Greetings petrolheads and welcome to
the sixth chapter of my Assetto Corsa
career! Today we're gonna drive the BMW
M3 E92 and are hunting for the last
bronze medal. Let's see what we can do.
Four laps to make third let's see how it
goes!
[Motor]
Ah!
Sorry about that!
Trying to find out where there's enough
place for me... No! Man, what are you doing?!
[Motor]
[Motor]
That was difficult
[Motor]
but
[Motor]
I survived the first curve, as always the
first curve on any race is the most
difficult. And I'm near enough to the
third,
Renato Ramires (no, really it's with an S)
that I hopefully will be able to get him.
Not taking the curve this way...
[Motor]
Okay, you go wide, I'm gonna concentrate
here...
[Motor]
So I'm fifth. Daaaaaaang!
[Motor]
I'm gotta make two places good.
[Motor]
Whoa! Two-wide on this chicane is not
something that you want to do.
And of course we bump!
[Motor]
Sorry, man!
I've taken this curve better in the past.
[Motor]
I'm faster than the Z4
[Motor]
Went a little bit to late on the brakes.
Wasn't good but on the other hand I made the
third place again.
[Motor]
But still it wasn't good from me: too
late on the brakes! I get the feeling
that I'm faster than Steve Douglas.
I just have to start
racing and not just playing bumper cars!
[Motor]
Hopefully in the braking of the chicane.
[Motor]
[Motor]
So, two-wide into the chicane, two-wide
into this curve... No, I'm getting out of throttle
[Motor]
and seeing to it that I get you here.
Ah, he's faster on the straight. But maybe I'll
get him on the brake here.
[Motor]
No.
So, still fighting for second place...
Man! What are you doing?!
[Motor]
Okay, I made second.
I think I'm getting the hang of it.
[Motor]
Because I'm keeping the second place. And I'm
near enough to the first. Just careful,
don't play bumper cars.
So, this is the guy that also on the
other race was braking so soon. I
suppose I'm gonna get him in one of the
braking maneuvers.
[Motor]
Have to block Mr. Douglas a little bit.
[Motor]
[Motor]
That wasn't good.
[Motor]
Mr. Douglas is hoping for his
opportunity
[Motor]
which I'm trying not to give him.
Final lap. If I finish like that
I'm gonna be finishing the series.
Yeah, there I gotcha.
Well, not completely, not yet.
[Motor]
Don't brake in the middle of the curve!
Okay, difficult maneuver there.
[Motor]
Looks like as if Mr. Douglas is trying
to get to second!
That's good!
[Motor]
Because if these guys are fighting each
other, and I'm not going to first
accidentally...
[Motor]
Okay,
brake brake brake...
[Motor]
Well what do you know! I didn't expect
after all these chaos from beginning to
end to make first but I am! Hallelujah!
[Motor]
I made gold and I'm really surprised
because I wasn't expecting that
and more importantly: Tadaaaaa! "Series goal achieved!
Series unlocked: Novice 3" Let's take a peek at the novice 3 series.
Oh, nice! KTM! Come on don't tell me this isn't
a fun car!
That concludes our chapter for today.

motovlog.ro | vlog 9 - review BMW Navigator VI R1200GS - Duration: 11:28.
Hello! First of all, please excuse the filthy motorcycle. I cannot ride it, so I cannot take it to the car wash.
I promised we were going to talk about the OEM BMW navigator. So, here we go.
In its last iteration, the BMW navigatior is called Navigator VI.
And it comes in rigid case made of a fairly tough fabric, which gives me confidence it could protect the navigator from drops.
But this thing will clear your pockets of about 700 euros.
Now, anybody could say that, as we are in 2018, any phone can be used as a navigator.
Of course you can, but is the phone completely integrated with the motorcycle?
It's not!
For the phone, you need a handlebar mount, you need to keep it charging while using it as a navigator,
because the GPS receiver uses a lot of power.
Even if it's mounted on the handlebars, you still have to take your eyes off the road to look at the map.
