 Love Island doesn't allow 'minger's on the show according to Piers Morgan who discussed the beauty standards set by the reality show on Good Morning Britain

 Tuesday's episode of the ITV breakfast show included a segment on Love Island's unrealistic beauty standards with guests Miss Great Britain Saffron Hart and model Nicola McLean

 Piers shared that he was astounded by how unintelligent the Love Island contestants were and suggested creating a show called "Rough Island" which includes ugly people with brains

   Miss GB responded to Piers' claims saying: "There's nothing to say Love Island people aren't intelligent. Jack hasn't got an ab and he's won people over with his personality

"  Piers was quick to reply and said: "Well, you can't get on Love Island if you're a minger, can you?"  He went onto explain what the word means and added: "It's not my phrase

'Minger' is a word that the Love Island idiots use all day long. It's a derogatory term for ugly people."  Nicola supported the claims that Love Island is setting unrealistic beauty standards, sharing: "Actually, it's not a well-rounded cast

It is people that look better than the average. That is facts."  Miss GB disagreed and said: "We do see them in the morning

They don't have any makeup on, they're brushing their teeth.  "I've not had any surgery done. I've not had anything done and I've still been able to find myself a boyfriend, and I've still been successful

 "So, you don't have to have these things you've got on Love Island to find love."  Fans were impressed with Miss GB's statements, with one viewer tweeting: "Miss Great Britain giving Piers a run for his money
