Piers was speaking to Campus Carry advocate Antonia Okafor, who says there should be more guns in schools in the wake of the Florida school shooting.

The debate comes after Donald Trumps daughter, Ivanka, seemed to suggest that teachers should be armed to prevent any further massacres in schools.

Good Morning Britain invited Sam Zeif, who was a pupil at the Stoneman Douglas High School during the shooting, and NRA member Antonia Okafor to take part in a lively debate.

Sam started the on-air discussion, explaining: If teachers were armed, they wouldnt have been able to do anything.

It goes against the code red protocol that is in place during these events.

Anyway, we had an armed deputy on campus, and he did nothing to stop the attack. However, Antonia hit back: Absolutely teachers should have access to defend and stop a perpetrator.

Teachers and students need the tools to defend their lives. But Antonias arguments didnt wash well with Piers, with the 52-year-old slamming Antonia for her views.

"Secondly, America is in the west? Do you even know where you are? You ridiculous woman!" Piers Morgan Can you tell me why in so many countries, such as the UK and Germany, that gun violence goes down after stricter gun control is brought in? Piers began his argument.

Yet in America, things are just getting worse.

How many children need to die before anything is done? But 27-year-old Antonia was not going to take Pierss damning statements lying down, hitting back: Evil doesnt have an age limit.

As a black woman, I would want something to defend my life.

My parents are from Nigeria, and they came to the US.

All your examples are from the Western world.

What about Egypt, where they have mass shootings? The awkward moment saw Piers reply: A: This hasnt got anything to do with your skin colour, so shame on you for bringing that up.

Secondly, America is in the west? Do you even know where you are? You ridiculous woman! Shame on you, Piers Morgan! Antonia shouted back.

And GMB viewers took to Twitter after the fiery debate, with many siding with Piers over the controversial topic.

Ive never liked Piers Morgan, but I cant fault the interview he just did on gun control, said one viewer.

Its ridiculous that people are trying to fight shootings with the justification for more guns. A second viewer wrote: That lady was so unreal in the gun debate.

Well done Piers for the wise words against guns in America. I love it when Piers Morgan goes in on gun nut Americans on GMB, praised a third.

How on earth can more guns before the solution? If Sandy Hook couldnt change gun laws, what can?.

It was a lively GMB this morning, with Piers also showing off his saucy Villain of the Year trophy from the NME Awards.

The distinctive middle-finger design, which Piers wiggled at the cameras, saw co-host Susanna Reid apologise live on-air for Piers swearing.

The 22-year-old glamour model put on an eye-popping display as she rinsed herself off whilst holidaying in Spain.

Taking a break from lounging on the sun beds, she stepped underneath the spraying water and stripped down to bare her busty chest.

The body confident blonde wore nothing but a pair of red bikini bottoms for the occasion, getting onlookers hot under the cover.

In one shot, the siren posed against a wall with her arms above her head and pouted seductively as the water cascaded onto her cleavage.

And Beth didnt just flaunt her breast assets for the photographer.

The Page 3 girl also made sure that her peach had just as much attention by doing a complete 180 and bending over.

A few titillating pics showed Beth from behind.

The aspiring actress balanced herself with both hands against the wood panelling while her perky bottom did all the talking.

But Beth soon decided that her only piece of swimwear was too restricting, so she quickly removed them and went completely nude.

Her luscious mane was draped on her back and she was careful to make sure the running water didnt touch it.

It looks like Beth has well and truly put her alleged Corrie axing behind her.

She was dropped from the ITV soap earlier this month for reportedly leaking the shows stripper storyline on Twitter.

The bombshell was a regular on to cobbles and frequently appeared in Bistro and café scenes.

But its not all doom and gloom for Beth, as shes since claimed that a stint in the Emmerdale cast could be on the horizon.
