welcome to wacky Wednesday's where everyone has a chance to show off their
car mods, and here's this week's winner, the Ford Escort is a small family car
which was manufactured by Ford Europe from 1968 to 2004, the Ford Escort was
revised in January 1995 although it was still based on the previous model, this
version had new front lights, bonnet front wings, front and rear bumpers, wing
mirrors, door handles, and four different front radiator grills, at the rear the
Ford logo moved from the right to the center of the boot except for the
convertible models, the interior of the car was hugely revised too,
dynamically the handling and ride were also much improved with revised
suspension setup from the previous mark five models, the sporty C
model had slightly stiffer suspension than the LX and the other variants although
the C was otherwise the same as the LX with some additional standard mainly
cosmetic enhancements such as front and rear spoilers, sports seats and white
face dashboard instruments, I got this car in 2014
having paid close to $400 for it, it was a bargain the engine and gearbox were
working fine, it needed minor repairs and also the battery had to be replaced, I
chose this Ford Escort because it was the most reliable simple to work on car
for sale in my budget, parts are fairly easy to come by as it
shares a lot with the first generation Ford Focus and some other models an
added bonus was that it is a pretty rare car
you don't see on the European roads anymore, this particular car has a 1.6
liter four-cylinder petrol engine, it produces 90 horsepower and 134 Newton
meters of torque even though it's a budget-friendly car
it has a lot of nice features features like heated windscreen and rear window,
air conditioning, central locking and an immobilizer, electric windows and mirrors,
comfortable seats with some sides support, overall the mk7 escort is a fun
compact car for daily driving with great handling and reliability, with some love
care and minimal investments you can enjoy it and let it be enjoyed,
Thank You Scotty for featuring my car in this week's episode and to everyone
else, rev up your engines and remember to enjoy
your cars, well that was this week's video and to
have your car mod shown on my channel here check this out, so if you never want
to miss another one of my new car repair videos, remember to ring that Bell!