Joking aside, let's fit this thing to the motorcycle and see what else it can do, besides telling you the way to go.
Before fitting it to the motorcycle, let me first tell you why I said it is completely integrated.
First of all, we have the navigation mount, which is fitted above the dials with a rail.
And we also have, on the left handle...
the left grip,
a rocker wheel, with four degrees of freedom.
You can turn either to the front or backwards, or you can rock it left or right.
After I fit the navigator on, I will show you what each of the four movement does.
In order to fit it you need...
the key fob,
It has a lock.
You unlock towards the left.
I've already complained about this.
It has a locking lever on the back, which secures both the safety cap and the navigator when installed.
In order to remove the safety cap, you have to press...
the lever on the right side.
After you've removed the cap, you will expose the pins through which the navigator
interfaces to the bike and charges.
It looks...
like this.
This is the front side. This is what you will be looking at.
On the back side, it has...
the contact that will come over the pins in the mount,
as well as a button that you can use to power the navigator on
and perform different tasks on it when it is out of the mount.
In order to fit it on, you have to align the lower side to the lower hook,
after which...
you press
a little harder
and on the top side, it has some spring mounts that will secure it in place.
What I realized at some point was that, after you fit the navigator, you can lock it
without having inserted the safety lever.
I saw this after about 200 kilometers
and I was lucky I did not accidentally touch the pin to release it from the mount.
So, first of all,
you secure the navigator. After which you lock...
and you are ready to go.
The key cannot be removed
as long as the navigator is not locked.
So you cannot remove the key and leave it unlocked, risking having it stolen off the bike.
You can only remove the key after having locked.
The navigator will power on automatically when you turn on the ignition on the bike.
With a small observation that, if it has stayed off the bike for a long time and the battery has discharged,
it wil take...
let's say twenty minutes to half an hour until it will charge the battery enough to power on.
Besides the main, GPS function, depicted by two large icons,
the map and the address search,
there are four extra buttons on the bottom side.
It's obvious what the volume button does.
One thing that I really like about the navigator is that
you can connect it both to your intercom and phone via Bluetooth.
This gives you the option to control your phone, through your intercom, by the navigation.
And I've returned to this menu
in order to show you what the phone button does.
You have access
to your phone contacts by Bluetooth...
to your call history...
you can dial a number directly off the navigator...
and you have the option to save fast dial numbers.
And, as we are covering the pairing between the navigator, the phone and the intercom,
there is also an app, called Media Player, where you can see, on the navigator, the song that is playing.
And you can also control the songs. You can play, you can pause...
you can rewind or change the song.
Some other apps that are really cool are
Tracks.
Which saves the places where you've been in short intervals - from when you started the bike up and switched it off.
We also have...
the weather app.
If you pair the navigator to your phone and install a Garmin app on the phone
Because, by the way, the navigator is made by Garmin.
It can download the weather news from the web and display it on the screen.
There is also an app called Round Trip, where you can plan a destination and the navigator will compute a return route.
There's also a Fuel Price app, that I've never used.
Another one of the apps is called Last Spot, which tells you where you parked your bike.
And...
the Where I've Been app, which is very similar to Tracks.
The difference is that, unlike Tracks, which saves small segment routes, from start up to switch off...
Where I've been saves the entire track that you've ridden on one particular day.
Oh, and that's also cool because you can download the .gpx file to your computer and do whatever.
There is also an Alarm Clock...
that I've never used.
A Unit Converter...
if you're into such things.
And..
that is kind of it with the bike off.
In Settings, you can change all the settings that you normally would on a navigator.
From the handlebar rocker wheel, which is very useful in the sense that you do not have to take your hand off the handlbar
in order to change whatever on the navigator...
you can
rock the wheel left or right
which will allow you to scroll through the predefined menus that can be controlled by the rocker wheel.
From the main menu, one click to the right will take you to the map.
Where you can zoom by rotating the wheel.
One more click to the right will take you to the window showing the compass and the heading.
