Auto news on Youtube Dec 28 2018

The car was made in 2004,

and has got 143,000 miles

As for consumption / mileage

in 3 °C / 37 °F weather

11.9 l/100km / 28mpg

Which is acceptable

but it's has much country road driving

Fuel tank capacity is : 70l / 18.5 gal

though it can drink it dry quickly.

ZF 6 speed Automatic transmission

Steptronic, with sport mode

The sport button makes the transmission shift more aggressively and higher rpm.

more aggressive, RPM's, shift point etc

Conventional handbrake

With nice nappa leather

2nd Generation iDrive infotainment system

You haven't had issues with it, did you?

(owner) No, I haven't

Just for a little bit

Listen to the HiFi

it's the Logic 7 - 10 speaker system

It is the high-end audio option of that era.

We can adjust the Equalizer independently

Different Sound Effect playback modes

Concert hall, theater.. etc

Electric windows

Auto dimming wing mirrors, and interior mirrors

So, if they catch up with us from behind with high beam

Which is improbable, because this is a very fast car

then

it darkens automatically (autochrome)

it is also a heated mirror

and electric folding

(Blows nose)

Electric adjustable, memory M-Sport front seats

with lumbar support

but most importantly they are HEATED leather seats!

without that option I wouldn't buy it in the first place.

automatic lights

in this mode, the car constantly monitors outside light conditions and adjusts

The dynamic xenon is very bright

Have they been faulty so far?

and how much does a D2S bulb cost?

(owner) I didn't need to change them yet.

only the angel eye bulbs

built in headlight washer

This is Dynamic Xenon.

0 turned off

DRL Daylight

and low beam

Front foglights

rear foglights

It has the standard E63 front bumper with two halogen front foglights.

Big bulky BMW kidneys

in fact, this car was designed by the same person

who did the E60.

His name was Chris Bangle

When you stand next to this car, you just can't complain about its style

on paper or on display, sometimes you can get unfavourable perspectives

but, overall

it is a beast of a car.

the rims are ellipsoid style 121

plus they are sprayed to the factory metal color (BMW stratus grey)

to match its body color

It is indeed magnificent

Side turn signal with a little "accessoarer"

the door seals are a known weak point of these BMW coupes.

they tend to cost 400$ brand new / side

Oh and this is the illuminated "BMW" door sill plate

You can see its' orangish color

to be aware of what you are getting into

this black felt tends to separate from the door seal rubber unfortunately.

as well as at E46 coupes this is a common issue.

Fortunately this one is intact

You can see that this has the shadowline trim on the roofline

You can also have the fancy chrome line

oh and we don't have soft-close doors here

Thanks man.

That's the sound of a shutting door of a BMW E63

Let's look at these rims, closer.

Tell me more about this wheel please.

How wide is it?

These are the two-width rims

19" 19x8.5J ET14 245/40R19 16.9kg FRONT

19" 19x9J ET18 275/35R19 16.9kg 6series E63 rear

How deep would your pocket has to be?

if you buy a worn out 645ci with no threads on its tires?

1000$ / set

BMW boot badge switch stuck fix - Duration: 2:33.

Hey! Today we are next to a BMW

and if you are opening your boot with a badge switch

and you get the badge stuck in some position I'll show you how to fix it,

where's the lubrication required

to make this go back each time.

This gets worst when you car is really dirty

and when it's cold, because all this friction

on the rotation axis is causing the badge to stay in this position.

So we have the trip removed

and you can see that over here

and over here

it needs some lubrication.

Let me just move the badge so you can see what's going on over here.

Here's the switch.

And we can move the badge using this.

As you can see when I release it

it doesn't go to the end position.

So we're going to clean it and lubricate it.

OK, now it should work perfect.

Now I need to put back the trim

and that's it.

OK, thank you for watching Give me thumbs up if this tutorial helped you.
