for

REALTORS(R) in their businesses.

My stress isn't from my hair or the weird way this shirt and its sleeves look on video.

I'm more concerned that my video and my website and all of my technology-based

communication tools are

accessible to everyone. Now, I don't mean to the far reaches of the world have Wi-Fi access.

I mean can someone who is visually impaired

maneuver through my website to access all of the information there? Can someone who is hearing impaired watch my video and

understand the message that I'm trying to convey? In my course "Smart and Sensitive"

We'll take a look at the Americans with Disabilities Act and guidance from the World Wide Web Consortium on how to make

communications accessible to all. We will also discuss the Fair Housing Act and the Internet of Things in our homes and our offices and

how they're impacted by a law that was written

decades before the internet was even created. A quick tip to prepare for this class:

Take a minute go to your website and see if you can navigate the site effectively using only the up and down and side-to-side

keys on your keyboard. No Mouse! You may have a potential client navigating your web-site this way.

I look forward to seeing you in November in Boston!

How to Implement Smart Banners? [Essential Tips] - Duration: 2:10.

Welcome to another episode of Ask Snappy, where you can ask us with any of your

app or marketing related questions and we'll be more than happy to answer those

for you! So, today's question comes from Andrew from

New Jersey United States and he asked about implementation and how effective

are smart app banners. So, before I answer that question for you, I would like to tell

our viewers that smart banners are primarily only available in Apple and

it's Apple Safari. It would not work, these smart banners, as we so call them,

are not available on Android phones and they're not available on your any Chrome

browser or Internet Explorer browser, so the limitation is there it is only

limited to primarily to Apple and to Safari browser. However, at the same time smart

banners have been very effectively used for getting installs for your iTunes app

and the implementation is very simple it's simply adding a meta tag which you

would actually find, so we have created a tutorial. In the description we've added

a link to the tutorial, you can simply visit that link and it will describe you

step-by-step way of how you can implement the smart banner. In essence

what it involves is simply copying a link, adding into a meta tag and adding

into the HTML of your website. So the way it works out is when someone opens your

website on an iPhone or in Safari browser, there is a top banner that comes in

which is automatically triggered and it asks the user to install an app which is

a very noble way of getting organic installs for your app

and you're not spending anything. If you find this video informative and

If you find this video informative and helpful, you can share, like and subscribe

to our channel for more such informative videos.

Bringing the knife, come over here