I think this is very useful if you are on unpaved roads...
or if you go off-roading and need to follow a certain heading - just follow the compass.
One more click to the right will take you to a menu that, again, I've never used, because the predefined windows are useful enough.
But you can input different commands in the navigator.
One more click will take you to the My Motorcycle window
I find this very interesting, because the navigator communicates to the bikes and feeds you back a lot of parameters.
There are four zoom levels: you can display one, two, four or sixteen parameters.
And you can change the zoom level by using the rocker wheel and turning it to the front or towards you.
You can obviously choose the bike parameters to be displayed in each of the boxes.
Some of them are redundant, because you can also see them in the dash.
But I think it is nicer to have them right in front of you while riding.
I, for example, use the four box screen and display the speed, the ambient temperature,
the engine temperature and the fuel range.
One more click to the right will take you back to the map.
And this is just about all you can do with the rocker wheel. To scroll through predefined windows...
while riding.
And to zoom the map in and out, or change the number of displayed parameters.
One thing I do not like is that you cannot go back to the main menu with the rocker wheel.
You first have to press back here.
And, if you are riding and want to make a phone call...
you cannot reach the phone functionality by using the rocker wheel.
You have to take your hand off the handlebar, click on the phone icon, search through the contacts and then call.
I don't really get it. If they gave me the option of making calls from the navigator...
why not let me reach the functionality with the rocker wheel?
That's something I don't like.
The thing I like the most about it is that, straight from the map window,
where you can see the directions and so on...
there is an icon which shows you all the warnings that the bike relays to the navigator.
For example, at this moment, because the ignition is on the bike has not yet done the ABS and DTC tests,
I have the warning lights on in the dash,
but I also have the warnings displayed on the navigator.
Besides that, if you start running low on fuel and the reserve indicator lights up,
A fuel pump icon will be displayed here.
If you click it, it will display the nearest gas stations and you can start navigating directly to one of them.
Again, you cannot do this with the rocker wheel. You need to take your hand off the handlebars,
touch the icon, and then select the gas station you want to ride to.
That is it, I think.
If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section and I will try to answer them,
As a conclusion, I find the navigator very useful. The mounting spot is very economical,
you don't have to take your eyes off the road to look at the map,
it has some really cool apps,
I love the fact that I can control my media directly from the rocker wheel,
I hate that I cannot make calls from the same rocker wheel.
But it is too expensive.
If you want it, you first have to get the navigator preparation, which consists of
the mount and the rocker wheel.
On my bike, they came with the Touring package. Because I wanted all the package on it anyway.
But if you want to get the navigator preparation separately, it costs 200 euros.
So, 200 euros for the navigator preparation. Plus 700 euros for the navigator itself,
you will get to about 1000 euros.
I think that is way too much. A fair price would be somewhere around 500 euros.
I got the navigator from an acquaintance, for about 550 euros, so I got out cheaper.
That's all. Thanks!

My BMW M3 Made my Ears BLOW! - M3 vs RS5 [Sub ENG] - Duration: 9:40.
Ciao everyone, here it's Marchettino and today let's hope not to become deaf because I'm gonna follow my M3
and this is the mess it does from behind!
As you can see I'm in good company today, my M3 and my friend Thomas Worldsupercars' RS5!
Ciao everyone! - Your italian is pretty good!
Will talk english shortly - Yeah english!
Thomas is about to drive my M3, he's gonna make a video review available on his YouTube channel,
you find the link in the video description below - If you're not to lazy, UP! Ok, UP!
And while he's driving my M3 I'm about to drive this RS5!
It's gonna be pretty interesting to see how does this car goes and mostly, how does my car sounds like from behind!
It's gonna be my first experience in the new Audi RS5, as you know my M3 has a fabulous N/A V8, this one a twin-turbo V6, let's see how does it sounds!
Is it the electric version?
Ok valves open!
Bit quieter than yours! - Just a little bit! - Let's go!
Let's go!
I have the M3 since nearly 1 year and this is the first time I let someone drive my car without being in the car, so this is a good occasion today to
film my reaction by hearing the Armytrix from behind because yuup,
when I fitted the Armytrix and heard the sound of the car for the first time I thought I realized maybe I overdone, just a little!
It's a good thing I got valves, so with the valves closed it's very quiet, like a stock M3 whereas with the valves open you know!
I also did a professional sound level meter test - click above if you missed the video
and I found out my M3
with the valves open it does more than 130-140db!
In comparison, the V6 of this Audi sounds electric!
I think he's around 3-4000rpm!
And it feels like - Come on it can't be possible! I have to shout even though I'm not in the M3!
If feels like to have the ear 1cm from the exhaust!
It's scary!
Let me try to pull the window down!
The problem is that if I stay behind my car I can't hear the engine of this one, which means that with the manual change I redline in every gear because I don't understand
I don't understand when I don't have any more rpm available!
I really appreciate that Thomas is going heel-toe while shifting down!
I love to do that too, to hear that sound by blipping the throttle while shifting down it's fantastic!
Now I understand why every time I go for a ride in good company with friends and push our cars nobody want to stay behind me and also,
at the end of the ride the ones behind me come at me and say " Marco, I'm not staying behind you anymore, you're too loud! "
I swear my Armytrix exhaust is street legal..
well, somewhere in the world is legal!
I swear I really enjoy to hear my M3 shout like this and see it from behind!
I think I understand whenever I find police blocks, the cops are ready in the middle of the road to stop me,
they hear me coming from far away!
I have to admit, the puzzling thing is not my M3 that is excessively loud,
but it's the new RS5 that doesn't make sound at all, this is a sports car!
You say " This one's has the stock exhaust so it's normal that it's not noisy ".
No! This RS5 i'm driving has the Audi sport exhaust, a 1500€ option!
If it doesn't make any noise like this, I can't imagine with the stock exhaust!
I'm having fun to play cops and robbers with my M3!
Gendarmerie!
Hello! It wasn't us! Absolutely!
As you may see, the problem to drive my car with the valves open is that if you wanna do it, you have to do that in a quite lonely place
otherwise it's won't take that long that a local calls the police!
As owner of M3, I have to say that passing from an M3 to an RS5
is a bit like passing from spending your time with a supermodel to watch fresh paint dry!
You know what I mean?
Thomas, please finish your video review of my car because I wanna drive my M3 asap!
Well guys what to say, I've become deaf today but the Audi RS5,
it's so fast! This one I drove has a beautiful spec, this grey is fabulous!
But this V6 engine is definitely not engaging nor emotional like the N/A V8 of the M3 E92!
Do you know you made me deaf today, and technically it's my fault!
Yeah, blame yourself!
Make sure to Like the video if you enjoy it, subscribe to my YouTube - and Thomas' - if you haven't yet and as always thanks for watching, ciao!

BMW 6-serie E63/E64 buying advice - Duration: 13:02.
The BMW 6 Series is an old concept. They kept it on the shelf for 15 years.
Eventually, a second generation BMW 6 Series, the E63, was introduced in 2004.
The E64 is the convertible. That one was introduced a year later.
The convertible is fun because the rear window can come down with the roof still up.
That way you're dry or protected from the sun, but you'll have more sound from outside and fresh air.
That's a fun idea.
The gasoline engines have 252 to 500 hp for the M6.
We won't discuss the latter in this video because it has its own specific things to watch out for.
We're focussing on the non-M 6 Series in this video.
One diesel engine was available, starting with the facelift.
That car has 282 hp.
It's a straight-6 diesel engine.
The gasoline engines include straight-6 and V8.
ENGINES gasoline, diesel
The car was designed by the Dutch Adrian van Hooydonk. He's working for the French now.
He was feeling the aftermath of the Bangle era, making the 6 Series' design debatable.
This car was criticized for its looks when it was introduced,
mainly because of the Bangle butt; the quirky rear.
Some think it's cool, others don't. I think it's okay now.
I wasn't a fan back then, but now I can tolerate it. In some cases I think it's pretty.
The E63/E64's technology is based on the E60 5 Series.
That means you find a lot of technology from that car, including the iDrive system.
The iDrive wasn't very popular, especially in the early series.
There's a dial in the center and a new infotainment system.
However, iDrive got a new version after the facelift. That one worked a lot better.
The 6 Series was introduced in 2004 and got a facelift in 2007.
The last cars were delivered in 2011. That's when the F12 6 Series was introduced.
That one has been around for some time now.
About 45 6 Series are for sale on AutoTrack.nl at the moment.
The prices range from 10,000 to 35,000 euros.
A diesel engine is rare. Only two are for sale at the moment. That's not much.
PRICES minimum, maximum
Reasons to buy this generation 6 Series.
First, you get a lot of car for your money. They devaluated, to say so lightly.
You can buy well-specced cars for relatively little money.
You're buying something special, because it's a distinct car. There aren't many.
The handling is good.
It's a big and heavy car, but you don't feel that in the handling.
The handling is okay and the car is quick with the right engine.
It's a cool car.
Of course there are things to watch out for. Let's start with the 635d's powertrain.
It can feel like it lacks power. That has to do with the turbo hoses.
Eventually, the EGR can get damaged.
It's all connected, so if you feel it lacks power, go to the garage to have it checked.
The 645i with the N62 V8 engine...
It's a very nice engine if it has been well maintained. Maintenance is crucial.
First, it needs a full oil change every 30,000 km (19,000 miles).
That's 8.5 liters of new oil. The oil needs to be of good quality; no cheap crap.
That's expensive. People who bought this car for cheap may have saved on the maintenance too.
Check the maintenance history for oil changes; how often and what stuff was used.
The 645i can leak some oil at the valve covers and the oil lines.
This doesn't have to be a big problem, but it has to stay within reasonable limits.
The same engine, the N62 V8, can have cooling problems.
It can leak coolant through the head gasket or the hoses.
We're talking about the hoses at the rear of the engine, those going to the water pump.
There's a good fix, but the hoses are behind the engine. They're hard to reach.
The engine needs to come out, which makes it very expensive.
It can cost a few thousand euros in labor to change a relatively cheap part.
There's a good fix. There are aftermarket parts you can use.
The joints are better than BMW installed, fixing the problem once and for all.
The labor is just a bitter pill to swallow.
The V8's transmission has a plastic bottom.
It can warp with temperature changes over time.
Eventually you need to replace it.
The Internet says different things.
The one says 80,000 km (50,000 miles), the other says 150,000 km (93,000 miles).
Let's stick to 100,000 km (62,000 miles) for a new cover.
Check if this has been done already with a high-mileage car.
This could save you a lot of trouble.
About the BMW 6 Series' transmissions in general.
BMW says they're sealed for life, containing stuff that keeps for the car's entire life.
This also goes for the liquids in there,
but in the real world you should flush the BMW AT every 100,000 km (62,000 miles).
It'll shift more smoothly and feels better and tighter.
There are a number of things to watch out for with the suspension.
First, the valves of the tire control system can corrode because metals react.
There's a fix: install plastic valves. That's not very expensive.
This prevents further corrosion in the system and the eventual errors.
BMW 6 Series owners complain about tires wearing fast.
It's a rear-wheel drive car and some have a lot of power.
It's also because of your own driving style.
It won't be too bad if you take it easy.
It's a big and heavy car with a lot of power, so you'll go through more tires than you're used to.
There were two recalls in 2006 and 2008 for the shocks and the rear suspension attachment points.
That's not very exciting because it should've been fixed under warranty, but check if it has been done.
Things to watch out for in the interior.
First, a very simple one you wouldn't expect in a car with this price. New.
The 6 Series didn't come with a cup holder.
It's lame, but a fact. You can't store a bottle of water in the door.
If you like to drink something in your car...
I think it's very annoying to not have a cup holder. You'll need to find a solution.
BMW offered a retrofit solution on the center console, but it doesn't look pretty.
Anyway, you can put your cup down. It's your choice.
The convertible's trunk can leak.
That has to do with the top construction and worn trunk seals.
Water can get in with heavy rain.
This doesn't have to be a problem when this happens. There are drains for a quick outflow.
Water can accumulate when these get clogged.
Eventually it'll run over the stereo's amplifier.
I won't have to tell you that electronics and water don't mix.
Check if the radio works and check if the trunk is dry when buying a convertible.
If you don't want a convertible but you do want to enjoy the outside air,
you can choose a coupe with panoramic roof, like the car we're driving now.
This gives a lot of extra light in the cabin, which is nice.
However, these roofs can start to squeak when they get on in age.
The rubber seals wear. You can replace them. If not, it produces annoying sounds.
When you're going for a test drive, it's good to check if the roof is squeaky or not.
Finally, I want to point out two electronic things. This car has a lot of electronics.
Like I say every time, you should check if everything works.
As I said at the start of the video: after the facelift, BMW introduced a better iDrive system in 2009.
You can find this in the newer cars. It's much nicer to use.
If you disliked the satnav in an older car, you can try it in a newer car. Perhaps you like that better.
The satnav units can break. They work with a CD.
If you go to BMW with a broken satnav, they'll probably want to replace the whole unit.
That'll be 2,000 euros. That's a lot of money.
However, usually the problem lies with the CD/DVD reader.
You can have it fixed at a specialist for a few 100 euros. The unit will work again.
If your unit is broken, you can check if you can have it fixed cheaply instead of buying a new unit.
On AutoTrack we searched for a car to use in this video.
We ended up at Koolaard.com. We saw a 645Ci with a CNG tank, so you can drive it economically.
It's a nice edition. Silver gray on the outside with Alpina rims.
The rims are imitations, but they look cool.
Also, it has a red interior and a panoramic roof.
I like that. It makes this car special.
If it were gray with a black interior... Okay.
This makes for a nice combination. It's for sale at Koolaard.com.

mujer
he realizado hace poco en harvard
montar algo yo siempre recomiendo no
marketing perfecto vale posible puedes
pagarlo y prefieres pagarlo es una es
otra opción ambas opciones son válidas a
la vista de los resultados de este
análisis de la compra de un coche bmw
quiero conocer tu opinión por lo que
déjame los comentarios con el hashtag

Epic Bridgestone A41 Test: Greece+Spain+Maroko: VStrom1000 + Honda AfricaTwin 2018 + BMW F750 2018 - Duration: 10:53.
On-Off motorcycle segment, is a category with many characters
with models serving many roles...
these models have a counterpart demand from tires manufactures
New A41 tire from Bridgestone, is purposely build to meet these demands...
A tire designed for off-road motorcycles is necessary by its design
to possess a multi-dimensional character and multiple features,
just like the purpose of the motorcycles that it is called to serve.
There is no option of focusing on a single use.
It must be able to respond to a wide range of conditions, concerning the weather or the ride.
It has to offer excellent levels of grip whether it travels in the urban environment,
either at high speeds on the trip or even on the secondary provincial network.
It is also necessary to be able to cope with these requirements
even with increased load,
with a passenger and luggage on the bike and - most of all -
with a long mileage.
The A41 is designed precisely with these requirements,
which in short - and abusive - we could encompass them with the term Adventure.
On off-road riding, the A41 performs above the average of the class,
with a focus on comfort and higher levels of traction than predisposed to the tread pattern.
Particularly positive is the neutral feeling while leaning in the turns,
which strengthens the overall linear tire performance, on consecutive curves.
Predictability is a key feature, regardless of the degrees of gradient they achieve.
The stability that the rider perceives in the straights
is also present when the bike turns, enhancing homogeneity and flow riding.
The Adventure A41 has proven to be a tire with many aspects in its character
that can balance between different worlds.
The first feeling you get from the A41 is the tire's stability over a wide range of speed,
and the relative stiffness of the frame to which this first impression is due.
At the same time,
it is impressive how quickly the tire's operating temperature is achieved,
even in cold weather and low temperatures.
In the majority of cases, even before the first kilometer was completed,
the A41 offered more than 80% of the maximum grip they can offer.
It is characteristic of the difference,
in relation to the homologation tires wearing the test bike,
to almost zero activation of traction control,
even when deliberate attempts were made to activate it.
But even more striking in the performance of the A41
is its behavior in the rain and the wet pavement.
Grip moves to much higher levels and this translates into a correspondingly increased sense of safety for the rider.
Tread pattern contributes greatly to this,
and the difference in the center of the tread compared to the side segments is perceived.
It manages to bring a substantial improvement over its predecessor,
the A40, and connects with the best possible way
the theory of technical features with substance in real conditions.
We tested A41 in Greece.. in every condition
we tested them in Europe with different bikes...
and now we're testing them in Morocco Africa... starting from Ouarzazate and hitting the desert roads...
Our experience with the A41 started in Greece and was completed in Morocco,
after several testing across Europe with different motorcycles, in different countries and with different conditions.
We rode them to Granada on the Africa Twin Adventure Sports
and then in Malaga with the new BMW F750GS to complete the experience in Morocco,
riding to a 270 km route, of which 50 on desert soil.
Our initial impressions were confirmed in all these tests,
where on the fast-changing leaning angles and consecutive turns,
the lesser triangular crown of the A41,
which required more decisive lines and a little more effort to ride at a truly sporty pace, was evident.
But we also confirmed the speed at which they come into operating temperature
and the confidence they inspire almost from the beginning of the ride at sweeping curves.
In Morocco A41 also unleashed its virtues on flat dirt roads,
where deliberate slips were progressive and under control,
and their condition after hard use over planted rocks and gravel
remained excellent.
Through such an absolute benchmark comparative test of different conditions,
the A41 has undoubtedly introduced credentials of their efficiency
for the all-road motorcycle class.

BMW F800ST (К71) Adjusting belt tension + Replacing belt. - Duration: 3:01.
BMW F800ST (К71) Adjusting belt tension + Replacing belt.
To adjust the tension of the belt, lift the rear wheel of the motorcycle with the help of a Central footrest or other devices.
Note that the wheel does not need to be removed, I shot for balancing.
Back off clamp screws by a maximum of one full turn.
M8 with head - external TORX E-10.
Slacken tensioning screw a few turns, do not remove.
Then take a screwdriver or other suitable tool and back off eccentric.
The belt is loosened and ready for adjustment and tension. (or replacement).
Measuring vertical runout at belt pulley.
Find the lowest point (minimum) of the belt pulley
pulley and apply an indelible colour mark at this point.
In my case, the deviation turned out to 0,15 mm.
. Very small values and how they affect the characteristics is not clear,
but the measurement of radial runout is in the official BMW service, so I decided to do the same.
Put the belt in place and twist it in the course of movement, that he stood in his place and leveled.
And so stretch.
Screw the tension (adjustment) screw to the desired belt tension.
In the service centers there is a special device for measuring the tension.
I was pulling.
Eccentric clamp after adjustment of belt tension. 1st tightening torque, clamping screws, 10 Nm;
2nd tightening torque, clamping screws, 30 Nm;
Slacken the adjusting screw;
Tightening torque, clamping screws, 30 Nm;
Tightening torque, adjusting screw, 10 Nm.
And Yes, use a torque wrench, or it will be that.
If you need to replace the belt, you need to loosen the belt as mentioned above.
Removing pinion cover.
Releasing front right footrest plate.
Remove centre stand.
Removing top outboard belt guard. Removing bottom outboard belt guard.
Next, change the belt and do as in the video.
Installing pinion cover.
Installing front right footrest plate.
Install the bottom outboard belt guard. Installing top outboard belt guard.
It's all finished!
